It is planned to efficientl...In this study, an off grid wind-solar hybrid power generation system was established at Afyon Kocatepe University to meet the energy need of lighting system of three different laboratories. It is planned to efficiently use the energy obtained from the designed hybrid power generation system. For this purpose, PIC 16F877 was used in controlling of lighting load of laboratories. The off-grid wind-solar hybrid power generation system consists of 570 W 24 V mono crystal solar panels, 600 W wind power generation system and accumulator groups. The load control circuit made with PIC 16F877 is designed in a manner that will control the lighting armature groups individually activate and deactivate the armature groups according to intensity of illumination in environment. Besides, separately from generation and storing units constituting the hybrid power generation system, data in kWh are recorded by means of software in 10 seconds intervals. With the obtained power generation and storing data, analyzing of power consumption data when the load control system in active or passive position is made. According to analysis results, with controlling of lighting load and using of energy obtained from off grid wind-solar hybrid power generation system, 20.6% energy saving has been ensured.展开更多

In order to acquire the most energy-saving luminairedistribution-parameters(LDPs)of highway tunnel interior zone backlighting,the parameters optimization model(POM)of backlighting for tunnel interior zone was establis...In order to acquire the most energy-saving luminairedistribution-parameters(LDPs)of highway tunnel interior zone backlighting,the parameters optimization model(POM)of backlighting for tunnel interior zone was established.Yanlieshan tunnel of Jiujing highway was taken as an example for the optimization.The optimal LDPs of the backlighting system of the tunnel interior zone were obtained by the POM,a comparison between the optimization results and those of Yanlieshan tunnel’s actual lighting system was performed,which showed that the optimized backlighting system with LED lamps installed according to the optimized LDPs could save energy remarkablely even under full capacity lighting condition.Illuminance and illuminance uniformity of the tunnel road surface still met the lighting demands even the LED lamp’s luminance decreased by 30%.A backlighting simulation experiment with the optimized backlighting LDPs for Yanlieshan tunnel was accomplished in the software Dialux.The simulation results basically agreed with the optimization calculated results from the POM which proved the correctness of the backlighting POM.展开更多

However, vehicles pass with very low rate in specific periods of time and parts of the streets are not occupied by vehicles over time. In this paper, we propose a system that automatically switches off the light for the parts of the streets having no vehicles and turns on the light for these parts once there are some vehicles that are going to come. Logically, this system may save a large amount of the electrical power. In addition, it may increase the lifetime of the lamps and reduce the pollutions. This system automatically controls and monitors the light of the streets. It can light only the parts that have vehicles and help on the maintenance of the lighting equipments. Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks (VANET) make it possible to propose such system. VANET enables the possibility to know the presence of vehicles, their locations, their directions and their speeds in real time. These quantities are what are needed to develop this system. An advantage of using VANET is that there is no need to use specific network and equipments to design the system, but VANET infrastructure will be used. This decreases the cost and speed up the deployment of such system. This paper focuses on the proposal of different possible architectures of this system. Results show that the saved energy may reach up to 65% and an increase of the lifetime of the lamps of 53%.展开更多

In accordance with the climate conditions in northwest China, a set of intelligent control system for diversified environment of solar greenhouse was designed. The system divides the annual greenhouse control into six stages according to the optimal energy saving. It uses modern detection technology to collect the greenhouse environmental temperature, environmental humidity, soil humidity, CO_(2) concentration and illumination parameters under different working modes. It uses programmable logic control technology to realize the data processing of various parameters and the action control of rolling film, wet curtain fan and other actuators. It uses KingView monitoring software to realize the monitoring and manual control of greenhouse environment parameters. A bio-inspired method is adopted to avoid the visual glare which is caused by either direct illumination from large light sources or indirect illumination reflected by smooth surfaces. The algorithm we developed mimics the mechanisms of the endocrine and immune systems. The endocrine system transmits information entirely, whereas the immune system transmits information with a concentration gradient. A lighting control system using the proposed algorithm was evaluated in a simulation and experiment using a sensor agent robot. In this algorithm, a robot recognizes a person’s behavior and uses it to decide his or her preference as to the illuminance. It consists of an intelligence and human-machine interface level, a motion planning level, a motion control level and a servo control level. The last three levels form a local real-time open robot controller, which realizes motion planning and motion control of a robot. A camera calibration method based on the relative movement of the end-effector connected to a robot is proposed and a method for tracking weld seam based on the structured light stereovision is provided. Combining the parameters of the cameras and laser plane, three groups of position values in Cartesian space are obtained for each feature point in a stripe projected on the weld seam. The accurate three-dimensional position of the edge points in the weld seam can be calculated from the obtained parameters with an information fusion algorithm. By calculating the weld seam parameter from position and image data, the movement parameters of the robot used for tracking can be determined. A swing welding experiment of type V groove weld is successfully conducted, the results of which show that the system has high resolution seam tracking in real-time, and works stably and efficiently.展开更多

