Determination of active units with different kinematic property and their activity pattern in North China based on the data from GPS remeasurements 被引量:2

Based on the high-accuracy data obtained from the GPS measurements carried out in 1992, 1995 and 1996, the isochronous active units with different kinematic property inside the North China area have been distinguished, 4 active units and 1 transition zone with distinct differential movement have been determined. They are Ordos-Yinshan unit, Yanshan unit, Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong (Jin-Ji-Lu) unit, Jiaodong-Liaoning-Shandong (Jiao-Liao-Lu) unit and Yanshan-Hebei (Yan-Ji) transition zone. The relative movements among the neighboring units in this period have been given. ① The compressive movement between Ordos-Yinshan unit and Yanshan unit is not obvious with an amount of 0.4(1.3 mm/a.②in-Ji-Lu unit moves E40(S off the Ordos-Yinshan unit and the magnitude is 4.4(1.0 mm/a. ③elative to the Yan-Ji transition zone of differential movement, Yanshan unit shifts W38(N with a value of 2.4(1.3 mm/a and Jin-Ji-Lu unit moves eastward 35( by south with an amount of 2.3(0.9 mm/a. ④Jin-Ji-Lu unit has a tensional left-lateral movement of 4.7(1.4 mm/a in the direction of E37(S relative to Yanshan unit. ⑤ Some area near Tanlu belt which is located in the southern part of Jin-Ji-Lu block has a southward movement 14( by west with a magnitude of 1.5(1.1 mm/a off the Jin-Ji-Lu unit. ⑥ Relative to Jin-Ji-Lu unit, Jiao-Liao-Lu unit has a trend of clockwise movement with a tensional right-lateral motion at the north end which neighbors Yanshan unit and a compressive motion at the south end. It should be noted that the errors given in the paper are obtained based on the divergence among the displacements of the sites in the unit, rather than the value calculated from the displacement error of the sites. The analyzed results indicate that: ① Shanxi tectonic zone and Yan-Ji transition zone are the major tectonic active zones to show the frame and magnitude of interior relative movement in North China area, and others are the secondary tectonic active zones; ② The complete horizontal deformation in the North China area is not homogeneous nor successive; ③ The kinetic model of North China area might be (mantle dragging plus boundary coupling(. 展开更多

To realize forecast of the galloping and provide data for study on the galloping mechanism, this paper proposes an online monitoring system for tracking galloping profile of power transmission lines based on wireless inertial measurement units (WIMUs). The system is composed of three modules: wireless inertial measurement nodes, monitoring base station, and remote monitoring station. After detailing the hardware system, the corresponding software which positions and displays galloping profile of the transmission line in real-time is outlined. The feasibility of the proposed on-line monitoring system is demonstrated through a series of experiments at the State Grid Key Laboratory of Power Overhead Transmission Line Galloping (Zhengzhou, China) by taking into account different vibration patterns. 展开更多

This paper proposes a new algorithm for High Impedance Fault (HIF) detection using Phasor Measurement Unit (PMU). This type of faults is difficult to detect by over current protection relays because of low fault current. In this paper, an index based on phasors change is proposed for HIF detection. The phasors are measured by PMU to obtain the square summation of errors. Two types of data are used for error calculation. The first one is sampled data and the second one is estimated data. But this index is not enough to declare presence of a HIF. Therefore another index introduces in order to distinguish the load switching from HIF. Second index utilizes 3rd harmonic current angle because this number of harmonic has a special behaviour during HIF. The verification of the proposed method is done by different simulation cases in EMTP/MATLAB. 展开更多

Beyond-5G(B5G)aims to meet the growing demands of mobile traffic and expand the communication space.Considering that intelligent applications to B5G wireless communications will involve security issues regarding user data and operational data,this paper analyzes the maximum capacity of the multi-watermarking method for multimedia signal hiding as a means of alleviating the information security problem of B5G.The multiwatermarking process employs spread transform dither modulation.During the watermarking procedure,Gram-Schmidt orthogonalization is used to obtain the multiple spreading vectors.Consequently,multiple watermarks can be simultaneously embedded into the same position of a multimedia signal.Moreover,the multiple watermarks can be extracted without affecting one another during the extraction process.We analyze the effect of the size of the spreading vector on the unit maximum capacity,and consequently derive the theoretical relationship between the size of the spreading vector and the unit maximum capacity.A number of experiments are conducted to determine the optimal parameter values for maximum robustness on the premise of high capacity and good imperceptibility. 展开更多

The translation of culture-specific items(CSI)has been a challenge for translators as well as cited examples for untranslatability.With the analysis of the strategies employed on the Chinese-English translation of measurement unit by Howard Goldblatt in his translation works of different times,this paper discusses the transition from“untranslatable”to“translatable”of certain CSIs.Translation strategies for CSI are also proposed with the consideration of how Chinese culture being introduced into the outside world.The study shows that although Goldblatt clearly advocates“reader-centered”translation,that is,the translator should translate for the target language reader,and emphasizes that the translator can only translate and be responsible for the target language reader,we can still see his efforts to introduce Chinese culture to American readers through his translation. 展开更多

