To objectively reflect the relevant situation of researches on think tank service of Chinese university libraries, this paper uses CNKI Database as the retrieval source, the bibliometric analysis method, and CiteSpace, a citation network analysis tool, to make quantitative analysis on the literature data of researches on the think tank service of university libraries;draw the knowledge map of literature authors, organization distribution, keyword co-occurrence, research hotspot distribution, etc.;objectively and comprehensively analyzes the hot topics and cutting-edge trends of researches on the think tank service of libraries, the research includes the following aspects: First, the status quo and orientation of the existing university library think tanks in China;second, it is recommended to carry out research on policy support and system guarantee for university library think tank services;third, integrate big data technology is merged into the construction of university libraries think tanks;fourth, the transformation of library and information institutions to new types of think tanks, including the transformation of knowledge services, disciplinary services, and characteristic think tanks, in order to provide reference for researches and practical work of think tank service of libraries in China.

Designing a Document Retrieval Method for University Digital Libraries Based on Hadoop Technology

With the development of big data,all walks of life in society have begun to venture into big data to serve their own enterprises and departments.Big data has been embraced by university digital libraries.The most cumbersome work for the management of university libraries is document retrieval.This article uses Hadoop algorithm to extract semantic keywords and then calculates semantic similarity based on the literature retrieval keyword calculation process.The fast-matching method is used to determine the weight of each keyword,so as to ensure an efficient and accurate document retrieval in digital libraries,thus completing the design of the document retrieval method for university digital libraries based on Hadoop technology.

Research on the Winter Thermal Comfort of Library's Atrium Reading Space in Harbin Universities

As a transition space,atrium not only organizes traffic,makes the flow line flexible,but also modulates the indoor micro-climate. Because of its good sense of space and lighting performance,designers generally set reading space around the atrium. But nowadays,people are more concerned with the external form of the architecture,rather than the thermal comfort conditions of the atrium reading space. This article chooses the universities' library atrium space of Harbin in typical city in cold regions as the carrier of research,testes the thermal environment of atrium reading space, analyzes the user 's subjective feelings of the thermal environment and establishes climate adaptation model applied to library buildings. This paper aims to study on Winter thermal comfort of universities' library atrium reading space in cold area. Bases on thermal comfort adaptive model,it establishes a reasonable heating methods and design temperature index of indoor thermal environment. Optimum comfort is obtained while achieving building energy efficiency and providing viewers a comfortable reading space.

The college students' response to customized information services based on Library2.0 technologies at universities in Nanjing

Through a questionnaire survey of students’ response from 6 universities in Nanjing, this paper aims to determine their varying degrees of satisfaction about the customized information service based on Library2.0 technologies. In so doing, the authors carefully examined the data collected from the returned questionnaires about such key issues as the students’ perceptions about the customized information service via a Library2.0platform, self-initiated use experience of such a mechanism, their achieved information searching results vis-à-vis their expectations, etc. In addition, the authors also made a comparative study between information providers(i.e. librarians) and information consumers(i.e. students) at Chinese and American academic libraries.

Activity-Based Costing of Library Services in Universities——A Case Study of a Private University

An organization’s costing system is a system that helps the management with the strategy planning while the system plays an important role in providing accurate cost information about the products and customers.In other words,the costing management system is important to provide timely and quality information to help managers in their decision-making process.Producing quality graduates is the main objective of any university and the cost of quality or the cost of poor quality is one that is often difficult to measure in higher education.This can be partly attributed to the fact that most accounting systems are not structured to capture important cost-of-quality information.In order to succeed,many organizations tend to shift from conventional or traditional costing system to Activity-based costing(ABC).ABC provides both higher education administrators and policymakers with better information on which to base decisions.The use of multiple cost pools and drivers under ABC leads to more detailed and accurate product costing than that provided by traditional cost systems.This paper attempts to investigate the possibilities and limitations of implementing ABC in universities.More specifically the study makes use of the case study method to illustrate the implementation of activity-based costing of library services in a private university in the Kingdom of Bahrain.The research methodology of the case study is a combination of both descriptive and quantitative analyses.The study identified six categories of cost pools which are related to the activities of the library as well as 17 relevant cost drivers.Accordingly,ABC should lead to a better understanding of what drives costs and,by extension,what changes are necessary to reduce costs.Unnecessary activities that do not add value to services can be identified and eliminated.Further ABC is feasible in an academic library and that much can be gained from the process of analyzing activities.However,more work needs to be done in terms of designing accounting and other information systems to capture cost and activity transaction data in a more routine and disaggregated form for ABC analysis.

Research on the Construction of Chinese Universities from Intelligent Library to Smart Library

The study aims to discuss the construction and development of university library,and transform the management and operation mode of university library,thereby realizing the transformation and upgrading to smart library.Taking Anhui University of Finance and Economics as the research object,first,based on the literature and data combined with questionnaire design and expert interview,data statistics was made on the development of smart library.Second,analytical hierarchy process(AHP)and big data analysis were applied to complete the construction of the smart library system.Third,based on the data analysis method,the problems in the construction of the smart library were discussed.The results showed that the Chinese smart library started late and developed rapidly after 2012;from information perception to smart service,the construction of smart library system had realized the transformation and upgrading of library construction;the key to solve the construction of smart library was to standardize library construction,realize resource co-construction and sharing,promote technological innovation,and strengthen the construction of smart librarians.To sum up,the construction of smart library is expected to make the library and librarians become the cooperative objects of teaching and scientific research in colleges and universities.

Abstract ： Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery Service is the major form for libraries to share resources.The librairies of universities or colleges can better guarantee the supply of document information ,accommodating to users＇ need for documents to the greatest extent.This article elaborates on the definition of Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery as well as their significance with a key focus on the Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery practice of Oriental Vocational and Technical College in Zhejiang, meanwhile it also puts forward some suggestions on how to better practisee the service of lnterlibrary Loan and Document Delivery.

“985”大学护理专业本科生低专业忠诚度研究

目的分析“985”大学护理专业本科生低专业忠诚度的成因。方法借助职业选择理论,基于对某“985”大学17名护理专业本科生的深度访谈及对“知乎”等相关网络平台虚拟民族志研究获得的资料进行主题分析。结果学生职业期望与护理职业现实不匹配是其低专业忠诚度的根本原因;护理专业学生社会关系网络中将其推离护理行业的因素始终明显多于将其留在这一行业者;为了转换专业,学生一方面在本科学习期间持续高强度地投资自身人力资本,同时也会从其社会关系网络中积极汲取社会资本等资源。结论低专业忠诚度问题目前难以避免,“985”大学有必要考虑适当减少护理专业本科招生规模,同时将重点放在专业性的研究生教育及在职培训上。

Development and construction of China's higher education libraries

Libraries in China's higher education institutions have been developing in keeping pace with the flourishing development of China's higher education. This article aims to make an introduction to the construction of China's higher education libraries, especially the recent three decades' achievements since China's reform and opening-up in 1978. In this article, the authors draw a general picture of the development of libraries in China's higher education institutions, covering such eight aspects as management, types and positioning,organizational structure and personnel, expenditure and buildings, reader service, building and sharing of resources as well as automation system.
