First, a linear model for the optimal operation of the HESS is established, which considers the different power-efficiency characteristics of the pumped storage system, electrochemical storage system, and a new type of liquid compressed air energy storage. Second, a TSOS simulation model for peak shaving is built to maximize the power entering the grid from the wind farms and HESS. Based on the proposed model, this study considers the transmission capacity of a TG. By adding the power-flow constraints of the TG, a TSOS-based HESS and TG combination model for peak shaving is established. Finally, the improved IEEE-39 and IEEE-118 bus systems were considered as examples to verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed model.展开更多

The discharge performances and kinetics parameters including capacity, exchange current density, symmetry factor and hydrogen diffusion coefficient of the alloy at -40degreesC, were tested in standard tri-electrode cell. And linear regression method was used to analyze the effect of rare earth compositions on the performances of hydrogen storage alloys. The results show that the capacities of the alloys are positively correlative to the square of Ce content at -40degreesC and under both 0.4 and 0.2C rate. The kinetics parameters and hydrogen diffusion coefficient indicate that the low-temperature performances of the alloys are mainly controlled by hydrogen diffusion process, and the surface electrochemical reaction affects the low-temperature performances to a certain extent. The low-temperature discharge capacities of the battery were also tested. The results show excellent low-temperature performances. The battery delivers 69.6% of its room-temperature capacity at -40degreesC and 0.2C rate, 77.7% at -40degreesC and 0.4C rate, 59.1% at -45degreesC and 0.2C rate.展开更多

[Method] The fruits of Xinli NO.7 were picked up in August (optimal) and September respectively and then stored in room, cellar and freezer, respectively. The dynamics in temperature, humidity, CO2 concentration, fruit weight loss rate, pericarp chlorophyll content and fruit interior quality were determined. [Result] The environment differed significantly among different storage methods. In room and cellar, the temperature showed a downward trend, and the humidity decreased after early-mid October. The CO2 concentration changed steadily, and increased rapidly in cellar after December. In freezer, the temperature and humidity changed steadily, and the CO2 concentration increased after October. The changes in quality of the fruits harvested in August and September were similar. There was a certain correlation between storage environment and fruit quality of Xinli No.7. In room and cellar, the variation trends of tem- perature and humidity were consistent with those of chlorophyll content, fruit hardness and titratable acid content with positive correlations, but were opposite from those of fruit weight loss rate, soluble solids content and soluble sugar content with negative correlations. In freezer, the CO2 concentration was closely related to the changes in fruit quality. Its variation trend was consistent with those of fruit weight loss rate and soluble solids content, but was opposite from those of pericarp chlorophyll content, fruit firmness, soluble sugar content and titratable acid content. The differences in some of the traits reached significant levels (P〈0.05, P〈0.01). [Conclusion] With the extension of storage time, the temperature, humidity and CO2 concentration changed according to different patterns among different storage methods. The changes in fruit quality of Xinli NO.7 were related to the storage environment, especially to the temperature, to a certain extent.展开更多

The contents of N, P, K, and organic matter in biogas slurry of straw were determined in different storage times. The results showed that: during the pro-cess of biogas slurry storage, little change occurred in the content of the organic matter while the total content of N, P, K significantly declined; up to 50 days, the total content of N, P, K reduced to nearly 80%-90%. In this paper, the seismic response ofunanchored steel liquid storage tanks is investigated using the endurance time (ET) dynamic analysis procedure and compared to responses obtained for anchored tanks under actual ground motions and intensifying ET records. In most cases, the results from ground motions are properly obtained with negligible differences using ET records. It is observed that uplifting of the tank base, which is closely related to the tank aspect ratio, has the greatest significance in the responses of the tank and can be predicted with reasonable accuracy by using currently available ET records.展开更多

A potential high-resolution method for the aforementioned purpose lies in the full-waveform inversion(FWI) of time-lapse seismic data. However, practical applications of FWI are severely restricted by the well-known cycle-skipping problem. A new time-lapse FWI method using cross-correlation-based dynamic time warping(CDTW) is proposed to detect changes in the subsurface property due to carbon dioxide(CO_(2)) injection and address the aforementioned issue. The proposed method, namely CDTW, which combines the advantages of cross-correlation and dynamic time warping, is employed in the automatic estimation of the discrepancy between the seismic signals simulated using the baseline/initial model and those acquired. The proposed FWI method can then back-project the estimated discrepancy to the subsurface space domain, thereby facilitating retrieval of the induced subsurface property change by taking the difference between the inverted baseline and monitor models. Numerical results on pairs of signals prove that CDTW can obtain reliable shifts under amplitude modulation and noise contamination conditions. The performance of CDTW substantially outperforms that of the conventional dynamic time warping method. The proposed time-lapse fullwaveform inversion(FWI) method is applied to the Frio-2 CO_(2) storage model. The baseline and monitor models are inverted from the corresponding time-lapse seismic data. The changes in velocity due to CO_(2) injection are reconstructed by the difference between the baseline and the monitor models.展开更多

