This approach makes it possible to devise techniques for solving the Lagrange Maxwell equations in differences which correspond to mechanico-electrical systems,by adapting existing differential equations.In particular,it obtains a new systematic method to determine both the one-parameter Lie groups and the discrete Noether conserved quantities of Lie point symmetries for mechanico-electrical systems.As an application,it obtains the Lie point symmetries and the conserved quantities for the difference equation of a model that represents a capacitor microphone.展开更多

Background Ears play an important role in facial profiles.Lying ears are not perceived favorably in Asian cultures;therefore,surgical procedures are implemented to adjust this defect.However,surgery has complications ...Background Ears play an important role in facial profiles.Lying ears are not perceived favorably in Asian cultures;therefore,surgical procedures are implemented to adjust this defect.However,surgery has complications and requires recovery time.We introduced a hyaluronic acid(HA)injection technique to aesthetically improve ear prominence.Methods This retrospective study examined 25 Chinese patients aged 20-47 years with congenital lying ears who received HA injections in the auricular base at Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital and Hangzhou Yijie Medical Cosmetology Clinic between November 2019 and December 2022.The average injection volume was 6.32±1.22 mL in the auricular base unilaterally,and the follow-up time ranged from 6 to 24 months.Morphological measurement data were recorded.Two-dimensional(2D)and three-dimensional(3D)images were obtained to evaluate the effects.Results All patients showed improvements in ear prominence.The cranioauricular angle(CAA)increased from 22.24°±4.53°to 65.90°±5.38°immediately post-injection and was maintained at 49.18°±4.74°6 months later.The ear projection(EP)increased from 14.75±2.72 mm to 26.26±2.94 mm immediately post-injection and was 22.51±2.68 mm after 6 months.No serious complications were noted.Conclusion HA injection in the auricular base effectively corrected the lying ears and aesthetically optimized the facial profile.It also had a face-lift effect that made the face look younger and more compact.The injection procedure was minimally invasive and required no recovery period.The effect was maintained for a long time and was satisfactory.展开更多

Objective:To examine the effect of upright and ambulant positions versus lying down during the active first stage of labor on birth outcomes for nulliparous women.Methods:This is a randomized controlled clinical trial...Objective:To examine the effect of upright and ambulant positions versus lying down during the active first stage of labor on birth outcomes for nulliparous women.Methods:This is a randomized controlled clinical trial conducted at the delivery department of Damanhour Educational Institute,El Behira Governorate,Egypt.The study sample involved 150 parturient women equally divided into intervention and control groups using randomization block technique.The researchers used four tools for data collection:Demographic data interview schedule,World Health Organization Partograph,Apgar’s score,to evaluate neonatal outcomes,and visual analogue pain intensity scale.For the study group,the parturient women were encouraged to assume one of the upright positions or ambulating around the bed so as to maintain the pelvis in vertical plane as far as possible for 20-25 min for every 1 h.The control group received routine hospital care,which includes lying down in bed.IBM SPSS 23.0 was used to analyze the data.Results:Significant differences(P<0.05)were observed between the study and control groups in relation to cervical dilation,fetal head descent,uterine contractions interval,and frequency.The duration of the first stage of labor significantly reduced(P=0.018)in the intervention group compared with control group.No significant differences(P>0.05)were observed between both groups in term of emergency cesarean birth rates,oxytocin use,and neonatal outcomes.Conclusions:This study proves that upright and ambulant positions significantly enhance uterine contractility,cervical dilatation,and fetal head descent and reduce the first stage duration.展开更多

Lying flat(Tang Ping)is a prevalent way of life in contemporary countries throughout the world.It is an avoidance behavior chosen by individuals in response to limited social resources and ongoing harsh social competi...Lying flat(Tang Ping)is a prevalent way of life in contemporary countries throughout the world.It is an avoidance behavior chosen by individuals in response to limited social resources and ongoing harsh social competition.Previous studies have demonstrated that the phenomena of“lying flat”has a major negative effect on student learning.In order to investigate the impact of educational innovation on the phenomenon of“lying flat”,we will observe students’learning behaviors under the traditional education model and innovative teaching methods in our Bali teaching practice to determine the causes of“lying flat”and the means to improve educational innovation.The study found that“lying flat”is caused not just by students’discontent with their level difference,but also by the conflict between external resources and internal pressure.In addition,educational reforms on three levels,including further stratified education,strengthening teacher education and promoting effective communication between students and teachers,and employing online resources to promote students’interest in learning,can ameliorate the phenomenon of pupils“lying flat”.This study contends that educational innovation can have a positive effect on the phenomena of“lying flat”.展开更多

