Formany years,researchers have explored power allocation(PA)algorithms driven bymodels in wireless networks where multiple-user communications with interference are present.Nowadays,data-driven machine learning method...Formany years,researchers have explored power allocation(PA)algorithms driven bymodels in wireless networks where multiple-user communications with interference are present.Nowadays,data-driven machine learning methods have become quite popular in analyzing wireless communication systems,which among them deep reinforcement learning(DRL)has a significant role in solving optimization issues under certain constraints.To this purpose,in this paper,we investigate the PA problem in a k-user multiple access channels(MAC),where k transmitters(e.g.,mobile users)aim to send an independent message to a common receiver(e.g.,base station)through wireless channels.To this end,we first train the deep Q network(DQN)with a deep Q learning(DQL)algorithm over the simulation environment,utilizing offline learning.Then,the DQN will be used with the real data in the online training method for the PA issue by maximizing the sumrate subjected to the source power.Finally,the simulation results indicate that our proposedDQNmethod provides better performance in terms of the sumrate compared with the available DQL training approaches such as fractional programming(FP)and weighted minimum mean squared error(WMMSE).Additionally,by considering different user densities,we show that our proposed DQN outperforms benchmark algorithms,thereby,a good generalization ability is verified over wireless multi-user communication systems.展开更多

With othogonal matrix triangularization (QR decomposition) of the channel matrix, the static observation equation of frequency selective fading BLAST system is transformed into a dynamic state space model, and then the particle filter is used for space-time layered detection. Making the full use of the finite alphabet of the digital modulation communication signal, the optimal proposal distribution can be chosen to produce particle and update the weight. Incorporated with current method of reducing error propagation, a new space-time layered detection algorithm is proposed. Simulation result shows the validity of the proposed algorithm.展开更多

The optimal transmitting direction which can achieve maximum channel capacity is derived using random matrices theory. In addition, the closed-form expression for the channel capacity of MIMO systems is given by utilizing the properties of Wishart distribution when SNR is high. Computer simulation results show that the channel capacity is maximized when the antenna spacing increases to a certain point, and furthermore, the larger the scattering angle is, the more quickly the channel capacity converges to its maximum. At high SNR (〉12 dB), the estimation of capacity is close to its true wlue. And, when the same array configuration is adopted both at the transmitter and the receiver, the UCA yields higher channel capacity than ULA.展开更多

This study examined the effects of ω-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid(ω-3PUFA) on the expression of toll-like receptor 2(TLR2),toll-like receptor 4(TLR4) and some related inflammatory factors in peripheral blood m...This study examined the effects of ω-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid(ω-3PUFA) on the expression of toll-like receptor 2(TLR2),toll-like receptor 4(TLR4) and some related inflammatory factors in peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMCs) of patients with early-stage severe multiple trauma.Thirty-two patients who were admitted to the Department of Traumatic Surgery,Tongji Hospital(Wuhan,China) between May 2010 and November 2010,and diagnosed as having severe multiple trauma with a injury severity score(ISS) no less than 16,were enrolled in the study and divided into two groups at random(n=16 in each):ω-3PUFA group and control group in which routine parenteral nutrition supplemented with ω-3PUFA or not was administered to the patients in two groups for consecutive 7 days.Peripheral blood from these patients was collected within 2 h of admission(day 0),and 1,3,5 and 7 days after the nutritional support.PBMCs were isolated and used for detection of the mRNA and protein expression of TLR2 and TLR4 by using real-time PCR and flow cytometry respectively,the levels of NF-κB by quantum dots-based immunofluorescence assay,the levels of TNF-α,IL-2,IL-6 and COX-2 by ELISA,respectively.The results showed that the mRNA and protein expression of TLR2 and TLR4 in PBMCs was significantly lower in ω-3PUFA group than in control group 5 and 7 days after nutrition support(both P0.05).The levels of TNF-α,IL-2,IL-6 and COX-2 were found to be substantially decreased in PBMCs in ω-3PUFA group as compared with control group at 5th and 7th day(P0.05 for all).It was concluded that ω-3PUFA can remarkably decrease the expression of TLR2,TLR4 and some related inflammatory factors in NF-κB signaling pathway in PBMCs of patients with severe multiple trauma,which suggests that ω-3PUFA may suppress the excessive inflammatory response meditated by the TLRs/NF-κB signaling pathway.展开更多

