The concept of virtual position-offset injection is mathematically transforming the machine model to a virtual frame with a position-offset. The virtual frame temperature estimation model is derived to calculate the permanent magnet temperature(PMT) directly from the measurements with computation efficiency. The estimation model involves a combined inductance term, which can simplify the establishment of saturation compensation model with less measurements. Moreover, resistance and inverter distorted terms are cancelled in the estimation model, which can improve the robustness to the winding temperature rise and inverter distortion. The proposed approach can achieve simplified computation in temperature estimation and reduced memory usage in saturation compensation. While existing model-based approaches could be affected by either the need of resistance and inverter information or complex saturation compensation. Experiments are conducted on the test machine to verify the proposed approach under various operating conditions.展开更多

Here, we find that monolayer Fe SIn is a good candidate for realizing the QAH phase;it exhibits a high magnetic transition temperature of 221 K and tunable C = ±2 with respect to magnetization orientation in the y–z plane. After the application of biaxial strain, the magnetic axis shifts from the x–y plane to the z direction, and the effect of the high C and ferromagnetic ground state on the stress is robust. Also, the effect of correlation U on C has been examined. These properties are rooted in the large size of the Fe atom that contributes to ferromagnetic kinetic exchange with neighboring Fe atoms. These findings demonstrate monolayer Fe SIn to be a major template for probing novel QAH devices at higher temperatures.展开更多

The effect of quenching temperature on the microstructure and magnetic properties of the alloys was studied by X-ray diffractometry, transmission electron microscopy and magnetization measurements. It is found that a finer and more uniform microstructure can be obtained directly from the melt quenched at lower temperature. With increasing initial quenching temperature, the optimal quenching speed decreases and the microstructure of the ribbons becomes coarser and more irregular. As a result, the magnetic properties of the alloys are deteriorated. It is believed that the break of the pre-existing Nd2Fe14B clusters and decrease in number of the developing nuclei of Nd2Fe14B phase with increase in quenching temperature may be the causes for the change of the microstructure and the magnetic properties of the ribbons.展开更多

It is found that with the temperature increasing, the decrease rate of magnetic induction peak(Bz)maxof single magnet ring is greater than that of remanence Brof magnet in the range from room temperature to 200 °C, however, the PPM focusing system do have the same temperature characteristics of permanent-magnet materials. It indicates that the magnetic temperature properties of the PPM system can be effectively controlled by adjusting the temperature properties of the magnets. Moreover, the higher permeability of the magnets indicates the less Hcb, giving rise to lower magnetic induction peak (Bz)′max: Finally, it should be noted that the magnetic orientation deviation angle θ(/15°) of permanent magnets has little effect on the focusing magnetic field of the PPM system at different temperatures and the temperature stability. The obtained results are beneficial to the design and selection of permanent magnets for PPM focusing system.展开更多

The obtained results are beneficial to the design and selection of permanent magnets for PPM focusing system.

文摘In this article, natural convection of a temperature-sensitive magnetic fluid in a porous media is studied numerically by using lattice Boltzmann method. Results show that the heat transfer decreases when the ball numbers increase. When the magnetic field is increased, the heat transfer is enhanced;however the average wall Nusselt number increases at small ball numbers but decreases at large ball numbers due to the induced flow being more likely confined near the bottom walls with a high number of obstacles.

文摘The charged vector ρ mesons in the presence of external magnetic fields at finite temperature T and chemical potential μ have been investigated in the framework of the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model. We compute the masses of charged ρ mesons numerically as a function of the magnetic field for different values of temperature and chemical potential. The self-energy of the ρ meson contains the quark-loop contribution,i.e.the leading order contribution in 1/NC expansion. The charged ρ meson mass decreases with the magnetic field and drops to zero at a critical magnetic field eBc,which indicates that the charged vector meson condensation,i.e.the electromagnetic superconductor can be induced above the critical magnetic field.Surprisingly,it is found that the charged ρ condensation can even survive at high temperature and density. At zero temperature, the critical magnetic field just increases slightly with the chemical potential, which indicates that charged ρ condensation might occur inside compact stars. At zero density,in the temperature range 0.2 — 0.5 GeV,the critical magnetic field for charged ρ condensation is in the range of 0.2 — 0.6 GeV^2,which indicates that a high temperature electromagnetic superconductor might be created at LHC.

