Evaluation of Relationship Between Clothing Pressure of Men's Suit and Comfort

An investigation on relationship between clothing pressure of men's suit and wearing comfort is conducted. With the pressure measurements at different parts of men's suit under normal standing posture and in motion, the objective assessment of the total comfort are related to the subjective ratings of clothing pressure. There is a common strong sensation of pressure on shoulder with normal standing posture, and a strong relationship between total comfort and clothing pressure in back armhole and the front of upper arm with posture in motion.

Study on Men's Jacket Tailoring in the Modern Production

The paper shows the comppartive analysis between the traditional technology and the advanced technology, as for the main processes of pieces blocking, attaching chest interlining, slitting pocket and setting sleeve. The difference of expenditure of time and the ratio of floating times between the hanger production system and traditional assembly line is analyzed as well as, which illustrates the advantages of the modern technics,advanced equipment and hi-technology. Some suggestions are given to further innovate the production technology of men's jacket.

A Study on the Transformation of the Chinese Dragon Boat Festival in Japan

The Japanese Dragon Boat Festival originates from China. It was first carried to Japan in the 7 th century, gradually developed into Men's Day after more than one thousand years of transformation from routine royal activities and female sacrificial activities, and finally converted into Children's Day today. The Japanese reform of the Chinese Dragon Boat Festival range from the types of celebrations to its meaning with regard to native customs and habits. Although the Japanese government modified and complemented the festival in various historical stages, forming a Dragon Boat Festival with Japanese characteristics, the Japanese Dragon Boat Festival is still heavily loaded with Chinese cultural elements.

Mental health of the male adolescent and young man: the Copenhagen statement

Background Male adolescents and young men benefit when their mental health care is specialized to match their unique gendered and developmental needs. Sensitivity to the social circumstances of this population is important;additionally, the emerging ability to tailor care through knowledge gleaned from the intersection of psychiatry, neurology, and endocrinol-ogy informs care. Data sources This article summarized the views of six experts in the area of the adolescent and young adult male mental health. These experts were select members of the World Federation of Societies of Biological Psychiatry's Task Force on Men's Mental Health. They convened to present two symposia on the topic of men's mental health at the 13th World Congress of Biological Psychiatry (WCBP) in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2017. Results In these works, a special focus is paid to addictive disorders, disruptive behavior disorders, aggression, and brain development. Collectively, the authors present an argument for the merits of a male-specifi c model of mental health care to advance the overall well-being of this population. Conclusions Men's mental health should be recognized as a social issue as much as a medical issue, with special attention paid to problems such as unemployment, familial disruption, and substance abuse. These problems, and especially those of major societal impact including violence and suicide which are much more frequently the product of male youth and men, should have more male-tailored options for service provision that respond to men's mental health needs.

Age is not a number when it comes to penile prosthesis surgery:A case series and mini literature review

Backgound:Given the overall aging of the population,erectile dysfunction(ED)has become an increasingly relevant issue.When elective surgery is offered,the patient's age is often noted as a potential limiting factor.The aim of this study is to investigate the safety of implanting penile prostheses(PPs)in men 90 years and older,and report the potential complications associated with this population.Methods:The database was screened between the years 2003 and 2023 to identify patients at least 90 years and older who underwent implantation of PP by a single surgeon at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center.We collected demographic information,their anesthesia perioperative assessment,surgical procedure details,and postoperative pathway.Results:Between 2003 and 2023,2000 men underwent PP surgery.Three patients were 90 years or older at the time of PP surgeries.All surgeries were performed without intraoperative or postoperative complications.Following the surgery,patients were monitored,and the patients with implantations demonstrated the ability to use the device and reported satisfaction.Conclusion:This case series demonstrates that implantation of PP is a safe and effective treatment for elderly men with ED.Maintaining a satisfactory sexual life in this age group is vital and achievable through inflatable PP insertion.There are several factors that must be considered prior to operating on an older patient.However,with proper patient selection and preoperative optimization,this operation can be effectively performed in these patients.
