Studying the co-evolution of information diffusion,vaccination behavior and disease transmission in multilayer networks with local and global effects

Today,with the rapid development of the internet,a large amount of information often accompanies the rapid transmission of disease outbreaks,and increasing numbers of scholars are studying the relationship between information and the disease transmission process using complex networks.In fact,the disease transmission process is very complex.Besides this information,there will often be individual behavioral measures and other factors to consider.Most of the previous research has aimed to establish a two-layer network model to consider the impact of information on the transmission process of disease,rarely divided into information and behavior,respectively.To carry out a more in-depth analysis of the disease transmission process and the intrinsic influencing mechanism,this paper divides information and behavior into two layers and proposes the establishment of a complex network to study the dynamic co-evolution of information diffusion,vaccination behavior,and disease transmission.This is achieved by considering four influential relationships between adjacent layers in multilayer networks.In the information layer,the diffusion process of negative information is described,and the feedback effects of local and global vaccination are considered.In the behavioral layer,an individual's vaccination behavior is described,and the probability of an individual receiving a vaccination is influenced by two factors:the influence of negative information,and the influence of local and global disease severity.In the disease layer,individual susceptibility is considered to be influenced by vaccination behavior.The state transition equations are derived using the micro Markov chain approach(MMCA),and disease prevalence thresholds are obtained.It is demonstrated through simulation experiments that the negative information diffusion is less influenced by local vaccination behavior,and is mainly influenced by global vaccination behavior;vaccination behavior is mainly influenced by local disease conditions,and is less influenced by global disease conditions;the disease transmission threshold increases with the increasing vaccination rate;and the scale of disease transmission increases with the increasing negative information diffusion rate and decreases with the increasing vaccination rate.Finally,it is found that when individual vaccination behavior considers both the influence of negative information and disease,it can increase the disease transmission threshold and reduce the scale of disease transmission.Therefore,we should resist the diffusion of negative information,increase vaccination proportions,and take appropriate protective measures in time. 展开更多

The global system for mobile communication(GSM)is planned to meet the needs of the whole subscribers.The number of subscribers increased as the population increased due to the acceptance of GSM services by the subscribers.Thus,there should be a way to monitor base stations that will meet the increasing demand of subscribers in any area as a population surge will lead to more subscriptions.This will allow GSM network operators to serve their subscribers better and ease network congestion.This work presents a review of mobile evolution from the first generation to the fifth generation.A review of global positioning system(GPS)technology and its applications to geographic information systems(GIS)was done.The coordinates of these base stations were taken using a GPS device.These base station coordinates were then exported to QGIS for the design of the map.Thereafter,the output map was then integrated into the website.The discussions on the results followed and some useful suggestions given will go a long way to help the operators of GSM in Nigeria and in general.If the propositions given are adhered to,it will go a long way to help the operators reduce congestion on their network and thereby increase the satisfaction of the subscribers. 展开更多

The problem of constructing global view of heterogeneous information sources for information sharing is becoming more and more important due to the availability of multiple information sources within the virtual organization. Global view is defined to provide a unified representation of the information in the different sources by analyzing concept schemas associated with them and resolving possible semantic heterogeneity. An ontology-based method for global view construction is proposed. In the method, ( 1 ) Based on the formal ontologies, the concept of semantic affinity is introduced to assess the level of semantic relationship between information classes from different information sources; (2) Information classes are classified by semantic affinity levels using clustering procedures so that their different representations can be analyzed for unification; (3) Global view is constructed starting from selected clusters by unifying representation of their elements. The application example of using the method in the joint-aerial defense organization is illustrated and the result shows that the proposed method is feasible. 展开更多

