The fatigue life of aeroengine turbine disc presents great dispersion due to the randomness of the basic variables,such as applied load,working temperature,geometrical dimensions and material properties.In order to am...The fatigue life of aeroengine turbine disc presents great dispersion due to the randomness of the basic variables,such as applied load,working temperature,geometrical dimensions and material properties.In order to ameliorate reliability analysis efficiency without loss of reliability,the distributed collaborative response surface method(DCRSM) was proposed,and its basic theories were established in this work.Considering the failure dependency among the failure modes,the distributed response surface was constructed to establish the relationship between the failure mode and the relevant random variables.Then,the failure modes were considered as the random variables of system response to obtain the distributed collaborative response surface model based on structure failure criterion.Finally,the given turbine disc structure was employed to illustrate the feasibility and validity of the presented method.Through the comparison of DCRSM,Monte Carlo method(MCM) and the traditional response surface method(RSM),the results show that the computational precision for DCRSM is more consistent with MCM than RSM,while DCRSM needs far less computing time than MCM and RSM under the same simulation conditions.Thus,DCRSM is demonstrated to be a feasible and valid approach for improving the computational efficiency of reliability analysis for aeroengine turbine disc fatigue life with multiple random variables,and has great potential value for the complicated mechanical structure with multi-component and multi-failure mode.展开更多

This algorithm realizes the adaptive model set by adaptive grid adjustment, and obtains each model matching degree in the model set by fuzzy logic inference. The simulation results show that the AGFIMM algorithm can effectively improve the accuracy and cost-efficiency ratio of the multiple model algorithm, and as a result is suitable for enineering apolications.展开更多

An empirical study is given to compare the performance of the proposed estimators with the existing estimators that utilize auxiliary variable(s) for finite population mean. It has been found that the generalized Ra-tio-cum-product estimator in full information case using multiple auxiliary variables is more efficient than mean per unit, ratio and product estimator using one auxiliary variable, ratio and product estimator using multiple auxiliary variable and ratio-cum-product estimators in both partial and no information case in two phase sampling. A generalized Ratio-cum-product estimator in partial information case is more efficient than Generalized Ratio-cum-product estimator in No information case.展开更多

Variable code sets (VCS), a spreading codes selection scheme, can imp...This paper investigates a peak to average power ratio (PAPR) reduction method in multicarrier code division multiple access (MC-CDMA) system. Variable code sets (VCS), a spreading codes selection scheme, can improve the PAPR property of the MC-CDMA signals, but this technique requires an exhaustive search over the combinations of spreading code sets. It is observed that when the number of active users increases, the search complexity will increase exponentially. Based on this fact, we propose a low complexity VCS (LC-VCS) method to reduce the computational complexity. The basic idea of LC-VCS is to derive new signals using the relationship between candidature signals. Simulation results show that the proposed approach can reduce PAPR with lower comtational pucomplexity. In addition, it can be blindly received without any side information.展开更多

Stress redistribution around underground excavation may lead to various failure modes, including compressive-shear, tensile-shear, and tensile failures. The ability to perform laboratory tests with these complex stress states is significant for establishing new strength criteria. The present paper introduces a new rock testing system with “tensile-compressive-shear”loading functions. The device includes bi-directional and double-range hydraulic cylinders, auxiliary loading equipment, and roller rows that can perform direct compressive-shear tests, direct tensile tests,and direct tensile-shear tests. The testing system provides maximum vertical and lateral loading forces of2000 k N and allows testing cubical rock specimens with dimensions of 0.5 m × 0.5 m × 0.5 m. The performance of the testing machine was evaluated by testing a rock-like material based on cement mortar under compressive-shear, tensile, and tensile-shear stress states. The failure process and deformation characteristics were monitored during loading using acoustic emission(AE) transient recorder,piezoelectric AE sensors, a high-speed camera, and a thermal infrared camera. The failure mechanism was investigated by analyzing AE counts, AE amplitude, strain, and temperature changes on the rock specimen surface. The test results confirmed that the testing system could successfully simulate the abovementioned stress path. The AE counts and amplitude responses were influenced by different failure modes. The temperature response during the compressive-shear test indicated the development of a high-temperature band on the rock specimen surface. In contrast, a negligible temperature change was observed during the tensile and tensile-shear tests. The newly developed multifunctional rock testing system allows laboratory tests under various failure modes. The monitoring results of multiple variables during rock failure tests provide valuable information on failure characteristics.展开更多

