The aim of this study was to investigate the adjustment problems of students from the United States enrolled in universities in the East,specifically in Taiwan,their problems related to cultural adaptation,and the process of adjustment to student life in Taiwan.Under investigation were cultural adjustment and coping skills as these students transitioned from West to East.Qualitative data were collected from interviews with participants and faculty members as well as participant observations.Results indicated that U.S.students found their own ways to acclimate to their new academic setting as well as to social relations,cross-cultural issues,and the linguistic environment in Taiwan to achieve effective adaptation.They made changes in themselves to cope with all situations they encountered.This study provides suggestions for international students abroad in Taiwan,for the Taiwan Residents government,and for universities or colleges in terms of what they should offer to current and future international students. 展开更多

Due to the recently increased requirements of e-learning systems,multiple educational institutes such as kindergarten have transformed their learning towards virtual education.Automated student health exercise is a difficult task but an important one due to the physical education needs especially in young learners.The proposed system focuses on the necessary implementation of student health exercise recognition(SHER)using a modified Quaternion-basedfilter for inertial data refining and data fusion as the pre-processing steps.Further,cleansed data has been segmented using an overlapping windowing approach followed by patterns identification in the form of static and kinematic signal patterns.Furthermore,these patterns have been utilized to extract cues for both patterned signals,which are further optimized using Fisher’s linear discriminant analysis(FLDA)technique.Finally,the physical exercise activities have been categorized using extended Kalmanfilter(EKF)-based neural networks.This system can be implemented in multiple educational establishments including intelligent training systems,virtual mentors,smart simulations,and interactive learning management methods. 展开更多

目的了解近10年国内外护理专业学位硕士(master of nursing specialist,MNS)研究生教育的研究热点及发展趋势。方法检索中国知网和Web of Science于2013年7月1日-2023年7月1日发表的关于MNS研究生教育的相关文献,采用CiteSpace 6.2.R6... 目的了解近10年国内外护理专业学位硕士(master of nursing specialist,MNS)研究生教育的研究热点及发展趋势。方法检索中国知网和Web of Science于2013年7月1日-2023年7月1日发表的关于MNS研究生教育的相关文献,采用CiteSpace 6.2.R6软件进行可视化分析。结果共纳入文献1039篇,其中英文文献506篇、中文文献533篇。国外文献主要聚焦于高级护理实践教学的质量及高级护理实践的结果评价等方面,对临床能力和技能、临床实践效果等方面的研究将成为前沿趋势;国内研究聚焦于MNS培养模式的构建与应用,以及MNS教育的专科化,而高级护理实践教育的本土化、MNS临床实践能力教育的相关研究将成为前沿趋势。结论我国MSN教育正处于高速发展阶段,相关培养模式还需进一步的实证研究,质量考核体系亟待进一步完善。 展开更多

现有的疲劳S-N曲线已不再适用于北极的低温环境,为了评估北极海洋工程设备材料的低温疲劳寿命,有必要建立金属结构尤其是焊接结构的低温疲劳S-N曲线。本文基于等效结构应力法,计算出Q690高强钢管环焊缝的主S-N曲线,并通过共振疲劳试验... 现有的疲劳S-N曲线已不再适用于北极的低温环境,为了评估北极海洋工程设备材料的低温疲劳寿命,有必要建立金属结构尤其是焊接结构的低温疲劳S-N曲线。本文基于等效结构应力法,计算出Q690高强钢管环焊缝的主S-N曲线,并通过共振疲劳试验对该方法进行了验证。在此基础上,结合大量的高强钢焊接结构试验结果,将温度敏感因子c引入到低温疲劳主S-N曲线的推导中,首次建立了基于低温金属焊接结构的主S-N曲线,并对文献中的疲劳S-N试验数据和ASME中的修正方法进行了对比和验证。结果表明,等效结构应力法能够较准确地计算出焊缝疲劳S-N曲线,推导出的金属焊接结构低温主S-N曲线与试验曲线吻合较好,能够满足低温地区工程要求,可为高强钢焊接结构在北极地区低温环境中的广泛应用提供理论指导。该方法可以为金属焊接结构的低温疲劳研究节省大量的成本,减少非标准试验操作造成的不必要的误差。这对北极海洋工程设备的设计、安全运行和疲劳评估具有重要意义。 展开更多

The DNP: Knowledge and perceptions of students in an accelerated master’s program in nursing

While the nursing community generally agrees that the Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree will strengthen nursing as an academic discipline, there is little known about students’ perceptions of the advanced degree. Nursing students enrolled in an accelerated master’s program in nursing (N = 45) were surveyed to assess their knowledge of the DNP degree while also identifying the perceived effect a DNP might have on their careers, on nursing as a discipline, and on public perceptions of nursing practice. In this study, 51% of participants supported the transition to the DNP as the standard degree for practice nursing while 29% were opposed. The majority of participants (71%) planned to pursue an advanced practice nursing degree/certification with 81% of this group signifying that they would do so even if a DNP is required. The majority of participants agreed that the DNP will improve public perception of advanced practice nursing, but 71% thought the title of “doctor” would confuse patients. While current nursing students are generally informed of the upcoming DNP transition, there is disagreement regarding its implications for their careers and for the extent of public understanding. 展开更多

