Four me...In our previous study, metals have been used as absorbers in the clear plastic laser transmission welding. The effects of metal thermal conductivity on the welding quality are investigated in the present work. Four metals with distinctly different thermal conductivities, i.e., titanium, nickel, molybdenum, and copper, are selected as light absorbers. The lap welding is conducted with an 808 nm diode laser and simulation experiments are also conducted. Nickel electroplating test is carried out to minimize the side-effects from different light absorptivities of different metals. The results show that the welding with an absorber of higher thermal conductivity can accommodate higher laser input power before smoking, which produces a wider and stronger welding seam.The positive role of the higher thermal conductivity can be attributed to the fact that a desirable thermal field distribution for the molecular diffusion and entanglement is produced from the case with a high thermal conductivity.展开更多

According to the model, the adsorption rate constant calculated was 0.107 8 and 0.030 28 min^-1 for Cu^2+ and Cd^2+ respectively. The experimental biosorption equilibrium data for Cu^2+ and Cd^2+ were in good agreement with those calculated by the Langmuir model. The maximum uptake capacity calculated was 83.3 and 112.4 mg/g for Cu^2+ and Cd^2+ according to the Langmuir model, respectively. The appetency of Laminaria japonica to Cu^2+ was better than Cd^2+.展开更多

Based on the periodic topology of each PCMH,...A comparative optimal design of fluid-saturated prismatic cellular metal honeycombs (PCMHs) having different cell shapes is presented for thermal management applications. Based on the periodic topology of each PCMH, a unit cell (UC) for thermal transport analysis was selected to calculate its effective thermal conductivity. Without introducing any empirical coefficient, we modified and extended the analytical model of parallel-series thermal-electric network to a wider porosity range (0.7 ~ 0.98) by considering the effects of two-dimensional local heat conduction in solid ligaments inside each UC. Good agreement was achieved between analytical predictions and numerical simulations based on the method of finite volume. The concept of ligament heat conduction efficiency (LTCE) was proposed to physically explain the mechanisms underlying the effects of ligament configuration on effective thermal conductivity (ETC). Based upon the proposed theory, a construct strategy was developed for designing the ETC by altering the equivalent interaction angle with the direction of heat flow: relatively small average interaction angle for thermal conduction and relatively large one for thermal insulation.展开更多

The results show that the magnetic field can...Based on the closed-orbit theory, the magnetic field effect in the photodetachment of negative ion in the electric field near a metal surface is studied for the first time. The results show that the magnetic field can produce a significant effect on the photodetachment of negative ion near a metal surface. Besides the closed orbits previously found by Duet al. for the H in the electric field near a metal surface (J. Phys. B 43 035002 (2010)), some additional closed orbits are produced due to the effect of magnetic field. For a given ion surface distance and an electric field strength, the cross section depends sensitively on the magnetic field strength. As the magnetic field strength is very small, its influence can be neglected. With the increase of the magnetic field strength, the number of the closed orbits increases greatly and the oscillation in the cross section becomes much more complex. Therefore we can control the photodetachment cross section of the negative ion by changing the magnetic field strength. We hope that our results may guide future experimental studies for the photodetachment process of negative ion in the presence of external fields and surfaces.展开更多

The polarization performance of PBS is discussed by rigorous couple-wave analysis (RCWA) method at a wavelength of 1550 nm. The result shows that sub-wavelength metal rectangular grating is characterized by a high reflectivity, like metal films for TE polarization, and high transmissivity, like dielectric films for TM polarization. Using thi...A new analytical model to describe the drain-induced barrier lowering (DIBL) effect has been obtained by solving the two-dimensional (2D) Poisson's equation for the dual-channel 4H-SiC MESFET (DCFET). Using this analytical model, we calculate the threshold voltage shift and the sub-threshold slope factor of the DCFET, which characterize the DIBL effect. The results show that they are significantly dependent on the drain bias, gate length as well as the thickness and doping concentration of the two channel layers. Based on this analytical model, the structure parameters of the DCFET have been optimized in order to suppress the DIBL effect and improve the performance.展开更多