Such properties as water content and density were found to increase at the rates of 5 ppm and 14 kg/m3 per week respectively. These rates translate into property values which compare closely with the standard properties of fossil-diesel and properties of quality biodiesel. As a result, the jatropha biodiesel can be used as alternative fuel to fossil-diesel in compression ignition engines within 8 weeks of its production. However, the calorific value and flash point of the biodiesel decreased at the rate of 1.4℃ and 2.5 MJ/kg per week respectively. Although the flash point was within the acceptable level for quality biodiesel, the calorific values were abnormally higher than the values for quality biodiesel of about 38.7 MJ/kg. With the exception of the calorific values, the other properties were not reasonably affected.展开更多

文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to explore the dynamic changes of volatile flavor compounds in prepared pork during storage at different low-temperature conditions.[Methods]Prepared pork was stored at 4,-4 and-18℃.The volatile flavor compounds of prepared pork were determined by solid-phase microextraction-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(SPME-GC-MS)at days 0,7,14,21 and 28,and relative odor activity value(OAV),principal component analysis(PCA)and cluster analysis(CA)were combined to analyze changes in volatile flavor compounds of prepared pork during storage.[Results]The total number of volatile flavor compounds gradually decreased with the prolongation of the storage period, and OAV analysis identified 22 key flavor compounds(OAV≥1).The results of PCA and CA showed that 2-methyl-1-butanol,1-octen-3-ol,linalool,cineole,hexanal and nonanal were the main key flavor components, and the degree of flavor degradation was low under both superchilling and freezing conditions. After 28 days of storage, the alcohol content in the chilling group was significantly higher than other two groups, and the overall content of volatile flavor compounds was also significantly higher than other two groups, indicating that the-4℃chilling storage was more favorable for maintaining the overall flavor of prepared pork.[Conclusions]This study provides a theoretical basis for finding a better storage method for prepared meat products.

文摘The rapid development of capacitors with high energy density and efficiency has been driven by advanced electronic systems and innovative pulsed power applications. In this study,we prepared Sr_(4.5−x)Ba_(x)Sm_(0.5)Zr_(0.5)Nb_(9.5)O_(30)(x=2.5,3,3.5,4,4.5)dielectric ceramics, which exhibited structural distortion due to the co-occupation of Ba^(2+),Sr^(2+),and Sm^(3+)in the A-site and the partial substitution of Nb^(5+)by Zr^(4+)in the B-site.The ordered/disordered distribution due to these distortions thus generated polar nanoregions(PNRs)and induced a relaxation ferroelectric behavior, which was verified by the high-resolution transmission electron microscopy.Through the use of the Vogel–Fulcher and Maxwell–Boltzmann equations,we found that easy inversion and small dipole sizes are crucial for achieving high energy storage density and efficiency. The Sr_(4.5−x)Ba_(x)Sm_(0.5)Zr_(0.5)Nb_(9.5)O_(30)(x=3.5)dielectric ceramic displayed a ferroelectric/paraelectric transition near room temperature.Subsequent ferroelectric testing revealed large energy storage density(Wrec=4.31 J·cm^(−3))and high efficiency(η=93.8%)at 310 kV·cm−1.Furthermore,Sr_(4.5−x)Ba_(x)Sm_(0.5)Zr_(0.5)Nb_(9.5)O_(30)(x=4.5)exhibited higher breakdown field strength due to its large resistivity and small grain size. This led to energy storage density of approximately 5.3 J·cm^(−3)at 460 kV·cm^(−1).Additionally,Sr_(4.5−x)Ba_(x)Sm_(0.5)Zr_(0.5)Nb_(9.5)O_(30)(x=3.5)demonstrated current density(CD)of approximately 713.38 A·cm^(−2)and power density(PD)of approximately 87.51 MW·cm^(−3),with ultrafast discharge time of 34 ns and excellent discharge energy density(Wdis)of approximately 2.27 J·cm^(−3).Overall,this study presents a promising approach for developing dielectric ceramic materials that hold potential for applications in innovative pulsed power components.