Objective:The objective is to understand the current situation of clinical practice training for nursing master’s degree postgraduates,and discuss the necessity of implementing the“dual specialty”training mode for nursing master’s degree postgraduates in China.Methods:Phenomenological research method was used to conduct semi‑structured in‑depth interviews with 10 nursing master’s degree graduates,and the data were analyzed by Colaizzi 7‑step analysis method.Results:Four topics were extracted:The objective of clinical practice training for nursing master degree postgraduates was not specific;the cultivation direction is not refined;the ability of clinical practice is weak;the research direction is not consistent with the required position.Conclusion:Implementing special double training mode can solve nursing professional master degree postgraduate education lacking the ability to service the needs of society,graduate students and the existing problems of specialist nurse training and the cultivation of“heavy science,light clinical practice”status quo and the effective way of guiding graduate students career planning,so the implementation of special“double”training mode is necessary. 展开更多

目的:了解近10年护理硕士研究生教育领域在全球的研究热点、研究现状和发展趋势。方法:通过Web of Science检索2013年1月1日—2023年3月1日护理硕士研究生教育领域的英文文献,对收集到英文文献的年度发文量、国家发文量、作者发文量、... 目的:了解近10年护理硕士研究生教育领域在全球的研究热点、研究现状和发展趋势。方法:通过Web of Science检索2013年1月1日—2023年3月1日护理硕士研究生教育领域的英文文献,对收集到英文文献的年度发文量、国家发文量、作者发文量、机构发文量、关键词聚类共现的数据进行可视化处理,分析其研究热点。CiteSpace软件用于检测关键字突现。结果:护理硕士研究生教育领域全球年度发文量呈整体逐步上升趋势;关键词共现聚类分析结果显示,研究热点主题集中在多领域服务实践、心理支持策略、跨专业教育课程、研究生教育模式。结论:近10年护理硕士研究生教育处于迅速发展阶段,护理硕士研究生模拟训练策略、临床思维能力、社会适应能力、跨学科模式等可能是未来该领域研究的热点和方向。未来发展跨学科研究生教育模式,充分发挥护理硕士研究生优势,提高其社会适应能力水平。 展开更多

E-learning platforms support education systems worldwide, transferring theoretical knowledge as well as soft skills. In the present study high-school pupils’, and adult students’ opinions were evaluated through a modern structured MOODLE interactive course, designed for the needs of the laboratory course “Automotive Systems”. The study concerns Greek secondary vocational education pupils aged 18 and vocational training adult students aged 20 to 50 years. The multistage, equal size simple random cluster sample was used as a sampling method. Pupils and adult students of each cluster completed structured 10-question questionnaires both before and after attending the course. A total of 120 questionnaires were collected. In general, our findings disclosed that the majority of pupils and adult students had significantly improved their knowledge and skills from using MOODLE. They reported strengthening conventional teaching, using the new MOODLE technology. The satisfaction indices improved quite, with the differences in their mean values being statistically significant. 展开更多

目的:比较分析超声生物显微镜(ultrasound biomicroscopy,UBM)与IOL-Master测量人眼睫状沟直径的差异,为更准确地计算有晶状体眼后房型人工晶状体植入术(phakicposterior chamber intraocular lens,PPCIOL)也称为可植入的接触镜(implant... 目的:比较分析超声生物显微镜(ultrasound biomicroscopy,UBM)与IOL-Master测量人眼睫状沟直径的差异,为更准确地计算有晶状体眼后房型人工晶状体植入术(phakicposterior chamber intraocular lens,PPCIOL)也称为可植入的接触镜(implantable contact lens,ICL)的直径提供客观依据(以下简称ICL),从而有效减少术后并发症。方法:选取植入ICL术后1mo的高度近视眼患者32例(60眼)和正视对照组人群28例(48眼),分别作为实验组和对照组,对照组要求排除任何眼科手术史。应用UBM分别测量实验组和对照组的睫状沟直径;应用IOL-Master测量实验组和对照组的角膜横径即水平白到白的距离(whitetowhite,W-W),将所得的数据进行统计学分析。结果:植入ICL后1mo患者的UBM测得的睫状沟直径与IOL-Master测得的W-W值比较其差异有统计学意义(t=2.023,1.988;P<0.05);健康人眼的UBM测得的睫状沟直径与IOL-Maste测得的W-W值比较其差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);ICL术后患者与健康眼的UBM测得的睫状沟直径值比较其差异无统计学意义;二者的IOL-Master测得的W-W值比较其差异也无统计学意义。结论:UBM可以作为测量人眼睫状沟直径的工具;应用IOL-Master眼外测得W-W值与UBM测得的睫状沟直径值是有区别的,我们更倾向于应用UBM测得的值;人眼是存在解剖变异的,这些变异会增加ICL植入的危险性。 展开更多

