Explicitation Employed in the Translation of Food Culture—Based on the Research of Fujian Cuisine

Fujian cuisine is a distinctive Chinese cuisine.Today,there are many faults and mistakes in the translation of the dish names,which leads to the failure and inconvenience of cross-cultural communication.The paper is an attempt to probe into the appropriate translation of Fujian dish names by the employment of explicitation.

A Corpus-Based Study on Explicitation in English-Chinese Political Translation

Based on corpus-related software and strategic framework of explicitation translation in applied texts,this paper uses Report on the Work of the Government as an example and explore the explicitation in political texts.According to the research results,political texts have shown explicitation in four sectors of the framework,especially the sector of first person plural pronouns,with quantity,language,culture,and others as influential factors.

The Development of Meta-functional Approaches in Translation Studies

Functional linguistics has exerted an increasing impact on modern linguistic studies.Functional approaches,especially metafunctions have undergone a process of development and improvement.The affirmation of the metafunctions of language has aroused more and more scholars'concern on the"functional"facet of language,especially in Translation studies.The formation and improvement of functional approaches are introduced separately.

The Explicitation and Implicitation of Connectives in E-C Literature Translation:A Corpus-based Case Study on Jane Eyre

This study is aimed to discover the explicitation and implicitation of connectives in literature translation. Based on parallel corpus, two Chinese versions of Jane Eyre are studied from three aspects, Intra-language comparison, inter-language comparison and case study. The findings in the study prove the reliability of Blum-Kulka's(1986) famous explicitation hypothesis, and its possible motivations are fully explored as well.

The Explicitation in English Translation of Chinese Ancient Books from the Perspective of H/L Context Culture

The Chinese culture is classified as high-context culture and the English culture low- context.In classical Chinese,most of the information is either in the physical context or internalized in the person.But mass of the information in English is vested in the explicit code.Chinese ancient books,which are usually filled with cultural factors,need to be explicit to foreign readers who are not familiar with Chinese culture.Besides,the two languages differ in many regards.Therefore,explicitation should be adopted in the translation process in order to meet the needs of the readers,the language and the function of the text.On the basis of analysis of two translation versions of Cai Gen Tan,it is found that three types of explicitation within the translation texts are commonly adopted,which are lexical explicitation,subjects explicitation and that of cohesion and coherence.

An Analysis of the Non-mandatory Explicitation in Two English Versions of Chuanxilu from the Perspective of Poetics

Chuanxilu is a collection of Wang Yangming’s questions&answers and letters on learning.It is a masterpiece of Neo Confucianism since the pre-Qin period.This paper,from the perspective of translation poetics,takes two English versions of Chuanxilu as the main research objects,makes quantitative statistics and qualitative analysis of the non-mandatory explicitation in the translation,aiming to explore the influence of poetics on the translator’s English translation of Chuanxilu,so as to provide some enlightenment for the external translation and interpretation of Wang Yangming’s theory of mind.

Euler’s First-Order Explicit Method–Peridynamic Differential Operator for Solving Population Balance Equations of the Crystallization Process

Using Euler’s first-order explicit(EE)method and the peridynamic differential operator(PDDO)to discretize the time and internal crystal-size derivatives,respectively,the Euler’s first-order explicit method–peridynamic differential operator(EE–PDDO)was obtained for solving the one-dimensional population balance equation in crystallization.Four different conditions during crystallization were studied:size-independent growth,sizedependent growth in a batch process,nucleation and size-independent growth,and nucleation and size-dependent growth in a continuous process.The high accuracy of the EE–PDDO method was confirmed by comparing it with the numerical results obtained using the second-order upwind and HR-van methods.The method is characterized by non-oscillation and high accuracy,especially in the discontinuous and sharp crystal size distribution.The stability of the EE–PDDO method,choice of weight function in the PDDO method,and optimal time step are also discussed.

