Novel compact DC-DC converters for pocket micro-controller systems are discussed in the paper, which are based on switched capacitors and inductorless,consequently are more suitable for being hybridized. The new converters en-able the pocket microcontroller system to be powered by only one +12V source,while +5V and -12V are converted from the +12V source. The basic princi-ple, voltage ratio, efficiency and ripples are analysed. Experiment and SPICE simulation are also given, which show positive results. 展开更多

The tenacity of heat-affected zone (HAZ) will decline and the size of grains will increase, because of the overheating on HAZ when submerged are welding (SAW) is ased to thick plate with high heat input. The shaping will worsen when SAW is used to thin plate with high current at high speed. A new SAW technology, the pulsed direct current (DC) automatic SAW, will be put forward in this paper in order to overcome the above shortcomings. And a pulsed controller with micro-controller unit (MCU) as the core, nixie tube (NT) and keyboard as the man-machine conversation interface is developed. The main functions of the pulsed controller include the output of pulsed welding current and the working with twinwire. The research has widely prospects in application with significant meanings in theory and practical engineering. 展开更多

Based on the framework of Colpitts oscillator, a four-dimensional multi-scroll hyperchaotic system is proposed, which generates (2M+1)×(2N+1)-scroll chaotic and hyperchaotic attractors. The key strategy is to increase the number of index-2 equilibrium points by introducing two unit saw-tooth functions to extend and modify the Colpitts oscillator model. By using bifurcation diagram and phase portrait, the dynamical characteristics of the multi-scroll hyperchaotic system are briefly studied. Moreover, micro-controller based circuit realization is introduced and the experimental results dem-onstrate that 7×5-scroll chaotic and hyperchaotic attractors can be obtained in the digital circuit. 展开更多

A heart rate receives from heart beat signals and stores the data to a database and after a time period this method can determine an idle heart rate of the monitoring body. This idle heart rate is compared with the stored data and can determine the normal and abnormal heart rate variability. After the certain time period this system can detect the heart rate and also can send a signal to the user in time of abnormalities.