The Global Energy Interconnection is an important strategic approach used to achieve efficient worldwide energy allocation.The idea of developing integrated power,information,and transportation networks provides increased power interconnection functionality and meaning,helps condense forces,and accelerates the integration of global infrastructure.Correspondingly,it is envisaged that it will become the trend of industrial technological development in the future.In consideration of the current trend of integrated development,this study evaluates a possible plan of coordinated development of fiber-optic and power networks in the Pan-Arctic region.Firstly,the backbone network architecture of Global Energy Interconnection is introduced and the importance of the Arctic energy backbone network is confirmed.The energy consumption and developmental trend of global data centers are then analyzed.Subsequently,the global network traffic is predicted and analyzed by means of a polynomial regression model.Finally,in combination with the current construction of fiber-optic networks in the Pan-Arctic region,the advantages of the integration of the fiber-optic and power networks in this region are clarified in justification of the decision for the development of a Global Energy Interconnection scheme. 展开更多

Compared with urban floods, dam-break floods are associated with greater uncertainties, including variable dam-break modes and hydrological characteristics, so conventional flood estimation methods cannot be directly applied in the estimation of dam-break flood loss. In particular, there is scant information regarding the conditions of affected area and hydrological characteristics in southwest China. In this paper, we introduce an integrated model for estimating flood loss that is adapted to the mountainous regions of southwestern China in light of the relative lack of available information. This model has three major components: a basic information model, a dam-routed flood propagation simulation model, and a loss estimation model. We established the basic information model despite the relative lack of available information using 3S technology [remote sensing(RS); geographical information system(GIS); global positioning system(GPS)], data mining technology, and statistical analysis techniques. Our dam-routed flood propagation simulation model consists of major hydrologic processes and their governing equations for flow propagation, which we solve using finite-difference schemes. In this model, the flood propagation area is divided into grids and each grid is determined by the characteristic parameters obtained from the propagationsimulation. We present a case study of the Lianghekou hydropower station in Sichuan Province, China to illustrate the practical application of this integrated model for life loss estimation. 展开更多

The advancement of the fourth industrial revolution has shaped the integration and interaction of different information, communication and technologies (ICTs) in the merging cyber, physical, and social infrastructures. The impact of ICT has accelerated the progress of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) and influenced the evolution of smart, sustainable, stable society development. Making the trustworthy information and communication technologies infrastructure widely available will promote the community innovation needed to stimulate domestic economics, provide decent work, and reduce inequalities. This article attempts to outline a big picture about the International Telecommunication Union (ITU)’s trust provisioning framework, including its motivation, current status, and application for achieving the UN SDGs by 2030. This article first describes the purpose of the UN SDGs and the evolution of the industrial revolution, then demonstrates the challenges of global risks affecting the fourth industrial revolution and the need for trustworthy ICT infrastructures. Subsequently, the article evaluates the ITU trust provisioning framework and assesses its applications in the future knowledge society, trust provisioning ecosystem, and cyber, physical, and social infrastructure toward achieving UN SDGs. Use cases are also presented in this article to show the effectiveness of the ITU trust provisioning framework on achieving UN SDGs. 展开更多

Geographic information systems (GIS) are a widely used tool in urban planning and management. More and more cities and decision-makers require its attributes of promptness, precision and visualization. But the application of GIS in urban environmental management is still a new field and relevant researches are getting on tardily. As a subsystem of GIS, an urban environmental management geographic information system (UEMGIS) should be a complex multi-discipline and multi-objective tool to perform quantitative multi-dimension analysis and to transfer the results into an expression legible to an ordinary user. It should be a dynamic system of prompt functions based on upgradable databases, and be composed of many subsystems respectively specialized in items about water, air, waste and noise as well as relative standards and regulations. However, existing UEMGISs mostly rely on the basic GIS too much to design the actual requirements of applications and managements in themselves, and the unavailability of sufficient fundamental data has retarded their improvement. In the design of a UEMGIS, the standardization of data classification should be taken into consideration to make the data exchangeable and shareable among its subsystems and within every subsystem, and the applicable error limits for input data should be defined in accordance with the user抯 required precision of data out. Data acquisition can be easy and quick if remote sensing, global positioning system (GPS) and other technologies are combined with GIS. Rapidly progressing information technologies have been giving a bright prospect for the melioration of UEMGIS that will have great potential and wide application in environmental conservation. 展开更多

