Eudragit L100 based microspheres loaded with bovine serum albumin were prepared by solid in oil in oil emulsion solvent evaporation method using acetone and liquid paraffin system containing sucrose stearate as a surfactant. The fabricated microspheres were evaluated for encapsulation efficiency, particle size, production yield, and in vitro release characteristics. The internal structures of microspheres were characterized using synchrotron radiation X-ray microcomputed tomography(SR-μCT). The enhanced contrast made the sucrose stearate distinguished from Eudragit to have its three dimensional(3D) distribution. Results indicated that the content and concentration determined the state of sucrose stearate and had significant influences on the release kinetics of protein. The dispersity of sucrose stearate was the primary factor that controlled the structure of the microspheres and further affected the encapsulation efficiency, effective drug loading, as well as in vitro release behavior. In conclusion, the 3D internal distribution of surfactant in microspheres and its effects on protein release behaviors have been revealed for the first time. The highly resolved 3D architecture provides new evidence for the deep understanding of the microsphere formation mechanism.展开更多

A correction factor based double model fuzzy logic controller （FLC） was introduced to achieve welding digital and intellectualized control by means of wire feeding speed feedback. The controller has many functions such as keyboard input, light emitting diode （LED） display and real-time intellectualized control of welding process etc. The controlling performance influenced by the coefficient of correction function was discussed. It was concluded by the experiments the relation between the coefficient of correction function and welding quality, when the coefficient of correction function is great, the dynamic character of controller is better, when the coefficient of correction function is small, the sensitivity character of controller is better. Experimental results also show that digital and fuzzy logic control method enable the improvement of appearance of weld and stability of welding process to be achieved in submerged arc automatic welding.展开更多

The stepping arc stud welding gun was mainly made by a stepping motor as actuating unit and a screw-driven device as moving unit. A control system with a MCS-51 single-chip microcomputer as main control component was used to realize the new stud welding procedure. This new welding process with stepping stud welding gun is named as stepping arc stud welding. In the new welding process, the stud action can be looked as constituted by some micro steps. The setting and adjusting of the stepping arc welding gun behavior parameters are accomplished independently. This article reports on a retrospective analysis on 121 patients and a prospectivestudy on 21 patients with acute cholangitis of severe type(ACST)for a study on the timing se-lection of emergency operation for ACST.Tw...This article reports on a retrospective analysis on 121 patients and a prospectivestudy on 21 patients with acute cholangitis of severe type(ACST)for a study on the timing se-lection of emergency operation for ACST.Twenty two clinical,biological,etiologic,pathologicand operative variables were analyzed.Simple regression revealed 11 factors with prognosticsignificance,but multivariate analysis detected only 6 factors with independent significance inpredicting mortality(age,mean blood pressure,generalized peritonitis,serum albumin-globin ra-tio,blood culture,and the number of failed organs and systems).The results indicate that theclinical principles of treatment for ACST should be the combination of medical and surgicaltreatment.Active conservative treatment is practically applicable to the majority of ACST,espe-cially,those with short history and few complication.Prognostic mathematical model of ACSTdoes good for its timing selection of emergency operation.A critical level of 0.40 is determinedto be the discriminant score for emergency bile duct drainage.The model seems to have advan-tages over the traditional method.展开更多
