A Brief Analysis of African American Vernacular English(AAVE)-A Case Study of an AAVE Hip-Pop Song "Live Your Life"

This paper tries to analyse the linguistic feafures of AAVE with a case study of a typical and popular AAVE hip-pop"Live your life"song sang by T.I.and Rihanna.And it also briefly analyses the potential social reasons that may contribute to the particular linguistic features of AAVE which is different from those of Standard American English.

OECD生活质量指数统计方法与评价研究

本文介绍了经济合作与发展组织(OECD)探索和研发的生活质量指数(YBLI),包括其构建背景、研究意义、指标体系以及测算方法;利用OECD公布的其成员国生活质量指数得分数据,深入研究了OECD成员国生活质量指数、物质生活条件指数和生活品质指数的统计特征,以及三者与人均国民总收入的关系。结论表明:物质生活条件指数随收入的上升而提高,但生活质量指数和生活品质指数随收入上升的趋势却呈非线性特征,存在显著的门槛效应。该研究的目的是为了探索较GDP更好的测算社会进步的方法,推动统计报表制度改革与创新。
