The Renditions Series and Modern Chinese Literature’s “Going-out”: Its Model and Enlightenment of Translation, Communication and Dissemination

In the process of Chinese Literature’s “Going-out” project, it istypical of the dilemma faced by the external translation and dissemination of modernChinese literature. Cristina Campo, the Aristocrat of Modern Literature: On Autobiographical Instance in Her Literary Work

＂New＂ Translations of Japanese Literature： Socio-cultural Impacts on the Japanese Mind

In terms of translation theory today, the essential discussions of ＂otherness＂, coupled with the agenda of bilateral approaches to its untranslatability, are much more intense than ever. The stereotypical images of Japan as something quite alien yet enchanting in Japanese literature, in The Tale of Genji for instance, are drastically different from those in modem novels, where the experience of conflicts with the West in the course of modernization could not be ignored. Shusaku Endo＇s Silence for example, paradoxically questions the translatability of Christianity in the historical context of the Japanese mind. By reading some translated texts of Japanese literature, we come to be aware of the essential factors of＂otherness＂ inherent in Japanese culture and language which, in some socio-cultural ways, has had an interesting effect on Japanese minds. With the growing interest in ＂world literature,＂ ＂otherness＂ and ＂untranslatability＂ illuminated in the translations of Japanese literature offer a new perspective with which we can re-think our sense of history of modernization on the one hand; and re-evaluate the uniqueness of Japanese language on the other. The remarkable influence of translators whose mother tongue is not Japanese, but who have an excellent command of the language, enables a new Japanese culture to emerge. This is evident in the works of Arthur Binard, an American poet and translator, who enthusiastically criticizes the Japanese policy of atomic energy in his translations of the Japanese poems after World War II, and in the very inspiring essays on Japanese by Roger Pulvers, an Australian writer and playwright who won prizes for his translations of Kenji Miyazawa. Along with such new trend of translations of Japanese literature, how it affects the Japanese mind will be discussed.

Modem Iranian Literature： The Historical and Present Development of the Short Story Genre

The following article is about the historical overview of the Persian literature and the emergence and development of the short story as a literary genre and its prominent role in the modem literature of Iran. It discusses the origin of the short story in general and preconditions for the popularity of the new genre the Iranian literature of the 20th century, and also about the first successful collection of short stories that introduced it to the public. Also the development process of the short story and principle factors in every stage of its emergence as an independent genre of prose, as well as the thematic range are the main aspects among others to be analyzed in the article. It is historically documented that the Islamic state was established in 1979 after the fall of the Shah. And the very event had big impact not only on the social and political life of the country, but also on the cultural and literary life of the Iranians of the time. The significance of the revolution was such that it divided the literature to be known as the ＂pre-revolution＂ and ＂post-revolution＂ periods. Therefore this article is aimed to observe how this historic event had influenced the short story in particular and the distinct features of the works created during the two periods. The next period which stands out in the development of the short story is during the late 90s and the beginning of the 2000, where the genre experienced aesthetic innovations and experiments with new forms and styles. The distinct feature of the period is mainly in its topics it deals, among other the effects of the globalization and popular culture brought forth, isolated individual, urbanization, climate change and its destructive outcome and the social conflicts resulting from them. Such global issues caused the established writers to look out of their borders and open up to the concerns of the planet, and by doing so establishing new schools of thought and style among the writers of short story in modem Iranian literature. Finally the article will overview the role of the Iranian contemporary female short story writers, children＇s literature and the works of the immigrant Iranian authors that continue the traditions of the Persian literature outside Irma.

Analysis of publication dissemination of Chinese present current literature work English translation and research methodologies

As a systematic work, there are very close links between the various aspects of the English translation of Chinese modern and contemporary literary works, whether they are translated into the main body, translated content and other links, or a specific translation approach, are not segmentation. 从网络文学到IP衍生:后期现代语境中民俗符号的表达转向

后期现代已成为当今人文科学研究的重要话语语境。网络文学及其IP衍生是“现代学”民俗的两个重要领域。随着融合媒介的成熟,按照其所蕴涵的三层逻辑,网络文学及其IP衍生两个领域中的民俗符号在技术层、主体层、空间层分别发生了表达转向。民俗符号化再现媒介从由语言系统规训的网络文学这一需要深读的“记谱媒介”转换为IP衍生中更符合当今图像化追求的“感官性媒介”;民俗话语主体发生变动,网络文学作者群作为民俗符号表达的话语主体在文学范围外让位于商业精英群,民俗文化产业的边界不断拓宽;民俗符号是文化空间中具有民俗性和艺术性的符号,其经由审美从网络文学“准不可能世界”化入实在世界的“日常生活”,使民众达到“超脱庸常”的境界。“现代学”层面的民俗符号在将来会激活更多意想不到的妙处,而民俗学研究也需要“新尺度和新形态”。