METHODS Patients were randomised to high definition white light endoscopy(HD-WLE) or the brigh...AIM To compare high definition white light endoscopy and bright narrow band imaging for colon polyps' detection rates. METHODS Patients were randomised to high definition white light endoscopy(HD-WLE) or the bright narrow band imaging(b NBI) during withdrawal of the colonoscope. Polyps identified in either mode were characterised using b NBI with dual focus(b NBI-DF) according to the Sano's classification. The primary outcome was to compare adenoma detection rates(ADRs) between the two arms. The secondary outcome was to assess the negative predictive value(NPV) in differentiating adenomas from hyperplastic polyps for diminutive rectosigmoid lesions.RESULTS A total of 1006 patients were randomised to HD-WLE(n = 511) or b NBI(n = 495). The mean of adenoma per patient was 1.62 and 1.84, respectively. The ADRs in b NBI and HD-WLE group were 37.4% and 39.3%, respectively. When adjusted for withdrawal time(OR = 1.19, 95%CI: 1.15-1.24, P < 0.001), the use of b NBI was associated with a reduced ADR(OR = 0.69, 95%CI: 0.52-0.92). Nine hundred and thirty three polyps(86%) in both arms were predicted with high confidence. The sensitivity(Sn), specificity(Sp), positive predictive value and NPV in differentiating adenomatous from non-adenomatous polyps of all sizes were 95.9%, 87.2%, 94.0% and 91.1% respectively. The NPV in differentiating an adenoma from hyperplastic polyp using b NBI-DF for diminutive rectal polyps was 91.0%.CONCLUSION ADRs did not differ between b NBI and HD-WLE, however HD-WLE had higher ADR after adjustment of withdrawal time. b NBI surpassed the PIVI threshold for diminutive polyps.展开更多

The system divides the annual greenhouse control into six stages according to the optimal energy saving. It uses modern detection technology to collect the greenhouse environmental temperature, environmental humidity, soil humidity, CO_(2) concentration and illumination parameters under different working modes. It uses programmable logic control technology to realize the data processing of various parameters and the action control of rolling film, wet curtain fan and other actuators. It uses KingView monitoring software to realize the monitoring and manual control of greenhouse environment parameters. The operation results indicate that the control system runs stably and basically meets the control requirements.

文摘This paper presents some human-inspired strategies for lighting control in a robot system for best scene interpretation,where the main intention is to avoid possible glares or highlights occurring in images. It firstly compares the characteristics of human eyes and robot eyes. Then some evaluation criteria are addressed to assess the lighting conditions. A bio-inspired method is adopted to avoid the visual glare which is caused by either direct illumination from large light sources or indirect illumination reflected by smooth surfaces. Appropriate methods are proposed to optimize the pose and optical parameters of the light source and the vision camera.
文摘In this study, “homeostasis”, the function by which living things keep their constancy, was emulated as a lighting control for a building space. The algorithm we developed mimics the mechanisms of the endocrine and immune systems. The endocrine system transmits information entirely, whereas the immune system transmits information with a concentration gradient. A lighting control system using the proposed algorithm was evaluated in a simulation and experiment using a sensor agent robot. In this algorithm, a robot recognizes a person’s behavior and uses it to decide his or her preference as to the illuminance. The results indicate that the algorithm can be used to realize a comfortable lighting control in several situations.

