In order to know about the essence of service employees' innovation behavior, the service employees' innovation behavior scale based on their unique characteristics is designed. Data were collected from high-star hospitalities. Through the issuance and the collection of questionnaires, the scale is verified to have good reliability and validity by SPSS software analysis. Meanwhile,the structural equation model( SEM) is suited for testing structural dimensions of service employees' innovation behavior. The results showed that service employees' innovation behavior could be decomposed into a four-dimensional structure,namely innovation orientation, ideas generation, innovation implementation and innovation practice. In addition,there are significant differences in service employees' innovation behavior about subjects' gender,position,education background and years of working. 展开更多

Prediction of Radioactive Half-Lives and Atomic Nucleus Dimensions in a Concentric Shell Model or Flocon Model

Considering only the wave aspect, we determine the energy of a bond between 2 nucleons;this quantified energy is associated with a standing wave. Then, starting from the mass loss corresponding to this energy, we determine the number of bonds in this nucleus. The mass defect value for a link is used to determine a specific length at that link. Fixing a precise distance between nucleons makes it possible to determine a geometry of the nucleus and its dimensions. It makes it possible to understand when this bond is stronger than the electrostatic force and allows deducing a shell model built in a precise order. The calculation on the mass defect will also make it possible to determine that one or more nucleons concerned by the radioactivity will be bound by a single bond to the rest of the nucleus or, on the contrary, bound by several bonds which induce short 1/2 lives or, on the contrary, very long. The analysis of the bonds on H, He and C make it possible to write formulae which are then applied to the nuclei to find the radioactive 1/2 lives. To find by equations the radioactive 1/2 lives does not call into question the standard model since it concerns only the defect of mass of the nuclei with energies that are not used to find the main particles of the standard model. This model, which favours a geometric approach to the detriment of a mathematical approach based on differential equations, can lead to theoretical questions about the possibility of interpreting the structure of the nucleus in a more undulatory way. It is possible to explain radioactivity in a more deterministic way. 展开更多

Vertical hot ring rolling(VHRR) process has the characteristics of nonlinearity,time-variation and being susceptible to disturbance.Furthermore,the ring's growth is quite fast within a short time,and the rolled ring's position is asymmetrical.All of these cause that the ring's dimensions cannot be measured directly.Through analyzing the relationships among the dimensions of ring blanks,the positions of rolls and the ring's inner and outer diameter,the soft measurement model of ring's dimensions is established based on the radial basis function neural network(RBFNN).A mass of data samples are obtained from VHRR finite element(FE) simulations to train and test the soft measurement NN model,and the model's structure parameters are deduced and optimized by genetic algorithm(GA).Finally,the soft measurement system of ring's dimensions is established and validated by the VHRR experiments.The ring's dimensions were measured artificially and calculated by the soft measurement NN model.The results show that the calculation values of GA-RBFNN model are close to the artificial measurement data.In addition,the calculation accuracy of GA-RBFNN model is higher than that of RBFNN model.The research results suggest that the soft measurement NN model has high precision and flexibility.The research can provide practical methods and theoretical guidance for the accurate measurement of VHRR process. 展开更多

The quality assessment and prediction becomes one of the most critical requirements for improving reliability, efficiency and safety of laser welding. Accurate and efficient model to perform non-destructive quality estimation is an essential part of this assessment. This paper presents a structured and comprehensive approach developed to design an effective artificial neural network based model for weld bead geometry prediction and control in laser welding of galvanized steel in butt joint configurations. The proposed approach examines laser welding parameters and conditions known to have an influence on geometric characteristics of the welds and builds a weld quality prediction model step by step. The modelling procedure begins by examining, through structured experimental investigations and exhaustive 3D modelling and simulation efforts, the direct and the interaction effects of laser welding parameters such as laser power, welding speed, fibre diameter and gap, on the weld bead geometry (i.e. depth of penetration and bead width). Using these results and various statistical tools, various neural network based prediction models are developed and evaluated. The results demonstrate that the proposed approach can effectively lead to a consistent model able to accurately and reliably provide an appropriate prediction of weld bead geometry under variable welding conditions. 展开更多

This paper presents an experimentally validated weld joint shape and dimensions predictive 3D modeling for low carbon galvanized steel in butt-joint configurations. The proposed modelling approach is based on metallurgical transformations using temperature dependent material properties and the enthalpy method. Conduction and keyhole modes welding are investigated using surface and volumetric heat sources, respectively. Transition between the heat sources is carried out according to the power density and interaction time. Simulations are carried out using 3D finite element model on commercial software. The simulation results of the weld shape and dimensions are validated using a structured experimental investigation based on Taguchi method. Experimental validation conducted on a 3 kW Nd: YAG laser source reveals that the modelling approach can provide not only a consistent and accurate prediction of the weld characteristics under variable welding parameters and conditions but also a comprehensive and quantitative analysis of process parameters effects. The results show great concordance between predicted and measured values for the weld joint shape and dimensions. 展开更多

In recent years,the telecommunications sector is no longer limited to traditional communications,but has become the backbone for the use of data,content and digital applications by individuals,governments and companies to ensure the continuation of economic and social activity in light of social distancing and total closure inmost countries in the world.Therefore,electronic government(e-Government)andmobile government(m-Government)are the results of technological evolution and innovation.Hence,it is important to investigate the factors that influence the intention to use m-Government services among Jordan’s society.This paper proposed a new m-Government acceptance model in Jordan(AMGS);this model combines the Information System(IS)Success Factor Model and Hofstede Cultural Dimensions Theory.The study was conducted by surveying different groups of the Jordanian community.Astructured questionnaire was used to collect data from203 respondents.Multiple regression analysis has been conducted to analyze the data.The results indicate that the significant predictors of citizen intention to use m-Government services in Jordan are Information Quality,Service Quality,Uncertainty Avoidance,and Indulgence vs.restraint.While,the results also suggest that Power Distance is not a significant predictor of citizen intention to use m-Government services. 展开更多