文摘The economic operation of integrated energy system(IES)faces new challenges such as multi-timescale characteristics of heterogeneous energy sources, and cooperative operation of hybrid energy storage system(HESS).To this end, this paper investigates the multi-timescale rolling opti-mization problem for IES integrated with HESS.Firstly, the architecture of IES with HESS is established,a comparative analysis is conducted to evaluate the advantages of the HESS over a single energy storage system(SESS)in stabilizing power fluctuations.Secondly, the dayahead and real-time scheduling cost functions of IES are established, the day-ahead scheduling mainly depends on operation costs of the components in IES,the real-time optimal scheduling adopts the Lya-punov optimization method to schedule the battery and hydrogen energy storage in each time slot,so as to minimize the real-time average scheduling operation cost, and the problem of day-ahead and real-time scheduling error, which caused by the uncertainty of the energy storage is solved by online optimization. Finally, the proposed model is verified to reduce the scheduling operation cost and the dispatching error by performing an arithmetic example analysis of the IES in Shanghai, which provides a reference for the safe and stable operation of the IES.

文摘Several promising plasma biomarker proteins, such as amyloid-β(Aβ),tau,neurofilament light chain, and glial fibrillary acidic protein, are widely used for the diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases. However, little is known about the long-term stability of these biomarker proteins in plasma samples stored at-80°C.We aimed to explore how storage time would affect the diagnostic accuracy of these biomarkers using a large cohort.Plasma samples from 229 cognitively unimpaired individuals, encompassing healthy controls and those experiencing subjective cognitive decline,as well as 99 patients with cognitive impairment, comprising those with mild cognitive impairment and dementia, were acquired from the Sino Longitudinal Study on Cognitive Decline project. These samples were stored at-80°C for up to 6 years before being used in this study. Our results showed that plasma levels of Aβ42,Aβ40,neurofilament light chain, and glial fibrillary acidic protein were not significantly correlated with sample storage time. However, the level of total tau showed a negative correlation with sample storage time.Notably,in individuals without cognitive impairment, plasma levels of total protein and tau phosphorylated protein threonine 181(p-tau181)also showed a negative correlation with sample storage time. This was not observed in individuals with cognitive impairment.Consequently,we speculate that the diagnostic accuracy of plasma p-tau181 and the p-tau181 to total tau ratio may be influenced by sample storage time. Therefore, caution is advised when using these plasma biomarkers for the identification of neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease.Furthermore,in cohort studies,it is important to consider the impact of storage time on the overall results.

文摘Exploiting high-performance yet low-cost hard carbon anodes is crucial to advancing the state-of-the-art sodium-ion batteries. However, the achievement of superior initial Coulombic efficiency(ICE)and high Na-storage capacity via low-temperature carbonization remains challenging due to the presence of tremendous defects with few closed pores. Here,a facile hybrid carbon framework design is proposed from the polystyrene precursor bearing distinct molecular bridges at a low pyrolysis temperature of 800℃ via in situ fusion and embedding strategy. This is realized by integrating triazine-and carbonylcrosslinked polystyrene nanospheres during carbonization. The triazine crosslinking allows in situ fusion of spheres into layered carbon with low defects and abundant closed pores, which serves as a matrix for embedding the well-retained carbon spheres with nanopores/defects derived from carbonyl crosslinking. Therefore, the hybrid hard carbon with intimate interface showcases synergistic Na ions storage behavior, showing an ICE of 70.2%,a high capacity of 279.3 mAh g^(-1),and long-term 500 cycles, superior to carbons from the respective precursor and other reported carbons fabricated under the low carbonization temperature. The present protocol opens new avenues toward low-cost hard carbon anode materials for high-performance sodiumion batteries.
文摘This study is focused on the simulation and optimization of packed-bed solar thermal energy storage by using sand as a storage material and hot-water is used as a heat transfer fluid and storage as well. The analysis has been done by using the COMSOL multi-physics software and used to compute an optimization charging time of the storage.Parameters that control this optimization are storage height, storage diameter, heat transfer fluid flow rate, and sand bed particle size. The result of COMSOL multi-physics optimized thermal storage has been validated with Taguchi method.Accordingly, the optimized parameters of storage are:storage height of 1.4m,storage diameter of 0.4 m,flow rate of 0.02 kg/s,and sand particle size 12 mm.Among these parameters, the storage diameter result is the highest influenced optimized parameter of the thermal storage fromthe ANOVA analysis. For nominal packed bed thermal storage, the charging time needed to attain about 520 K temperature is more than 3500 s,while it needs only about 2000 s for the optimized storage which is very significant difference.Average charging energy efficiency of the optimized is greater than the nominal and previous concrete-based storage by 13.7%,and 13.1%,respectively in the charging time of 2700 s.

文摘This study proposes a combined hybrid energy storage system(HESS) and transmission grid(TG) model, and a corresponding time series operation simulation(TSOS) model is established to relieve the peak-shaving pressure of power systems under the integration of renewable energy. Finally, the improved IEEE-39 and IEEE-118 bus systems were considered as examples to verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed model.

