Study on the Reasons and Countermeasures for Loss of Listed Companies in Manufacturing Industry

In combination with the data of loss-making listed companies in manufacturing industry at capital market in 2008-2010,this paper analyzed the characteristics of loss of listed companies.Major reasons include the blind investment of management personnel,low operation and management level,blind pursuit of diversified operation,improper stock right structure,weak supervision of government,and imperfect delisting system.Finally,it came up with some countermeasures,including improving quality of management personnel,management personnel selecting proper investment projects,strengthening internal management of enterprise,implementing effective asset rearrangement,setting up effective incentive and restrictive mechanism,bringing into play regulation function of banks,improving delisting mechanism,reducing centralization of state owned stock right,and establishing and improving market information disclosure system.

A cross-sectional study on the effects of occupational noise exposure on hypertension or cardiovascular among workers from automobile manufacturing company of Chongqing, China

For the past few years, noise pollution has been more and more serious, and it may lead to several diseases. While the humans expose to noise in quantity for a long time, their blood pressure will change, and even cause changes in cardiac function. In our study, we attempt to find the relationship between occupational noise and hypertension and impaired hearing, cardiac function. It may be helpful to obtain some useful information on occupational noise exposure of humans. The participants were divided into noisy group ≥90 dB (A) and non-noisy group ≤70 dB (A). We performed this research in an automobile manufacturing company of Chongqing, China during 2011-2012. Our study showed that there may be positive associations between?occupational noise and hypertension and impaired hearing, but no conclusion can be drawn between occupational noise and ECG.

Organizational Culture Content of the Manufacturing Companies in Austria and the Czech Republic

The main focus of this scientific article is organizational culture that represents very complicated and complex social phenomenon. Organizational culture is understood as the set of basic assumptions, values, standards, and artifacts, shared in the company in long-term horizon. The main objective of empirical research was to map organizational culture content in manufacturing companies in the Czech Republic and Austria. The content of organizational culture in the selected level of analysis was identified by means of qualitative methods--individual interviews and focus group discussions. With respect to specified objective, research was implemented in the sample of 10 companies in the Czech Republic and Austria. Data acquired by qualitative method of focus group were processed by means of content analysis. The main result of this part of empirical research was to describe the organizational culture content in the manufacturing companies operating in Austrian and Czech environment.

Analysis on the Efficiency of Technology Innovation of Listed Companies in China's Machinery Manufacturing Industry

On the basis of the definition of technological innovation and efficiency,based on the DEA method,this paper takes the panel data of 20 listed companies in China's machinery manufacturing industry from 2011 to 2015 as samples,evaluating the technological innovation efficiency of listed companies in China's machinery manufacturing industry.Finally,it sums up and puts forward effective countermeasures to improve the technological innovation of listed companies in China's machinery manufacturing industry.It is hoped that it will play a guiding role in the technological innovation activities of listed companies in China's machinery manufacturing industry.

The Relationship between the Performance of Listed Companies in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Inventory Turnover, Operating Rate

As an important part of the pharmaceutical industry, the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is always at the battlefield of the international public health and health industry. At the same time, as a basic and strategic sub-industry in China's manufacturing industry, the medical manufacturing industry closely related to people’s livelihood which is not only related to social Responsibility but also plays a key role in China's economy today. For the Chinese people, the new medical reforms and the irreversible aging of the population have increased the nation’s total expenditure on health care. From January to October 2017, the pharmaceutical industry’s main business income was RMB 2,410.29 billion, a year-on-year increase of 13.10%. This is a 4.50 percentage point higher than the 10.30% growth rate in 2016. However, even if the circumstance of this industry is getting better, high growth also has a drag on the national health insurance system and the standard of living of the people. This article chooses to analyze the financial and operating-level factors of China's pharmaceutical manufacturing listed companies such as Inventory turnover rate and operating rate. Study the impact on the performance of China's pharmaceutical manufacturing listed companies. The results of the study will fill gaps in the research of this industry and help pharmaceutical manufacturing listed companies choose the right capital size, liabilities, and expansion strategies, and more effectively absorb the current development dividends of China’s “four new economy”, and use them rationally and effectively. Markets and complex and limited capital and resources of enterprises, as China's industry benchmarks continue to guide the rapid growth of the market. on the other hand, to help investor the empirical point of view better choice of investment targets. This paper uses data from 2007-2016 for randomly selecting 19 companies from 118 medical manufacturing listed companies classified by China Securities Regulatory Commission. After dealing with panel data, multiple inspections are performed on panel data. To avoid the deviation from the actual level of the regression results, the panel-corrected standard deviation model was used to derive the relationship between the operating-level factors of pharmaceutical manufacturing listed companies and their performance. The results of the study indicate that there is a positive correlation between Inventory turnover rate, operating rate and performance, which fills the domestic empirical research on this issue. This area of industry company performance is blank.