含J-C损伤的前吸能装置低速碰撞多目标优化

为提升前吸能装置整体碰撞性能,建立了含防撞梁、吸能盒和刚性墙的100%正面低速碰撞有限元显式动力学模型,及前吸能装置多目标优化模型。采用Johnson-Cook损伤本构模拟铝合金材料碰撞损伤特性,以整车最大质心加速度、最大质心位移和吸能装置总质量等评价指标为优化目标,以防撞梁和吸能盒截面的宽度、长度和厚度等7个结构尺寸作为设计变量,以吸能装置最大吸收能量为约束条件。采用NSGA-Ⅱ算法对前吸能装置多目标优化模型进行求解,优化结构与初始设计结构进行40%偏置碰撞对比验证。通过分析100%低速正面碰撞多目标优化结果可知,在整车最大质心位移增加约3%的情况下,最大质心加速度和最大防撞梁碰撞力下降35%以上,前吸能装置减重达23%。由40%低速偏置碰撞对比验证结果可知,整车最大质心加速度、最大质心位移和防撞梁碰撞力峰值等性能参数较优化前下降10%以上。研究结果为前吸能装置碰撞性能优化提供设计参考。

在米兰·昆德拉的长篇小说《生活在别处》中存在着一显一隐双重叙事进程。显性叙事和隐性进程相辅相成、互为补充、并置推进,成为小说叙事的一大亮点。以申丹的“隐性进程”理论为视角,分别从显性叙事和隐性进程两个维度对作品中的三位主要人物进行研究,可以管窥双重叙事进程在人物形象塑造中所起到的重要作用。

An Explicit Difference Scheme with High Accuracy and Branching Stability for Solving Parabolic Partial Differential Equation

This paper presents an explicit difference scheme with accuracy and branching stability for solving onedimensional parabolic type equation by the method of undetermined parameters and its truncation error is O(△t4+△x4). The stability condition is r=a△t/△x2<1/2.

双因子显式二阶积分法

研究了一类超收敛的显式二阶积分方法。该方法从哈密顿体系动力相场出发,利用二阶泰勒展开式,构造了动力时程分析迭代算法的基本格式。采用高斯积分处理在迭代步内荷载项的积分,并引入超收敛因子α和β来提高算法的收敛步长和计算稳定性。该方法避免了整体刚度矩阵的求逆和相乘,因此不需要进行整体刚度矩阵的组集,是一种快速的新型动力显式积分法。引入超收敛因子后,该算法可大幅提高收敛步长,可在理论时间步长下稳定收敛。数值算例表明:双因子超收敛显式二阶积分法比传统精细积分法具有更高算法稳定性和精度;在合适分析步长下可与常用积分算法保持一致的精度和稳定性,且随着分析步长的增大具有更好的精度稳定性。

基于ABAQUS/Explicit的桩腿耦合缓冲器准静态分析

桩腿耦合缓冲器在应用中主要起减小撞击力和限制上下结构相对位移的作用。在设计时,必须考虑到橡胶材料的大变形、橡胶-钢的接触和摩擦问题,它具有几何、材料和边界的三种非线性。通过结构非线性有限元软件ABAQUS/Explicit建立了桩腿耦合缓冲器的三维体单元模型,用基于中心差分法的准静态法,对其在水平和垂直两种工况下的准静力变形过程进行了数值仿真,从能量、接触、刚度与吸能以及应力应变等各方面对计算结果及其合理性进行了分析,并针对现有结构尺寸提出了改进建议。分析表明使用准静态分析方法是可行的,对桩腿耦合缓冲器的优化设计具有一定参考价值。

Explicit Grammar Instruction in L2 Learners'Writing Development:Effective or Ineffective?

It has long been in dispute about whether explicit grammar teaching is more effective in second language learning or implicit grammar teaching is.However,there are more than one factor to take into consideration while discussing which way is better for L2 learners.This short essay aims at depicting three respects concerning grammar teaching,namely learning context,language learners'beliefs and needs,and grammar instruction.When educators and practitioners try to adopt grammar instruction either implicitly or explicitly in L2 learners'writing development,they probably need to consider the above three factors and to find out the best way to produce more effective teaching results among their students.

