In recent years,with the global climate change,the frequency and duration of high temperature in summer and autumn have increased,causing high temperature heat damage to summer crops such as rice and maize.From the end of July to early August is the main period of high temperature occurrence,during which the daily average temperature above 30℃is a high probability event,and even the highest temperature is above 38℃,while this period coincides with the booting-blooming-filling stage of the single-season middle rice in Jianghuai,especially the middle-season indica rice,so it often leads to the degradation of rice spikelets,pollen abortion,difficulty in pollen dispersion,and even difficulty in heading,resulting in a serious decline in the seed setting rate and poor filling of grains,which finally affect the yield and quality.Based on the goal of high-yielding high-quality rice cultivation,this paper proposed targeted technical measures for single-season middle rice from the aspects of planting time sequence optimization,selection of high-temperature-resistant varieties,population construction,fertilizer and water management technology,and how to compensate for the occurrence of unexpected disasters to promote plant growth.This study provides technical support for high-yielding high-quality stress-resistant and disaster-reducing rice cultivation technology. 展开更多

The history of international industrialization shows that Latin American countries and former Soviet Union and Eastern European countries experienced a siginificant drop in economic growth and fell into the middle-income trap when their per capita GDP reached 4,000-7,000 international dollar (based on the 1990 prices) as a result of long-term implemented import-oriented strategy and planned economic system. Fortunately, China adopted reform and opening-up policy beginning at a lower development phase and achieved sustained high-speed growth for more than thirty years. Currently, China has surpassed the phase which the above-mentioned countries fell into the middle-income trap. On the other side, experiences of successful runner-ups show that when per capita GDP reached II,000 international dollar (based on the 1990 prices), economic growth speed will present regularly "natural drop ". Without internal and external shocks, China's economy is expected to reach this level by 2015 and the potential growth rate will possibly drop significantly. In this regard, China's toughest challenges will be whether it can effectively prevent and solve the financial risks accumulated during high-speed growth and make a shift to innovation-driven growth model Time is pressing for addressing the above challenges. Nowadays, more than 50% of the world population live in middle-income economies. Economies in the middle-income development stage are confronted with a number of challenges, such as economic restructuring, industrial upgrade and income growth. Therefore, academia around the worm have paid much attention to theoretical and empirical researches of the "middle income trap" and long-term trends of global economic growth. Based on analyses about the long-term growth path of the world economy and the characteristics of different stages of economic development, this paper defines the"middle income trap" and its characteristics and examines, through a large number of cases from different economies, the reasons why "growth slowdown" arises during the middle-income development stage. This paper analyzed the causes for the middle income trap of Latin American economies. On this basis,it came up with recommendations for China's leaping paths,including accelerating the structural reforms on the supply front to promote industrial transformation and upgrading,deepening the reform and increasing the efficiency with institutional innovation as the core,protecting legitimate property rights,reforming the income distribution,combining accurate poverty alleviation,narrowing the gap between the rich and the poor,performing administration according to laws,vigorously developing education,expanding the opening up,and keeping sustainable growth,so as to successfully leap over the middle income trap. 展开更多

Firms need cloud computing adoption for strategic and competitive goals, generating business value, and at last gaining competitive advantage. This study reviews the literature regarding cloud computing and IT governance, and presents a research model along with its hypotheses formulation to examine the factors impacting cloud computing perceived importance in several Arab firms, specifically Jordan, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates by using the integration of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) model and Technology-Organizational-Environmental (TOE) framework as adapted from [1]. 329 returned surveys from top, middle-level IT managers, and IT employees from the operational level of the studied firms were analyzed using the structural equation modeling technique. The study found relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, organizational readiness, top management commitment, and training and education as important variables for impacting cloud computing adoption using perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness as mediating variables. The model explained 61%, 63%, and 74% of cloud computing adoption for perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and perceived importance respectively. 展开更多