中国现当代旧体文学史料学:问题与对策

21世纪以来,中国现当代文学研究中的新旧二元对立模式不断被消解,以旧体诗词为代表的现当代旧体文学越来越受到学界重视,许多现当代文学史著作开始尝试将旧体文学整体性地纳入文学史叙述。由于史料学是史学的基础,所以要编写中国现当代旧体文学史,就必须以建立中国现当代旧体文学史料学为前提。已有的中国现当代文学史料学主要是新文学史料学,只有建立比较完备的旧体文学史料学,新旧合璧,才能使中国现当代文学史料学名副其实。现当代旧体文学史料大致上可划分为以作家为中心的社会生活史料;以作品为中心的文学创作史料;以读者为中心的文学传播与接受史料。只有正视现当代旧体文学史料工作,才能推进现当代文学研究由新文学本位向新、旧文学双重本位转变。在综合运用古典文献学方法进行现当代旧体文学史料研究方面,目前编纂学和注释学的应用成效比较显著,而对目录学、版本学、考证学、辑佚学、辨伪学等方法的运用还存在很大的学术空间,可以产生诸多学术增长点。只有坚持并发扬中国传统的朴学精神,在史料工作上走社会化和现代化的道路,才能把方兴未艾的中国现当代旧体文学史料学推向新的学术高度。

中国现代“作家论”的多维审视及其文学史意义

中国近代文学与郭嵩焘研究的盛会——中国近代文学高峰论坛暨全国郭嵩焘学术研讨会综述

2023年9月22—24日,“中国近代文学高峰论坛暨全国郭嵩焘学术研讨会”在长沙与岳阳两地同时召开。本次会议围绕近代湖南文学、中国近代文学与郭嵩焘三个主要议题展开深入且富有成效的研讨,取得了丰硕成果,呈现出研究主体多元化、研究内容广、研究具有时代性与文化性、会议模式新颖等特征,推进与深化了学界对中国近代文学与郭嵩焘的研究,对今后的相关研究也具有较大的启发意义。

档案视角下的文学社团与文学流派研究

档案文献作为第一手材料,在文学研究中的价值日益凸显。然而,相较于文学研究的其他视角,档案视角下的文学社团与流派研究尚显不足。通过系统挖掘档案文献,借助档案特有的立体性、关联性视角,从文献、理论、方法等层面开展文学社团与文学流派研究。一方面,利用档案材料重新梳理文学社团、流派的发展脉络,深入剖析其内部运作机制、社会影响力等,力图重塑社团、流派在文学史上的形象;另一方面,尝试运用档案文献重构文学社团、文学流派的思想谱系与人际交往网络,揭示其生成、传播的多元路径,由此拓宽相关研究的理论视野。

基于大数据交汇的中医“治未病”知识服务与临床应用系统构建

目的探讨中医治未病知识库与知识挖掘系统的构建思路和应用方法。方法以中医理论为指导,首先梳理中医治未病知识体系,根据中医治未病分类方法,设计中医治未病知识库结构及其关系;其次从治未病研究的需求出发,拟定中医治未病数据库的古今文献数据来源及知识采集方法;之后在治未病分类体系框架下,对核心知识进行专业标注、关系提取、知识审核等方面进行研究,并引入多种数据挖掘算法对知识进行分析发掘;最后将获得的海量资料与大数据分析、计算机机器学习相结合,从而实现智能化信息采集、病情分析和诊疗建议。结果在中医理论指导下的中医治未病知识库能够数字化、数据化、知识化的保存中医治未病基础知识、临床知识,并可以客观化的进行数据挖掘分析,为开展中医治未病知识服务和共享提供基础。结论中医治未病知识库是进行中医治未病知识数字化存储的重要方式,为中医治未病研究提供文献知识支撑和数据挖掘的客观化证据。

The Pursuit of the Source of Romantic Modernity and New Modern Romanticism

Based on the romantic literary theory,this paper studies the signs of the modern romantic literature. Scholars have tried to connect the issues of romanticism with those of modernity since the climax of the post - modernist cultural studies. With the increasingly deep discussion of post - modernism,people happen to find that romanticism revived quietly in the so - called post - modernist aesthetic purpose and interest. It is not difficult to find in all sorts of discussions of post - modernism the trace of many problems and the thinking styles where romanticism has been involved. The seemingly same source lies in the problems of modernity, which has aroused widespread concerns from the academia. In this paper,the author believes that romantic literature focuses on portraying typical characters to express their emotional tendency. Modernity,especially aesthetic modernity,expands a new vision for us to re - examine romanticism. In other words,to study the signs of modernity from romanticism can blaze a new path for the study of modernity.