Implicit Learning and Explicit Learning in Second Language Vocabulary Acquisition

Implicit and explicit learning strategies of SL vocabulary acquisition are summarized based on precious studies and experiments. It is concluded that implicit learning strategies dolittlehelpto SL vocabulary acquisition, but explicit learning strategies play a very important part in SL vocabulary acquisition. Besides, an assumption is proposed: the more obvious explicit learning is in vocabulary acquisition, the more words learners can acquire. It is hoped that this research has certain implications for SL learners and teaching.

一种具有可控数值阻尼的无条件稳定半显式积分算法

结构模型经过有限元方法空间离散化处理之后,可能引入虚假的高频分量,这部分高频分量会对结构的动力响应求解带来不利影响。为此,需要引入算法的数值阻尼有效地抑制这部分虚假的高频分量。使用半显式算法格式,通过匹配隐式ρ_(∞)-Bathe算法放大矩阵的特征方程系数,提出一种具有可控数值阻尼的无条件稳定半显式积分算法,记为NSE(New Semi-Explicit)-ρ_(∞)算法,新算法通过两个自由参数ρ_(∞)和γ控制算法的数值阻尼,并且无需对结构运动方程进行加权处理。对新算法的稳定性、精度、周期延长和振幅衰减等数值特性进行分析,结果表明,新算法对于线弹性体系和非线性刚度软化体系均为无条件稳定。通过具有代表性的数值算例,将新算法与两种具有可控数值阻尼的无条件稳定显式积分算法进行对比,证明新算法能够更加有效地抑制虚假高频分量。

融合生成对抗图卷积网络的社会化推荐算法

针对显性社交关系的嘈杂性问题以及大多数社会化推荐算法忽略好友之间动态变化的问题,提出一种融合生成对抗图卷积网络的社会化推荐算法(AGCN)。在评分信息和显性社交关系上构建用户的潜在好友关系;利用精简高效的图卷积神经网络学习信息的结构特征,以获取用户和产品的深层次特征;采用生成对抗网络动态地构建与用户具有相同喜好的可信好友,惩戒虚假好友,实现好友的动态变化。在Filmtrust与Ciao数据集上的结果表明,与BPR、SBPR、CUNE-BPR和LightGCN算法相比,无论是普通用户还是冷启动用户,该算法均实现了更好的推荐性能。

The Efficacy of Explicit Instruction about Discourse Connectives in English Argumentative Writing on Second-Year Chinese University Students

This study investigated the effect of explicit instruction about DCs in argumentative writings by 15 Chinese learners of English. This study involved in a 4-week experiment. Pre-and post-writing tests were quantitatively analyzed to examine whether the explicit instruction about DCs had a significant effect on the students'argumentative writing. The findings revealed that the ex-plicit instruction of the target DCs facilitated the improvement of the participants in their argumentative writing .

华侨大学华文教育师范生培养方案研究

面对新时代下的华文教育师范生培养需求,以华侨大学为例,分析当前华文教育师范生培养现状,发现其培养方案的不足,从而提出未来华文教育师范生培养方案的改进建议,以期推动我国海外华文教育事业的蓬勃发展。研究发现,目前华文教育师范生培养方案还存在培养层次区分度低、显性课程内部比例不均衡、教材针对性不足、实践不足等问题。为此,未来的华文教育师范生培养方案应细化培养层次、完善显性课程内部结构、更新教材、强化实践等。

Dynamic explicit FE modeling of hot ring rolling process

A new FE modeling method of hot ring rolling was presented by solving key technologies such as contact and heat boundary conditions,motion control over guide rolls,and mass scaling.The method has the following features:1)the elastic-plastic dynamic explicit approach instead of the static implicit approach is adopted to solve the process so as to greatly improve computational efficiency without sacrificing computational accuracy;2)the coupled thermal-mechanical effect is considered as opposed to the conventional isothermal assumption,which is more practical;3)in contrast to the simplified 2D or local 3D ring model,the full 3D ring is modeled to simulate the process.Based on the FE modeling method,two cases of hot plain ring rolling are simulated in the FEA software ABAQUS/Explicit.The simulation results are compared with the experimental measurements and the good agreement between them is observed regarding the material flow and the temperature distribution of the ring.
