A new series of fully aromatic thermotropic liquid crystalline copolyesters were synthesized by thermal polycondensation of p-hydroxybenzoic acid [PHB], terephthalic acid [TPA], resorcinol [RES] and bis (4-hydroxyphenyl) methanone [BHP]. The DSC traces of copolyesters exhibited two or three endotherms, the low temperature endotherm(Tm) of which indicated the transition from solid state to anisotropic phase. Observation under polarizing microscope and WAXD measurements suggested that the LC-phase formed immediately above Tm had a nematic character. 展开更多

Three phenyl-naphthyl methanone derivatives have been designed and synthesized through alkylation and Friedel-Crafts acylation reactions.All the compounds were characterized by IR,1H NMR,13C NMR and H RMS.The single crystal structure of the compounds has been further determined by X-ray diffraction.(4-Ethoxynaphthalen-1-yl)(2-methylphenyl)methanone(3a)crystallizes in monoclinic system,P21/c space group with a=13.144(3),b=11.041(2),c=11.320(2)?,β=106.65(3)°,V=1573.7(5)?3,Dc=1.225 Mg/m3,Z=4,F(000)=616,μ(MoKα)=0.078 mm-1,R=0.0928 and wR=0.1556.(4-Ethoxynaphthalen-1-yl)(2-hydroxyphenyl)methanone(3b)belongs to the monoclinic system,P21/c space group with a=9.985(2),b=10.814(2),c=14.353(3)?,β=105.49(3)°,V=1493.6(5)?3,Dc=1.300 Mg/m3,Z=4,F(000)=616,μ(MoKα)=0.087 mm-1,R=0.0568 and wR=0.1262.(4-Methoxynaphthalen-1-yl)(4-methylphenyl)methanone(3c)crystallizes in monoclinic system,P21/c space group with a=7.6130(15),b=15.068(3),c=12.880(3)?,β=100.63(3)°,V=1452.1(5)?3,Dc=1.264 Mg/m3,Z=4,F(000)=584,μ(MoKα)=0.081 mm-1,R=0.0804 and wR=0.1349.The presence of van der Waals forces leads to the stability of the compounds.Especially,compounds 3a^c showed herbicidal activity against the monocotyledon plant barnyard grass(Echinochloa crus-galli).At the concentration of 0.75 mmol/m^2,compound 3b(Ct=0.436±0.116 mg/g)exhibited better activity than pyrazoxyfen(Ct=0.537±0.073 mg/g). 展开更多

Novel compounds, (3,6-dichloro-2-nitrophenyl)(3-nitrophenyl)methanone(2), (2-amino-3,6-dichloro- phenyl)(3-aminophenyl)methanone(3) and 1-[3-(2-amino-3,6-dichlorobenzoyl)phenyl]-1H-pyrrole-2,5-dione(4)... Novel compounds, (3,6-dichloro-2-nitrophenyl)(3-nitrophenyl)methanone(2), (2-amino-3,6-dichloro- phenyl)(3-aminophenyl)methanone(3) and 1-[3-(2-amino-3,6-dichlorobenzoyl)phenyl]-1H-pyrrole-2,5-dione(4), were synthesized from the initial compound 2,5-dichlorobenzophenone(1) and characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, IR, mass spectrum and element analysis, respectively. The single crystal of compound 2 was obtained and determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. The single crystal data illustrates that it belongs to the monoclinic system, space group P21/c with a=0.7587(4) nm, b=2.4724(4) nm, c=0.8081(3) nm, α=90°, β=112.85(2)°, γ=90o, V=1.3970(9) nm3, Z=4, Dc=1.622 g/cm3, Mr(C13H6Cl2N2O5)=341.10, μ(Mo Kα)=0.49 mm?1, F(000)=688, the final R=0.048 and wR=0.144 for 1665 observed reflections with I2σ(I). The title molecule forms a "T" type crystal structure and the dihedral angel of the two phenyl rings is 65.0(1)°. 展开更多

A series of indazol-2-yl(pyridin-4-yl)methanones, 4 were acquired from 2,6-bisbenzylidene cyclohex- anones, 3 and anti-tubercular drug (isoniazid), and their anti-tubercular impacts were screened. Among the test compounds used against Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37 Ra cell line in the microplate alamar blue assay, the compounds 4g-j revealed moderate anti-tubercular activity with MIC 12.5 μg/mL, comparable to standard drugs (streptomycin, MIC, 6.25 μg/mL, pyrazinamide, isoniazid and ciprofloxacin with MICs of 3.125 μg/mL). 展开更多
