Objective: To understand the changing trajectory of quality of life(QOL) during the treatment courses of breast cancer patients during chemotherapy and to investigate the factors in each treatment course that affec...Objective: To understand the changing trajectory of quality of life(QOL) during the treatment courses of breast cancer patients during chemotherapy and to investigate the factors in each treatment course that affect QOL.Methods: The M.D. Anderson Symptom Inventory Scale, the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale(HADS), and the Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Breast(FACT-B) scale were used to perform a survey on 174 breast cancer patients who received the TAC(docetaxel, Adriamycin, and cyclophosphamide) chemotherapy regimen before postoperative chemotherapy and 5-7 days after each chemotherapy course.Results: The QOL scores of the breast cancer patients were the lowest before the postoperative chemotherapy(81.2 ± 19.6) and the highest after the second chemotherapy course(94.5 ± 14.4). After the fourth and fifth chemotherapy courses, the scores were much lower again, with values of 82.7 ± 13.9and 82.6 ± 13.1, respectively. The scores improved again after the sixth chemotherapy course(93.9 ± 18.7). Furthermore, each treatment course had different related symptoms that affected the QOL of the patients.Conclusions: More attention should be paid to the changing trajectory of QOL of patients in all treatment courses and to the influence of treatment-related symptoms on the QOL of patients; moreover, interventions should be adopted by medical care personnel to increase QOL in cancer patients.展开更多
Aiming at the complex corrosion degradation factors of reinforced concrete and clearing the deterioration mechanism in the constant stress state,a new type of constant current accelerated corrosion method in the salin...Aiming at the complex corrosion degradation factors of reinforced concrete and clearing the deterioration mechanism in the constant stress state,a new type of constant current accelerated corrosion method in the saline soil environment was developed.The three-dimensional paraffin isolation specimens and the three-dimensional penetration specimens were taken as the research objects,and the Cl−content and AC impedance Bode diagram were measured.The macro morphology and micro analysis were also used to evaluate the corrosion degradation laws of the two groups of specimens.A constant current three-factor system accelerated model was established for the current acceleration factor,chloride ion,and sulfate ion acceleration factor.The experimental results show that,in the constant stress test of the saline soil environmental conditions,the paraffin isolation layer can effectively isolate corrosive chloride ions,which is a brand-new research method of single factor variable control in the constant stress test.According to the basic corrosion data,the law of constant current acceleration test is summarized and divided into five corrosion degradation stages,and each stage has significant changes in the accelerated corrosion efficiency.The corrosion degradation of a constant stress test is the combined effect of constant current,positive and negative penetration of chloride ions and sulfate ions.展开更多

On the basis of an analysis of data from the Chinese Social Survey(CSS)2015,and with male social participation as the reference,we undertook an empirical study of Chinese women’s current social participation and the ...On the basis of an analysis of data from the Chinese Social Survey(CSS)2015,and with male social participation as the reference,we undertook an empirical study of Chinese women’s current social participation and the factors affecting it along the two dimensions of“marriage and family life”and“employment and income status,”as well as the basic characteristics of individuals.Our findings show that in general women display a lower level of social participation than men.In terms of type of social participation,women are more likely to take part in policy-supported activities or serve as volunteers for public interest activities but less likely to participate in the activities of particular“action organizations”or the expression of opinion.Women’s social participation is affected by many factors,including basic individual characteristics,marital status and family life,and employment and income status.A further gender comparison finds that female social participation tends to be more affected by marriage and family life,whereas male social participation is more closely related to employment and income status.We conclude that although more Chinese women have stepped out of the bonds of“home and family,”their social participation“outside the family”is family-bound in a way that is quite different that of men.Hence if we are to pursue gender equality at the level of social participation,it remains necessary to give women greater assurances in terms of marriage and family life by encouraging the realization of their self-worth and facilitating their social development,so as to coordinate and alleviate the double pressures of family and work,thus making women’s social participation an important force and enhancing their all-round development.展开更多
