The identification of intercepted radio fuze modulation types is a prerequisite for decision-making in interference systems.However,the electromagnetic environment of modern battlefields is complex,and the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)of such environments is usually low,which makes it difficult to implement accurate recognition of radio fuzes.To solve the above problem,a radio fuze automatic modulation recognition(AMR)method for low-SNR environments is proposed.First,an adaptive denoising algorithm based on data rearrangement and the two-dimensional(2D)fast Fourier transform(FFT)(DR2D)is used to reduce the noise of the intercepted radio fuze intermediate frequency(IF)signal.Then,the textural features of the denoised IF signal rearranged data matrix are extracted from the statistical indicator vectors of gray-level cooccurrence matrices(GLCMs),and support vector machines(SVMs)are used for classification.The DR2D-based adaptive denoising algorithm achieves an average correlation coefficient of more than 0.76 for ten fuze types under SNRs of-10 d B and above,which is higher than that of other typical algorithms.The trained SVM classification model achieves an average recognition accuracy of more than 96%on seven modulation types and recognition accuracies of more than 94%on each modulation type under SNRs of-12 d B and above,which represents a good AMR performance of radio fuzes under low SNRs. 展开更多

The denoising of microseismic signals is a prerequisite for subsequent analysis and research.In this research,a new microseismic signal denoising algorithm called the Black Widow Optimization Algorithm(BWOA)optimized VariationalMode Decomposition(VMD)jointWavelet Threshold Denoising(WTD)algorithm(BVW)is proposed.The BVW algorithm integrates VMD and WTD,both of which are optimized by BWOA.Specifically,this algorithm utilizes VMD to decompose the microseismic signal to be denoised into several Band-Limited IntrinsicMode Functions(BLIMFs).Subsequently,these BLIMFs whose correlation coefficients with the microseismic signal to be denoised are higher than a threshold are selected as the effective mode functions,and the effective mode functions are denoised using WTD to filter out the residual low-and intermediate-frequency noise.Finally,the denoised microseismic signal is obtained through reconstruction.The ideal values of VMD parameters and WTD parameters are acquired by searching with BWOA to achieve the best VMD decomposition performance and solve the problem of relying on experience and requiring a large workload in the application of the WTD algorithm.The outcomes of simulated experiments indicate that this algorithm is capable of achieving good denoising performance under noise of different intensities,and the denoising performance is significantly better than the commonly used VMD and Empirical Mode Decomposition(EMD)algorithms.The BVW algorithm is more efficient in filtering noise,the waveform after denoising is smoother,the amplitude of the waveform is the closest to the original signal,and the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)and the root mean square error after denoising are more satisfying.The case based on Fankou Lead-Zinc Mine shows that for microseismic signals with different intensities of noise monitored on-site,compared with VMD and EMD,the BVW algorithm ismore efficient in filtering noise,and the SNR after denoising is higher. 展开更多

Ingredient optimization plays a pivotal role in the copper industry,for which it is closely related to the concentrate utilization rate,stability of furnace conditions,and the quality of copper production.To acquire a practical ingredient plan,which should exhibit long duration time with sufficient utilization and feeding stability for real applications,an ingredient plan optimization model is proposed in this study to effectively guarantee continuous production and stable furnace conditions.To address the complex challenges posed by this integer programming model,including multiple coupling feeding stages,intricate constraints,and significant non-linearity,a multi-stage differential-multifactorial evolution algorithm is developed.In the proposed algorithm,the differential evolutionary(DE)algorithm is improved in three aspects to efficiently tackle challenges when optimizing the proposed model.First,unlike traditional time-consuming serial approaches,the multifactorial evolutionary algorithm is utilized to optimize multiple complex models contained in the population of evolutionary algorithm caused by the feeding stability in a parallel manner.Second,a repair algorithm is employed to adjust infeasible ingredient lists in a timely manner.In addition,a local search strategy taking feedback from the current optima and considering the different positions of global optimum is developed to avoiding premature convergence of the differential evolutionary algorithm.Finally,the simulation experiments considering different planning horizons using real data from the copper industry in China are conducted,which demonstrates the superiority of the proposed method on feeding duration and stability compared with other commonly deployed approaches.It is practically helpful for reducing material cost as well as increasing production profit for the copper industry. 展开更多

Visual near-infrared imaging equipment has broad applications in various fields such as venipuncture,facial injections,and safety verification due to its noncontact,compact,and portable design.Currently,most studies utilize near-infrared single-wavelength for image acquisition of veins.However,many substances in the skin,including water,protein,and melanin can create significant background noise,which hinders accurate detection.In this paper,we developed a dual-wavelength imaging system with phase-locked denoising technology to acquire vein image.The signals in the effective region are compared by using the absorption valley and peak of hemoglobin at 700nm and 940nm,respectively.The phase-locked denoising algorithm is applied to decrease the noise and interference of complex surroundings from the images.The imaging results of the vein are successfully extracted in complex noise environment.It is demonstrated that the denoising effect on hand veins imaging can be improved with 57.3%by using our dual-wavelength phase-locked denoising technology.Consequently,this work proposes a novel approach for venous imaging with dual-wavelengths and phase-locked denoising algorithm to extract venous imaging results in complex noisy environment better. 展开更多

