Application of reaction nitrogen arc cladding TiCN/Fe composite coating on cutter of agricultural machinery 被引量:1

In order to solve the high-price and short-lifetime problems of the cutter of agricultural machinery,and improve the wear resistance of the cutter, the TiCN/Fe metal ceramic composite coating was prepared on the substrate of Q235 steel by reaction nitrogen arc cladding technique. The mixture powder of titanium and graphite was preplaced on the Q235 steel surface after intensive mixing by planetary ball mill and gluing with starch binder. The microstructure and phase of the coatings, interface behavior between coatings and the substrate were investigated by scanning electronic microscope and X-ray diffractometer. The micro-hardness distribution of the coating section was tested by micro-hardness tester. Friction coefficient and wear weight loss were measured by abrasion machine. Wearing surface morphology was investigated by scanning electronic microscope. The results show that an excellent bonding between the coatings and the Q235 steel substrate is ensured by the strong metallurgical interface and phase of the coatings. The coatings are mainly composed of TiCN. The highest micro- hardness of the coatings reaches 1 089 HV0. 2, while the micro-hardness of Q235 steel substrate is only about 286 HV0. 2. The anti-abrasive test results show that the wear resistance of the cladding coating is better than that of quenched and tempered 65 Mn steel which is often used as cutter of agricultural machinery. The field test results show that the TiCN/ Fe metal ceramic composite coating prepared by reaction nitrogen arc cladding is feasible to the manufacture and remanufacture of the cutter of agricultural machinery. 展开更多

An in-situ synthesized TiCN particle reinforce composite coating was fabricated on Q235 steel substrate by nitrogen arc cladding technique, wherein the titanium powder and the graphite powder as original material were intensively mixed by ball-miU and glued with starch binder, then preplaced onto the Q235 steel substrate. The microstructures and interfacial behavior were investigated by scanning electron microscopy. The phase of the coatings was investigated by X-ray diffractometer. The microhardness was tested by microhardness tester. The anti-abrasive pe^Cormance was tested by abrasion machine. The results show that an excellent bonding between the coatings and carbon steel substrate is ensured by the strong metallurgical inteoCace and phases of the coatings are mainly composed of TiCN. The highest microhardness of the coatings reaches 810HV0. 5, which is about 3 times more than that of the Q235 substrate. A prototype of Pulsed Plasma Arc Cladding system was developed, in which single power source supplies both transferred plasma arc (TPA) and non-transferred plasma arc (N-TPA). Both plasmas work in turn in a high frequency controlled by an IGBT connecting nozzle and workpiece. The working frequency of IGBT ranges from 50 ~ 7 000 Hz, in which the plasmas can work in turn smoothly. Higher than 500 Hz of working frequency is suggested for promotion of cladding quality and protection of IGBT. Drag phenomenon of TPA intensifies as the frequency goes up, which tends to increase the current proportion of TPA and suppress N-TPA. The occupation ratio of IGBT can be regulated from 5% ~ 95%, which balances the power supplies of both plasmas. An occupation ratio higher than 50% gives adequate proportion of arc current for N-TPA to preheat powder. 展开更多

Electromagnetic stirring was caused by the interaction between arc plasma and external magnetic field. The grain size was refined and the average hardness was improved. On the base of a group of optimized parameters calculated by orthogonal optimization, some tests were made to study the effects of electromagnetic stirring on hardness and grain size of surfacing layers. It was confirmed that the solidification made of liquid metal could be improved by electromagnetic stirring and hardness and grain size of surfacing layers could be improved. 展开更多

The effect of pulsed gas metal arc welding (GMAW) variables on the dilution and weld bead geometry in cladding X65 pipeline steel with 316L stainless steel was studied. Using a full factorial method, a series of experiments were carried out to know the effect of wire feed rate, welding speed, distance between gas nozzle and plate, and the vertical angle of welding on dilution and weld bead geometry. The findings indicate that the dilution of weld metal and its dimension i.e. width, height and depth increase with the feed rate, but the contact angle of the bead decreases first and then increases. Meantime, welding speed has an opposite effect except for dilution. There is an interaction effect between welding parameters at the contact angle. The results also show forehand welding or decreasing electrode extension decrease the angle of contact. Finally, a mathematical model is contrived to highlight the relationship between welding variables with dilution and weld bead geometry. 展开更多

The results show that the adaptability of the welding procedure for the base metal of carbon steel, the transition layer, and the cladding material is excellent. The test results indicate that the phase proportion and component dilution of the GMAW-welded joints of clad steel plate can be effectively controlled to yield joints with good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. 展开更多