A system model is constructed based on the channel estimation error at receiver side. Using the properties of Wishart distribution, the lower bound of the channel capacity is derived when the MIMO channel is of full rank. Then a method is proposed to select the optimum set of transmit antennas based on the lower bound of the mean channel capacity. The novel method can be easily implemented with low computational complexity. The simulation results show that the channel capacity of MIMO system is sensitive to channel estimation error, and is maximized when the signal-to-noise ratio increases to a certain point. Proper selection of transmit antennas can increase the channel capacity of MIMO system by about 1 bit/s in a flat fading environment with deficient rank of channel matrix.展开更多

The characteristic of THz band is relatively different from present wireless channel and imposes tech...Terahertz(THz) communication is being considered as a potential solution to mitigate the demand for high bandwidth. The characteristic of THz band is relatively different from present wireless channel and imposes technical challenges in the design and development of communication systems. Due to the high path loss in THz band,wireless THz communication can be used for relatively short distances. Even,for a distance of few meters( > 5 m),the absorption coefficient is very high and hence the performance of the system is poor. The use of multiple antennas for wireless communication systems has gained overwhelming interest during the last two decades.Multiple Input Multiple Output( MIMO) Spatial diversity technique has been exploited in this paper to improve the performance in terahertz band. The results show that the Bit Error Rate( BER) is considerably improved for short distance( < 5 m) with MIMO. However,as the distance increases,the improvement in the error performance is not significant even with increase in the order of diversity. This is because,as distance increases,in some frequency bands the signal gets absorbed by water vapor and results in poor transmission. Adaptive modulation scheme is implemented to avoid these error prone frequencies. Adaptive modulation with receiver diversity is proposed in this work and has improved the BER performance of the channel for distance greater than 5 m.展开更多

The analytic derivation of the probability of symbol error for two main relay techniques will be provided, namely Amplify-and-Forward (AF) and Decode-and-Forward (DF). As shown by the obtained results, our switched-frequency approach results in a model that can achieve full- diversity by means of maximum-likelihood decoding at the receiver. Our results are especially important in the DF case, since in traditional techniques (such as half-duplex two-time slot approaches) two sources si-multaneously transmit on the same channel through the first time slot, which necessitates some sort of su-perposition coding. However, since in our scheme both users transmit over orthogonal channels, such a coding scheme is not required. In addition, it is shown that the DF approach based on our novel channel assign-ment scheme outperforms the AF scheme, especially in scenarios where the relay is closer to the receiver.展开更多

