In combination with the related documents and actual experience in the project operation ,this paper analyzes the effect of limestone injection into furnace and desulfurization (LIFDS) on furnace slagging tendency, ...In combination with the related documents and actual experience in the project operation ,this paper analyzes the effect of limestone injection into furnace and desulfurization (LIFDS) on furnace slagging tendency, dust deposit speed of the heating surface, wearing, corrosion, boiler' s combustion conditions and combustion efficiency, secondary pollution, etc. Based on this situation, some countermeasures and suggestions were advanced so as to strengthen the boiler' s soot-blowing management, the operation of ash removal, supervision, inspection during the maintenance downtime, tracking management management. All these have a directive meaning to boilers' safety and analysis of boiler operation parameters, planned of coal quality and optimization of the operation and operation.展开更多

For a better understanding of carbonation behavi...Limestone powder is still applied as SO2 sorbent in emerging oxygen-fuel circulating fluidized bed boiler, but its carbonation in O2/CO2 flue gas is an unclear problem. For a better understanding of carbonation behaviors, the tube furnace heating system was built for simulating circulating fluidized bed boiler flue gas by regulating the supply of O, CO2, N2, SO2 and H2O, and Carbonation reaction was tested. Thermal gravimetric analysis and scanning electron microscopy were used. It was found that carbonation is closely related to temperature, CO2 concentration, impurities, water vapor, and cycle times;high temperature can promote carbonation process;high concentration of CO2 can inhibit the chemical reaction stage speed of carbonation process, but it has little effect on the final conversion rate;water vapor can increase the final conversion rate of carbonation;the cycle times will reduce the activity of carbonation. The presence of carbonation turns the traditional boiler flue gas indirect desulfurization model into indirect desulfurization mechanism which does not have a negative impact on SO2 removal efficiency.展开更多

Special attention w...SO2 release and removal were studied under both the air and oxy-fuel combustion conditions using an anthracite coal from the Jincheng mine in China on a bench-scale fluidized bed combustor (FBC). Special attention was paid to the effects of the combustion atmosphere, 02 concentration, bed temperature, and limestone addition. The released amount of SO2 was clearly higher under 30% 02/70% CO2 than that of the air atmosphere. As the O2 concentration in O2/CO2 mixture increased from 21% to 40%, the released amount of SO2 increased significantly, but then it decreased when the 02 concentration increased up to 50%. The bed temperature from 860 to 920 ℃ has no obvious influence on the the SO2 release but shows a strong influence on the desulfurization with limestone in both oxy-fuel and air conditions. The maximum SO2 removal efficiency appears to be at 880 to 900 ℃ for both the air and oxy-fuel combustion conditions.展开更多