Firstly, it is showed that the link function h(.) can be viewed by a graphic method. That is, the plot with the fitted response y on the horizontal axis and the observed y on the vertical axis can be used to visualize the link function. It is pointed out that this graphic approach is also applicable even when the link function is not monotonic. Note that many existing nonparametric smoothers can also be used to assess h(.). Therefore, the I-spline approximation of the link function via maximizing the covariance function with a penalty function is investigated in the present work. The consistency of the criterion is constructed. A small simulation is carried out to evidence the efficiency of the approach proposed in the paper. 展开更多

A Novel Cultural Crowd Model Toward Cognitive Artificial Intelligence

Existing literature shows cultural crowd management has unforeseen issues due to four dynamic elements;time,capacity,speed,and culture.Crosscultural variations are increasing the complexity level because each mass and event have different characteristics and challenges.However,no prior study has employed the six Hofstede Cultural Dimensions(HCD)for predicting crowd behaviors.This study aims to develop the Cultural Crowd-Artificial Neural Network(CC-ANN)learning model that considers crowd’s HCD to predict their physical(distance and speed)and social(collectivity and cohesion)characteristics.The model was developed towards a cognitive intelligent decision support tool where the predicted characteristics affect the estimated regulation plan’s time and capacity.We designed the experiments as four groups to analyze the proposed model’s outcomes and extract the interrelations between the HCD of crowd’s grouped individuals and their physical and social characteristics.Furthermore,the extracted interrelations were verified with the dataset’s statistical correlation analysis with a P-value<0.05.Results demonstrate that the predicted crowd’s characteristics were positively/negatively affected by their considered cultural features.Similarly,analyzing outcomes identified the most influential HCD for predicting crowd behavior.The results also show that the CC-ANN model improves the prediction and learning performance for the crowd behavior because the achieved accepted level of accuracy does not exceed 10 to 20 epochs in most cases.Moreover,the performance improved by 90%,93%respectively in some cases.Finally,all prediction best cases were related to one or more cultural features with a low error of 0.048,0.117,0.010,and 0.014 mean squared error,indicating a novel cultural learning model. 展开更多

Our paper presents an interactive four-dimensional model for studying the long- and short-term development of the communication discipline with Israel serving as a case study: institutional-contextual, institutional-in-field, intellectual-contextual, and intellectual-in-field. Our empirical analysis utilized personal interviews, archive documents, and statistical data. Four main processes were discerned: transition from integration to alienation between institutions of higher learning and the larger political and ideological context; a shift from Hebrew University Institute of Communication's institutional monopoly to a multiplicity of increasingly competitive communication schools/departments; transition from intellectual hegemony to limited intellectual diversity; and gradually improving status for the communication field among social science disciplines. Our case-study analysis validated the interactive relationship among the model's conceptual dimensions, calling for future cross-national comparisons. 展开更多

Degenerate States in Nonlinear Sigma Model with SU(2) Symmetry

Entanglement in quantum theory is a peculiar concept to scientists. With this concept we are forced to re-consider the cluster property which means that one event is irrelevant to another event when they are fully far away. In the recent works we showed that the quasi-degenerate states induce the violation of cluster property in antiferromagnets when the continuous symmetry breaks spontaneously. We expect that the violation of cluster property will be observed in other materials too, because the spontaneous symmetry breaking is found in many systems such as the high temperature superconductors and the superfluidity. In order to examine the cluster property for these materials, we studied a quantum nonlinear sigma model with U(1) symmetry in the previous work. There we showed that the model does have quasi-degenerate states. In this paper we study the quantum nonlinear sigma model with SU(2) symmetry. In our approach we first define the quantum system on the lattice and then adopt the representation where the kinetic term is diagonalized. Since we have no definition on the conjugate variable to the angle variable, we use the angular momentum operators instead for the kinetic term. In this representation we introduce the states with the fixed quantum numbers and carry out numerical calculations using quantum Monte Carlo methods and other methods. Through analytical and numerical studies, we conclude that the energy of the quasi-degenerate state is proportional to the squared total angular momentum as well as to the inverse of the lattice size. 展开更多

So, the visualization problem was availably resolved, as well as the professional analytical ability was improved. Secondly, aiming at the irregularities, non-uniformity, dynamics of mine entities, mix modeling method based on the entity character was put forward, in which 3D expression of mine entities was realized. Lastly, the 3D visualization project for a copper mine was experimentally studied. Landslide susceptibility mapping is significant for landslide prevention.Many approaches have been used for landslide susceptibility prediction,however,their performances are unstable.This study constructed a hybrid model,namely box counting dimension-based kernel logistic regression model,which uses fractal dimension calculated by box counting method as input data based on grid cells mapping unit and terrain mapping unit.The performance of this model was evaluated in the application in Zhidan County,Shaanxi Province,China.Firstly,a total of 221 landslides were identified and mapped,and 11 landslide predisposing factors were considered.Secondly,the landslide susceptibility maps(LSMs) of the study area were obtained by constructing the model on two different mapping units.Finally,the results were evaluated with five statistical indexes,sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value(PPV),negative predictive value(NPV) and Accuracy.The statistical indexes of the model obtained on the terrain mapping unit were larger than those based on grid cells mapping unit.For training and validation datasets,the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC) of the model based on terrain mapping unit were 0.9374 and 0.9527,respectively,indicating that establishing this model on the terrain mapping unit was advantageous in the study area.The results show that the fractal dimension improves the prediction ability of the kernel logistic model.In addition,the terrain mapping unit is a more promising mapping unit in Loess areas. 展开更多