Wavelet analysis of solar data shows that in a certain interval of time there are several cycles of activity with pe- riods of duration which vary considerably from each other: from quasi-biennial cycles to lO0-yr cycles. Cyclic activity was detected in almost all Sun-like stars that we examined, even those that previously were not considered as stars with cyclic activity according to analysis using a Scargle periodogram. The durations of solar and stellar cycles significantly change during the observation period.展开更多
Channel parameters estimation in an orthogonal for the receiver station is a multi-dimensional (MD) frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) system optimization problem, because every user node has a separate lo...Channel parameters estimation in an orthogonal for the receiver station is a multi-dimensional (MD) frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) system optimization problem, because every user node has a separate local oscillator and every transmitter to receiver link has individual carrier frequency offset (CFO) and channel impulse response (CIR) parameters. In order to reduce the computational complexity for MD optimization, a time domain CFOs and CIRs estimation algorithm over the OFDMA based wireless multimedia sensor networks (WMSN) is proposed in this paper. In this algorithm, the receiver station can decouple the signal from every node by correlation based on specially designed training sequences, so that the MD optimization problem is simplified to an 1-D optimal problem. It is proved that the multiple CFOs can be identified from the correlation result using the phase shift of the consecutive training se- quences. Based on the CFOs estimation result, the CIRs can then he estimated according to the minimum mean square error (MMSE) criterion. The theoretic analysis and simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively decouple the signal from different user nodes and the bit error rate (BER) per- formance curves are close to the ideal estimation when the user number is not large.展开更多
[Objectives]The purpose of this study was to provide reference for cultivation and promotion of a new sugarcane variety Yuetang 03-373,on the basis of analyzing and summarizing the characters of the variety.[Methods]C...[Objectives]The purpose of this study was to provide reference for cultivation and promotion of a new sugarcane variety Yuetang 03-373,on the basis of analyzing and summarizing the characters of the variety.[Methods]Correlation,multiple regression and path analyses were performed for the yield and yield components of Yuetang 03-373.[Results]Correlation analysis shows that cane yield was significantly correlated with millable stalk number,stalk length and stalk diameter,and among them,the correlation with millable stalk number was the strongest.Multiple regression and path analyses show that millable stalk number contributed the most to cane yield,followed by stalk length,and stalk diameter contributed the least.The regression equation of cane yield against the three yield components was y=-2.8713+1.5497x1+5.8990x2-395.4294x3(R=0.9672**).[Conclusions]Millable stalk number and stalk length were the important and major factors for high yield of Yuetang 03-373,indicating that Yuetang 03-373 is a sugarcane variety of millable stalk type.In cultivation,full play should be given to the advantage of Yuetang 03-373 in millable stalk number,as well as stalk length(plant height),in order to achieve the purpose of increasing yield.展开更多

The measured ratios Rkl increase with the projectile energy at lower energies, and reach the maximum at energies of 50-150 keV/u, then decrease for higher energies, We also use the classical over barrier ionization model to calculate the ratios Rk1, and the calculation results are in good agreement with the data, which suggest that the multiple ionization process is described by the sequential over-barrier ionization process,展开更多

The analysis is consistent with the approximations usually adopted in the use of systems codes (like RELAP5 and TRACE5, among others) commonly applied to perform safety analyses of nuclear power plants. The problem is related to multiple, identical, parallel boiling channels, connected through common plena. A theoretical model limited in scope explains this flow splitting without reversal. The unified analysis performed and the confirmatory computational results found are summarized in this paper. New maps showing the zones where this behavior is predicted are also shown considering again twin pipes. Multiple pipe systems have been found not easily amenable for analytical analysis when dealing with more than four parallel pipes. However, the particular splitting found (flow along N pipes dividing in one standalone pipe flow plus N -1 identical pipe flows) has been verified up to fourteen pipes, involving calculations in systems with even and odd number of pipes using the RELAP5 systems thermal-hydraulics code.展开更多

She also had high levels of breast tumor marker (CA 15-3), severe tumor lysis syndrome, and pleural and central nervous system involvement. A few cases of multiple myeloma with diffuse osteosclerosis that are not part of POEMS syndrome (polyneuropathy, organomegaly, endocrinopathy, monoclonal gammopathy, skin changeshave) have been described. None of these cases were as aggressive as our case. To our knowledge it is the first report describing an elevation in CA 15-3 in conjunction with multiple myeloma.展开更多

The basic idea is to...Based on the analysis of the high-order compatibility optimization method proposed by predecessors, a new training image optimization method based on data event repetition probability is proposed. The basic idea is to extract the data event contained in the condition data and calculate the number of repetitions of the extracted data events and their repetition probability in the training image to obtain two statistical indicators, unmatched ratio and repeated probability variance of data events. The two statistical indicators are used to characterize the diversity and stability of the sedimentary model in the training image and evaluate the matching of the geological volume spatial structure contained in data of the well block to be modeled. The unmatched ratio reflects the completeness of geological model in training image, which is the first choice index. The repeated probability variance reflects the stationarity index of geological model of each training image, and is an auxiliary index. Then, we can integrate the above two indexes to achieve the optimization of training image. Multiple sets of theoretical model tests show that the training image with small variance and low no-matching ratio is the optimal training image. The method is used to optimize the training image of turbidite channel in Plutonio oilfield in Angola. The geological model established by this method is in good agreement with the seismic attributes and can better reproduce the morphological characteristics of the channels and distribution pattern of sands.展开更多