Mn和B元素对电弧熔覆高铬铸铁熔覆层显微组织和耐磨性能的影响

电弧熔覆技术是一种成本低且效率高的再制造技术,而高铬铸铁焊丝是常见的耐磨药芯焊丝体系之一。为了探究Mn和B元素对Q345钢板表面高铬铸铁药芯焊丝电弧熔覆再制造层的组织、硬度和耐磨性能的影响,采用光学显微镜、能谱仪、X射线衍射仪... 电弧熔覆技术是一种成本低且效率高的再制造技术,而高铬铸铁焊丝是常见的耐磨药芯焊丝体系之一。为了探究Mn和B元素对Q345钢板表面高铬铸铁药芯焊丝电弧熔覆再制造层的组织、硬度和耐磨性能的影响,采用光学显微镜、能谱仪、X射线衍射仪、摩擦磨损试验机、超景深显微镜和电子显微镜等对熔覆层的显微组织、元素组成、硬度分布、磨损过程和机理进行了表征分析。结果表明,在电弧熔覆过程中,电解锰和硼铁粉末发生溶解,与熔覆层中元素相互作用形成块状和板条状的初生碳化物及共晶组织。各熔覆层的组织主要有M_(7)C_(3)(M为Fe、Cr和Mn)、M_(3)C、Fe_(23)(C,B)_(6)、马氏体和残余奥氏体等相存在。随着Mn、B含量的增加,熔覆层表面的硬度逐渐上升。增加了质量分数0.70%的Mn元素的熔覆层硬度相对高铬铸铁熔覆层提升10.64%。继续添加质量分数1.20%的B元素,熔覆层表面硬度进一步提升。熔覆层表面耐磨性随着Mn和B含量的增加呈现出先上升后下降的趋势。C、Mn和B的质量分数分别为4.00%、0.80%和0.80%熔覆层的耐磨性能最高,为Q345的23.06倍。 展开更多

【目的】为探究分体等离子弧增材制造过程中工艺参数对立向增材成形的影响,以单道熔覆层宽度和高度为评价指标对其展开研究。【方法】基于构建的立向分体等离子弧增材制造系统,通过单因素变量法研究了立向位置时丝/总电流比、离子气流... 【目的】为探究分体等离子弧增材制造过程中工艺参数对立向增材成形的影响,以单道熔覆层宽度和高度为评价指标对其展开研究。【方法】基于构建的立向分体等离子弧增材制造系统,通过单因素变量法研究了立向位置时丝/总电流比、离子气流量、丝材端部位置等工艺参数对熔覆层成形的影响,分析了工艺参数与基板热输入和熔敷率的关联机制。【结果】结果表明,当总电流保持不变时,丝材电流的增加会显著改善熔覆层成形,熔覆层宽度减小、高度增加;当离子气流量增加时,电弧等离子流力增强,使熔覆层宽度增加、高度减小;当送丝速度增加时,丝材端部靠近电弧中心,传质增加、传热减小,使熔覆层宽度减小、高度增加;丝材电流增加时,通过改变系统热、质、力的传输使熔覆层尺寸变化,而基板电流增加时,仅通过改变热、力传输使熔覆层尺寸变化。【结论】当总电流不变时,可采用提高丝/总电流比、减小离子气流量、丝材端部位置远离基板等措施减小基板的热输入并提高熔覆率,或直接增加丝材电流以提高熔覆率,进而实现高效增材制造。该研究将为分体等离子弧增材制造工艺在空间位置增材制造领域的拓展应用提供一定的理论指导。 展开更多