However, the limited rated current and abil- ity of power dissipation are the critical problems for its wide application. Firstly, the temperature distribution of the liquid metal current limiter (LMCL) was obtained by experiments with a rated current of 1 kA and the arc ignition phenomenon was observed with 1.5 kA, which indicates that the rated current is mainly limited by the arc rather than the high temperature compared to the traditional switchgears. Furthermore, an improved method is proposed by adding the paralleled pure resistance, impedance or another LMCL element to protect the setup from the fault energy concentration in the setup. The problem of a slower arc voltage increasing rate can be solved by adding a paralleled impedance with suitable parameters. Finally, the current limiting properties based on the improved method were investigated and the alternating oscillating current was found between two paralleled LMCL elements owing to their deviation of arc ignition in reality.展开更多

In this manuscript,the perovskite-based metal–oxide–semiconductor field effect transistors(MOSFETs) with phenylC61-butyric acid methylester(PCBM) layers are studied.The MOSFETs are fabricated on perovskites,and ...In this manuscript,the perovskite-based metal–oxide–semiconductor field effect transistors(MOSFETs) with phenylC61-butyric acid methylester(PCBM) layers are studied.The MOSFETs are fabricated on perovskites,and characterized by photoluminescence spectra(PL),x-ray diffraction(XRD),and x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).With PCBM layers,the current–voltage hysteresis phenomenon is effetely inhibited,and both the transfer and output current values increase.The band energy diagrams are proposed,which indicate that the electrons are transferred into the PCBM layer,resulting in the increase of photocurrent.The electron mobility and hole mobility are extracted from the transfer curves,which are about one order of magnitude as large as those of PCBM deposited,which is the reason why the electrons are transferred into the PCBM layer and the holes are still in the perovskites,and the effects of ionized impurity scattering on carrier transport become smaller.展开更多

The mode of crystallization and products of crystallization of the Zr55Cu30Al10Ni5 bulk glass were quite different under different pressure. At ambient pressure, the crystallization products consisted of NiZr2 and CuZr2, while at pressure of 1 GPa and 3 GPa, the alloys crystallized into NiZr2 and Cu10Zr7, respectively. The alloy was nearly not crystallized and only a small amount of Cu10Zr7 was precipitated under 5 GPa. DSC proved that the mode of the crystallization under high pressure was different from that at ambient pressure.展开更多

The heavy metal contaminated soil was leached with water,acetic acid and citric acid,and the pH value of the soil after leaching was adjusted with 2% lime water. Finally,the pH value and conductivity of the soil leacheate were determined. The results showed that the best leacheate was citric acid for the remediation of soil contaminated with heavy metals Cu,Cd and Pb,and the optimum leaching concentration was 1. 0,0. 4,0. 7 mol/L,respectively. For the remediation of soil contaminated with Zn,the best leacheate was acetic acid,and the optimal leaching concentration was 1 mol/L. The leaching effect of lime water on heavy metal contaminated soil was positively correlated with the concentration of organic acid,that is,the leaching effect on heavy metals was better at stronger acidic condition. The conductivity of the soil sample treated with lime water increased with the increase of the concentration of organic acid,and at the same concentration,the conductivity was in the order of citric acid > acetic acid.展开更多

Finally, the current limiting properties based on the improved method were investigated and the alternating oscillating current was found between two paralleled LMCL elements owing to their deviation of arc ignition in reality.

文摘Various biaxial compressive strained GaSb p-channel metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFETs) are experimentally and theoretically investigated, The biaxial compressive strained GaSb MOSFETs show a high peak mobility of 638 cm2/V.s, which is 3.86 times of the extracted mobility of the fabricated GaSb MOSFETs without strain. Meanwhile, first principles calculations show that the hole effective mass of GaSb depends on the biaxial compressive strain. The biaxiai compressive strain brings a remarkable enhancement of the hole mobility caused by a significant reduction in the hole effective mass due to the modulation of the valence bands.