Inspired by Roger Nelson’s Global Consciousness Project (GCP), the Global Earth Healing Project (GEHP) uses a network of several hundred physical noise generators to amplify the combined intentions of their users in order to infuse positive affirmations into the global consciousness. As mentioned in the original study design, it was intended to use the GCP as a reference for the effectiveness of its activities. The data of the GEHP consisting of 21 events from 2013 to 2020 is analyzed and statistically compared to the data of the GCP. An astonishing synchronicity was observed, which suggests an interaction between the brain states of the observers and the physical noise generators of the GCP. 展开更多

针对由于血管类间具有强相似性造成的动静脉错误分类问题,提出了一种新的融合上下文信息的多尺度视网膜动静脉分类网络(multi-scale retinal artery and vein classification network,MCFNet),该网络使用多尺度特征(multi-scale feature... 针对由于血管类间具有强相似性造成的动静脉错误分类问题,提出了一种新的融合上下文信息的多尺度视网膜动静脉分类网络(multi-scale retinal artery and vein classification network,MCFNet),该网络使用多尺度特征(multi-scale feature,MSF)提取模块及高效的全局上下文信息融合(efficient global contextual information aggregation,EGCA)模块结合U型分割网络进行动静脉分类,抑制了倾向于背景的特征并增强了血管的边缘、交点和末端特征,解决了段内动静脉错误分类问题。此外,在U型网络的解码器部分加入3层深度监督,使浅层信息得到充分训练,避免梯度消失,优化训练过程。在2个公开的眼底图像数据集(DRIVE-AV,LES-AV)上,与3种现有网络进行方法对比,该模型的F1评分分别提高了2.86、1.92、0.81个百分点,灵敏度分别提高了4.27、2.43、1.21个百分点,结果表明所提出的模型能够很好地解决动静脉分类错误的问题。 展开更多

融合全局信息的类别增强会话推荐方法

现有基于会话的推荐大多只针对当前会话项目之间的顺序依赖关系进行建模,不仅忽略了其他会话中存在与当前会话相关的项目转换,而且未考虑项目类别信息在推荐过程中的辅助作用。针对这一问题,提出一种融合全局信息的类别增强会话推荐方法... 现有基于会话的推荐大多只针对当前会话项目之间的顺序依赖关系进行建模,不仅忽略了其他会话中存在与当前会话相关的项目转换,而且未考虑项目类别信息在推荐过程中的辅助作用。针对这一问题,提出一种融合全局信息的类别增强会话推荐方法(CEGI-SR),学习并融合全局会话的物品转换和当前会话的物品及类别表示,使用注意力机制将当前会话中物品位置信息和交互时间信息纳入物品嵌入,辅助提升推荐效果。在两个公共数据集上进行实验,结果表明,相较最优基准模型,CEGI-SR在Diginetica数据集上P@20和MRR@20分别提高了1.15%和1.29%,在Tmall上两个指标分别提高了2.43%和2.74%,验证了CEGI-SR的有效性。 展开更多

为了有效解决传统的极大似然估计方法存在的未知数多导致结果不准确的问题,提出一种改进BIC的GNSS站坐标时序有色噪声特性分析方法:选取全球范围内100个基准站2008—2022年坐标时序及仿真的100组坐标时序,采用赤池信息准则(AIC)、贝叶... 为了有效解决传统的极大似然估计方法存在的未知数多导致结果不准确的问题,提出一种改进BIC的GNSS站坐标时序有色噪声特性分析方法:选取全球范围内100个基准站2008—2022年坐标时序及仿真的100组坐标时序,采用赤池信息准则(AIC)、贝叶斯信息准则(BIC)、改进的贝叶斯信息准则(BIC_tp)对不同有色噪声模型进行噪声特性分析,获取基准站坐标序列的最优噪声模型及速度参数;探讨BIC_tp对噪声模型及速度估计的影响。结果表明,基准站坐标序列噪声模型呈现出多样性特征,在北(N)和东(E)方向主要表现为闪烁噪声+白噪声(FNWN)模型,天顶(U)方向主要表现为幂律噪声+白噪声(PLWN)模型;相比于AIC和BIC噪声模型估计准则,BIC_tp方法对有色噪声模型估计具有较高的准确性,尤其是闪烁噪声+随机游走噪声(RW)+白噪声(FNRWWN)模型对全球卫星导航系统(GNSS)站速度不确定度的影响在N与E方向远大于U方向;正确获取模型参数估计的实际不确定度及改正噪声分量对于合理应用GNSS坐标时间序列数据具有重要意义。 展开更多