文摘Rare earth compositions, La, Ce and Pr in Mm(NiCoMnAl)(5) hydrogen storage alloy, were arranged by uniform design method. The battery delivers 69.6% of its room-temperature capacity at -40degreesC and 0.2C rate, 77.7% at -40degreesC and 0.4C rate, 59.1% at -45degreesC and 0.2C rate.
文摘[Objective] This study aimed to study the effects of different picking time and storage environment on fruit quality of a pear cultivar Xinlin No.7 and the relationship between storage environment and fruit quality, so as to provide a theoretical basis for storage and preservation of Xinli No.7. The changes in fruit quality of Xinli NO.7 were related to the storage environment, especially to the temperature, to a certain extent.

文摘In order to evaluate the efficiency of the automated storage/retrieval system(AS/RS)accurately,and compare different layouts of the AS/RS using mean travel time, under randomized storage conditions,an exact,geometry-based analytical model is presented. The model can be used to compute the expected single-command and dual-command travel time for a storage/retrieval(S/R)machine which can travel simultaneously horizontally and vertically as it moves along a storage aisle. The rack may be either square in time or non square in time.Additionally, the alternative layouts of the AS/RS and travel-time models are examined.Comparing with setting the I/O point at the left-lower corner of the rack, setting the I/O point at any point at the vertical edge can help enhance the efficiency of the AS/RS.

文摘To study the effects of different storage methods and time on content of nutrients in biogas slurry of straw, two storage methods were carried out on biogas slurry between open storage and airtight storage conditions at normal atmospheric temperature. Because the contents of N, P, K in biogas slurry reduced less in airtight storage conditions so that a better re-sult was found on airtight storage methods than open storage methods in fertilizer field of biogas slurry of straw.

文摘As lithium(Li)-ion batteries expand their applications, operating over a wide temperature range becomes increasingly important. However, the lowtemperature performance of conventional graphite anodes is severely hampered by the poor diffusion kinetics of Li ions(Li^(+)).Here, zinc oxide(ZnO) nanoparticles are incorporated into the expanded graphite to improve Li^(+)diffusion kinetics, resulting in a significant improvement in lowtemperature performance. The ZnO-embedded expanded graphite anodes are investigated with different amounts of ZnO to establish the structurecharge storage mechanism-performance relationship with a focus on lowtemperature applications.Electrochemical analysis reveals that the ZnOembedded expanded graphite anode with nano-sized ZnO maintains a large portion of the diffusion-controlled charge storage mechanism at an ultra-low temperature of-50℃ Due to this significantly enhanced Li^(+)diffusion rate,a full cell with the ZnO-embedded expanded graphite anode and a LiNi_(0.88)Co_(0.09)Al_(0.03)O_(2)cathode delivers high capacities of 176 mAh g^(-1)at20℃ and 86 mAh g^(-1)at-50℃ at a high rate of 1 C.The outstanding low-temperature performance of the composite anode by improving the Li^(+)diffusion kinetics provides important scientific insights into the fundamental design principles of anodes for low-temperature Li-ion battery operation.
文摘Liquid storage tanks are essential structures that are often located in residential and industrial areas; thus an assessment of their seismic performance is an important engineering issue. It is observed that uplifting of the tank base, which is closely related to the tank aspect ratio, has the greatest significance in the responses of the tank and can be predicted with reasonable accuracy by using currently available ET records.

文摘In this paper, the effects of storage time on the external and internal characteristics of lutein enriched eggs were studied. A total of 330 lutein eggs were stored at room temperature (30℃) for periods of 0, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19 and 21 d, respectively. At the end of each storage period, 30 lutein eggs were evaluated for egg quality. Storage time from 0 d to 21 d did not affect the eggshell thickness, shell ratio and yolk color (P 〉 0.05). The effect of days in storage was statistically significant on the albumen ratio and Haugh unit (P 〈 0.05), both of which decreased with increasing days of storage. Conversely, egg water loss and the yolk ratio increased with increasing days of storage (P 〈 0.05). At the end of storage, the lutein value in the eggs was close to the value at the beginning of storage. The results indicated that storage time did not produce an adverse effect on the eggshell thickness, shell ratio, yolk color and concentration of lutein in lutein enriched eggs.
文摘Offshore carbon capture, utilization, and storage(OCCUS) is regarded as a crucial technology for mitigating greenhouse gas emissions.Quantitative monitoring maps of sealed carbon dioxide are necessary in a comprehensive OCCUS project. The changes in velocity due to CO_(2) injection are reconstructed by the difference between the baseline and the monitor models.
文摘Effects of storage time on some properties of jatropha biodiesel were investigated over the storage time of 0 to 8 weeks at the temperature of 25℃. With the exception of the calorific values, the other properties were not reasonably affected.