Recovering high-quality inscription images from unknown and complex inscription noisy images is a challenging research issue.Different fromnatural images,character images pay more attention to stroke information.However,existingmodelsmainly consider pixel-level informationwhile ignoring structural information of the character,such as its edge and glyph,resulting in reconstructed images with mottled local structure and character damage.To solve these problems,we propose a novel generative adversarial network(GAN)framework based on an edge-guided generator and a discriminator constructed by a dual-domain U-Net framework,i.e.,EDU-GAN.Unlike existing frameworks,the generator introduces the edge extractionmodule,guiding it into the denoising process through the attention mechanism,which maintains the edge detail of the restored inscription image.Moreover,a dual-domain U-Net-based discriminator is proposed to learn the global and local discrepancy between the denoised and the label images in both image and morphological domains,which is helpful to blind denoising tasks.The proposed dual-domain discriminator and generator for adversarial training can reduce local artifacts and keep the denoised character structure intact.Due to the lack of a real-inscription image,we built the real-inscription dataset to provide an effective benchmark for studying inscription image denoising.The experimental results show the superiority of our method both in the synthetic and real-inscription datasets. 展开更多

To enhance the comprehensive performance of artillery internal ballistics—encompassing power,accuracy,and service life—this study proposed a multi-stage multidisciplinary design optimization(MS-MDO)method.First,the comprehensive artillery internal ballistic dynamics(AIBD)model,based on propellant combustion,rotation band engraving,projectile axial motion,and rifling wear models,was established and validated.This model was systematically decomposed into subsystems from a system engineering perspective.The study then detailed the MS-MDO methodology,which included Stage I(MDO stage)employing an improved collaborative optimization method for consistent design variables,and Stage II(Performance Optimization)focusing on the independent optimization of local design variables and performance metrics.The methodology was applied to the AIBD problem.Results demonstrated that the MS-MDO method in Stage I effectively reduced iteration and evaluation counts,thereby accelerating system-level convergence.Meanwhile,Stage II optimization markedly enhanced overall performance.These comprehensive evaluation results affirmed the effectiveness of the MS-MDO method. 展开更多

Electrocardiogram(ECG)signal is one of the noninvasive physiological measurement techniques commonly usedin cardiac diagnosis.However,in real scenarios,the ECGsignal is susceptible to various noise erosion,which affectsthe subsequent pathological analysis.Therefore,the effective removal of the noise from ECG signals has becomea top priority in cardiac diagnostic research.Aiming at the problem of incomplete signal shape retention andlow signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)after denoising,a novel ECG denoising network,named attention-based residualdense shrinkage network(ARDSN),is proposed in this paper.Firstly,the shallow ECG characteristics are extractedby a shallow feature extraction network(SFEN).Then,the residual dense shrinkage attention block(RDSAB)isused for adaptive noise suppression.Finally,feature fusion representation(FFR)is performed on the hierarchicalfeatures extracted by a series of RDSABs to reconstruct the de-noised ECG signal.Experiments on the MIT-BIHarrhythmia database and MIT-BIH noise stress test database indicate that the proposed scheme can effectively resistthe interference of different sources of noise on the ECG signal. 展开更多

An alternative 2D ICEEMDAN-based denoising method and its application in processing magnetic anomaly data

Due to environmental noise and human factors,magnetic data collected in the field often contain various noises and interferences that significantly affect the subsequent data processing and interpretation.Empirical Mode Decomposition(EMD),an adaptive multiscale analysis method for nonlinear and non-stationary signals,is widely used in geophysical and geodetic data processing.Compared with traditional EMD,Improved Complete Ensemble EMD with Adaptive Noise(ICEEMDAN)is more effective in addressing the problem of mode mixing.Based on the principles of 1D ICEEMDAN,this paper presents an alternative algorithm for 2D ICEEMDAN,extending its application to two-dimensional scenarios.The effectiveness of the proposed approach is demonstrated through synthetic signal experiments,which show that the 2D ICEEMDAN exhibits a weaker mode mixing effect compared to the traditional bidimensional EMD(BEMD)method.Furthermore,to improve the performance of the denoising method based on 2D ICEEMDAN and preserve useful signals in high-frequency components,an improved soft thresholding technique is introduced.Synthetic magnetic anomaly data testing indicates that our denoising method effectively preserves signal continuity and outperforms traditional soft thresholding methods.To validate the practical application of this improved threshold denoising method based on 2D ICEEMDAN,it is applied to ground magnetic survey data in the Yandun area of Xinjiang.The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the method in removing noise while retaining essential information from practical magnetic anomaly data.In particular,practical applications suggest that 2D ICEEMDAN can extract trend signals more accurately than the BEMD.In conclusion,as a potential tool for multi-scale decomposition,the 2D ICEEMDAN is versatile in processing and analyzing 2D geophysical and geodetic data. 展开更多

