For the multipath fading on electromagnetic waves of wireless communication in the confined areas,the rectangular tunnel cooperative communication system was established based on the multimode channel model and the channel capacity formula derivation was obtained.On the optimal criterion of the channel capacity,the power allocation methods of both amplifying and forwarding(AF) and decoding and forwarding(DF) cooperative communication systems were proposed in the limitation of the total power to maximize the channel capacity.The mode selection methods of single input single output(SISO) and single input multiple output(SIMO) models in the rectangular tunnel,through which the higher channel capacity can be obtained,were put forward as well.The theoretical analysis and simulation comparison show that,channel capacity of the wireless communication system in the rectangular tunnel can be effectively enhanced through the cooperative technology;channel capacity of the rectangular tunnel under complicated conditions is maximized through the proposed power allocation methods,and the optimal cooperative mode of the channel capacity can be chosen according to the cooperative mode selection methods given in the paper. 展开更多

The structure consists of long pe... <div style="text-align:justify;"> In this paper, a hybrid optical fiber structure for solution concentration measurement with the temperature compensation is proposed. The structure consists of long period fiber grating (LPFG) and single mode-multimode-single mode (SMS) fiber structures. The sensing mechanism of the device is studied and verified by experiments. LPFG is sensitive to solution concentration and is affected by temperature crosstalk. SMS structure is not affected by solution concentration, but sensitive to ambient temperature. It can be used as a temperature compensation system. The sensitivity coefficients of LPFG and SMS on temperature and concentration were measured experimentally, and a dual-wavelength matrix was established to realize simultaneous measurement of solution temperature and concentration. </div> 展开更多

A double-stage start-up structure to limit the inrush current used in current-mode charge pump with wide input range,fixed output and multimode operation is presented in this paper.As a widely utilized power source implement,a Li-battery is always used as the power supply for chips.Due to the internal resistance,a potential drop will be generated at the input terminal of the chip with an input current.A false shut down with a low supply voltage will happen if the input current is too large,leading to the degradation of the Li-battery's service life.To solve this problem,the inrush current is limited by introducing a new start-up state.All of the circuits have been implemented with the NUVOTON 0.6 μm CMOS process.The measurement results show that the inrush current can be limited below 1 A within all input supply ranges,and the power efficiency is higher than the conventional structure. 展开更多