针对铁谱图像获取时人工对焦误差大、速度慢等问题,提出了一种融合全局信息和局部信息的铁谱图像自动对焦方法。此方法分为两个阶段:全局对焦阶段利用卷积神经网络(Convolutional Neural Networks,CNN)提取整幅图像的特征向量,并利用门... 针对铁谱图像获取时人工对焦误差大、速度慢等问题,提出了一种融合全局信息和局部信息的铁谱图像自动对焦方法。此方法分为两个阶段:全局对焦阶段利用卷积神经网络(Convolutional Neural Networks,CNN)提取整幅图像的特征向量,并利用门控循环单元(Gate Recurrent Unit,GRU)融合对焦过程提取的特征,预测当前全局离焦距离,起到粗对焦的作用;局部对焦阶段提取磨粒的特征向量,利用GRU融合当前特征与前一轮对焦提取的特征,并依据最厚磨粒信息,预测当前磨粒离焦距离,起到精对焦的作用。同时,为了提高对焦准确率,提出了结合拉普拉斯梯度的对焦方向判定法。实验结果表明,此算法在测试集上的对焦误差为2.51μm,当景深为2.0μm时对焦准确率为80.1%,平均对焦时间为0.771 s。本文提出的自动对焦方法具有较好的性能,为铁谱图像自动准确采集提供了技术支持。 展开更多

多标签文本分类是自然语言处理中重要且具有挑战性的任务之一。现有的方法注重文本表示学习,关注文本内部信息预测所属标签,忽略了属于某一标签的全体实例中共享的关键信息。鉴于此,本文提出一种基于标签概念的多标签文本分类方法:利用... 多标签文本分类是自然语言处理中重要且具有挑战性的任务之一。现有的方法注重文本表示学习,关注文本内部信息预测所属标签,忽略了属于某一标签的全体实例中共享的关键信息。鉴于此,本文提出一种基于标签概念的多标签文本分类方法:利用词频和潜在狄利克雷分布(latent Dirichlet allocation,LDA)方法从训练集全体实例中抽取各标签所对应的关键词,接着采取与文本编码相同方式对关键词编码,获得标签概念表示。在训练和预测过程中,检索与文本表示最相似的标签概念辅助分类,增加标签概念表示与文本表示的对比损失,使文本编码过程中能充分学习全局的标签概念信息。将本文方法嵌套在常用的多标签文本分类模型上进行实验,结果表明该方法有效提高了相应模型的性能。 展开更多

随着数字经济时代的到来,企业间竞争愈发激烈,广告成为了企业争夺和占有市场的重要手段。如何有效地利用有限的广告位资源,成为了企业不容忽视的关键问题。本研究基于整体优先原则,从信息加工流畅性视角出发,探究了广告景别呈现方式对... 随着数字经济时代的到来,企业间竞争愈发激烈,广告成为了企业争夺和占有市场的重要手段。如何有效地利用有限的广告位资源,成为了企业不容忽视的关键问题。本研究基于整体优先原则,从信息加工流畅性视角出发,探究了广告景别呈现方式对广告态度的影响。研究结果表明,相较于近景系列广告,全景系列广告会使消费者的广告态度更积极,信息加工流畅性在该影响过程中起中介作用。消费者思维模式调节了广告景别呈现方式对信息加工流畅性和广告态度的影响,当消费者处于整体(局部)加工思维模式下,相较于近景(全景)系列广告,全景(近景)系列广告使消费者信息加工更加流畅,广告态度更积极。本研究丰富了视觉线索在营销领域中的应用,研究结论对于企业制定和选择广告策略具有一定的实践意义。 展开更多
