Analysis of Professional Quality Cultivation Strategies for Infant and Child Care Service Talents from the Perspective of Collaboration of Medical Care,Parenting,and Education,and Integration of Industry and Education

The collaboration of medical care,parenting,and education aims to integrate nursing,midwifery,infant and child care services,and management with speech and hearing rehabilitation technology,among other elements related to the infant care industry chain.This integration targets pediatrics talent training in nine infant care positions,including nursing,infant health care and management,and child rehabilitation,to ensure that the capabilities and quality of professional talents can meet the health care needs of infants and young children.This article briefly explains the background of the“collaboration of medical care,parenting,and education,and integration of industry and education.”It analyzes the necessity of cultivating infant and child care service talents based on the perspective of“collaboration of medical care,parenting,and education,and integration of industry and education.”Based on this perspective,we conducted an in-depth study of the cultivation of professional qualities of infant and child care service talents.

Analysis on the Guarantee for the Quality Safety of Agricultural Products by the Farmer Professional Cooperative

Decentralized production model of small peasant household is main threat for China food safety source. By using the advantage of farmer professional cooperative in controlling the quality of agricultural products,its dilemma at the guarantee aspect of agricultural product quality safety is analyzed,and the guaranteeing measures of farmer professional cooperative for quality safety of agricultural products are proposed,which has an important significance for improving quality safety of agricultural products.

Advantages,Difficulties and Countermeasures of Farmers’ Professional Cooperatives Guaranteeing the Quality and Safety of Agricultural Products

Food safety concerns the health of consumers,while quality and safety of agricultural products are the source of food safety,and it is of great significance to ensure the quality and safety of agricultural products.The decentralized production mode of Chinese farmers is the main threat to the source of food production safety in China.In this paper,the advantages of Chinese farmers'professional cooperatives in controlling quality of agricultural products and difficulties in the quality and safety assurance of agricultural products are analyzed.Finally,the guaranteeing measures of the quality and safety of agricultural products by Chinese farmers'professional cooperatives are proposed.

Relationship between quality of professional life and organizational commitment in intensive care unit nurses

Objective:The quality of professional life has attracted the attention of many managers owing to its importance,and organizational commitment differs according to work conditions in an organization.As the largest professional group in the healthcare system,nurses face many stressful factors that can endanger their quality of professional life and organizational commitment.Despite their huge importance,these 2 variables have rarely been addressed or evaluated in the nursing profession.The present study was conducted to determine the relationship between quality of professional life and organizational commitment in nurses working in the intensive care units(ICUs)and critical care units(CCUs).Methods:The present descriptive-analytical study was conducted on 221 nurses working in the ICUs of hospitals affiliated to Shiraz University of Medical Sciences and selected through proportional stratified sampling.The data collection tools comprised demographic questionnaires,the quality of work-life questionnaire by Walton with 8 dimensions,and the valid and reliable organizational commitment scale by Meyer and Allen.The data were analyzed in SPSS,version 23(IBM Corporation,Armonk,New York,United States),using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques,including Spearman correlation,Pearson correlation,the Kruskal-Wallis test,the Mann-Whitney U test,the c2 test,and the independent t test.P<0.050 was set as the level of statistical significance.Results:The mean scores of quality of professional life and organizational commitment were 58.996±14.427 and 93.840±13.900,respectively,in the ICU nurses.The Pearson test showed positive and significant relationships between quality of professional life and organizational commitment(r=0.392,P<0.001).Conclusions:Given the positive relationship found in the present study between organizational commitment and quality of professional life,it is recommended that organizational commitment be modified to improve the quality of professional life in nurses.

