In this paper,an intelligent control method applying on numerical virtual flight is proposed.The proposed algorithm is verified and evaluated by combining with the case of the basic finner projectile model and shows a...In this paper,an intelligent control method applying on numerical virtual flight is proposed.The proposed algorithm is verified and evaluated by combining with the case of the basic finner projectile model and shows a good application prospect.Firstly,a numerical virtual flight simulation model based on overlapping dynamic mesh technology is constructed.In order to verify the accuracy of the dynamic grid technology and the calculation of unsteady flow,a numerical simulation of the basic finner projectile without control is carried out.The simulation results are in good agreement with the experiment data which shows that the algorithm used in this paper can also be used in the design and evaluation of the intelligent controller in the numerical virtual flight simulation.Secondly,combined with the real-time control requirements of aerodynamic,attitude and displacement parameters of the projectile during the flight process,the numerical simulations of the basic finner projectile’s pitch channel are carried out under the traditional PID(Proportional-Integral-Derivative)control strategy and the intelligent PID control strategy respectively.The intelligent PID controller based on BP(Back Propagation)neural network can realize online learning and self-optimization of control parameters according to the acquired real-time flight parameters.Compared with the traditional PID controller,the concerned control variable overshoot,rise time,transition time and steady state error and other performance indicators have been greatly improved,and the higher the learning efficiency or the inertia coefficient,the faster the system,the larger the overshoot,and the smaller the stability error.The intelligent control method applying on numerical virtual flight is capable of solving the complicated unsteady motion and flow with the intelligent PID control strategy and has a strong promotion to engineering application.展开更多

Xinqiao Gully is located in the area of the 2008 Wenchuan M_(s)8.0 earthquake in Sichuan province,China.Based on the investigation of the 2023"6-26"Xinqiao Gully debris flow event,this study assessed the eff...Xinqiao Gully is located in the area of the 2008 Wenchuan M_(s)8.0 earthquake in Sichuan province,China.Based on the investigation of the 2023"6-26"Xinqiao Gully debris flow event,this study assessed the effectiveness of the debris flow control project and evaluated the debris flow hazards.Through field investigation and numerical simulation methods,the indicators of flow intensity reduction rate and storage capacity fullness were proposed to quantify the effectiveness of the engineering measures in the debris flow event.The simulation results show that the debris flow control project reduced the flow intensity by41.05%to 64.61%.The storage capacity of the dam decreases gradually from upstream to the mouth of the gully,thus effectively intercepting and controlling the debris flow.By evaluating the debris flow of different recurrence intervals,further measures are recommended for managing debris flow events.展开更多

This paper introduces a closed-loop tension control system with the programmable logic controller (PLC) with function modules as its control kernel, the alternating current (AC) servo motor as execute element and the radius-following device to accomplish the real-time radius compensation. The mechanism of the tension control system is analyzed and the numerical model is set up. The compensation technique of the radius of the scroll is analyzed. The effects of wind and wave actions are considered by inputting ...A wind turbine system equipped with a tuned liquid column damper (TLCD) is comprehensively studied via shaking table tests using a 1/13-scaled model. The effects of wind and wave actions are considered by inputting response- equivalent accelerations on the shaking table. The test results show that the control effect of the TLCD system is significant in reducing the responses under both wind-wave equivalent loads and ground motions, but obviously varies for different inputs, Further, a blade-hub-tower integrated numerical model for the wind turbine system is established. The model is capable of considering the rotational effect of blades by combining Kane's equation with the finite element method. The responses of the wind tower equipped with TLCD devices are numerically obtained and compared to the test results, showing that under both controlled and uncontrolled conditions with and without blades' rotation, the corresponding responses exhibit good agreement. This demonstrates that the proposed numerical model performs well in capturing the wind-wave coupled response of the offshore wind turbine systems under control. Both numerical and experimental results show that the TLCD system can significantly reduce the structural response and thus improve the safety and serviceability of the offshore wind turbine tower systems. Additional issues that require further study are discussed.展开更多

In the stepless capacity control system of a reciprocating compressor,mechanical unloaders are used to partially hold suction valves open for a certain time during the compression stroke. The typical working process of the reciprocating compressor is changed by capacity regulation apparatus. However,some critical parameters like the hydraulic force acting at the unloader have not been rigorously studied in previous researches. Here an improved numerical model of a double acting reciprocating compressor under the control stepless capacity is proposed and verified by experimental trials. Numerical simulations are carried out to select and evaluate the acting force which definitely has an influence on indicator diagrams of compressors. It is observed that the optimized range of 350 N to 380 N is preferable for the unloader force such that the intensity of opening and closing impacts are minimized.展开更多

In contrast to most previous studies, the coupling effect among the vertical, the pitch and the roll motions of the suspension system of a tracked vehicle is considered simultaneously. An efficient approaching is developed for global asymptotic stabilization of this four-dimensional hyperchaotic system. Based on the method of inverse optimal control for nonlinear systems, a linear state feedback is electronically implemented. The vibration control of suspension systems is a very important factor for modern track vehicles. A fuzzy logic control for suspension system of a track vehicle is presented. A mechanical model and a system of difft, rential equations of motion taking account of the mass of loading wheel are established. Then the fuzzy logic control is applied to control the vibration of suspension system of track vehicles for sine signal and random road surfaces. Numerical simulation shows that the maximum acceleration of suspension system can be reduced to 44 % of the original value for sine signal road surface, and the mean square root of acceleration of suspension system can be reduced to 21% for random road surface. Therefore, the proposed fuzzy logic control is an efficient method for the suspension systems of track vehicles.展开更多