To address the scheduling problem involving energy storage systems and uncertain energy,we propose a method based on multi-stage robust optimization.This approach aims to regulate the energy storage system by using a multi-stage robust optimal control method,which helps overcome the limitations of traditional methods in terms of time scale.The goal is to effectively utilize the energy storage power station system to address issues caused by unpredictable variations in environmental energy and fluctuating load throughout the day.To achieve this,a mathematical model is constructed to represent uncertain energy sources such as photovoltaic and wind power.The generalized Benders Decomposition method is then employed to solve the multi-stage objective optimization problem.By decomposing the problem into a series of sub-objectives,the system scale is effectively reduced,and the algorithm’s convergence ability is improved.Compared with other algorithms,the multi-stage robust optimization model has better economy and convergence ability and can be used to guide the power dispatching of uncertain energy and energy storage systems. 展开更多

Reliable long-term settlement prediction of a high embankment relates to mountain infrastructure safety.This study developed a novel hybrid model(NHM)that combines a joint denoising technique with an enhanced gray wolf optimizer(EGWO)-n-support vector regression(n-SVR)method.High-embankment field measurements were preprocessed using the joint denoising technique,which in-cludes complete ensemble empirical mode decomposition,singular value decomposition,and wavelet packet transform.Furthermore,high-embankment settlements were predicted using the EGWO-n-SVR method.In this method,the standard gray wolf optimizer(GWO)was improved to obtain the EGWO to better tune the n-SVR model hyperparameters.The proposed NHM was then tested in two case studies.Finally,the influences of the data division ratio and kernel function on the EGWO-n-SVR forecasting performance and prediction efficiency were investigated.The results indicate that the NHM suppresses noise and restores details in high-embankment field measurements.Simultaneously,the NHM out-performs other alternative prediction methods in prediction accuracy and robustness.This demonstrates that the proposed NHM is effective in predicting high-embankment settlements with noisy field mea-surements.Moreover,the appropriate data division ratio and kernel function for EGWO-n-SVR are 7:3 and radial basis function,respectively. 展开更多

As one of the carriers for human communication and interaction, images are prone to contamination by noise during transmission and reception, which is often uncontrollable and unknown. Therefore, how to denoise images contaminated by unknown noise has gradually become one of the research focuses. In order to achieve blind denoising and separation to restore images, this paper proposes a method for image processing based on Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) by integrating multiple filtering methods for denoising. This method includes Wavelet Filtering, Gaussian Filtering, Median Filtering, Mean Filtering, Bilateral Filtering, Adaptive Bandpass Filtering, Non-local Means Filtering and Regularization Denoising suitable for different types of noise. We can apply this method to denoise images contaminated by blind noise sources and evaluate the denoising effects using RMSE. The smaller the RMSE, the better the denoising effect. The optimal denoising result is selected through comprehensively comparing the RMSE values of all methods. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method effectively denoises and restores images contaminated by blind noise sources. 展开更多

The progress in medical imaging technology highlights the importance of image quality for effective diagnosis and treatment.Yet,noise during capture and transmission can compromise image accuracy and reliability,complicating clinical decisions.The rising interest in diffusion models has led to their exploration of denoising images.We present Be-FOI(Better Fluoro Images),a weakly supervised model that uses cine images to denoise fluoroscopic images,both DR types.Trained through precise noise estimation and simulation,BeFOI employs Markov chains to denoise using only the fluoroscopic image as guidance.Our tests show that BeFOI outperforms other methods,reducing noise and enhancing clar-ity and diagnostic utility,making it an effective post-processing tool for medical images. 展开更多

This paper discusses the principle and procedures of the second-generation wavelet transform and its application to the denoising of seismic data. Based on lifting steps, it is a flexible wavelet construction method using linear and nonlinear spatial prediction and operators to implement the wavelet transform and to make it reversible. The lifting scheme transform -includes three steps: split, predict, and update. Deslauriers-Dubuc (4, 2) wavelet transforms are used to process both synthetic and real data in our second-generation wavelet transform. The processing results show that random noise is effectively suppressed and the signal to noise ratio improves remarkably. The lifting wavelet transform is an efficient algorithm. 展开更多