This paper focuses on agile manufacturing of complex moulds for punch devices and a decision analysis for the key link of agile manufacturing resources integration—the virtual company in a multivariate criterion universe of discourse. On the basis of presenting an agile manufacturing model of complex moulds for punch devices, we give a fuzzy decision method of two level judgment space of synthetic decision and several key problems which the production of complex moulds for punch devices must face under the architecture hierarchy of agile manufacturing. Empirical Study of the Relations between Executive Compensation Gap and R&D Investment in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Enterprises

Objective To study the correlation between executive compensation gap and R&D investment of pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprises in China by taking 53 pharmaceutical manufacturing companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges from 2015 to 2017 as research samples. Methods Multiple linear regression methods was used to study the relationship and influence between executive compensation gap and R&D investment in pharmaceutical manufacturing industry based on championship theory and principal-agent theory. Results and Conclusion There is a significant positive correlation between executive compensation gap in pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and enterprise R&D investment. Listed pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprises should design reasonable salary gap between senior executives and carry out reasonable research and development activities to promote the sustainable development of pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprises. This study provides theoretical basis for optimizing executive compensation gap and increasing R&D investment in pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.

Re-estimation and comparisons of alternative accounting based bankruptcy prediction models for Indian companies

Background:The suitability and performance of the bankruptcy prediction models is an empirical question.The aim of this paper is to develop a bankruptcy prediction model for Indian manufacturing companies on a sample of 208 companies consisting of an equal number of defaulted and non-defaulted firms.Out of 208 companies,130 are used for estimation sample,and 78 are holdout for model validation.The study reestimates the accounting based models such as Altman EI(Journal of Finance 23:19189-209,1968)Z-Score,Ohlson JA(Journal of Accounting Research 18:109-131,1980)Y-Score and Zmijewski ME(Journal of Accounting Research 22:59-82,1984)X-Score model.The paper compares original and re-estimated models to explore the sensitivity of these models towards the change in time periods and financial conditions.Methods:Multiple Discriminant Analysis(MDA)and Probit techniques are employed in the estimation of Z-Score and X-Score models,whereas Logit technique is employed in the estimation of Y-Score and the newly proposed models.The performance of all the original,re-estimated and new proposed models are assessed by predictive accuracy,significance of parameters,long-range accuracy,secondary sample and Receiver Operating Characteristic(ROC)tests.Results:The major findings of the study reveal that the overall predictive accuracy of all the three models improves on estimation and holdout sample when the coefficients are re-estimated.Amongst the contesting models,the new bankruptcy prediction model outperforms other models.Conclusions:The industry specific model should be developed with the new combinations of financial ratios to predict bankruptcy of the firms in a particular country.The study further suggests the coefficients of the models are sensitive to time periods and financial condition.Hence,researchers should be cautioned while choosing the models for bankruptcy prediction to recalculate the models by looking at the recent data in order to get higher predictive accuracy.

环境动态性、技术创新动态能力对财务绩效的影响研究

为研究技术创新动态能力对企业财务绩效的影响,本文以2014—2019年我国A股制造业上市公司为研究样本,实证检验技术创新动态能力对企业财务绩效的影响以及环境动态性对该影响的调节效应。将技术创新动态能力具体划分为技术创新投入、转化与产出三个维度,分别检验三者对企业财务绩效的影响。研究结果表明:①企业技术创新动态能力越强,其财务绩效提升越明显;②技术创新投入、转化与产出能力对企业财务绩效的提升均有显著促进作用;③环境动态性作为调节变量,在技术创新动态能力三个维度与企业财务绩效之间的正向调节作用显著。

低碳试点政策是否驱动了制造业企业绿色转型?——基于低碳城市试点的准自然实验

低碳试点政策作为应对气候变化和实现经济增长的积极政策,为制造业企业绿色转型提供契机。基于2012—2020年A股制造业上市公司数据,以低碳城市试点为准自然实验,采用渐进双重差分模型检验低碳试点政策对制造业企业绿色转型的驱动作用。研究发现:(1)低碳试点政策的实施可显著驱动制造业企业绿色转型;(2)企业创新和企业数字化转型起到部分中介作用;(3)融资约束具有负向的抑制作用,数字金融具有正向的促进作用。研究结论为深化低碳试点城市建设和驱动制造业企业绿色转型提供政策启示。

A combined machine learning algorithms and DEA method for measuring and predicting the efficiency of Chinese manufacturing listed companies

Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA)is a linear programming methodology for measuring the efficiency of Decision Making Units(DMUs)to improve organizational performance in the private and public sectors.However,if a new DMU needs to be known its efficiency score,the DEA analysis would have to be re-conducted,especially nowadays,datasets from many fields have been growing rapidly in the real world,which will need a huge amount of computation.Following the previous studies,this paper aims to establish a linkage between the DEA method and machine learning(ML)algorithms,and proposes an alternative way that combines DEA with ML(ML-DEA)algorithms to measure and predict the DEA efficiency of DMUs.Four ML-DEA algorithms are discussed,namely DEA-CCR model combined with back-propagation neural network(BPNN-DEA),with genetic algorithm(GA)integrated with back-propagation neural network(GANN-DEA),with support vector machines(SVM-DEA),and with improved support vector machines(ISVM-DEA),respectively.To illustrate the applicability of above models,the performance of Chinese manufacturing listed companies in 2016 is measured,predicted and compared with the DEA efficiency scores obtained by the DEA-CCR model.The empirical results show that the average accuracy of the predicted efficiency of DMUs is about 94%,and the comprehensive performance order of four ML-DEA algorithms ranked from good to poor is GANN-DEA,BPNN-DEA,ISVM-DEA,and SVM-DEA.

制造业上市公司循环经济效率研究

在资源和环境的双重约束下,以减量化、再使用、再循环、资源化为特征的循环经济已成为实现“双碳”目标的重要手段。在“双碳”目标背景下,制造业如何实现循环经济发展是当下的问题。运用DEA-BCC和DEA-Malmquist模型,对制造业上市公司数据进行分析,探究影响制造业循环经济效率的因素。研究发现:纯技术效率和规模效率均正向影响制造业上市公司的综合效率,且2017-2020年,制造业上市公司的综合效率整体呈上升的趋势,其中规模效率稳步提升,但纯技术效率有下降趋势。基于此,企业应合理配置资源,提升循环经济效率;加大科研投入,加速科研成果转化。同时政府应规范行业标准,实现信息披露统一化。

隐藏的建材:基于砖拱反思的民国空心砖生产与构造特色研究

20世纪初,粘土空心砖在我国是机制砖瓦中一种“新型材料”,以防火、轻质、隔音等性能优势广泛应用于新兴的高层建筑结构中,但对于其材料生产历史及构造问题并不清晰。本文采用民国期刊、报刊、产品图册和档案记录研究空心砖国产化、度量标准、种类、价格及构造衍生,揭示了民国空心砖生产企业工业化探索历程,通过引进设备、标准化物料、简化构造以顺应建筑技术转型趋势。空心砖推广跨越近现代,在缺乏“三材”(钢材、水泥、木材)时期,我国研制拱壳砖是对早期空心砖构造体系的回归。文章结合实例分析其构造的适用性和延续性。连贯性的材料和技术运用为评价遗产价值、建筑保护修复提供了有利的基础依据。

“工业4.0”背景下“中国智造”能否赋能劳动力就业

“工业4.0”背景下厘清“中国智造”对劳动力就业的影响,有助于缓解“机器换人”带来的冲击,实现“稳就业”目标。基于2007—2021年A股上市公司数据,以“工业4.0”理念作为准自然实验,利用双重差分法考察“中国智造”能否赋能劳动力就业。结果显示:(1)“中国智造”显著提高了企业的劳动力雇佣量,通过一系列稳健性检验后结果仍然显著。(2)“中国智造”的就业效应在市场化程度高的地区和人口规模适度的城市、低市场地位和小规模企业、高技能劳动力数量多和薪酬水平高的企业中更突出。(3)“中国智造”通过扩大企业生产规模和缓解融资约束影响劳动力雇佣。(4)“中国智造”可以扩大企业利润,降低企业风险,提高企业生产率,在一定程度上改善企业的经营绩效。研究结论为智能时代企业如何实现“稳就业,促增长”提供价值参考。

制造业上市企业的融资约束预测——基于机器学习算法的视角

企业融资约束指数的构建方法一般采用两步法,一是判断企业是否存在融资约束,二是通过财务指标构建融资约束指数。本文运用机器学习的方法探讨企业的融资约束指数的构建,首先,判断企业是否存在融资约束,采用聚类算法(K均值聚类和系统聚类)对这些企业进行分类,然后在聚类的基础上,采用分类算法(决策树、逻辑回归、神经网络)探讨企业融资约束的影响特征。本文通过分类算法预测结果,得到决策树算法的准确率是最好的,逻辑回归模型预测的稳定性是最好的,而神经网络预测模型较差。采用逻辑回归模型预测的融资约束概率与SA指数和祝学文的LFC融资约束指数较为密切相关。从企业融资约束的重要特征来看,在聚类的预分类中,重要特征变量为利息保障倍数和股利支付率,在分类算法中,重要特征变量为财务费用率和净资产报酬率。

制造业上市公司证券犯罪行为生成解析——以经济过度金融化为视角