The study was firstly focused on the establishment of an integrated hardware-in-the-loop(HITL) platform for aircraft flight simulation based on MATLAB/Simulink + dSPACE. The platform combines the abundant software and hardware resources of dSPACE simulation platform to simulate the flight attitude of an aircraft in six-DOF ( degree of freedom) motion. Based on the platform, the study was then focused on the flight numerical simulation by taking a loitering aerial vehicle as an example. An aircraft mathematical model was created for a modular design and off-line numerical simulation based on MATLAB/Simulink. Finally, the study was focused on the control system design of the loitering aerial vehicle and conduct of an HITL simulation experiment for the vehicle pitch control. The experiment verifies the system design and control effectiveness. Research results show that the dSPACE simulation system provides a real time good experimental platform to improve the efficiency of study and development of a flight control system.展开更多

文摘An importance analysis model for computer numerical control(CNC)lathe subsystems was proposed.The model was based on technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution(TOPSIS)and considered the structure correlation between subsystems and the complete machine,the fault correlation of each subsystem and so on.The model can obtain a comprehensive sequencing of subsystems based on their importance to the complete machine.It lays a theoretical foundation for reliability allocation.

文摘A scheme of fuzzy logic control for the suspension system of a tracked vehicle is presented. A mechanical model for the whole body of a tracked vehicle, which is totally a fifteen-degree-of-freedom system, is established. The model includes the vertical motion, the pitch motion as well as the roll motion of the tracked vehicle. In contrast to most previous studies, the coupling effect among the vertical, the pitch and the roll motions of the suspension system of a tracked vehicle is considered simultaneously. The simulation of fuzzy logic control under road surface with random excitation shows that the acceleration, pitch angle and roll angle of suspension system can be efficiently controlled.

文摘Metal additive manufacturing(MAM)is an emerging and disruptive technology that builds three-dimensional(3D)components by adding layer-upon-layer of metallic materials.The complex cyclic thermal history and highly localized energy can produce large temperature gradients,which will,in turn,lead to compressive and tensile stress during the MAM process and eventually result in residual stress.Being an issue of great concern,residual stress,which can cause distortion,delamination,cracking,etc.,is considered a key mechanical quantity that affects the manufacturing quality and service performance of MAM parts.In this review paper,the ongoing work in the field of residual stress determination and control for MAM is described with a particular emphasis on the experimental measurement/control methods and numerical models.We also provide insight on what still requires to be achieved and the research opportunities and challenges.
文摘In this paper, some basic dynamical properties of a four-dimensional autonomous hyperchaotic system are investi- gated by means of Poincare mapping, Lyapunov exponents and bifurcation diagram. The dynamical behaviours of this new hyperchaotic system are proved not only by performing numerical simulation and brief theoretical analysis but also by conducting an electronic circuit experiment. An efficient approaching is developed for global asymptotic stabilization of this four-dimensional hyperchaotic system. Based on the method of inverse optimal control for nonlinear systems, a linear state feedback is electronically implemented. It is remarkably simple as compared with other chaos control ways, like nonlinear state feedback.
文摘The vibration caused by terrible road excitation affects the ride quality and safety of track vehicles. The vibration control of suspension systems is a very important factor for modern track vehicles. A fuzzy logic control for suspension system of a track vehicle is presented. A mechanical model and a system of difft, rential equations of motion taking account of the mass of loading wheel are established. Then the fuzzy logic control is applied to control the vibration of suspension system of track vehicles for sine signal and random road surfaces. Numerical simulation shows that the maximum acceleration of suspension system can be reduced to 44 % of the original value for sine signal road surface, and the mean square root of acceleration of suspension system can be reduced to 21% for random road surface. Therefore, the proposed fuzzy logic control is an efficient method for the suspension systems of track vehicles.

文摘In this paper two classes of equivalence transform methods for solving ordinary differential equations are proposed. One class of method is the equivalence integral transform method for special differential algebraic problems. The advantage of this class of method is such that the amount of work calculating one integration with parameters becomes that of two interpolations, when the system of nonlinear equations is solved on the right hand side function. The other class of method is the equivalence substitution method for avoiding calculating derivative on the right hand side function. In order to avoid calculation derivatives, two equivalence substitution methods are proposed here. The application instances of some special effect of the equivalence substitution methods are given.

文摘An investigation into the aircraft flight simulation and control system is presented in this paper. The study was firstly focused on the establishment of an integrated hardware-in-the-loop(HITL) platform for aircraft flight simulation based on MATLAB/Simulink + dSPACE. The platform combines the abundant software and hardware resources of dSPACE simulation platform to simulate the flight attitude of an aircraft in six-DOF ( degree of freedom) motion. Based on the platform, the study was then focused on the flight numerical simulation by taking a loitering aerial vehicle as an example. An aircraft mathematical model was created for a modular design and off-line numerical simulation based on MATLAB/Simulink. Finally, the study was focused on the control system design of the loitering aerial vehicle and conduct of an HITL simulation experiment for the vehicle pitch control. The experiment verifies the system design and control effectiveness. Research results show that the dSPACE simulation system provides a real time good experimental platform to improve the efficiency of study and development of a flight control system.