This paper proposes a method for optimal placement of synchronized PMUs (phasor measurement units) in electrical power systems using a MCGA (modified canonical genetic algorithm), which the goal is to determine the minimum number of PMUs, as well as the optimal location of these units to ensure the complete topological observability of the system. In case of more than one solution, a strategy of analysis of the design matrix rank is applied to determine the solution with the lower number of critical measurements. In the proposed method of placement, modifications are made in the crossover and mutation genetic operators, as well as in the formation of the subpopulation, and are considered restrictive hypotheses in the search space to improve the performance in solving the optimization problem. Simulations are performed using the IEEE 14-bus, IEEE 30-bus and New England 39-bus test systems. The proposed method is applied on the IEEE 118-bus test system considering the presence of observable zones formed by conventional measurements. 展开更多

Facing constraints imposed by storage and bandwidth limitations,the vast volume of phasor meas-urement unit(PMU)data collected by the wide-area measurement system(WAMS)for power systems cannot be fully utilized.This limitation significantly hinders the effective deployment of situational awareness technologies for systematic applications.In this work,an effective curvature quantified Douglas-Peucker(CQDP)-based PMU data compression method is proposed for situational awareness of power systems.First,a curvature integrated distance(CID)for measuring the local flection and fluc-tuation of PMU signals is developed.The Doug-las-Peucker(DP)algorithm integrated with a quan-tile-based parameter adaptation scheme is then proposed to extract feature points for profiling the trends within the PMU signals.This allows adaptive adjustment of the al-gorithm parameters,so as to maintain the desired com-pression ratio and reconstruction accuracy as much as possible,irrespective of the power system dynamics.Fi-nally,case studies on the Western Electricity Coordinat-ing Council(WECC)179-bus system and the actual Guangdong power system are performed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.The simulation results show that the proposed method achieves stably higher compression ratio and reconstruction accuracy in both steady state and in transients of the power system,and alleviates the compression performance degradation problem faced by existing compression methods.Index Terms—Curvature quantified Douglas-Peucker,data compression,phasor measurement unit,power sys-tem situational awareness. 展开更多

Owing to the large-scale grid connection of new energy sources, several installed power electronic devices introduce sub-/supersynchronous inter-harmonics into power signals, resulting in the frequent occurrence of subsynchronous oscillations(SSOs). The SSOs may cause significant harm to generator sets and power systems;thus, online monitoring and accurate alarms for power systems are crucial for their safe and stable operation. Phasor measurement units(PMUs) can realize the dynamic real-time monitoring of power systems. Based on PMU phasor measurements, this study proposes a method for SSO online monitoring and alarm implementation for the main station of a PMU. First, fast Fourier transform frequency spectrum analysis is performed on PMU current phasor amplitude data to obtain subsynchronous frequency components. Second, the support vector machine learning algorithm is trained to obtain the amplitude threshold and subsequently filter out safe components and retain harmful ones. Finally, the adaptive duration threshold is determined according to frequency susceptibility, amplitude attenuation, and energy accumulation to decide whether to transmit an alarm signal. The measurement,reporting,and verification(MRV) of climate finance was originated from discussions under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change(UNFCCC).It has been one of the key issues of global climate negotiations since 2009 and will continue to be of significant importance in addressing climate change and strengthening international trust.This paper analyses the concept,the objective,and the progress of the MRV of climate finance based on reviews of the latest literature and think-tank reports regarding climate finance regime and MRV.Following the analysis,challenges faced with the MRV of climate finance are illustrated.This paper presents that the comparability of climate finance data needs to be improved due to the variety of methodologies used for disaggregating climate finance.In addition,the integrality of the MRV system of climate finance has been impaired by the lack of feedback mechanism from the recipients to the contributors in reporting system.Furthermore,although accounting system of climate finance has been developing and improving,it remains incapacity in providing accurate data on disbursed climate finance.Responding to the above challenges,this paper proposes the key tasks in establishing a comprehensive MRV system for climate finance at international level.The tasks involve developing a measurement system with consistent data basis and accounting basis,a reporting system with more detailed guidance and standardized formats,as well as a verification mechanism balancing top-down and bottom-up review processes.In the last section,this paper concludes that the establishment of an improved MRV of climate finance requires concerted cooperation and negotiations between developed and developing country Parties under the UNFCCC.As one of the few developing country donors to the Global Environmental Facility(GEF),China is suggested to clarify its propositions as a developing country in aspects such as concept,coverage,and architecture of climate finance and MRV system,and gain bargaining power in improving operating and technical rules of international climate finance regime. 展开更多