The holes will lead to mutations and discontinuity to...The strength of composite plate with different hole-shapes is always one of the most important but complicated issues in the application of the composite material. The holes will lead to mutations and discontinuity to the structure. So the hole-edge stress concentration is always a serious phenomenon. And the phenomenon makes the structure strength decrease very quickly to form dangerous weak points. Most partial damage begins from these weak points. According to the complex variable functions theory, the accurate boundary condition of composite plate with different hole-shapes is founded by conformal mapping method to settle the boundary condition problem of complex hole-shapes. Composite plate with commonly hole-shapes in engineering is studied by several complex variable stress fimction. The boundary integral equations are founded based on exact boundary conditions. Then the exact hole-edge stress analytic solution of composite plate with rectangle holes and wing manholes is resolved. Both of offset axis loadings and its influences on the stress concentration coefficient of the hole-edge are discussed. And comparisons of different loads along various offset axis on the hole-edge stress distribution of orthotropic plate with rectangle hole or wing manhole are made. It can be concluded that hole-edge with continuous variable curvatures might help to decrease the stress concentration coefficient; and smaller angle of outer load and fiber can decrease the stress peak value.展开更多

It is an adaptive variable structure interacting multiple model estimator with dyn...A new algorithm is developed to achieve accurate state estimation in ground moving target tracking by means of using road information. It is an adaptive variable structure interacting multiple model estimator with dynamic models modification (DMM VS-IMM for short). Firstly, road information is employed to modify the target dynamic models used by filter, including modification of state transition matrix and process noise. Secondly, road information is applied to update the model set of a VS-IMM estimator. Predicted state estimation and road information are used to locate the target in the road network on which the model set is updated and finally IMM filtering is implemented. As compared with traditional methods, the accuracy of state estimation is improved for target moving not only on a single road, but also through an intersection. Monte Carlo simulation demonstrates the efficiency and robustness of the proposed algorithm with moderate computational loads.展开更多
Objective:To explore the the status of happiness and social support of empty nesters in Guangdong Province and analyze the relationship between the above two variables.Method:Totally 1148 empty nesters(776 males,734 f...Objective:To explore the the status of happiness and social support of empty nesters in Guangdong Province and analyze the relationship between the above two variables.Method:Totally 1148 empty nesters(776 males,734 females)from 5 cities in Guangdong province are selected by stratified random sampling and conducted with Memorial University of Newfoundland Scale of Happiness(MUNSH),Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS),Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE)and a self-edited questionnaire on the general information.Results:The total score of MUNSH is(10.20±6.37).The total score and the scores of the 3 dimensions of objective support,subject support,the use of support in SSRS are(30.79±5.51),(9.24±2.37),(19.38±4.95)and(9.22±2.15)respectively.Multiple variable linear regression show that are positively associated with the total scores of MUNSH(B=.227,.115,.098,.158,.082,respectively,P<.05).was negatively associated with total score of MUNSH(B=-.097,P<.05).Conclusion:It suggests that the sort of leisure,gender,progress rank,family characteristics,such as family economic condition and father’s career may be related factors of undergraduates life satisfaction.展开更多
Soil carbon to nitrogen(C/N) ratio is one of the most important variables reflecting soil quality and ecological function,and an indicator for assessing carbon and nitrogen nutrition balance of soils.Its variation ref...Soil carbon to nitrogen(C/N) ratio is one of the most important variables reflecting soil quality and ecological function,and an indicator for assessing carbon and nitrogen nutrition balance of soils.Its variation reflects the carbon and nitrogen cycling of soils.In order to explore the spatial variability of soil C/N ratio and its controlling factors of the Ili River valley in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,Northwest China,the traditional statistical methods,including correlation analysis,geostatistic alanalys and multiple regression analysis were used.The statistical results showed that the soil C/N ratio varied from 7.00 to 23.11,with a mean value of 10.92,and the coefficient of variation was 31.3%.Correlation analysis showed that longitude,altitude,precipitation,soil water,organic carbon,and total nitrogen were positively correlated with the soil C/N ratio(P < 0.01),whereas negative correlations were found between the soil C/N ratio and latitude,temperature,soil bulk density and soil p H.Ordinary Cokriging interpolation showed that r and ME were 0.73 and 0.57,respectively,indicating that the prediction accuracy was high.The spatial autocorrelation of the soil C/N ratio was 6.4 km,and the nugget effect of the soil C/N ratio was 10% with a patchy distribution,in which the area with high value(12.00–20.41) accounted for 22.6% of the total area.Land uses changed the soil C/N ratio with the order of cultivated land > grass land > forest land > garden.Multiple regression analysis showed that geographical and climatic factors,and soil physical and chemical properties could independently explain 26.8%and 55.4% of the spatial features of soil C/N ratio,while human activities could independently explain 5.4% of the spatial features only.The spatial distribution of soil C/N ratio in the study has important reference value for managing soil carbon and nitrogen,and for improving ecological function to similar regions.展开更多