目的:应用IOL-Master测量大学生近视眼的眼轴长度(AL),水平、垂直角膜屈光力(K1,K2),前房深度(ACD)及角膜直径,探讨大学生近视眼各屈光成分值与屈光度的关系以及大学生近视眼的主要成因。方法:大学生近视患者1059例2118眼,经电脑验光按... 目的:应用IOL-Master测量大学生近视眼的眼轴长度(AL),水平、垂直角膜屈光力(K1,K2),前房深度(ACD)及角膜直径,探讨大学生近视眼各屈光成分值与屈光度的关系以及大学生近视眼的主要成因。方法:大学生近视患者1059例2118眼,经电脑验光按等效屈光度分为三组:A组低度近视<-3.00D(738眼),B组中度近视-3.00~-6.00D(989眼),C组高度近视>-6.00D(391眼)。采用光学相干生物测量仪(Zeiss,IOL-Master)测量其AL,K1,K2,ACD及角膜直径,计算眼轴长度与角膜曲率的比值AL/CR,数据采用SPSS18.0统计分析。结果:随着近视屈光度的增加,眼轴长度明显增加,两者之间存在显著相关性(P<0.01),且各组间具有显著差异性(P<0.01);K1在A组与B组间差异无显著性(P>0.05),K2在各组间具有差异性(P<0.05),但K1和K2仅与中度近视的屈光度存在相关性(P<0.05);各组AL与K1、K2呈负相关,且有显著统计学意义(P<0.01);ACD在B组与C组间差异无显著性(P>0.05),低度近视的屈光度与ACD存在显著相关性(P<0.01);角膜直径在各组间无显著性差异(P>0.05),且与屈光度无相关性(P>0.05);AL/CR比值3.183±0.132,近视屈光度与AL/CR比值呈负相关(r=-0.761,P=0.000)。结论:轴性近视是大学生近视的主要类型。大学生中度近视是眼轴与角膜屈光力共同作用所致;ACD对大学生近视屈光度影响较小;角膜直径对大学生近视屈光度无影响。 展开更多

随着AI技术的发展,人工智能与传统设备的结合已深刻改变了人类的生产生活。MASS(Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships)全称为海上自主水面船舶,其作为人工智能的产物,代表着未来船舶的发展趋势,也推动MASS岸基操控人员这一新兴海事主体... 随着AI技术的发展,人工智能与传统设备的结合已深刻改变了人类的生产生活。MASS(Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships)全称为海上自主水面船舶,其作为人工智能的产物,代表着未来船舶的发展趋势,也推动MASS岸基操控人员这一新兴海事主体的产生。“自动化”并不意味着在MASS的操作过程中完全消除人员因素的干扰,在IMO所定义的MASS发展四阶段中,人在循环中的角色是不断变化的,其职能、责任、法律地位均有所不同,关于岸基操控人员法律地位的认定,具有基础性和高度优先性。L1级别MASS无需岸基操控人员;L2级别MASS岸基操控人员可视作L3级别岸基操控人员的实习或见习期;L3级别岸基操控人员可视为船长或“外部船长”;L4级别MASS系统的优先程度高于人,岸基操控人员仅具有“监督”与作出“降级”决定的职责,不排除其成为新兴海事主体的可能性。 展开更多

目的:探讨SPOC联合“五步”教学法在护理硕士研究生文献研讨课程中的应用效果。方法:采用整群抽样法选取山西省某高校2019级及2020级护理硕士研究生为研究对象。将2019级护理硕士研究生(73人)作为对照组,2020级护理硕士研究生(93人)作... 目的:探讨SPOC联合“五步”教学法在护理硕士研究生文献研讨课程中的应用效果。方法:采用整群抽样法选取山西省某高校2019级及2020级护理硕士研究生为研究对象。将2019级护理硕士研究生(73人)作为对照组,2020级护理硕士研究生(93人)作为试验组。对照组采用常规教学方案进行文献研讨课程教学,试验组采用SPOC联合“五步”教学法进行文献研讨课程教学。比较两组学生自主学习能力、科研能力、批判性思维能力、考核成绩。结果:干预后,试验组学生护理专业大学生自主学习能力测评量表总分及各维度得分均高于对照组,护理人员科研能力自评量表总分高于对照组,考核成绩高于对照组,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论:SPOC联合“五步”教学法能够提高护理硕士研究生自主学习能力、科研能力、考核成绩,对护理硕士研究生批判性思维能力有积极影响。 展开更多

English reading,a key procedure of English learning and teaching in middle school,is an essential way of getting information from the globe and communicating with others.Therefore,efficient comprehension on reading materials will directly serve for accepting the information.And it is extremely important for middle school students to acquire certain reading ability.At present,great attention has been paid to the course of reading in the instruction of English by the Chinese Education Department.But middle school students'read ing ability is still much lower than the target they should reach because of a set of existing obstacles that prevent them from being effective English readers.What are these obstacles? How to break them down? This paper will first point out and then analyze the obstacles that af fect middle school students'reading ability from two aspects:linguistic obstacles(obstacles of lexicon,grammar and background knowl edge) and non-linguistic obstacles(obstacles of psychology,interest,skill,and habit).After demonstrating different obstacles,the paper also come up with some corresponding strategies in the hope of helping middle school students to be effective English readers. 展开更多