电弧熔覆韧-硬复合层工艺及性能研究

目的为增强Q960E钢表面的使用性能、减少裂纹的产生,设计并制备了一种韧-硬复合梯度过渡熔覆层。方法通过实验比对,选出了适合的过渡层与高硬层熔覆材料。首先选择XY-26F-104合金粉末作为熔覆材料,用TIG焊将材料熔覆在基板上作为过渡层... 目的为增强Q960E钢表面的使用性能、减少裂纹的产生,设计并制备了一种韧-硬复合梯度过渡熔覆层。方法通过实验比对,选出了适合的过渡层与高硬层熔覆材料。首先选择XY-26F-104合金粉末作为熔覆材料,用TIG焊将材料熔覆在基板上作为过渡层,其次采用CO_(2)气体保护焊在过渡层上熔覆YD557堆焊焊丝获得高硬层。通过优化熔覆工艺得到无裂纹、无气孔、成形良好的熔覆层。对获得的梯度过渡熔覆层进行组织分析、硬度和冲击韧性等测试。结果基体-过渡层-高硬层两两之间产生了良好的冶金结合,熔覆层中无明显缺陷产生。微观形貌分析结果表明,在过渡层中有胞状晶与胞状枝晶产生,高硬层主要由板条马氏体组成。硬度测试结果表明,基体硬度为350HV,高硬层的平均硬度为620HV,过渡层平均硬度为480HV,过渡层硬度处于高硬层硬度与基板硬度之间,各部分硬度的梯度分布既提高了复合板的耐磨性,又增强了复合板的韧性。在冲击性能测试中,基体的平均冲击吸收功为34 J,复合板的平均冲击吸收功为68.48 J,为基体的2.5倍。在摩擦磨损实验中,基材的磨损质量为15.1 mg,而熔覆层的磨损质量仅为4.2 mg,基体的磨损质量为熔覆层的3.59倍;熔覆层平均摩擦因数为0.3987,相较于基材的降低了0.0728;熔覆层的磨损机制为磨粒磨损,基材的磨损机制为黏着磨损。结论设计的复合梯度熔覆层既能提高表面的使用性能,又能增强熔覆层的韧性,减少裂纹的产生。 展开更多

TiB_(2)含量对TiB_(x)/Ti合金涂层组织及摩擦学性能的影响

目的在Ti-47Zr-5Al-3V(以下简称T47Z)表面制备TiB_(x)/Ti合金复合涂层,以提高合金的摩擦学性能。方法采用等离子弧熔覆技术在T47Z合金表面熔覆不同配比的(TiB_(2)+Ti)粉末,制备TiB_(x)陶瓷相增强钛合金复合涂层,使用扫描电镜(SEM)、X射... 目的在Ti-47Zr-5Al-3V(以下简称T47Z)表面制备TiB_(x)/Ti合金复合涂层,以提高合金的摩擦学性能。方法采用等离子弧熔覆技术在T47Z合金表面熔覆不同配比的(TiB_(2)+Ti)粉末,制备TiB_(x)陶瓷相增强钛合金复合涂层,使用扫描电镜(SEM)、X射线衍射仪(XRD)、维氏硬度显微计和UMT-2摩擦磨损试验机对涂层微观组织、硬度及摩擦磨损性能进行测试研究。结果涂层厚度约2 mm,无裂纹、气孔等缺陷,涂层的基体组织为α相,针状、棒状的TiB增强相和颗粒状的TiB_(2)增强相均匀分布于α相中。随着TiB_(2)含量的增加,涂层基体组织无明显变化,增强相的数量增加,尺寸逐渐变大。涂层的表面硬度最高可达893.4HV0.2,约为基体的2.07倍。涂层的耐磨性相较基体均获得不同程度的提升,当TiB_(2)的质量分数为40%时,涂层的耐磨性提升最为显著,相较基体提高了53.7%。T47Z合金的磨损机理为严重的黏着磨损和磨粒磨损。TiB_(2)的质量分数为10%的涂层,其磨损机理以黏着磨损为主,磨粒磨损为辅。随着TiB_(2)含量的增加,涂层的磨损机制逐渐转向磨粒磨损。结论通过控制粉体中TiB_(2)的含量,能够利用等离子弧熔覆技术在钛合金表面制备TiB_(x)/Ti合金复合涂层,尤其当TiB_(2)的质量分数为40%时,涂层的硬度及耐磨性能均获得大幅度提升。因此,运用等离子熔覆技术制备陶瓷相增强金属基复合涂层可切实有效地提高钛合金的硬度及耐磨性能。 展开更多

针对12Cr2Mo1V钢加氢反应器壳体凸台采用单丝埋弧焊进行堆焊、制造效率低的问题,研究了采用附加填充丝埋弧焊的焊接方法堆焊12Cr2Mo1V材质凸台本体的工艺可行性。研究结果表明,在12Cr2Mo1V钢上采用附加填充丝埋弧焊进行本体堆焊,焊接工... 针对12Cr2Mo1V钢加氢反应器壳体凸台采用单丝埋弧焊进行堆焊、制造效率低的问题,研究了采用附加填充丝埋弧焊的焊接方法堆焊12Cr2Mo1V材质凸台本体的工艺可行性。研究结果表明,在12Cr2Mo1V钢上采用附加填充丝埋弧焊进行本体堆焊,焊接工艺性良好;其工艺评定试验的各项力学性能完全满足母材的要求,特别是-30℃夏比KV_(2)型缺口冲击试验冲击值均≥54 J,抗回火脆化倾向评定试验结果均满足v Tr54+3Δv Tr54≤0℃的要求。与单丝埋弧堆焊相比,两枪六丝附加填充丝埋弧堆焊凸台可提高生产效率200%~250%。该项工艺研究在满足加钒钢凸台性能的前提条件下,能极大缩短凸台制造周期、节能减排,为加氢反应器先进绿色制造的发展提供了新的制造手段。 展开更多