文摘The asymptotic behavior of solutions of a similarity equation for the laminar flow in a porous channel with suction at both expanding and contracting walls has been obtained by using a singular perturbation method.However,in the matching process,this solution neglects exponentially small terms.To take into account these exponentially small terms,a method involving the inclusion of exponentially small terms in a perturbation series was used to find two of the solutions analytically.The series involving the exponentially small terms and expansion ratio predicts dual solutions.Furthermore,the result indicates that the expansion ratio has much important influence on the solutions.
文摘In this paper,ambient IoT is used as a typical use case of massive connections for the sixth generation(6G)mobile communications where we derive the performance requirements to facilitate the evaluation of technical solutions.A rather complete design of unsourced multiple access is proposed in which two key parts:a compressed sensing module for active user detection,and a sparse interleaver-division multiple access(SIDMA)module are simulated side by side on a same platform at balanced signal to noise ratio(SNR)operating points.With a proper combination of compressed sensing matrix,a convolutional encoder,receiver algorithms,the simulated performance results appear superior to the state-of-the-art benchmark,yet with relatively less complicated processing.

文摘This study examined the effects of ω-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid(ω-3PUFA) on the expression of toll-like receptor 2(TLR2),toll-like receptor 4(TLR4) and some related inflammatory factors in peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMCs) of patients with early-stage severe multiple trauma.Thirty-two patients who were admitted to the Department of Traumatic Surgery,Tongji Hospital(Wuhan,China) between May 2010 and November 2010,and diagnosed as having severe multiple trauma with a injury severity score(ISS) no less than 16,were enrolled in the study and divided into two groups at random(n=16 in each):ω-3PUFA group and control group in which routine parenteral nutrition supplemented with ω-3PUFA or not was administered to the patients in two groups for consecutive 7 days.Peripheral blood from these patients was collected within 2 h of admission(day 0),and 1,3,5 and 7 days after the nutritional support.PBMCs were isolated and used for detection of the mRNA and protein expression of TLR2 and TLR4 by using real-time PCR and flow cytometry respectively,the levels of NF-κB by quantum dots-based immunofluorescence assay,the levels of TNF-α,IL-2,IL-6 and COX-2 by ELISA,respectively.The results showed that the mRNA and protein expression of TLR2 and TLR4 in PBMCs was significantly lower in ω-3PUFA group than in control group 5 and 7 days after nutrition support(both P0.05).The levels of TNF-α,IL-2,IL-6 and COX-2 were found to be substantially decreased in PBMCs in ω-3PUFA group as compared with control group at 5th and 7th day(P0.05 for all).It was concluded that ω-3PUFA can remarkably decrease the expression of TLR2,TLR4 and some related inflammatory factors in NF-κB signaling pathway in PBMCs of patients with severe multiple trauma,which suggests that ω-3PUFA may suppress the excessive inflammatory response meditated by the TLRs/NF-κB signaling pathway.

文摘In order to investigate the impact of channel estimation error on channel capacity of multiple input multiple output (MIMO) system, a novel method is proposed to explore the channel capacity in correlated Rayleigh fading environment. A system model is constructed based on the channel estimation error at receiver side. Using the properties of Wishart distribution, the lower bound of the channel capacity is derived when the MIMO channel is of full rank. Then a method is proposed to select the optimum set of transmit antennas based on the lower bound of the mean channel capacity. The novel method can be easily implemented with low computational complexity. The simulation results show that the channel capacity of MIMO system is sensitive to channel estimation error, and is maximized when the signal-to-noise ratio increases to a certain point. Proper selection of transmit antennas can increase the channel capacity of MIMO system by about 1 bit/s in a flat fading environment with deficient rank of channel matrix.