"Ten Thousand"Project to Cultivate the Professional Quality of Medical and Nursing Students:A Case Study of Suzhou Vocational and Technical College of Health

With the continuous development of the economy and the continuous improvement of people's requirements for the quality ofmedical care, medical staffs in hospitals need to have good professional qualities to better provide quality services for patients.Higher vocational colleges are an important training base for medical and nursing skilled personnel in China, but most medicaleducation focuses on students' professional knowledge and skills education, often neglecting the cultivation of professional quality.Taking Suzhou Vocational and Technical College of Health as an example, in this paper, a preliminary analysis of the currentsituation of training medical and nursing students' professional literacy in higher vocational colleges based on the "ten thousand"project was carried out, and its importance and significance discussed.

Exploring the Perception of Job Quality among Banking Professionals:The Case of a Small Island Developing State

The purpose of this study was to explore the perception of the Mauritian banking sector (MBS) professionals on job quality with respect to their current jobs using the OECD Framework (2015). It attempts to fill an existing gap in the Job Quality literature by providing empirical evidence on job quality in the banking sector in a small island developing state like Mauritius. Not many, if any, of the studies conducted in the banking sector concentrate on job quality in a small island development state (SIDS) context. This exploratory study therefore made use of the qualitative interpretive research paradigm using semi-structured, face-to-face interviews. The population comprised of banking professionals at supervisory and managerial levels across different banking institutions in the island. Purposive sampling method was adopted using the snowball sampling technique which used the researcher’s judgment in locating the type of people who would provide rich information pertaining to job quality. 15 banking professionals agreed to take part in the study. Findings revealed that banking professionals in Mauritius better perceived recognition rather than earnings quality, and the social rather than physical work environment as major determinants of their job quality. They also opined that their job security was however based on their performance and willingness to learn and grow in the organisation. Appropriate recommendations were thus provided in the light of these findings.

An Empirical Study on Improving the Quality of Agricultural Undergraduate Thesis from the Perspective of Professional Certification

Professional certification is an important way to promote professional construction and the quality of personnel training.Undergraduate thesis is an important part of comprehensive training for agricultural students,and it is also one of the"prescribed actions"of professional certification examination.Based on the perspective of professional certification,taking the graduation thesis of Agronomy Major of Southwest University in recent five years as an example,this paper analyzes the reasons for the gap between the quality of graduation thesis and professional certification standards,and puts forward six paths to improve the quality of graduation thesis of agricultural undergraduates,such as more independent topic selection,more diversified forms,multilink submission materials online,relaxed time,and adding graduation thesis index We should guide the project,link up the construction of professional core courses,build a"learning community between teachers and students".

Problems and Effective Measures of Enhancing Medical Record Coders’ Professional Qualities

Medical record coding plays an important role in hospital management and the improvement of medical record coding quality is quite important to hospital management.The professional qualities of medical record coders significantly affect the improvement of coding quality.At present,Medical record coders lack in professional knowledge,clinical knowledge and disease classification knowledge.In order to improve the quality of medical record coding,medical record coders should receive regular professional training,and hospital management departments should strengthen the monitoring of the quality of medical record coding.When encountering problems in the process of coding,medical record coders should take the initiative to consult and learn from clinicians.At the same time,medical record coders should cultivate a sense of responsibility,which can continuously improve their professional qualities and achieve the objective of improving the quality of medical record coding.

Levels of vocational satisfaction,burnout and compassion fatigue of health professionals working in pediatric clinics

BACKGROUND Burnout and compassion fatigue are affecting the quality of professional life.AIM To investigate the levels of vocational satisfaction,burnout,and compassion fatigue and factors that may be related to health professionals working in children’s clinics.METHODS The study sample was in the west of Turkey.Data were collected using the questionnaire form and the quality of life scale for employees.RESULTS The findings obtained in this study showed that the level of vocational satisfaction of female health professionals and the burnout level of male health professionals were higher.The professional satisfaction of the doctors was lower than that of the nurses and midwives,and the mean score of burnout and fatigue was high.CONCLUSION Further studies are needed on this topic to help improve the factors that may affect the professional quality of life of health professionals.