In the world, recent increased disturbances, congestion management problems, and increases of complexity in operating power systems have brought the need for integrations and improvements of power systems. Advanced applications in WAMPAC (wide area monitoring, protection, and control) systems provide a cost effective solution to improve system planning, operation, maintenance, and energy trading. Synchronized measurement technology and the application are an important element of WAMPAC. In addition, PMUs (phasor measurement units) are the most accurate and advanced time-synchronized technology available for WAMPAC application. Therefore, the original measurement system of PMUs has been constructed in Japan. This paper describes the estimation method of a center of inertia frequency by applying actual measurement data. The application of this method enables us to extract power system oscillations from measurement data appropriately. Moreover, this proposed method will help to the clarification of power system dynamics and this application will make it possible to realize the monitoring of power system oscillations associated with the power system stability. 展开更多

针对行人惯性导航系统误差随时间累积致使定位精度严重下降的问题,提出了一种基于足间距信息辅助的行人三维惯性定位算法。该算法在零速修正算法的基础上,利用足部安装的超声波测距模块实时测量行人双足相对距离,构建了基于超声测距的... 针对行人惯性导航系统误差随时间累积致使定位精度严重下降的问题,提出了一种基于足间距信息辅助的行人三维惯性定位算法。该算法在零速修正算法的基础上,利用足部安装的超声波测距模块实时测量行人双足相对距离,构建了基于超声测距的足间距约束模型,通过随机森林算法实现行人运动模式识别,并针对上下楼梯场景,利用台阶高度和足间距信息进行高度解算,最终实现行人三维惯性定位。在实际路线上开展了三维定位实验,数据显示,所提算法平面闭环误差为总路程的0.64%,与零速修正算法相比下降了55.56%,高度误差为0.06 m,与零速修正和气压计联合算法相比下降了64.70%,能够实现导航误差在总路程的0.50%以内的三维定位。实验结果表明,所提算法具有良好的工程应用价值。 展开更多

目的为客观评价轮椅的使用效益,使用表面肌电设备测试轮椅使用过程中的肌电信号,并融合姿势信号IMU来构建人机评价模型。方法分别对轮椅的折叠、刹车方式及行驶坡度进行试验来评估轮椅的使用绩效,通过对比用力肌群间的疲劳状况来判定较... 目的为客观评价轮椅的使用效益,使用表面肌电设备测试轮椅使用过程中的肌电信号,并融合姿势信号IMU来构建人机评价模型。方法分别对轮椅的折叠、刹车方式及行驶坡度进行试验来评估轮椅的使用绩效,通过对比用力肌群间的疲劳状况来判定较为舒适的轮椅折叠及刹车方式。实验要求被试者在执行轮椅任务时,分别使用两种折叠方式和三种刹车方式不同的轮椅进行实验,并在操作动作任务过程中采集sEMG和IMU信号,在实验任务结束后填写NASA-TLX量表。结果根据模型的评价指标对实验数据进行了比较与分析,横向收折式折叠和凹口式刹车(手刹位于前方)的轮椅疲劳度低,在3~4°坡度范围下轮椅使用者的受力最小,较为舒适,从而验证了模型在轮椅人机评价上的可行性,为优化轮椅设计提供参考。结论人机评价模型适用于评估产品绩效,同时提出的融合表面肌电和姿势信息的轮椅绩效评价方法具有较高的精度和准确性,能够有效地评估轮椅使用者的绩效水平。 展开更多

针对微机械惯性测量单元(micro-electro-mechanical-system inertial measurement unit,MIMU)中存在陀螺漂移的g敏感性以及因漂移误差大而无法进行自主方位对准问题,建立了MIMU系统级标定Kalman滤波状态空间模型,考虑g敏感性误差状态的... 针对微机械惯性测量单元(micro-electro-mechanical-system inertial measurement unit,MIMU)中存在陀螺漂移的g敏感性以及因漂移误差大而无法进行自主方位对准问题,建立了MIMU系统级标定Kalman滤波状态空间模型,考虑g敏感性误差状态的影响,在量测方程中加入方位失准角变化率以增强g敏感性的状态估计可观性;直接采用外输入粗略初始方位角进行导航解算,降低地球自转角速度的影响,提高陀螺漂移估计精度。设计了一套完整的系统级标定转位编排方案,陀螺标定和加速度计标定相互依赖,共同协作完成MIMU系统级标定,能够有效分离出所有30个标定参数,利用某型号弹载MIMU进行了实物标定试验验证,分别用标定前后数据进行导航解算,对比导航结算结果发现标定后的3个方向的导航速度都降低了,加速度计的刻度因数和零偏标定精度更高。特别在MIMU存在多轴大角度转动情况下,近10 min内达到优于30 m/s的导航速度精度,验证了系统级标定具有较高的精度。 展开更多