文摘In this paper,we investigate the performance of the two-way Amplify-and-Forward(AF) relaying systems in an interference-limited Rayleigh fading environment.More specifically,assuming the presence of Rayleigh faded multiple interferers at the AF relay and noisy sources,an approximate closed-form expression for the Overall Outage Probability(OOP) and an integral expression for the average Symbol Error Probability(SEP) are derived.The analysis results are verified through com-parison with the Monte Carlo simulation results.
文摘Terahertz(THz) communication is being considered as a potential solution to mitigate the demand for high bandwidth. The characteristic of THz band is relatively different from present wireless channel and imposes technical challenges in the design and development of communication systems. Due to the high path loss in THz band,wireless THz communication can be used for relatively short distances. Even,for a distance of few meters( > 5 m),the absorption coefficient is very high and hence the performance of the system is poor. The use of multiple antennas for wireless communication systems has gained overwhelming interest during the last two decades.Multiple Input Multiple Output( MIMO) Spatial diversity technique has been exploited in this paper to improve the performance in terahertz band. The results show that the Bit Error Rate( BER) is considerably improved for short distance( < 5 m) with MIMO. However,as the distance increases,the improvement in the error performance is not significant even with increase in the order of diversity. This is because,as distance increases,in some frequency bands the signal gets absorbed by water vapor and results in poor transmission. Adaptive modulation scheme is implemented to avoid these error prone frequencies. Adaptive modulation with receiver diversity is proposed in this work and has improved the BER performance of the channel for distance greater than 5 m.
文摘In this paper we present the performance analysis of a novel channel assignment scheme where two non-cooperative independent users simultaneously communicate with their destination through a single relay by using only two frequency channels. The analytic derivation of the probability of symbol error for two main relay techniques will be provided, namely Amplify-and-Forward (AF) and Decode-and-Forward (DF). As shown by the obtained results, our switched-frequency approach results in a model that can achieve full- diversity by means of maximum-likelihood decoding at the receiver. Our results are especially important in the DF case, since in traditional techniques (such as half-duplex two-time slot approaches) two sources si-multaneously transmit on the same channel through the first time slot, which necessitates some sort of su-perposition coding. However, since in our scheme both users transmit over orthogonal channels, such a coding scheme is not required. In addition, it is shown that the DF approach based on our novel channel assign-ment scheme outperforms the AF scheme, especially in scenarios where the relay is closer to the receiver.
文摘The wavelet transform method for high-quality time-frequency analysis is applied to sets of observations of relative sunspot numbers and stellar chromosphere fluxes of 10 Sun-like stars. Wavelet analysis of solar data shows that in a certain interval of time there are several cycles of activity with pe- riods of duration which vary considerably from each other: from quasi-biennial cycles to lO0-yr cycles. Cyclic activity was detected in almost all Sun-like stars that we examined, even those that previously were not considered as stars with cyclic activity according to analysis using a Scargle periodogram. The durations of solar and stellar cycles significantly change during the observation period.

文摘Channel parameters estimation in an orthogonal for the receiver station is a multi-dimensional (MD) frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) system optimization problem, because every user node has a separate local oscillator and every transmitter to receiver link has individual carrier frequency offset (CFO) and channel impulse response (CIR) parameters. In order to reduce the computational complexity for MD optimization, a time domain CFOs and CIRs estimation algorithm over the OFDMA based wireless multimedia sensor networks (WMSN) is proposed in this paper. In this algorithm, the receiver station can decouple the signal from every node by correlation based on specially designed training sequences, so that the MD optimization problem is simplified to an 1-D optimal problem. It is proved that the multiple CFOs can be identified from the correlation result using the phase shift of the consecutive training se- quences. Based on the CFOs estimation result, the CIRs can then he estimated according to the minimum mean square error (MMSE) criterion. The theoretic analysis and simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively decouple the signal from different user nodes and the bit error rate (BER) per- formance curves are close to the ideal estimation when the user number is not large.