Competency Assessment and Factors Associated with It among Health Professionals at Debre Birhan Health Science College

Background: Competency assessment has a key role in the assurance of quality professionals in every discipline. Competency assessment is a method by which we can verify that our employees are competent to perform tasks timely. To derive the greatest benefit from the application of competency assessment in the health professionals, we must be sure that we are addressing areas where our efforts are utilized to optimize the patient care. There is no research done on the competency assessment so far except the report send by Technical Vocational and Educational Training. Objectives: To assess knowledge, attitude and practice of health professionals towards competency assessment and factors were associated with competencies at Debre Birhan Health Science College, 2013. Methods: A facility based cross sectional study was conducted using interview technique. Study participants were all students taking competency assessment in all departments at Debre Berhan Health Science College in two rounds. The percentage of participants who were competent was computed. Factors associated with competency were assessed using bivariate and multivariable logistic regression. Results: Among the total participants (n = 287), (57.8 percent) were female. Among the (n = 287) study participants, 226 (78.7%) were competent. Of these, 88.5% of the candidates were learned at governmental institution. Predictors of competency were department of the respondent AOR [95%];0.05 [0.01, 0.45], expectation of the results [AOR (95% CI) = 0.13 (0.02, 0.85)], number of competency taken [AOR (95% CI) = 0.11 (0.01, 0.88)] and candidates’ knowledge of their right and obligations AOR [95%];3.7 [1.3, 10.3]. Conclusions: Significant numbers of candidates were not yet competent due to various factors at different level. Therefore, comprehensive work should be done on the instructors, students and the center to make the candidates competent.

Work-related quality of life and performance appraisal among nurses at a tertiary hospital in Philippines

Objective:The objective of the study is to describe the work-related quality of life(WRQOL)among nurses and explore its association with performance evaluation ratings.Methods:A cross-sectional design was utilized measuring the WRQOL scale and the previous performance appraisal rating.Multistage sampling approach was utilized with nurses stratified based on their position and then systematically random sampled based on their unit assignment.Results:One hundred and eighty-two nurses were included.About half reported a high quality of work life(101;55.5%).Low scores were noted on the subscale working conditions(100;54.9%),low to average responses for home-work interface(109;59.9%),control at work(100;54.9%),and stress at work(90;49.5%).A higher proportion of nurses reported positive responses toward the areas of general well-being(113;62.1%)and job-career satisfaction(112;61.5%),than in the other subscales.There were notable differences between WRQOL ratings:(1)Head nurses had the highest perceived quality of work life,followed by nurse supervisors and charge nurses(F=6.1,P<0.01)and(2)Nurses in the pay-patient services reported lower quality of working life,while those in office and outpatient services had more positive scores(F=4.6,P<0.01).Conclusion:Only more than half of the nurses reported a high quality of work life,some of its dimensions,particularly job and career satisfaction and working conditions,appeared to vary in the perceived degree across years in service,work hours,and position.The assessment of the quality of work life may serve as an important tool to address staff burnout,absenteeism and other issues that affect job performance among health-care professionals.

构建基于导向型教师专业标准的教师教育质量保障体系——关于修订与实施《教师专业标准》的思考与建议

20世纪80年代末以来,在提高教育质量的诉求推动下,各国纷纷制定教师专业标准或素养框架。国际经验显示:教师专业标准能否实现预期的目的,首先取决于我们研制什么样的标准以及如何实施这些标准,标准的目的与功能定位、形式与结构、研制主体与方式、实施方式与配套体系等,都是影响标准有效性的重要因素。我国现行的《教师专业标准》存在功能定位缺乏精准指向,结构缺乏真正有效的层次区分以及实施缺乏有机配套体系等问题。今后应该基于导向优先、兼顾评价的功能定位修订《教师专业标准》;重视标准的修订过程与方式,促进标准的有效传播和实施;以《教师专业标准》为基点,构建教师教育质量保障体系。