By analyzing the results of compliance minimization of thermoelastic structures,we observed that microstructures play an important role in this optimization problem.Then,we propose to use a multiple variable cutting(M...By analyzing the results of compliance minimization of thermoelastic structures,we observed that microstructures play an important role in this optimization problem.Then,we propose to use a multiple variable cutting(M-VCUT)level set-based model of microstructures to solve the concurrent two-scale topology optimization of thermoelastic structures.A microstructure is obtained by combining multiple virtual microstructures that are derived respectively from multiple microstructure prototypes,thus giving more diversity of microstructure and more flexibility in design optimization.The effective mechanical properties of microstructures are computed in an off-line phase by using the homogenization method,and then a mapping relationship between the design variables and the effective properties is established,which gives a data-driven model of microstructure.In the online phase,the data-driven model is used in the finite element analysis to improve the computational efficiency.The compliance minimization problem is considered,and the results of numerical examples prove that the proposed method is effective.展开更多

In another word,variable-weights neural network is proposed to solve a multi-variable, strongly nonlinear, dynamic and time-varying problem. By making weights a function of input, variable-weights neural network’s nonlinear expressive capability is increased dramatically at the same time of decreasing the number of parameters. Results demonstrate that although variable-weights neural network and other algorithms excel in different analytical redundancy tasks, due to the fact that variableweights neural network’s calculation time is less than one fifth of other algorithms, the calculation efficiency of variable-weights neural network is five times more than other algorithms. Variableweights neural network not only provides critical variable-weights thought that could be applied in almost all machine learning methods, but also blazes a new way to apply deep learning methods to aeroengines.展开更多

In model-conditioned filtering, sampl...In order to track ground moving target, a variable structure interacting multiple model (VS-IMM) using mean shift unscented particle filter (MS-UPF) is proposed in this paper. In model-conditioned filtering, sample particles obtained from the unscented particle filter are moved towards the maximal posterior density estimation of the target state through mean shift. On the basis of stop model in VS-IMM, hide model is proposed. Once the target is obscured by terrain, the prediction at prior time is used instead of the measurement at posterior time; in addition, the road model set used is not changed. A ground moving target indication (GMTI) radar is employed in three common simulation scenarios of ground target: entering or leaving a road, crossing a junction and no measurement. Two evaluation indexes, root mean square error (RMSE) and average normalized estimation error squared (ANEES), are used. The results indicate that when the road on which the target moving changes, the tracking accuracy is effectively improved in the proposed algorithm. Moreover, track interruption could be avoided if the target is moving too slowly or masked by terrain.展开更多

Our operator is of the most general form containing all previous ones and we also weaken assumptions on the operator and the nonlinearity to get the above results. Moreover, we do not impose the restricted condition on p(x) and the uniform monotonicity of the operator to show the existence of three distinct solutions.展开更多

