基于改进ShuffleNetV2的男西服领型识别与分类模型

针对男西服领型款式识别分类效果不佳的问题,提出一种基于改进ShuffleNetV2的识别与分类模型。首先收集男西服样本图像,建立包含9类男西服领型的样本库;其次以ShuffleNetV2模型为基础,引入CBAM注意力机制、H-Swish激活函数来增强模型特征提取能力,有效防止神经元坏死;另外利用迁移学习的方法再次增强模型的特征提取能力,提高模型的识别适应性和识别精度;最后对样本库数据集进行数据增强后开始训练验证。实验结果对比表明,本文的改进模型可以实现对男西服领型的有效识别和分类,平均准确率达到92.82%。本文为解决男西服领型识别与分类困难等问题提供了有效的解决方案,对服装定制行业的分类识别具有借鉴意义。

Thai men＇s health and sexual attitude

Men＇s health awareness, including the research and study of quality of life, sexual desires and risk factors, has increased worldwide. In Thailand, this advancement is made possible by cooperation, research and sponsorship from the local Thai community. This article aims to illustrate the sexual attitudes of Thai people, to determine the degree of erectile dysfunction （ED） and to investigate how to manage and cope with ED in a Thai community. We reviewed the relevant literature from Thai-based articles and surveys in regard to men＇s health, sexual attitudes, the prevalence of ED and common risk factors in the Thai community. The primary risk factor for ED in Thai men was age-related health decline and the presence of vascular disease. Most Thai men will seek consultation from their partner in regard to ED. The main presentation of metabolic disease in Thai patients was dyslipidemia. New selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors are not available for premature ejaculation in Thai communities. The debate in regard to malpractice compensation is an issue that should be closely monitored. There is currently a shortage of home care for the elderly in Thailand. The insights provided by the articles helped recruit the study patients and in turn, helped us gain knowledge that can be translated into improved men＇s health care in Thailand.

Development of a Social Activities Scale for Community-Dwelling Older Men Requiring Support in Japan

Aim: We developed a scale to measure the social activities of community-dwelling older men requiring support. Methods: The participants were a group of 134 men, ≥65 years old, who required support and were living in Hokkaido, Japan. An anonymous questionnaire was administered through individual interviews. Valid responses were obtained from 121/134 interviewees. The construct validity of the resulting scale was assessed by exploratory factor analysis (EFA). Criterion-related validity was tested with Spearman’s rank correlation test based on the Social Activities Index for Elderly People (SAI-E). Reliability was assessed by Cronbach’s alpha. Results: A Social Activities Scale for Community-dwelling Older Men Requiring Support (SASOMS) scale was created, comprised of the following three subscales: daily interactions with familiar people;intimate relationships with family members;and interactions with others through activity programs (e.g., exercise, games, recreation, etc.). The created SASOMS scale correlated with the SAI-E (r = 0.557), and its criterion-related validity was confirmed. The alpha coefficient of the new scale was 0.791, and its internal consistency was confirmed. Conclusions: The reliability and validity of the developed SASOMS scale was confirmed, demonstrating that it can be used to assess social activities specifically in older men requiring support. Our results suggest that the scale can be used effectively by care providers who support older men requiring care. The usability of the SASOMS should continue to be improved, and it is necessary to verify its validity in longitudinal studies.

Women's Language or Powerless Language:A Study of Couples' Talk

The purpose of this essay is to study whether the linguistic behaviour of adult women using hedging and tags as indicative of an intrinsically tentative gender identity or of the effects of male dominant position through analyzing daily conversations of the heterosexual couples.The small scale study employs the methodology,namely,recording spontaneous and natural spoken conversation from authentic interaction with the permission of the ten male-female couples.Digital record pen with an omnidirectional microphone are placed in the central living area of each couple's home.Then discourse analysis provides data making it possible to support Fishman's claim that women use tag questions and 'you know' not because women are not being really sure of themselves,or are looking to the addressee for confirmation,but because men in a dominant position often refuse to take responsibility for the smooth conduct of interpersonal relations,women use tag questions and 'you know' to elicit and maintain conversations.

The men’s health center:Disparities in gender specific health services among the top 50“best hospitals”in America

Objective:Gender-specific integrated health services have long existed in the arena of women’s health care,but men’s health centers(MHCs)have only recently emerged as a novel practice model.Here,we seek to evaluate the prevalence and format of MHCs found in the leading academic medical centers in the United States.Methods:The US News&World Report’s Top 50 Ranked Hospitals for Urology was used as our cohort.Data were gathered on the presence of MHCs and types of providers and conditions treated.An equivalent search was performed for women’s health centers(WHCs).Results:Sixteen of 50(32%)promoted some type of MHC,compared to 49 of 50(98%)offering a WHC.Eight of the top 15 ranked institutions(53%)had an MHC compared to eight of 35(23%)remaining programs.Six of 16 MHCs incorporated providers from a variety of medical disciplines,including urologists,internists,endocrinologists,cardiologists,and psychologists,while another six of 16 MHCs were staffed solely by urologists.Eight of 16 provided services for exclusively urologic issues,four of 16 offered additional services in treatment of other medical conditions,and four of 16 did not specify.

