But their interpretation and theoretical study took a long time. The theoretical research on electricity began with the discovery of Coulomb’s law in 1785, while the theoretical research on magnetism began with the discovery of Oersted’s Law in 1820. From the 1850s to the 1870s, Maxwell summarized a set of theoretical equations for electromagnetism based on some laws of predecessors. However, this set of equations contains a few statistical relationships and empirical concepts, so it is difficult to explain the physical nature of electromagnetic phenomena and principles. This paper explained that the macro phenomenon of electricity is the separation of unlike charges of new electrons produced by the orthogonal collision of old particles under the action of external forces. The physical nature of magnetism is the potential energy (magnetic energy) and information associated with the overall orientation of the moving electrons solidly recorded in the material. The physical principle of electromagnetic induction describes how change in electric current intensity generates change in magnetic intensity and vice versa through orthogonal interaction of ordered electrons. This theoretical interpretation does not require the concepts of traditional electromagnetic forces, electromagnetic fields, magnetic moments, and magnetic domains.展开更多

The revised Maxwell’s equations include the crucial parameters being the attenuation time constants of magnetic vortex potential and electric vortex potential generated by external electromagnetic field within the propagation medium. Specific expressions for them are obtained through theoretical analysis. In order to study the influence of adding magnetic nanoparticles as a contrast agent for MAT-MI on its physical process, firstly, we analyze and compare the electromagnetic and acoustical properties of MAT-MI theoretically before and after adding magnetic nanoparticles, and then construct a two-dimensional(2 D) planar model. Under the guidance of space-time separation theory, we determine the reasonable simulation conditions and solve the electromagnetic field and sound field physical processes in the two modes by using the finite element method. The magnetic flux density, sound pressure distribution, and related one-dimensional(1 D), 2 D, and three-dimensional(3 D) images are obtained. Finally, we make a qualitative and quantitative analysis based on the theoretical and simulation results. The research results show that the peak time of the time item separated from the sound source has a corresponding relationship with the peak time of the sound pressure signal. At this moment, MAMPTMI produces larger sound pressure signals, and the sound pressure distribution of the MAMPT-MI is more uniform, which facilitates the detection and completion of sound source reconstruction. Numerical studies are conducted to simulate acoustic pressures, waveforms, and reconstructed images with unidirectional, omnidirectional, and strong directional transducers. With the analyses of equivalent and projection sources, the influences of the model dimension and the layer effect are qualitatively analyzed to evaluate the performance of MAT-MI. Three-dimensional simulation studies show that the strong directional transducer with a large radius can reduce the influences of equivalent sources, projection sources, and the layer effect effectively, resulting in enhanced pressure and improved image contrast, which is beneficial for boundary pressure extraction in conductivity reconstruction. The reconstructed conductivity contrast images present the conductivity boundaries as stripes with different contrasts and polarities, representing the values and directions of the conductivity changes of the scanned layer. The result shows that this technique is effective to fit external magnetic disturbance to inner electromagnetic induced difference field and reduce the noise level of difference data successfully. The filter quality factor Q of two examples in this work are 0. 86 and 0.68 respectively. The spectral analysis shows that during geomagnetic-calm days the fourfold-frequency harmonics of S q in difference data are main components. The length of the optimum filter depends on not only the frequency of predicable energy in difference data but also maybe the phase difference between input and expected output data. It is difficult to obtain the filter fitting both the data during magnetic-disturbed days and calm days. The result shows that the conductivity in Yanqing-Huailai basin west to Beijing may be much non-uniform.展开更多

The linear and nonlinear magnetoacoustic responses determined by the magnetic properties of MNPs have attracted more and more attention in biomedical engineering. By considering the relaxation time of MNPs, we derive the formulae of second harmonic magnetoacoustic responses(2H-MARs) for a cylindrical MNP solution model based on the mechanical oscillations of MNPs in magnetoacoustic tomography with magnetic induction(MAT-MI). It is proved that only the second harmonic magnetoacoustic oscillations can be generated by MNPs under an alternating magnetic excitation. The acoustic pressure of the 2H-MAR is proportional to the square of the magnetic field intensity and exhibits a linear increase with the concentration of MNPs. Numerical simulations of the 2H-MAR are confirmed by the experimental measurements for various magnetic field intensities and solution concentrations using a laser vibrometer. The favorable results demonstrate the feasibility of the harmonic measurements without the fundamental interference of the electromagnetic excitation, and suggest a new harmonic imaging strategy of MAT-MI for MNPs with enhanced spatial resolution and improved signal-to-noise ratio in biomedical applications.展开更多