文摘The determination of material formula needs try-and-error experiment,and consumes large amount of time and fund.In order to solve the problem,a comprehensive method is established,via the experiment of artificial-similar material formula of a mine slope.We controlled the samples by the compactness,and arranged the formula of the test group with the method of the uniform formula experiment.The physical and mechanical parameters of these samples were analyzed using the method of the partial least-squares regression(PLS).And a mathematical model of the indexes of physical and mechanics parameters relating to the factors of formulation constituents was established eventually.We used the model to analyze the effect of each formulation constituent on physical and mechanics parameters of samples.The experiment results and analysis illustrates that1)in the formulation of similar material,the effect of raw materials on the internal friction angleφand cohesion C is opposite;2)The method can highly facilitate the process of the of preparing artificial-similar materials,more economic and effective.

文摘A new algorithm is developed to achieve accurate state estimation in ground moving target tracking by means of using road information. It is an adaptive variable structure interacting multiple model estimator with dynamic models modification (DMM VS-IMM for short). Firstly, road information is employed to modify the target dynamic models used by filter, including modification of state transition matrix and process noise. Secondly, road information is applied to update the model set of a VS-IMM estimator. Predicted state estimation and road information are used to locate the target in the road network on which the model set is updated and finally IMM filtering is implemented. As compared with traditional methods, the accuracy of state estimation is improved for target moving not only on a single road, but also through an intersection. Monte Carlo simulation demonstrates the efficiency and robustness of the proposed algorithm with moderate computational loads.
文摘Objective:To explore the the status of happiness and social support of empty nesters in Guangdong Province and analyze the relationship between the above two variables.Method:Totally 1148 empty nesters(776 males,734 females)from 5 cities in Guangdong province are selected by stratified random sampling and conducted with Memorial University of Newfoundland Scale of Happiness(MUNSH),Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS),Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE)and a self-edited questionnaire on the general information.Results:The total score of MUNSH is(10.20±6.37).The total score and the scores of the 3 dimensions of objective support,subject support,the use of support in SSRS are(30.79±5.51),(9.24±2.37),(19.38±4.95)and(9.22±2.15)respectively.Multiple variable linear regression show that are positively associated with the total scores of MUNSH(B=.227,.115,.098,.158,.082,respectively,P<.05).was negatively associated with total score of MUNSH(B=-.097,P<.05).Conclusion:It suggests that the sort of leisure,gender,progress rank,family characteristics,such as family economic condition and father’s career may be related factors of undergraduates life satisfaction.

文摘Soil carbon to nitrogen(C/N) ratio is one of the most important variables reflecting soil quality and ecological function,and an indicator for assessing carbon and nitrogen nutrition balance of soils.Its variation reflects the carbon and nitrogen cycling of soils.In order to explore the spatial variability of soil C/N ratio and its controlling factors of the Ili River valley in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,Northwest China,the traditional statistical methods,including correlation analysis,geostatistic alanalys and multiple regression analysis were used.The statistical results showed that the soil C/N ratio varied from 7.00 to 23.11,with a mean value of 10.92,and the coefficient of variation was 31.3%.Correlation analysis showed that longitude,altitude,precipitation,soil water,organic carbon,and total nitrogen were positively correlated with the soil C/N ratio(P < 0.01),whereas negative correlations were found between the soil C/N ratio and latitude,temperature,soil bulk density and soil p H.Ordinary Cokriging interpolation showed that r and ME were 0.73 and 0.57,respectively,indicating that the prediction accuracy was high.The spatial autocorrelation of the soil C/N ratio was 6.4 km,and the nugget effect of the soil C/N ratio was 10% with a patchy distribution,in which the area with high value(12.00–20.41) accounted for 22.6% of the total area.Land uses changed the soil C/N ratio with the order of cultivated land > grass land > forest land > garden.Multiple regression analysis showed that geographical and climatic factors,and soil physical and chemical properties could independently explain 26.8%and 55.4% of the spatial features of soil C/N ratio,while human activities could independently explain 5.4% of the spatial features only.The spatial distribution of soil C/N ratio in the study has important reference value for managing soil carbon and nitrogen,and for improving ecological function to similar regions.