为了提高再制造修复铝合金的服役性能特别是疲劳性能和抗腐蚀性能,以轨道交通用具有代表性的Al-Zn-Mg合金板材为研究对象,在研究合金疲劳行为的基础上模拟实际服役条件对合金造成的损伤。通过不同的电弧熔覆工艺和激光冲击强化技术对产... 为了提高再制造修复铝合金的服役性能特别是疲劳性能和抗腐蚀性能,以轨道交通用具有代表性的Al-Zn-Mg合金板材为研究对象,在研究合金疲劳行为的基础上模拟实际服役条件对合金造成的损伤。通过不同的电弧熔覆工艺和激光冲击强化技术对产生裂纹的样品合金进行修复,综合比较了修复前后合金的服役性能差异。研究发现,与传统电弧熔覆相比,结合激光冲击强化的电弧熔覆能显著提高合金的疲劳抗力和耐蚀性,电弧熔覆结合激光冲击强化的样品在低应力因子强度范围内展现出更低的疲劳裂纹扩展速率,并在高应力因子强度范围仍维持较低的扩展速率,显著提升了疲劳寿命,同时也降低了晶间腐蚀深度,增强了合金的抗腐蚀性能。该研究结果可为轨道交通用铝合金结构件的服役寿命延长和腐蚀控制提供理论依据和科学指导。 展开更多

A wear resistant (Cr, Fe)7C3/γ-Fe ceramalcomposite coating wasfabricatedon substrate of a 0.45% C carbon steel by plasma transferred arc (PTA) cladding process using the Fe-Cr-C elemental powder blends. The microstructure, microhardness and dry sliding wear resistance of the coating were evaluated. Results indicate that the plasma transferred arc clad ceramal composite coating has a rapidly solidified microstructure consisting of blocky primary (Cr, Fe)7C3 and the interblocky ( Cr, Fe)7C3/γ-Fe eutectics and is metallurgically bonded to the 0.45%C carbon steel substrate. The ceramal composite coating has high hardness and excellent wear resistance under dry sliding wear test condition. 展开更多

A wear-resistant (Cr, Fe)7C3/γ-Fe in situ ceramal composite coating was fabricated on the substrate of 0.45wt%C carbon steel by a plasma-transferred arc cladding process using the Fe-Cr-C elemental powder blends. The microstructure, microhardness, and dry-sliding wear resistance of the coating were evaluated. The results indicate that the microstructure of the coating, which was composed of (Cr, Fe)7C3 primary phase uniformly distributed in the γ-Fe, and the (Cr, Fe)7C3 eutectic matrix was metallurgically bonded to the 0.45wt%C carbon steel substrate. From substrate to coating, the microstructure of the coating exhibited an evident epitaxial growth character. The coating, indehiscent and tack-free, had high hardness and appropriate gradient. It had excellent wear resistance under the dry sliding wear test condition. 展开更多

A multi-functional micro-arc plasma spraying system was developed according to aerodynamics and plasma spray theory. The soft switch IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) invert technique, micro-computer control technique, convergent-divergent nozzle structure and axial powder feeding techniques have been adopted in the design of the micro-arc plasma spraying system. It is not only characterized by a small volume, a light weight, highly accurate control, high deposition efficiency and high reliability, but also has multi-functions in plasma spraying, welding and quenching. The experimental results showed that the system can produce a supersonic flame at a low power, spray Al2O3 particles at an average speed up to 430 m/s, and make nanostructured AT13 coatings with an average bonding strength of 42.7 MPa. Compared to conventional 9M plasma spraying with a higher power, the coatings with almost the same properties as those by conventional plasma spray can be deposited by multi-functional micro-arc plasma spraying with a lower power plasma arc due to an improved power supply design, spray gun structure and powder feeding method. Moreover, this system is suitable for working with thin parts and undertaking on site repairs, and as a result, the application of plasma spraying will be greatly extended. 展开更多
