Crustal and uppermost mantle structure of the northeastern Qinghai-Xizang Plateau from joint inversion of surface wave dispersions and receiver functions with P velocity constraints

Lithospheric structure beneath the northeastern Qinghai-Xizang Plateau is of vital significance for studying the geodynamic processes of crustal thickening and expansion of the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau. We conducted a joint inversion of receiver functions and surface wave dispersions with P-wave velocity constraints using data from the Chin Array Ⅱ temporary stations deployed across the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau. Prior to joint inversion, we applied the H-κ-c method(Li JT et al., 2019) to the receiver function data in order to correct for the back-azimuthal variations in the arrival times of Ps phases and crustal multiples caused by crustal anisotropy and dipping interfaces. High-resolution images of vS, crustal thickness, and vP/vSstructures in the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau were simultaneously derived from the joint inversion. The seismic images reveal that crustal thickness decreases outward from the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau. The stable interiors of the Ordos and Alxa blocks exhibited higher velocities and lower crustal vP/vSratios. While, lower velocities and higher vP/vSratios were observed beneath the Qilian Orogen and Songpan-Ganzi terrane(SPGZ), which are geologically active and mechanically weak, especially in the mid-lower crust.Delamination or thermal erosion of the lithosphere triggered by hot asthenospheric flow contributes to the observed uppermost mantle low-velocity zones(LVZs) in the SPGZ. The crustal thickness, vS, and vP/vSratios suggest that whole lithospheric shortening is a plausible mechanism for crustal thickening in the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau, supporting the idea of coupled lithospheric-scale deformation in this region.

Walsh Spectral Characteristics and the Auto-Correlation Function Characteristics of Forming Orthomorphic Permutations of Multi-Output Functions

Orthomorphic permutations have good characteristics in cryptosystems. In this paper, by using of knowledge about relation between orthomorphic permutations and multi-output functions, and conceptions of the generalized Walsh spectrum of multi-output functions and the auto-correlation function of multi-output functions to investigate the Walsh spectral characteristics and the auto-correlation function characteristics of orthormophic permutations, several results are obtained.

Relationship between Multi-Output Partially Bent Functions and Multi-Output Bent Functions

In this paper, the definition of multl-output partially Bent functions is presented and some properties are discussed. Then the relationship between multi-output partially Bent functions and multi-output Bent functions is given in Theorem 4, which includes Walsh spectrum expression and function expression. This shows that multi-output partially Bent functions and multi-output Bent functions can define each other in principle. So we obtain the general method to construct multi-output partially Bent functions from multi-output Bent functions.

Multi-output Gaussian Process Regression Model with Combined Kernel Function for Polyester Esterification Processes

In polyester fiber industrial processes,the prediction of key performance indicators is vital for product quality.The esterification process is an indispensable step in the polyester polymerization process.It has the characteristics of strong coupling,nonlinearity and complex mechanism.To solve these problems,we put forward a multi-output Gaussian process regression(MGPR)model based on the combined kernel function for the polyester esterification process.Since the seasonal and trend decomposition using loess(STL)can extract the periodic and trend characteristics of time series,a combined kernel function based on the STL and the kernel function analysis is constructed for the MGPR.The effectiveness of the proposed model is verified by the actual polyester esterification process data collected from fiber production.

Thickness Variations in the Lithospheric Mantle and the Low Velocity Zone of the Adamawa Plateau (Cameroon) from Teleseismic Receiver Functions

Teleseismic events recorded by stations located in the Adamawa Plateau have been treated using the inversion method of receiver functions. These six stations are part of a network of 32 large strip seismic stations installed in Cameroon between 2005 and 2007. This method allowed us to investigate the lithospheric mantle in that region. The results obtained from the velocity model have been compared to some existing results in this region. These results show the existence of a thick crust having an average thickness of about 35.2 km and a corresponding S wave velocity of 3.7 km/s. For an average S wave velocity of 4.4 km/s the lithospheric mantle appears to be thin in nature and has a thickness that varies from 39 km and 49.6 km. Beyond the lower lithospheric mantle, there exists a low velocity zone, whose thickness varies between 20 km and 43.9 km. The variation of the low velocity zone leads to variation of the lower boundary of the lithospheric mantle boundary at the depths ranging from 73.8 km and 85 km.

IMPROVEMENT OF THE ALGORITHM PRINCIPLES FOR MINIMIZATION OF MULTI-OUTPUT FUNCTIONS

In this paper,the application of extraction principle for logic function minimiza-tion to multi-output case is studied.A defect in original algorithm in dealing with multi-outputextrema is made up,and on this base,three kinds of less-than terms in different conditions aredefined.In addition,three kinds of generalized definition of less-than terms are given,so as to findout more efficiently the covers with minimal number of terms and irredundant function outputs.This work makes the multi-output extraction principle closer to perfection.An algorithm basedon the work is presented.

Spectral Characteristics of the Best Affine Approach of Multi-Output m-Valued Logical Functions

This paper discusses the best affine approach （BAA） of multi-output m-valued logical functions. First, it gives the spectra of rate of accordance between multi-output m-valued logical functions and their affine functions, then analyzes the BAA of multi-output m-valued logical functions and finally gives the spectral characteristics of BAA of multi-output m-valued logical functions.

