In this method, the particles are encoded by the probability amplitudes of the basic states of the multi-qubits system. The rotation angles of multi-qubits are determined based on the local optimum particle and the global optimal particle, and the multi-qubits rotation gates are employed to update the particles. At each of iteration, updating any qubit can lead to updating all probability amplitudes of the corresponding particle. The experimental results of some benchmark functions optimization show that, although its single step iteration consumes long time, the optimization ability of the proposed method is significantly higher than other similar algorithms.展开更多

The single-qubit state is known to Alice while the two-qubit state which is a non-maximally entangled Bell state is known to Candy. The three parties are connected through a single entangled state which acts as a quantum channel. We first describe the protocol in the ideal case when the entangled channel under use is in a pure state. After that, we consider the effect of amplitude damping(AD) noise on the quantum channel and describe the protocol executed through the noisy channel. The decrement of the fidelity is shown to occur with the increment in the noise parameter. This is shown by numerical computation in specific examples of the states to be created. Finally, we show that it is possible to maintain the label of fidelity to some extent and hence to decrease the effect of noise by the application of weak and reversal measurements. We also present a scheme for the generation of the five-qubit entangled resource which we require as a quantum channel. The generation scheme is run on the IBMQ platform.展开更多

The smaller operation number for implementing the multi-qubit controlled phase gate and needlessness for addressing individually save physical resource and lower the difficulties of experiment. Mean- while, the scheme is immune from some decoherence effects such as the atomic spontaneous emission and fibre loss. In principle, it is scalable.展开更多

It is known that for a three-qubit system, there is only one form of the GHZ-Mermin-like argument with equivalence up to a local unitary transformation, which is exactly Mermin's version of the GHZ theorem. This article for a four-qubit system, which was originally studied by GHZ, the authors show that there are nine distinct forms of the GHZ-Mermin-like argument. The proof is obtained using certain geometric invariants to characterize the sets of mutually commuting nonlocal spin observables on the four-qubit system. It is proved that there are at most nine elements (except for a different sign) in a set of mutually commuting nonlocal spin observables in the four-qubit system, and each GHZ-Mermin-like argument involves a set of at least five mutually commuting four-qubit nonlocal spin observables witha GHZ state as a common eigenstate in GHZ's theorem. Therefore, we present a complete construction of the GHZ theorem for the four-qubit system.展开更多

In the proposed model, the discrete sequence input is represented by the qubits, which, as the control qubits of the controlled-not gate after being rotated by the quantum rotation gates, control the target qubit for reverse. The model output is described by the probability amplitude of state in the target qubit. Simulation results of benchmark problem show that, under a certain condition, the QNNSI is obviously superior to the ANN.展开更多