文摘[Objectives]The purpose of this study was to provide reference for cultivation and promotion of a new sugarcane variety Yuetang 03-373,on the basis of analyzing and summarizing the characters of the variety.[Methods]Correlation,multiple regression and path analyses were performed for the yield and yield components of Yuetang 03-373.[Results]Correlation analysis shows that cane yield was significantly correlated with millable stalk number,stalk length and stalk diameter,and among them,the correlation with millable stalk number was the strongest.Multiple regression and path analyses show that millable stalk number contributed the most to cane yield,followed by stalk length,and stalk diameter contributed the least.The regression equation of cane yield against the three yield components was y=-2.8713+1.5497x1+5.8990x2-395.4294x3(R=0.9672**).[Conclusions]Millable stalk number and stalk length were the important and major factors for high yield of Yuetang 03-373,indicating that Yuetang 03-373 is a sugarcane variety of millable stalk type.In cultivation,full play should be given to the advantage of Yuetang 03-373 in millable stalk number,as well as stalk length(plant height),in order to achieve the purpose of increasing yield.
文摘We measure the multiple ionization cross-section ratios Rk1 of Ar impacted by Cw+ (q= 1-3) ions in the energy range of 20-500 keV/u. The measured ratios Rkl increase with the projectile energy at lower energies, and reach the maximum at energies of 50-150 keV/u, then decrease for higher energies, We also use the classical over barrier ionization model to calculate the ratios Rk1, and the calculation results are in good agreement with the data, which suggest that the multiple ionization process is described by the sequential over-barrier ionization process,
文摘Previous analytical results on flow splitting are generalized to consider multiple boiling channels systems. The analysis is consistent with the approximations usually adopted in the use of systems codes (like RELAP5 and TRACE5, among others) commonly applied to perform safety analyses of nuclear power plants. The problem is related to multiple, identical, parallel boiling channels, connected through common plena. A theoretical model limited in scope explains this flow splitting without reversal. The unified analysis performed and the confirmatory computational results found are summarized in this paper. New maps showing the zones where this behavior is predicted are also shown considering again twin pipes. Multiple pipe systems have been found not easily amenable for analytical analysis when dealing with more than four parallel pipes. However, the particular splitting found (flow along N pipes dividing in one standalone pipe flow plus N -1 identical pipe flows) has been verified up to fourteen pipes, involving calculations in systems with even and odd number of pipes using the RELAP5 systems thermal-hydraulics code.
文摘We report the case of a 56-year-old female who had recently been examined for back and epigastric pain, and was diagnosed in the internal medicine ward as having an aggressive rare form of multiple myeloma with diffuse osteoblastic bone lesions. She also had high levels of breast tumor marker (CA 15-3), severe tumor lysis syndrome, and pleural and central nervous system involvement. A few cases of multiple myeloma with diffuse osteosclerosis that are not part of POEMS syndrome (polyneuropathy, organomegaly, endocrinopathy, monoclonal gammopathy, skin changeshave) have been described. None of these cases were as aggressive as our case. To our knowledge it is the first report describing an elevation in CA 15-3 in conjunction with multiple myeloma.

文摘Based on the analysis of the high-order compatibility optimization method proposed by predecessors, a new training image optimization method based on data event repetition probability is proposed. The basic idea is to extract the data event contained in the condition data and calculate the number of repetitions of the extracted data events and their repetition probability in the training image to obtain two statistical indicators, unmatched ratio and repeated probability variance of data events. The two statistical indicators are used to characterize the diversity and stability of the sedimentary model in the training image and evaluate the matching of the geological volume spatial structure contained in data of the well block to be modeled. The unmatched ratio reflects the completeness of geological model in training image, which is the first choice index. The repeated probability variance reflects the stationarity index of geological model of each training image, and is an auxiliary index. Then, we can integrate the above two indexes to achieve the optimization of training image. Multiple sets of theoretical model tests show that the training image with small variance and low no-matching ratio is the optimal training image. The method is used to optimize the training image of turbidite channel in Plutonio oilfield in Angola. The geological model established by this method is in good agreement with the seismic attributes and can better reproduce the morphological characteristics of the channels and distribution pattern of sands.
