The Current Situation and Counter Measures of Compilation of English Literature Textbooks in the Context of New Liberal Arts

With the promulgation of the“National Quality Standards for Undergraduate Teaching of Foreign Languages and Literatures in General Institutions of Higher Education”and“Teaching Guidelines”in 2018,the humanistic attributes of English majors and the important position of literature in foreign language learning are emphasized.Nowadays,the English literature curriculum is facing the problems of marginalization,reduction of class hours,simplification of curriculum and so on.Then in the context of the new liberal arts,it provides a new way to break through the dilemma of the literature curriculum.The study has collected the use of teaching materials of British and American literature courses in some colleges and universities across the country.Based on the survey results,the compilation of teaching materials in the new era should consider how to adapt to students’deep learning,autonomous learning,cross learning and research-based learning to provide guidance and support.The diversity of learning requires us to break the monotony of textbook compilation,show diversity and complement each other.

Data-driven Discovery: A New Era of Exploiting the Literature and Data

In the current data-intensive era, the traditional hands-on method of conducting scientific research by exploring related publications to generate a testable hypothesis is well on its way of becoming obsolete within just a year or two. Analyzing the literature and data to automatically generate a hypothesis might become the de facto approach to inform the core research efforts of those trying to master the exponentially rapid expansion of publications and datasets. Here, viewpoints are provided and discussed to help the understanding of challenges of data-driven discovery.

文艺界发起“五四”文学革命运动后,为实施启蒙战略,着力创造以大众文学为主体的大众文艺。长期以来,受政治、经济、文化等条件限制,文艺界创造大众文艺的实绩不佳。1942年,毛泽东同志在延安文艺座谈会上阐明文艺新方向后,大众文艺升级为符合党的文艺观的、雅俗共赏的、具有现代性的人民文艺。人民文艺的主要特征是人民创造、为人民创造、属于人民。新时代,习近平总书记在文艺工作座谈会上讲话时,从社会历史发展的高度,面向文艺界吹响了创造人民文艺的号角。新时代创造人民文艺的原则是人民导向,途径是深入实际、扎根人民生活,站稳人民立场、用现代意识之光烛照人民的生活和心理结构,运用民族形式、表现人民的生活和思想感情。新时代创造人民文艺的意义是增强人民文化自信、丰富人民精神世界、升华大众文艺。

关于新时期美术教育和创作的思考

2022年,教育部颁布最新版的《研究生教育学科专业目录》,原来的“美术学”调整为“美术与书法”,这一调整引发全国各专业院校积极调整学科建设思路,思考人才培养的新模式。在美术教育和创作中至少有四点值得我们重视:一、研究经典、夯实基础;二、注重实践、艺理双修;三、扎根本土,创造精品;四、国际视野,文化传播。

自创生:媒介及新媒介文艺意义生成

“自创生”是用以描述系统自我生成性质的重要概念,“自创生系统”是能够自主生产、递归进化的系统。自创生理论以生成论为哲学基础,在去“本体”化的过程中建构了独特的“自体论”。按照自创生理论,媒介是典型的自创生系统。进入现代社会,媒介系统将物质性与技术性转化为自身的生产力,展现出更为强劲的自主性,并在进阶演化和更新迭代的螺旋式生成运动中表现出递归性以及人、物、媒介之间新的缔合关系。数字新媒介系统的自创生进入了“数智化”阶段,形成了以计算法则为主导的信息生产方式,也带来了新世界即赛博空间的涌现。新媒介的数智化自创生,建构了新媒介文艺意义生成的自创生性质。从自创生视角看,新媒介文艺实践不过是数字化的人类行动者与媒介性行动者在互动耦合过程中,联合其他生产要素共同开展的自创生性文艺意义生产活动。在这一过程中,媒介性与文艺性交叠衍生,数字文艺性也由此生成。