文摘By analyzing the results of compliance minimization of thermoelastic structures,we observed that microstructures play an important role in this optimization problem.Then,we propose to use a multiple variable cutting(M-VCUT)level set-based model of microstructures to solve the concurrent two-scale topology optimization of thermoelastic structures.A microstructure is obtained by combining multiple virtual microstructures that are derived respectively from multiple microstructure prototypes,thus giving more diversity of microstructure and more flexibility in design optimization.The effective mechanical properties of microstructures are computed in an off-line phase by using the homogenization method,and then a mapping relationship between the design variables and the effective properties is established,which gives a data-driven model of microstructure.In the online phase,the data-driven model is used in the finite element analysis to improve the computational efficiency.The compliance minimization problem is considered,and the results of numerical examples prove that the proposed method is effective.

文摘The tracking of maneuvering targets in radar networking scenarios is studied in this paper.For the interacting multiple model algorithm and the expected-mode augmentation algorithm,the fixed base model set leads to a mismatch between the model set and the target motion mode,which causes the reduction on tracking accuracy.An adaptive grid-expected-mode augmentation variable structure multiple model algorithm is proposed.The adaptive grid algorithm based on the turning model is extended to the two-dimensional pattern space to realize the self-adaptation of the model set.Furthermore,combining with the unscented information filtering,and by interacting the measurement information of neighboring radars and iterating information matrix with consistency strategy,a distributed target tracking algorithm based on the posterior information of the information matrix is proposed.For the problem of filtering divergence while target is leaving radar surveillance area,a k-coverage algorithm based on particle swarm optimization is applied to plan the radar motion trajectory for achieving filtering convergence.

文摘In this paper, variable-weights neural network is proposed to construct variable cycle engine’s analytical redundancy, when all control variables and environmental variables are changing simultaneously, also accompanied with the whole engine’s degradation. In another word,variable-weights neural network is proposed to solve a multi-variable, strongly nonlinear, dynamic and time-varying problem. By making weights a function of input, variable-weights neural network’s nonlinear expressive capability is increased dramatically at the same time of decreasing the number of parameters. Results demonstrate that although variable-weights neural network and other algorithms excel in different analytical redundancy tasks, due to the fact that variableweights neural network’s calculation time is less than one fifth of other algorithms, the calculation efficiency of variable-weights neural network is five times more than other algorithms. Variableweights neural network not only provides critical variable-weights thought that could be applied in almost all machine learning methods, but also blazes a new way to apply deep learning methods to aeroengines.
文摘In order to track ground moving target, a variable structure interacting multiple model (VS-IMM) using mean shift unscented particle filter (MS-UPF) is proposed in this paper. In model-conditioned filtering, sample particles obtained from the unscented particle filter are moved towards the maximal posterior density estimation of the target state through mean shift. On the basis of stop model in VS-IMM, hide model is proposed. Once the target is obscured by terrain, the prediction at prior time is used instead of the measurement at posterior time; in addition, the road model set used is not changed. A ground moving target indication (GMTI) radar is employed in three common simulation scenarios of ground target: entering or leaving a road, crossing a junction and no measurement. Two evaluation indexes, root mean square error (RMSE) and average normalized estimation error squared (ANEES), are used. The results indicate that when the road on which the target moving changes, the tracking accuracy is effectively improved in the proposed algorithm. Moreover, track interruption could be avoided if the target is moving too slowly or masked by terrain.

文摘We show the existence and multiplicity of solutions to degenerate p(x)-Laplace equations with Leray-Lions type operators using direct methods and critical point theories in Calculus of Variations and prove the uniqueness and nonnegativeness of solutions when the principal operator is monotone and the nonlinearity is nonincreasing. Our operator is of the most general form containing all previous ones and we also weaken assumptions on the operator and the nonlinearity to get the above results. Moreover, we do not impose the restricted condition on p(x) and the uniform monotonicity of the operator to show the existence of three distinct solutions.