In the proposed smart lighting system, lights switch on automatically when there is somebody in the room or in the occupied space and switch off when there is no occupancy. In addition to this known technique, adjustment of the brightness level of the lights will be possible via the personal computer or any other smart device. In this method, for the illumination level in the area, where is needed to be controlled for better energy saving, </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">the </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">light automatically is measured by </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">the </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">sensor and considering the amount of background lights coming from outside, automatically the brightness of lights is controlled to reach the preset level that determined for that room. By the means of this method, it is possible to provide better user comfort, avoid human forcedness to switch the light on and off, and hence effective energy sav</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">ing</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">. Arduino controller is used to build the controller and to demonstrate the results. Economic analysis was done to calculate the percentage of the energy saving that can be obtained by implementing the proposed smart lighting controller. As an outcome </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">of </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">the economic analysis, energy saving norm for an office with </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">a </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">standard size was calculated.

LED, as a kind of device can convert electric power into visible light directly the homomorphism of semiconductor devices, with high efficiency and small energy consumption, good light quality, use safety, long service life, green environmental protection, flexible control as this is common lamps and lanterns is incomparable advantage. Therefore, it is considered to be 21 century of a new generation of lighting source. Based on the superiority of LED, it is widely applied in many fields of lighting. To enhance the traditional solar based pure LED system, we enhance it with the combination of the wind power and the optimized controller that holds specific meaning.

文摘In order to solve the complex wiring and low reliability of conventional light control system,an automobile contactless switch light system is designed combined with Hall element and controller area network (CAN) bus technology.The processing system of electromagnetic compatibility controlled by CAN bus is improved to reduce the electromagnetic interference from the controller and other sources of interference.With Freescale's high-performance single-chip MC9S08DZ60 and CAN transceiver TJA1050,the overall circuit design and software design are presented.The test results show that the designed light control system is feasible.

文摘A real-time arc welding robot visual control system based on a local network with a multi-level hierarchy is developed in this paper. It consists of an intelligence and human-machine interface level, a motion planning level, a motion control level and a servo control level. The last three levels form a local real-time open robot controller, which realizes motion planning and motion control of a robot. A camera calibration method based on the relative movement of the end-effector connected to a robot is proposed and a method for tracking weld seam based on the structured light stereovision is provided. Combining the parameters of the cameras and laser plane, three groups of position values in Cartesian space are obtained for each feature point in a stripe projected on the weld seam. The accurate three-dimensional position of the edge points in the weld seam can be calculated from the obtained parameters with an information fusion algorithm. By calculating the weld seam parameter from position and image data, the movement parameters of the robot used for tracking can be determined. A swing welding experiment of type V groove weld is successfully conducted, the results of which show that the system has high resolution seam tracking in real-time, and works stably and efficiently.

文摘AIM To compare high definition white light endoscopy and bright narrow band imaging for colon polyps' detection rates. METHODS Patients were randomised to high definition white light endoscopy(HD-WLE) or the bright narrow band imaging(b NBI) during withdrawal of the colonoscope. Polyps identified in either mode were characterised using b NBI with dual focus(b NBI-DF) according to the Sano's classification. The primary outcome was to compare adenoma detection rates(ADRs) between the two arms. The secondary outcome was to assess the negative predictive value(NPV) in differentiating adenomas from hyperplastic polyps for diminutive rectosigmoid lesions.RESULTS A total of 1006 patients were randomised to HD-WLE(n = 511) or b NBI(n = 495). The mean of adenoma per patient was 1.62 and 1.84, respectively. The ADRs in b NBI and HD-WLE group were 37.4% and 39.3%, respectively. When adjusted for withdrawal time(OR = 1.19, 95%CI: 1.15-1.24, P < 0.001), the use of b NBI was associated with a reduced ADR(OR = 0.69, 95%CI: 0.52-0.92). Nine hundred and thirty three polyps(86%) in both arms were predicted with high confidence. The sensitivity(Sn), specificity(Sp), positive predictive value and NPV in differentiating adenomatous from non-adenomatous polyps of all sizes were 95.9%, 87.2%, 94.0% and 91.1% respectively. The NPV in differentiating an adenoma from hyperplastic polyp using b NBI-DF for diminutive rectal polyps was 91.0%.CONCLUSION ADRs did not differ between b NBI and HD-WLE, however HD-WLE had higher ADR after adjustment of withdrawal time. b NBI surpassed the PIVI threshold for diminutive polyps.