Profile of men＇s health in Malaysia： problems and ：hallenges

Men＇s health concerns have evolved from the traditional andrology and male sexual health to a more holistic approach that encompasses male psychological, social and physical health. The poor state of health in men compared to their female counterparts is well documented. A review of the epidemiological data from Malaysia noted a similar trend in which men die at higher rates in under 1 and above 15 years old groups and most disease categories compared to women. In Malaysia, the main causes of death in men are non-communicable diseases and injuries. Risk factors, such as risk-taking behaviour, smoking and hypertension, are prevalent and amenable to early interventions. Erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation and prostate disorders are also prevalent. However, many of these morbidities go unreported and are not diagnosed early; therefore, opportunities for early intervention are missed. This reflects poor health knowledge and inadequate health-care utilisation among Malaysian men. Their health-seeking behaviour has been shown to be strongly influenced by family members and friends. However, more research is needed to identify men＇s unmet health-care needs and to develop optimal strategies for addressing them. Because the Malaysian population is aging and there is an increase in sedentary lifestyles, optimizing men＇s health will remain a challenge unless effective measures are implemented. The existing male-unfriendly health-care system and the negative influence of masculinity on men＇s health behaviour must be addressed. A national men＇s health policy based on a male-friendly approach to health-care delivery is urgently needed to provide a framework for addressing these challenges.

Osteoporosis: A Disease of Men

Objective: The goal of this study was to evaluate osteoporosis screening practices in male patients aged 70 and older. Methods: A survey-based study was carried out over six months at an academic primary care institution in the Midwest. Results: Seventy-nine male patients and fifteen primary care physicians were surveyed. Less than 10% of males recalled being screened for osteoporosis. Two-thirds of physicians reported regularly screening males for osteoporosis. Conclusion: Elderly male patients are overwhelmingly under-screened and undertreated for osteoporosis.

Clinical Evidence of Effective Therapy for Prostate Inflammation Based on a Combination of Macrolides and Men’s Pads

Prostatitis is a widespread disease associated with pelvic pain syndrome, which is characterized by pelvic pain, various urinary symptoms, and possible sexual dysfunction. An adequate therapy requires schemes for chronic prostatitis that affects, among other things, the atypical causative agents. We investigate a therapy for prostate inflammation consisting in a combination of macrolides with the usage of men’s pads for underwear during the treatment. We demonstrate the efficacy of this therapy on a group of patients with chronic prostatitis. The group of patients under this combination therapy exhibits better recovery dynamics compared to the group of patients who were treated only by macrolides. We observe a statistically significant (p-value < 0.01) difference between the two groups in the data from three sections of the NIH-CPSI questionnaire, which concerned pain, symptoms of impaired urination, and quality of life. The number of patients with soreness of the prostate, with the presence of bacteria and leukocytes in the prostate gland secretion, and with the presence of microorganisms in the PCR tests after treatment was lower in the combination therapy group compared to the macrolide group. The obtained results demonstrate that the use of macrolides in combination with the use of men’s pads in the treatment of chronic prostate inflammation, including “abacterial” prostatitis, is promising. More generally, our results highlight the importance of flexible and individual approaches to the treatment of chronic prostatitis.

London, one of the most popular settings in literature, is portrayed in many literary works not only as the centre of power, dreams, expectations, and fears, but also as the city of plurality and multiplicity of cultures. Considering V. S. Naipaul＇s The Mimic Men （1967） in terms of the depiction of London, what comes to the fore is that Naipaul＇s own background has an undeniable impact upon his illustration of London. Naipaul, as an in-between individual belonging to his hometown Trinidad and also to England, where he received his education, has experienced a metaphorical colonization due to his inner conflicts because of his hybridity. In this sense, in The Mimic Men, he creates his character Ralph Singh, who is struggling with the social and political forces and trying to find a place not only in his own country on the Caribbean Island of Isabella, but also among the English in London as a politician. In the novel, London is regarded as the city of freedom and hopes as well as the city of disillusionments and hopelessness. Therefore, in this paper, hybridity, otherness in London, and the influence of Naipaul＇s own biography upon his portrayal of London in The Mimic Men will be explored.

基于男性腰臀裆部NURBS曲面模型的内裤数字化制版

为解决男士内裤版型因前裆凸起量规定模糊而导致内裤裆部不合体的问题,对男性人体建立腰臀裆部曲面仿真模型,依据曲面模型生成合体的数字化内裤版型。运用三维人体扫描仪获取实验对象腰臀裆部点云数据,使用逆向工程软件提取点云数据中能表征腰臀裆部形态的点云坐标集,按照NURBS曲线曲面原理在Solidworks软件中建立腰臀裆部曲面模型并对7块曲面进行展平,以ET服装CAD软件为版片编辑平台生成合体的男士内裤版型。结果表明:从点云数据中提取7个特征截面的点云坐标集构建的曲面模型能够表征腰臀裆部体表形态,数字化男士内裤版型在虚拟试衣和真实试穿中十分贴合男性腰臀裆部形态,内裤服装压强范围在0~2.4 kPa之间,可满足人体舒适性要求,验证显示采用腰臀裆部曲面模型生成数字化内裤版型是合理的,数字化内裤版型更符合人体腰臀裆部形态特征,为合体和贴体服装版型的快速获取提供一种新的方法。