By being detected with a strong directional transducer, abrupt pressure change is proved to be generated by the gradient of the induced Lorentz force along the force direction at conductivity boundary. A simplified boundary normal pressure (BNP)-based conductivity reconstruction algorithm is proposed and the formula for conductivity distribution inside the object with the clear physical meaning of pressure derivative, is derived. Numerical simulations of acoustic pressure and conductivity reconstruction are conducted based on a 2-layer eccentric cylindrical phantom model using Hilbert transform. The reconstructed two-dimensional conductivity images accord well with the model, thus success- fully making up the deficiency of only imaging conductivity boundary in traditional MAT-MI. The proposed method is also demonstrated to have a spatial resolution of one wavelength. This study provides a new method of reconstructing accurate electrical conductivity and suggests the potential applications of MAT-MI in imaging biological tissues with conductivity difference.展开更多

Magnetic charges, that constitute together with electrical charges atomic shells got of title: magnetons and antimagnetons (respectively with charges g−and g+ under fundamental condition: g = e). Furthermore, in addition to participating in structures of atomic shells, the magnetic charges exist in potential and even in real zones conduction of solids. The magnetic and electric spinor particles in atoms and substance exist in form such of the spinor associations as the magnetic and electric bispinors. Under influence of external magnetic field in conductor being implemented polarization of magnetic bispinors with formation of magnetic dipoles. Internal fields magnetic dipoles is directed against an external magnetic field and is a simple explanation of such a physical manifestation as diamagnetism. During the rotation of these dipoles in the conductor are formed of the vortex magnetic dipole fields, which and create an electromotive force, i.e. are responsible for the electromagnetic induction. Author proposed new magneto-electric technology called the magnetoelectric induction, as the result of which the permanent current of magnetic charges is created. However, such currents may be implemented solely in the superconductors. In the article presented the main reasons which more hundred year old hinder recognition and technical use of the real magnetic charges and their currents what considerably slow down the global scientific and technological progress.展开更多

The separation results of the three iron samples are as follows: iron grade 66.77%67.98% and the recovery of iron 69.26% 70.70%by the FIMS process with flocculants. The comparative results show that under the same separation conditions the FIMS process can effectively increase the recovery of iron by 10.97%15.73%. The flowsheet results confirm the reliability of the process in a SHP high intensity magnetic separator. The concentrate product can be used as raw materials for direct reduction iron-smelting. The hydrolyzed and causticized flocculants can selectively flocculate fine feebly-magnetic iron mineral particles to increase their apparent separation sizes. The larger the separation size, the stronger the magnetic force. By comparing the separation results of the three samples it is found that amongthe three samples the higher the limonite content, the better the separation result. This means that the separation result relates closely to the flocculation process and the adding pattern of the flocculant.展开更多

METHODS: Six anesthetized/mechanically-ventilated pigs underwent single/double renal sonication(n = 24) using a 3T-MRg-HIFU(1.1 MHz frequency and 3000J-4400 J energies). T2-weighted fast spin echo(T2-W), perfusion saturation recovery gradient echo and contrast enhanced(CE) T1-weighted(T1-W) sequences were used for treatment planning, temperature monitoring, lesion visualization, characterization and quantification, respectively. Histopathology was conducted in excised kidneys to quantify and characterize cellular and vascular changes. Paired Student's t-test was used and a P-value < 0.05 was considered statistically significant.RESULTS: Ablated renal parenchyma could not be differentiated from normal parenchyma on T2-W or nonCE T1-W sequences. Ablated renal lesions were visible as hypoenhanced regions on perfusion and CE T1-W MRI sequences, suggesting perfusion deficits and necrosis. Volumes of ablated parenchyma on CE T1-W images invivo(0.12-0.36 cm3 for single sonication 3000 J, 0.50-0.84 cm3, for double 3000 J, 0.75-0.78 cm3 for single 4400 J and 0.12-2.65 cm3 for double 4400J) and at postmortem(0.23-0.52 cm3, 0.25-0.82 cm3, 0.45-0.68 cm3 and 0.29-1.80 cm3, respectively) were comparable. The ablated volumes on 3000 J and 4400 J double sonication were significantly larger than single(P < 0.01), thus, the volume and depth of ablated tissue depends on the applied energy and number of sonication. Macroscopic and microscopic examinations confirmed the locations and presence of coagulation necrosis, vascular damage and interstitial hemorrhage, respectively.CONCLUSION: Contrast enhanced MRI provides assessment of MRg-HIFU renal ablation. Histopathology demonstrated coagulation necrosis, vascular damage and confirmed the volume of damage seen on MRI.展开更多

