For analyzing performance degradation data, a two-parameter model based on GM was developed. In order to improve the prediction accuracy of the two-parameter model, parameter selection based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) was used. Then, the new PSO-GM(1, 2, co) optimization model was constructed, which was validated experimentally by conducting an accelerated testing on the Ta capacitors. The experiments were conducted at three different stress levels of 85, 120, and 145℃. The results of two experiments were used in estimating the parameters. The choice of the regularization factor and of the initial model is critical in regularization inversion. To deal with these problems, we propose a multiobjective particle swarm inversion (MOPSOI) algorithm to simultaneously minimize the data misfit and model constraints, and obtain a multiobjective inversion solution set without the gradient information of the objective function and the regularization factor. We then choose the optimum solution from the solution set based on the trade-off between data misfit and constraints that substitute for the regularization factor. The inversion of synthetic two-dimensional magnetic data suggests that the MOPSOI algorithm can obtain as many feasible solutions as possible; thus, deeper insights of the inversion process can be gained and more reasonable solutions can be obtained by balancing the data misfit and constraints. The proposed MOPSOI algorithm can deal with the problems of choosing the right regularization factor and the initial model.展开更多

However, it will become substantially time-consuming when handling computationally expensive fitness functions. In order to save the computational cost, a surrogate-assisted PSO with Pareto active learning is proposed. In real physical space(the objective functions are computationally expensive), PSO is used as an optimizer, and its optimization results are used to construct the surrogate models. In virtual space, objective functions are replaced by the cheaper surrogate models, PSO is viewed as a sampler to produce the candidate solutions. To enhance the quality of candidate solutions, a hybrid mutation sampling method based on the simulated evolution is proposed, which combines the advantage of fast convergence of PSO and implements mutation to increase diversity. Furthermore, ε-Pareto active learning(ε-PAL)method is employed to pre-select candidate solutions to guide PSO in the real physical space. However, little work has considered the method of determining parameter ε. Therefore, a greedy search method is presented to determine the value ofεwhere the number of active sampling is employed as the evaluation criteria of classification cost. Experimental studies involving application on a number of benchmark test problems and parameter determination for multi-input multi-output least squares support vector machines(MLSSVM) are given, in which the results demonstrate promising performance of the proposed algorithm compared with other representative multi-objective particle swarm optimization(MOPSO) algorithms.展开更多

It is based on the combination of Genetic Algorithm (GA) and PSO. Our approach integrates the merits of both genetic algorithms (GAs) and particle swarm optimization (PSO) and it has two characteristic features. Firstly, the algorithm is initialized by a set of a random particle which traveling through the search space, during this travel an evolution of these particles is performed by a hybrid PSO with GA to get approximate no dominated solution. Secondly, to improve the solution quality, dynamic version of pattern search technique is implemented as neighborhood search engine where it intends to explore the less-crowded area in the current archive to possibly obtain more nondominated solutions. The results about fractional derivative multivariable grey models are very few at present. In this paper, a multivariable Caputo fractional derivative grey model with convolution integral CFGMC(q, N) is proposed. First, the Caputo fractional difference is used to discretize the model, and the least square method is used to solve the parameters. The orders of accumulations and differential equations are determined by using particle swarm optimization(PSO). Then, the analytical solution of the model is obtained by using the Laplace transform, and the convergence and divergence of series in analytical solutions are also discussed. Finally, the CFGMC(q, N) model is used to predict the municipal solid waste(MSW). Compared with other competition models, the model has the best prediction effect. This study enriches the model form of the multivariable grey model, expands the scope of application, and provides a new idea for the development of fractional derivative grey model.展开更多

In dealing with single objective optimization problems, a single global best exists, so the personal best provides optimal diversity to prevent premature convergence. But in multiobjective optimization problems, the diversity provided by the personal best is less optimal, whereas the global archive contains a series of global bests, thus provides optimal diversity. If the algorithm excluding the personal best provides sufficient randomness, the personal best becomes worthless. Therefore we propose no personal best strategy that no longer uses the personal best when the global archive exceeds the population size. Experimental results validate the efficiency of our strategy.展开更多