文摘In this manuscript,the perovskite-based metal–oxide–semiconductor field effect transistors(MOSFETs) with phenylC61-butyric acid methylester(PCBM) layers are studied.The MOSFETs are fabricated on perovskites,and characterized by photoluminescence spectra(PL),x-ray diffraction(XRD),and x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).With PCBM layers,the current–voltage hysteresis phenomenon is effetely inhibited,and both the transfer and output current values increase.The band energy diagrams are proposed,which indicate that the electrons are transferred into the PCBM layer,resulting in the increase of photocurrent.The electron mobility and hole mobility are extracted from the transfer curves,which are about one order of magnitude as large as those of PCBM deposited,which is the reason why the electrons are transferred into the PCBM layer and the holes are still in the perovskites,and the effects of ionized impurity scattering on carrier transport become smaller.
文摘1 IntrodutionInterleukin-2(IL-2)was found to selectively keep growth of T lymphocytes for longperiod in vitro in 1976,and was then named T cell growth factor,TCGF.After that,IL-2 was found to promote proliferation of various cells,mainly including T,B,NK,and to in-crease activity of T cell and NK cell.Discovery of its surprising effect in treatment of can-cer,tumor through inducing LAK(lymphokine-activated killer cells)or activating TIL(tumor infiltrated lymphocytes)to kill cancer cell made it very attractive.Therefore it wasfound a wide application in therapy of cancer,immunodeficiency and diseases relating toinfection.However,in its application,problem was found that it had very serious side-effect,and very high dose made the side effect even more serious.The aim of this study was to find a simple way to stabilize IL-2 so as to lower the doserequired in application and in turn to solve the problem.
文摘The effect of pressure on the variation of the crystallization phases of the Zr55Cu30Al10Ni5 bulk glass and its thermal stability under high pressure annealing was investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). The mode of crystallization and products of crystallization of the Zr55Cu30Al10Ni5 bulk glass were quite different under different pressure. At ambient pressure, the crystallization products consisted of NiZr2 and CuZr2, while at pressure of 1 GPa and 3 GPa, the alloys crystallized into NiZr2 and Cu10Zr7, respectively. The alloy was nearly not crystallized and only a small amount of Cu10Zr7 was precipitated under 5 GPa. DSC proved that the mode of the crystallization under high pressure was different from that at ambient pressure.

文摘With the contamination of soil heavy metals becoming more and more serious,remediation has become a hot issue,and it is of great significance to study the remediation effects of heavy metal contaminated soil. The heavy metal contaminated soil was leached with water,acetic acid and citric acid,and the pH value of the soil after leaching was adjusted with 2% lime water. Finally,the pH value and conductivity of the soil leacheate were determined. The results showed that the best leacheate was citric acid for the remediation of soil contaminated with heavy metals Cu,Cd and Pb,and the optimum leaching concentration was 1. 0,0. 4,0. 7 mol/L,respectively. For the remediation of soil contaminated with Zn,the best leacheate was acetic acid,and the optimal leaching concentration was 1 mol/L. The leaching effect of lime water on heavy metal contaminated soil was positively correlated with the concentration of organic acid,that is,the leaching effect on heavy metals was better at stronger acidic condition. The conductivity of the soil sample treated with lime water increased with the increase of the concentration of organic acid,and at the same concentration,the conductivity was in the order of citric acid > acetic acid.

文摘In the course of investigating the catalytic behavior of metal complexes for ring opening metathesis polymerization of cycloolefins, metathesis, hydroformylation and selective hydrogenation of olefins experimental results time and again indicate the presence of effects of macromolecular supports - the utilization of macromolecular supports increases obviously the activity, selectivity, and stability of the catalysts and so as to increase the conversion of substrates, yields of reactions, properties of formed polymers and so on.