为了开发长穗偃麦草的特异标记,依据TRAP技术,利用56对固定引物与随机引物的组合对中国春-长穗偃麦草附加系等材料进行PCR扩增,共筛选出160条分布于长穗偃麦草1E-7E染色体的特异扩增片段。通过对104个片段的序列进行同源比对,选择与小... 为了开发长穗偃麦草的特异标记,依据TRAP技术,利用56对固定引物与随机引物的组合对中国春-长穗偃麦草附加系等材料进行PCR扩增,共筛选出160条分布于长穗偃麦草1E-7E染色体的特异扩增片段。通过对104个片段的序列进行同源比对,选择与小麦无同源序列的区段设计138对引物,分别对中国春、长穗偃麦草、中国春-长穗偃麦草附加系进行PCR扩增,最终获得30个长穗偃麦草特异SCAR标记,发展标记的效率为53.6%。利用这些特异SCAR标记对硬粒小麦(AABB)与异源六倍体小麦(AABBEE)杂交产生的F2中38个单株进行扩增鉴定,9个单株仅附加了1条相同的E染色体,其余为多条E染色体或者无E染色体附加。这些SCAR标记在不同材料和世代表现出优越的特异性和稳定性,可用于检测小麦背景中附加的相关长穗偃麦草染色体。 展开更多

Are the Green TBTs a Stimulus or a Trap for Enterprises’Green Technology Development?

Green trade barriers are often seen as a catalyst that promotes exporting countries to develop green technologies.However,by distinguishing the green technology behavior of enterprises into green technology transformation and green technology innovation,this paper finds that although green trade barriers can encourage enterprises in exporting countries to increase investment in green technology transformation in order to obtain rapid market access,they crowd out the resources of green technology innovation of enterprises.In other words,green trade barriers will strengthen enterprises’dependence on the introduction of green technologies,weaken their innovation capabilities,and increase the risk of being locked in the middle of the global industrial chain,creating a trap effect.Using the data of enterprises in the heavily polluting industry of A-shares from 2009 to 2021,this paper confirms the existence of the trap effect.In addition,this paper finds that due to the infl uence of short-sightedness of managers,alleviating corporate financing constraints can enhance the promotion effect of green trade barriers on the green technological transformation of enterprises,but cannot reduce its inhibiting effect on green technology innovation.The study also finds that even if the time window is extended to the medium and long term,green trade barriers cannot have a significant positive impact on enterprises’green technology innovation.Therefore,the government should not overestimate the role of green trade barriers in encouraging green development and green technology innovation,nor should it rely too much on loose financing policies.In contrast,government should formulate targeted industrial policies to help enterprises overcome green trade barriers through technological innovation. 展开更多

Despite the identification of the potato tuber moth Phthorimaea operculella(Zeller)sex pheromone,no effective application based on this pheromone has yet been developed and evaluated.This study investigated the effect of pheromone lures,trap densities,heights of trap deployment,and pheromone doses in Yunnan,China,for the purpose of increasing the control efficiency of P.operculella and improving the application of pheromone technology in the field.The results showed that lures made of corn oil and red PVC pipes attracted the highest number of moths(11.73±1.90 per trap per day).Sex pheromone loading of 100μg was optimal for trapping moths,but higher doses of pheromone inhibited attraction.The density of traps did not affect capture rates;therefore,the optimum trap density was 30–40 traps ha^(–1).The optimum height of trap deployment was not above the height of the plant canopy.This study provides technical details necessary for the monitoring and control of potato tuber moth using sex pheromones. 展开更多

The long-term stable growth of the western economy was broken,and it is mired into the so-called " high-income trap". This paper argues that the reasons why developed countries fall into the " high income trap" can be summarized as three aspects: internal factors,external factors and fundamental reasons. On this basis,this paper analyzes the response strategies and effects of developed countries,in order to provide a reference for our country to be a high-income country while maintaining sustained and stable economic growth. 展开更多