Testing the transfer functions for the Geonor T-200B and Chinese standard precipitation gauge in the central Qinghai-Tibet Plateau

Accurately measuring precipitation is integral for understanding water cycle processes and assessing climate change in the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau(QTP).The Geonor T-200B weighing precipitation gauge with a single Alter shield(Geonor)and the Chinese standard precipitation gauge(CSPG)are widely used for measuring precipitation in the QTP.However,their measurements need to be adjusted for wetting loss,evaporation loss and windinduced undercatch.Four existing transfer functions for adjusting the Geonor-recorded and three transfer functions for adjusting the CSPG-recorded precipitation at hourly,daily or event scale has been proposed based on the precipitation intercomparison experiments conducted at a single site in different regions.Two latest transfer functions for the Geonor(which are referred to as K2017a and K2017b)at the half-hour time scale based on the precipitation intercomparison experiments at multiple stations in the northern hemisphere were provided in the World Meteorological Organization Solid Precipitation Intercomparison Experiment.However,the applicability of these transfer functions in the QTP has not been evaluated.Therefore,the current study carried out a precipitation measurement intercomparison experiment between August 2018 and September 2020 at a site in Beiluhe in central QTP.The performance of these transfer functions at this site was also evaluated on the basis of mean bias(MB),root mean squared error(RMSE)and relative total catch(RTC).The results are as follows:First,the unadjusted RTC values of the Geonor for rain,mixed(snow mixed with rain),snow and hail are 92.06%,85.35%,64.11% and 91.82%,respectively,and the unadjusted RTC values of the CSPG for the same precipitation types are 92.59%,81.32%,46.43% and 95.56%,respectively.Second,K2017a has the most accurate adjustment results for the Geonor-recorded snow and mixed precipitation at the half-hour time scale,and the post-adjustment RTC values increased to 98.25% and 98.23%,respectively.M2007e,an event-based transfer function,was found to have the most accurate adjustment results for the Geonorrecorded snow precipitation at the event scale,and the post-adjustment RTC value increased to 96.36%.Third,the existing transfer functions for CSPG underestimate snowfall,while overestimating rainfall.Fourth,hail is a significant precipitation type in central QTP.The catch efficiency of hail precipitation and the temperature when hail precipitation occurs are close to those of rain;moreover,the transfer functions for rain are suitable for hail as well.

研究了Plateaued函数的对偶性;基于Plateaued函数对偶性的定义及函数限制的理论,得到了Plateaued函数与其对偶函数在子空间上的限制及正规性上的对应关系;利用Plateaued的对偶这一工具,得到了两个Plateaued函数的互相关平方和指标的界。

多输出Plateaued函数的构造方法

Plateaued函数具有很高的非线性度,可以满足相关免疫性、平衡性,在密码函数领域具有重要作用。为此,基于Carlet等提出的单输出Plateaued函数构造方法(FSE’03会议论文集),利用m序列的状态转移矩阵,构造一类多输出Plateaued函数,并参考Johansson方法中的引理5(IEEE Transactions on Information Theory,2003,No.2),提出另一种多输出Plateaued函数的构造方法,由此得到的2种函数适用于S盒、滤波(组合)函数、杂凑函数等的设计。

Plateaued函数谱支撑集的性质

本文对Plateaued函数的谱支撑集的结构与性质进行了深入研究,给出了r阶Plateaued函数的全体非0谱值点集合与线性结构集的维数之间的关系.利用谱指标对2阶Plateaued函数和4阶Plateaued函数的自相关性进行了详细分析,给出了其自相关系数的分布.分析了r阶Plateaued函数的谱支撑集和零谱值点集的结构特征,给出了多个r阶Plateaued函数的谱支撑集在不相交时自相关系数之间的关系以及谱支撑集与函数平衡性的关系.

多输出plateaued函数的性质和构造

该文用仿射变换、级联、单射集及m序列的状态转移矩阵等方法构造了多输出plateaued函数,并明确了构造中阶数的变换情况,给出了由上述方法所构造的多输出plateaued函数的广义一阶Walsh循环谱值。另外,还给出了单射集的构造方法。由此,可以构造出一系列不同阶数、新的多输出plateaued函数。

基于plateaued函数的平衡布尔函数构造

布尔函数在对称密码的设计和分析中起着重要的作用。通过对谱不相交函数集中子函数平衡性的问题的研究给出了包含4个plateaued函数的函数集中有3个为平衡函数的充分条件。在此基础上,基于3个平衡的谱不相交plateaued函数,一类特殊的布尔置换以及一个高非线性度平衡函数,提出了一个构造高非线性度平衡布尔函数的方法。通过分析可知,利用该方法可以构造代数次数达到最优、非线性度不小于2^(2k-1)-2^(k-1)-2^(k/2)-2^([(k-1)/2])的2k元平衡函数。

Plateaued函数的构造方法研究

Plateaued函数在密码学及编码等领域有着极其重要的应用,该文提出一种Plateaued函数的直接构造方法,研究了由该方法构造的Plateaued函数的密码学性质,证明了现有的直接构造方法可归约到本构造方法。