Deception detection is regarded as a concern for everyone in their daily lives and affects social interactions.The human face is a rich source of data that offers trustworthy markers of deception.The deception or lie ...Deception detection is regarded as a concern for everyone in their daily lives and affects social interactions.The human face is a rich source of data that offers trustworthy markers of deception.The deception or lie detection systems are non-intrusive,cost-effective,and mobile by identifying facial expressions.Over the last decade,numerous studies have been conducted on deception detection using several advanced techniques.Researchers have focused their attention on inventing more effective and efficient solutions for the detection of deception.So,it could be challenging to spot trends,practical approaches,gaps,and chances for contribution.However,there are still a lot of opportunities for innovative deception detection methods.Therefore,we used a variety of machine learning(ML)and deep learning(DL)approaches to experiment with this work.This research aims to do the following:(i)review and analyze the current lie detection(LD)systems;(ii)create a dataset;(iii)use several ML and DL techniques to identify lying;and(iv)create a hybrid model known as LDNet.By combining layers from Vgg16 and DeneseNet121,LDNet was developed and offered the best accuracy(99.50%)of all the models.Our developed hybrid model is a great addition that significantly advances the study of LD.The findings from this research endeavor are expected to advance our understanding of the effectiveness of ML and DL techniques in LD.Furthermore,it has significant practical applications in diverse domains such as security,law enforcement,border control,organizations,and investigation cases where accurate lie detection is paramount.展开更多

文摘This is a survey of local and global classification results concerning Dupin hypersurfaces in S^(n)(or R^(n))that have been obtained in the context of Lie sphere geometry.The emphasis is on results that relate Dupin hypersurfaces to isoparametric hypersurfaces in spheres.Along with these classification results,many important concepts from Lie sphere geometry,such as curvature spheres,Lie curvatures,and Legendre lifts of submanifolds of S^(n)(or R^(n)),are described in detail.The paper also contains several important constructions of Dupin hypersurfaces with certain special properties.

文摘Radiotherapy is widely used for the definitive and adjuvant treatment of numerous cancers[1].However,resistance to radiotherapy remains an important concern[2].Various factors including p53 mutation or deletion[3],overexpression of DNA repair proteins[4],and tumor microenvironment[5]have been proposed to play roles in radioresistance.Among the radioresistant factors,p53 mutation or deletion is regarded as a good candidate for radioresistant markers[6].The tumor suppressor p53 is well established as the guardian of the genome,regulating cell cycle arrest,DNA repair,senescence,and apoptosis[7].Mutation of p53 occurs in more than 50%of human cancers,which significantly increases cellular resistance to-irradiation[8].Additionally,there is growing evidence that mutation or deletion of p53 tumors cells is inherently resistant to radiation and perhaps other conventional anticancer treatments,i.e.,chemotherapy[9].This intrinsic mechanism of resistance is responsible for a significant number of tumor recurrences[10].

文摘Deception detection is regarded as a concern for everyone in their daily lives and affects social interactions.The human face is a rich source of data that offers trustworthy markers of deception.The deception or lie detection systems are non-intrusive,cost-effective,and mobile by identifying facial expressions.Over the last decade,numerous studies have been conducted on deception detection using several advanced techniques.Researchers have focused their attention on inventing more effective and efficient solutions for the detection of deception.So,it could be challenging to spot trends,practical approaches,gaps,and chances for contribution.However,there are still a lot of opportunities for innovative deception detection methods.Therefore,we used a variety of machine learning(ML)and deep learning(DL)approaches to experiment with this work.This research aims to do the following:(i)review and analyze the current lie detection(LD)systems;(ii)create a dataset;(iii)use several ML and DL techniques to identify lying;and(iv)create a hybrid model known as LDNet.By combining layers from Vgg16 and DeneseNet121,LDNet was developed and offered the best accuracy(99.50%)of all the models.Our developed hybrid model is a great addition that significantly advances the study of LD.The findings from this research endeavor are expected to advance our understanding of the effectiveness of ML and DL techniques in LD.Furthermore,it has significant practical applications in diverse domains such as security,law enforcement,border control,organizations,and investigation cases where accurate lie detection is paramount.