中国式现代化进程中新时期红色文艺的传承与创新

伴随着中国式现代化发展进程,新时期以来的红色文艺一方面传承着此前“经典”红色文艺中时代性、人民性、党的先进性等核心价值理念,一方面又在主题内容、形象塑造、表达方式、风格呈现等方面开创了审美新质。主题内容上紧跟中国式现代化的时代律动,脱贫攻坚、反腐倡廉、抗击疫情等主题拓展了传统“红色文艺”的革命题材边界。形象塑造上既有共产党人的先锋模范式英雄,也涌现出大量的平民化英雄。表达方式上从“个人记忆”的前设视角转化为“集体记忆”的后设视角,使作品具有更宏阔的视野和理论审视的色彩。风格呈现上更具有娱乐性和亲和力,更易打动人心,引起共鸣。尽管新时期以来的“红色文艺”在经典传承中有了诸多创新,但仍存在有待提升的空间,如红色内涵与人性规律、审美规律的契合问题,市场化与艺术化调和的问题等,这是在新的历史考验中需要直面回答的时代问题。

“人民文艺”中农民历史主体性的想象与构建

“人民文艺”是以农民为主体的文艺。毛泽东将原本被排斥于现代文艺活动之外的农民作为文艺活动的主要对象,彻底改变了中国的文艺生态和文化生态。如果从其启蒙对象即工农大众来说,“人的文学”没有实现其目标。“人的文学”未能完成的“启蒙农民”“改造农民”重任,最后由“人民文艺”逐步实现了。“人民文艺”使农民完成了观念上的转换与更新。要深刻理解“人民文艺”,首先要理解区别于资产阶级现代性文化的无产阶级新文化,即新民主主义文化和社会主义文化。在新民主主义阶段,无产阶级新文化强调的是反帝反封建;到了社会主义阶段,则将“资产阶级文化”与“封建文化”一道作为批判和否定的对象。此时,“人民文艺”更突出革命农民对“无产阶级意识”的接受过程;“人民文艺”赋予了农民以新的“人民”品性,塑造具有无产阶级意识的“社会主义新农民”形象,成为其重要职责。

随着数智时代的发展,哲学社会科学与自然科学、工程技术的交叉融合成为必然趋势,这种融合不仅拓宽了文科的研究领域,还使文科教育更加符合现代社会的需求。新文科正是在这种背景下应运而生,它强调打破学科壁垒,推动文科与其他学科的深度融合,形成具有中国特色的交叉学科和交叉专业。文章从数智时代背景下探讨新文科的建设路径,从明确目标定位、加强学科交叉融合、创新教学模式和方法、加强师资队伍建设、推动产学研用一体化以及强化价值引领和人文关怀等多个方面入手,以推动新文科的深入发展,积极适应数智时代的需求和挑战。

新主流文艺的新情感与新叙事——以电影《战狼Ⅱ》《流浪地球》为例

本文以近年来两部重要的电影作品《战狼Ⅱ》《流浪地球》为例,来说明新主流文艺如何传达出与当代观众有着强烈共鸣的新的主流价值观。本文指出,新主流文艺最为独特之处,是创作者不断在影视等大众文化作品中,以新的叙事方式去表达属于当代中国的新情感。本文认为,中国的新主流文艺之所以能够在艺术上取得重要突破,既在于中国长久的现实主义文艺思想构成的强大理论基础;也在于中国的创作者们,扎根于当下中国的发展状况与中国人的情感世界,不断尝试以现实主义为出发点,吸收传统中国的艺术感觉,去创造属于当代中国的新艺术表达。

新文科建设背景下比较文学的边界、跨界与界域融合

当今学界对新文科的讨论方兴未艾,目前学界的讨论大多集中在对新文科提出的背景、要义及具体展开路径等方面,总体说来略显宽泛,与具体学科的深度融合明显乏力。在新文科建设背景下,当代比较文学研究出现了跨界融合的新特点,在学科内部呈现出与翻译学、伦理学、地理学、生态学、法律学、植物学等学科的交叉融合,这无疑拓展了比较文学的研究边界并丰富了当代比较文学的研究领域,也形成了新的学术创新生长点。从新文科视域重新审视比较文学学科,发现其与其他学科领域的交叉和融合已经成为当代比较文学的重要特色。一些新的命题、研究领域的出现,拓展了比较文学学科原有的学科边界并形成学科内部及外部的深度融合。同时,一些新兴的研究范式开始呈现,如借助地理信息系统和全球定位系统等促使文学与地理之间的跨学科融合,利用大型数据库对传统文论的重要概念和流传路径进行深入研究,在中外卷帙浩繁的文献中厘清术语的渊源及跨国流传与变异研究等。在新文科建设背景下,比较文学的传统边界发生了变化,在研究方法、内容与范畴上形成了新的跨界研究及界域融合的特点。