文摘Lithium-ion battery State of Health(SOH)estimation is an essential issue in battery management systems. In order to better estimate battery SOH,Extreme Learning Machine(ELM)is used to establish a model to estimate lithium-ion battery SOH.The Swarm Optimization algorithm(PSO)is used to automatically adjust and optimize the parameters of ELM to improve estimation accuracy.Firstly, collect cyclic aging data of the battery and extract five characteristic quantities related to battery capacity from the battery charging curve and increment capacity curve.Use Grey Relation Analysis(GRA)method to analyze the correlation between battery capacity and five characteristic quantities. Then,an ELM is used to build the capacity estimation model of the lithium-ion battery based on five characteristics, and a PSO is introduced to optimize the parameters of the capacity estimation model. The proposed method is validated by the degradation experiment of the lithium-ion battery under different conditions. The results show that the battery capacity estimation model based on ELM and PSO has better accuracy and stability in capacity estimation, and the average absolute percentage error is less than 1%.

文摘Most of the existing multivariable grey models are based on the 1-order derivative and 1-order accumulation, which makes the parameters unable to be adjusted according to the data characteristics of the actual problems. This study enriches the model form of the multivariable grey model, expands the scope of application, and provides a new idea for the development of fractional derivative grey model.

文摘The Mixed No-Idle Flow-shop Scheduling Problem(MNIFSP)is an extension of flow-shop scheduling, which has practical significance and application prospects in production scheduling. To improve the efficacy of solving the complicated multiobjective MNIFSP,a MultiDirection Update(MDU)based Multiobjective Particle Swarm Optimization(MDU-MoPSO)is proposed in this study. For the biobjective optimization problem of the MNIFSP with minimization of makespan and total processing time, the MDU strategy divides particles into three subgroups according to a hybrid selection mechanism. Each subgroup prefers one convergence direction. Two subgroups are individually close to the two edge areas of the Pareto Front(PF)and serve two objectives, whereas the other one approaches the central area of the PF,preferring the two objectives at the same time. The MDU-MoPSO adopts a job sequence representation method and an exchange sequence-based particle update operation, which can better reflect the characteristics of sequence differences among particles. The MDU-MoPSO updates the particle in multiple directions and interacts in each direction, which speeds up the convergence while maintaining a good distribution performance. The experimental results and comparison of six classical evolutionary algorithms for various benchmark problems demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

文摘The personal best is an interesting topic, but little work has focused on whether it is still efficient for multiobjective particle swarm optimization. Experimental results validate the efficiency of our strategy.

文摘Wireless Sensor Network(WSN)consists of a group of limited energy source sensors that are installed in a particular region to collect data from the environment.Designing the energy-efficient data collection methods in largescale wireless sensor networks is considered to be a difficult area in the research.Sensor node clustering is a popular approach for WSN.Moreover, the sensor nodes are grouped to form clusters in a cluster-based WSN environment. The battery performance of the sensor nodes is likewise constrained. As a result, the energy efficiency of WSNs is critical. In specific, the energy usage is influenced by the loads on the sensor node as well as it ranges from the Base Station(BS).Therefore, energy efficiency and load balancing are very essential in WSN.In the proposed method,a novel Grey Wolf Improved Particle Swarm Optimization with Tabu Search Techniques(GW-IPSO-TS)was used. The selection of Cluster Heads(CHs)and routing path of every CH from the base station is enhanced by the proposed method. It provides the best routing path and increases the lifetime and energy efficiency of the network.End-to-end delay and packet loss rate have also been improved. The proposed GW-IPSO-TS method enhances the evaluation of alive nodes, dead nodes, network survival index, convergence rate, and standard deviation of sensor nodes.Compared to the existing algorithms, the proposed method outperforms better and improves the lifetime of the network.