The neutralization undoes the internal induction excited by the primary electric field and, as a result, eliminates the secondary toroidal magnetic field inside the D″. The primary magnetic field generated by the fluid-core-dynamo gives rise to a sustainable secondary poloidal magnetic field inside the conducting D″ layer. We introduce the general kinematic boundary conditions that are valid with different induction processes and parameter jumps across the core mantle boundary. We find by dimensional analysis that the strength of the secondary poloidal magnetic field is much weaker, by a factor of ~10-2, than the irrotational primary. These findings indicate that the D' is in effect an insulator for the geodynamo regardless of its material composition. Any mechanism for the coremantle magnetic coupling should take this fact into consideration.展开更多

文摘Bottomless electromagnetic cold crucible is a new apparatus for continuous melting and directional solidification;however, improving its power efficiency and optimizing the configuration are important for experiment and production. In this study,a 3-D finite element (FE) method based on experimental verification was applied to calculate the magnetic flux density (Bz).The effects of the power parameters and the induction coil on the magnetic field distribution in the cold crucible were investigated. The results show that higher current intensity and lower frequency are beneficial to the increase of Bz at both the segment midpoint and the slit location. The induction coil with racetrack section can induce greater Bz,and a larger gap between the induction coil and the shield ring increases Bz.The mechanism for this effect is also discussed.
文摘The effectiveness of eliminating the noises in short-period data of geomagnetic intensity recorded in a little seismo-geomagnetic array by using numerical multichannel predictive filtering has been studied. The result shows that the conductivity in Yanqing-Huailai basin west to Beijing may be much non-uniform.

文摘Due to the unique magnetic, mechanical and thermal properties, magnetic nanoparticles(MNPs) have comprehensive applications as the contrast and therapeutic agents in biomedical imaging and magnetic hyperthermia. The favorable results demonstrate the feasibility of the harmonic measurements without the fundamental interference of the electromagnetic excitation, and suggest a new harmonic imaging strategy of MAT-MI for MNPs with enhanced spatial resolution and improved signal-to-noise ratio in biomedical applications.

文摘As a kind of multi-physics imaging approach integrating the advantages of electrical impedance tomography and ul- trasound imaging with the improved spatial resolution and image contrast, magneto-acoustic tomography with magnetic induction (MAT-MI) is demonstrated to have the capability of electrical impedance contrast imaging for biological tissues with conductivity differences. This study provides a new method of reconstructing accurate electrical conductivity and suggests the potential applications of MAT-MI in imaging biological tissues with conductivity difference.
文摘Experimental and theoretical researches performed by the author (period: 1969-present) showed that magnetic spinor particles (magnetic charges) are real structural components of atoms and substance and immediate sources of all magnetic fields and magnetic manifestations in Nature. In the article presented the main reasons which more hundred year old hinder recognition and technical use of the real magnetic charges and their currents what considerably slow down the global scientific and technological progress.
文摘Image-guided high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) has been used for more than ten years, primarily in the treatment of liver and prostate cancers. HIFU has the advantages of precise cancer ablation and excellent protection of healthy tissue. Breast cancer is a common cancer in women. HIFU therapy, in combination with other therapies, has the potential to improve both oncologic and cosmetic outcomes for breast cancer patients by providing a curative therapy that conserves mammary shape. Currently, HIFU therapy is not commonly used in breast cancer treatment, and efforts to promote the application of HIFU is expected. In this article, we compare different image-guided models for HIFU and reviewed the status, drawbacks, and potential of HIFU therapy for breast cancer.
文摘Successful recovery of limonite from iron fines was achieved by using flocculation-high intensity magnetic separation (FIMS) and adding hydrolyzed and causticized flocculants according to the characteristic of iron fines. This means that the separation result relates closely to the flocculation process and the adding pattern of the flocculant.
文摘AIM: To use magnetic resonance-guided high intensity focused ultrasound(MRg-HIFU), magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) and histopathology for noninvasively ablating, quantifying and characterizing ablated renal tissue. Histopathology demonstrated coagulation necrosis, vascular damage and confirmed the volume of damage seen on MRI.
文摘In response to the primary electric field originated by the fluid-core-dynamo, electric charges accumulate at the boundaries of a solid conducting D″ layer due to the poor circuitry conditions until the irrotational primary electric field is neutralized. Any mechanism for the coremantle magnetic coupling should take this fact into consideration.