The efficiency, precision, and denoising capabilities of reconstruction algorithms are critical to seismic data processing. Based on the Fourier-domain projection onto convex sets (POCS) algorithm, we propose an inversely proportional threshold model that defines the optimum threshold, in which the descent rate is larger than in the exponential threshold in the large-coefficient section and slower than in the exponential threshold in the small-coefficient section. Thus, the computation efficiency of the POCS seismic reconstruction greatly improves without affecting the reconstructed precision of weak reflections. To improve the flexibility of the inversely proportional threshold, we obtain the optimal threshold by using an adjustable dependent variable in the denominator of the inversely proportional threshold model. For random noise attenuation by completing the missing traces in seismic data reconstruction, we present a weighted reinsertion strategy based on the data-driven model that can be obtained by using the percentage of the data-driven threshold in each iteration in the threshold section. We apply the proposed POCS reconstruction method to 3D synthetic and field data. The results suggest that the inversely proportional threshold model improves the computational efficiency and precision compared with the traditional threshold models; furthermore, the proposed reinserting weight strategy increases the SNR of the reconstructed data. 展开更多

Triangular Au-Ag framework nanostructures (TFN) were synthesized via a multi-step galvanic replacement reaction (MGRR) of single-crystalline triangular silver nanoplates in a chlorauric acid (HAuCl4) solution at room temperature. The morphological, compositional, and crystal structural changes involved with reaction steps were analyzed by using transmission electron microscopy(TEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometry (EDX), and X-ray diffraction. TEM combined with EDX and selected area electron diffraction confirmed the replacement of Ag with Au. The in-plane dipolar surface plasmon resonance (SPR) absorption band of the Ag nanoplates locating initially at around 700 nm gradually redshifted to 1 100 nm via a multi-stage replacement manner after 7 stages. The adding amount of HAuCl4 per stage influenced the average redshift value per stage, thus enabled a fine tuning of the in-plane dipolar band. A proposed formation mechanism of the original Ag nanoplates developing pores while growing Au nanoparticles covering this underlying structure at more reaction steps was confirmed by exploiting surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS). 展开更多

The noises of remote sensing images, caused by imaging system and ground environment, negatively affect the accuracy and efficiency in extracting forest information from remote sensing images. The denoising is critical for image classifications for forest areas. The objective of this research is to assess the effectiveness of currently used spatial filtering methods for extracting with forest information related from Landsat 5 TM images. Five spatial filtering methods including low-pass filter, median filter, mean filter, sigma filter and enhanced self-adaptive filter were examined. A set of evaluation indices was designed to assess the ability of each denoising method for flatness, edge/boundary retention and enhancement. Based on the designed evaluation indices and visual assessment, it was found that sigma filter (D=1) and enhanced self-adaptive filter were the most effective denoising methods in classifying TM images for forest areas. 展开更多

In order to decrease the sensitivity of the constant scale parameter, adaptively optimize the scale parameter in the iteration regularization model (IRM) and attain a desirable level of applicability for image denoising, a novel IRM with the adaptive scale parameter is proposed. First, the classic regularization item is modified and the equation of the adaptive scale parameter is deduced. Then, the initial value of the varying scale parameter is obtained by the trend of the number of iterations and the scale parameter sequence vectors. Finally, the novel iterative regularization method is used for image denoising. Numerical experiments show that compared with the IRM with the constant scale parameter, the proposed method with the varying scale parameter can not only reduce the number of iterations when the scale parameter becomes smaller, but also efficiently remove noise when the scale parameter becomes bigger and well preserve the details of images. 展开更多

Seismic data denoising based on learning-type overcomplete dictionaries 被引量:19

The transform base function method is one of the most commonly used techniques for seismic denoising, which achieves the purpose of removing noise by utilizing the sparseness and separateness of seismic data in the transform base function domain. However, the effect is not satisfactory because it needs to pre-select a set of fixed transform-base functions and process the corresponding transform. In order to find a new approach, we introduce learning-type overcomplete dictionaries, i.e., optimally sparse data representation is achieved through learning and training driven by seismic modeling data, instead of using a single set of fixed transform bases. In this paper, we combine dictionary learning with total variation (TV) minimization to suppress pseudo-Gibbs artifacts and describe the effects of non-uniform dictionary sub-block scale on removing noises. Taking the discrete cosine transform and random noise as an example, we made comparisons between a single transform base, non-learning-type, overcomplete dictionary and a learning-type overcomplete dictionary and also compare the results with uniform and nonuniform size dictionary atoms. The results show that, when seismic data is represented sparsely using the learning-type overcomplete dictionary, noise is also removed and visibility and signal to noise ratio is markedly increased. We also compare the results with uniform and nonuniform size dictionary atoms, which demonstrate that a nonuniform dictionary atom is more suitable for seismic denoising. 展开更多