文摘The microstructure, magnetic entropy changes, hysteresis and magnetic properties of La_(0.8)Ce_(0.2)Fe_(11.5)Al_(1.5–x)Si_x(x=0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7) compounds were studied by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and a superconducting quantum interference device magnetometer(SQUID). The results showed that all the compounds presented cubic Na Zn13-type structure. Their Curie temperatures changed complicatedly with decreasing Al content due to changes of antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic interaction. Under a field change from 0 to 2 T, the maximum magnetic entropy change for La_(0.8)Ce_(0.2)Fe_(11.5)Al_(1.1)Si_(0.4), La_(0.8)Ce_(0.2)Fe_(11.5)Al_(1.0)Si_(0.5), La_(0.8)Ce_(0.2)Fe_(11.5)Al_(0.9)Si_(0.6) and La_(0.8)Ce_(0.2)Fe_(11.5)Al_(0.8)Si_(0.7) were found to be –9.6, –4.8, –5.8 and –11.7 J/(kg·K), respectively. Moreover, their hysteresis losses were 1.13 J/(kg·K) or less. The large magnetic entropy changed and small hysteresis losses made them potential candidates for practical magnetic refrigeration application.

文摘The structure and magnetocaloric properties of La1–xCexFe11.44Si1.56 and their hydrides La1–xCexFe11.44Si1.56Hy(x=0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4) were investigated. The samples crystallized mainly in the cubic Na Zn13-type structure with a small amount of α-Fe phase as impurity. The lattice constants and Curie temperature presented the same change tendency with increasing of Ce content. For the hydrides, the influence of Ce content on lattice constants was weakened and the values of H concentration y were approximate to be 1.56.The La1–xCexFe11.44Si1.56 compounds exhibited large values of isothermal entropy change –ΔSm around the Curie temperature TC under a low magnetic field change of 1.5 T.The value of –ΔSm increased and then decreased with increasing Ce content, reached the maximum, 26.07 J/kg·K for x=0.3.TC increased up to the vicinity of room temperature by hydrogen absorption for the Ce substituted compounds, but TC only slightly decreased with increasing Ce content. The first-order metamagnetic transition was still kept in the hydrides and the maximum values of –ΔSm were lower than those of the La1–xCexFe11.44Si1.56 compounds, but still remained large values, about 10.5 J/kg K under a magnetic field change of 1.5 T.The values of –ΔSm were nearly independent of the Ce content and did not increase with increasing x for the hydrides. The La1–xCexFe11.44Si1.56Hy(x=0–0.4) hydrides exhibited large magnetic entropy changes, small hysteresis loss and effective refrigerant capacity covered the room temperature range from 305 to 317 K.These hydrides are very useful for the magnetic refrigeration applications near room temperature under low magnetic field change.

文摘A sintered(Nd_(0.8)Pr_(0.2))_(30.7)FebalB_(0.98)Cu_(0.2) magnet with 3% intergranular Dy_(85)Ni_(15) additive is prepared to study the magnetic properties and thermal stability of the Nd-Fe-B magnet. The results show that the magnet with or without additive obtains its optimum comprehensive magnetic properties at the sintering temperature of 1 030 ℃ and 1 040 ℃, respectively. The maximum coercivity of the magnet with additive reaches 15.16 k Oe, while that of the magnet without additive is just 11.88 k Oe. Further investigation on microstructure indicates that the grains of the magnet with additive form a modified "core shell" structure. Adding Dy_(85)Ni_(15) can significantly enhance the coercivity of Nd-Fe-B magnet and thus decrease its coercivity temperature coefficient.

文摘The effect of Pr,Nd addition on the magnetic properties and magnetic exchange interaction of gadolinium alloys was systematically studied.Curie temperature TC and magnetic moment of Gd(1–x)REx(RE=Pr,Nd)systems with x〈0.05 were investigated. When x〈0.05,Pr and Nd formed respectively with Gd continuous solid solution which has the crystalline structure HCP.Study on the magnetic behavior indicated that at near room temperature, the simple ferromagnetism prevailed in these two systems of alloy. The Curie temperature and magnetic moment of Gd(1–x)REx alloy decreased with RE(RE= Pr,Nd)content x increasing. The de Gennes factor of Gd(1–x)REx alloy which was associated with the exchange interaction between magnetic spin components also decreased with RE content increasing. The above results showed that the magnetic exchange interaction between magnetic atoms in gadolinium could be effectively changed by the Pr,Nd addition.
文摘Unintentionally doped AIGaN layers, which were co.implanted with 400 keV Tb+ ions and 200keV Cr+ ions at doses of 1.5×1015cm-2, have been rapid thermally annealed at 800℃ and 900℃ for 5 min in flowing N2, Compared with Tb implanted AIGaN sample, the Tb and Cr co-implanted sample revesls a larger magnetic signal. In this work, the annealing effect on the structural and magnetic properties of Tb and Cr co-implanted AIGaN thin films have been studied. XRD and raman scattering results indicate that no second phase presents in thetin films and mast of the implantation induced defects can be removed by post-implantation annealing. Superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) measurements show clear room temperature ferromagnetic behavior and an increase in the saturation magnetization as a result of annealing. The saturation magnetization of the 900℃ annealed sample is about 15 times higher than that of the 800℃ annealed sample.
