The Kevlar/polytetrafluroethylene(Kevlar/PTFE) fabric composite can be used as a self-lubricating liner of the self-lubricating bearing.Many types of nano-particles can improve the tribological performance of the polymer-based composite.Unfortunately,up to now,published work on the effect of nano-particles on the tribological performance of the fabric composite which can be used as a self-lubricating liner is quite scarce.Therefore,for the purpose of exploring a way to significantly improve the tribological performance of the fabric composite,the tribological performance of the Kevlar/PTFE fabric composite filled with nano-titania is evaluated by using the block-on-ring wear tester.The scanning electron microscopy is utilized to observe the morphologies of worn surfaces of the fabric composites and the counterparts.The tensile properties of the composites are evaluated on the universal material testing machine.The test results show that the addition of nano-titania at a proper mass fraction of the matrix resin improves the wear resistance and the tensile strength,decreases the friction coefficient,and makes the wear volume of the composite reach a relative steady state more quickly;plastic deformation and microcutting are important for the wear of the fabric composite;a lubricating layer is formed on the worn surface of the composite during sliding,and the lubricating layer is critical for the tribological performance of the composite;the formation and properties of the lubricating layer are influenced by the nano-titania particles.The proposed study on the effect of nano-titania on the tribological performance of the Kevlar/PTFE fabric composite,especially on the evolution of the worn surface of the composite,provides the basis for further understanding of the influence mechanism of the nano-particles on the tribological performance of the composite and explores a method of improving the tribological performance of the composite. 展开更多

In this study, a new technique of air cleaning by plasma combined with catalyst was proposed, which consisted of electrostatic precipitation, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) decomposition and sterilization. A novel indoor air purifier based on this technique was adopted. The experimental results showed that formaldehyde decomposition by the plasma-catalyst hybrid system was more efficient than that by plasma only, Positive discharge was better than negative discharge in formaldehyde removal. Meanwhile, the outlet concentration of ozone byproduct was effectively reduced by the nano-titania catalyst. 展开更多

PEG (Polyethylene Glycol)-grafted nano-titania has been obtained in a one-step procedure using hexamethylene diisocyanate as the coupling agent and dibutyltin dilaurate as the catalyst in toluene at 80℃ and characterized qualitatively by FTIR and quantitatively by elemental analysis and thermogravimetric analysis. A comparison of nano-titania with two other commonly used inorganic nanoparticles, nano-silica and nano-alumina, is made, revealing that reactivity order is nano- silica 〉 nano-alumina 〉 nano-titania in view of PEG grafting. In order to study the structure transition during calcination, nano-titania powders prepared by hydrolyzing precipitation approach and calcined at 300, 400, 500, 600 and 700 ℃ were characterized by XRD, TEM and electron diffraction(ED), respectively. The results show that titania powders calcined below 500 ℃ are almost composed of anatase, rutile appears below 500 ℃ and its ratio increases gradually with increase of calcin temperature; nano-titania particles are smaller than 40 nm mostly and the dispersion is related to calcining temperature; the inter-planar distances of nano-anatase single crystalline change gradually when calcing temperature increases to 500 ℃; so do that of nano-rutile single crystalline when calcining temperature charges from 600 to 700 ℃. The conclusions can be drawn that the temperature of transformation from anatase to rutile is below 500 ℃ and the process carries on gradually. Both inter-planar distances and the structure of nano-titania transform gradually with increasing calcing temperature. 展开更多

利用Sin-QuEChERS Nano净化柱结合气相色谱-串联质谱(GC-MS/MS)分析,建立了石斛基质中84种不同极性农药残留的快速筛查方法。比较了采用不同的提取溶剂(1%乙酸乙腈、丙酮)和不同的提取方式(加水浸泡和不加水浸泡)下目标物的提取效率。... 利用Sin-QuEChERS Nano净化柱结合气相色谱-串联质谱(GC-MS/MS)分析,建立了石斛基质中84种不同极性农药残留的快速筛查方法。比较了采用不同的提取溶剂(1%乙酸乙腈、丙酮)和不同的提取方式(加水浸泡和不加水浸泡)下目标物的提取效率。利用金钗石斛样品系统比较了Sin-QuEChERS Nano法与经典的基质固相分散法(dSPE)、固相萃取法(SPE)、QuEChERS法的净化效果及提取回收率,以及净化效果较好的Sin-QuEChERS Nano法与dSPE法基质效应的差异。目标物经DB-1701MS石英毛细管色谱柱(30 m×0.25 mm×0.25μm)程序升温分离,GC-MS/MS多反应监测(MRM)模式检测,基质匹配溶液外标法定量。通过GC-MS/MS检测方法对金钗石斛和铁皮石斛中的84种代表性农药进行了方法学验证。结果表明:各目标物在不同范围内呈良好的线性相关,相关系数(r^(2))均>0.990,方法的检出限(LOD,S/N=3)为1.5~5.8μg/kg,方法的定量限(LOQ,S/N=10)为5.0~15.0μg/kg。在两个水平下,目标农药的加标回收率为68.7%~116.2%,相对标准偏差(RSD,n=6)均低于15%。与其他经典的前处理方法相比,Sin-QuEChERS Nano法在净化效果方面表现更好,该法不仅可以有效去除色素、有机酸、碱性干扰物等物质,还可以节省样品制备时间,避免溶剂转移造成的损失,无需进一步涡旋或离心,是一种简单而有效的提取物纯化程序。该方法灵敏、快速、简便、可靠,有效地提高了石斛中农药快速筛查时的检测效率,具有较强的实际应用价值。此外,所开发的方法可以进一步扩展目标农药的类型,并可以用于检测其他更多食品及中药材中的农药残留。 展开更多

建立了Simple-QuEChERS Nano结合气相色谱-串联质谱(GC-MS/MS)同时检测血液中97种农药的方法,并对基质条件、提取溶剂以及净化材料进行了优化。0.5 mL血液样品经3倍水稀释混匀,使用2.0 mL乙酸乙酯提取后振荡、离心,过Simple-QuEChERS N... 建立了Simple-QuEChERS Nano结合气相色谱-串联质谱(GC-MS/MS)同时检测血液中97种农药的方法,并对基质条件、提取溶剂以及净化材料进行了优化。0.5 mL血液样品经3倍水稀释混匀,使用2.0 mL乙酸乙酯提取后振荡、离心,过Simple-QuEChERS Nano净化柱及0.22μm有机微孔滤膜后,采用多反应监测模式(MRM)进行分析。结果显示,97种农药在一定质量浓度范围内线性关系良好(r2≥0.9873),除丙烯菊酯(检出限和定量下限分别为11.03、36.76 ng/mL)外,其余农药的检出限为0.06~4.27 ng/mL,定量下限为0.18~14.24 ng/mL。采用空白全血进行加标回收实验,97种农药在100、200、400 ng/mL 3个加标水平下的回收率为32.2%~120%,日内精密度为1.9%~11%,日间精密度为3.6%~13%。该方法由传统QuEChERS方法改进,绿色环保、操作简单、快速高效,可用于血液中多种农药的同时检测,用于实际案件血液样品中农药的筛查与定性定量检验,获得了良好的结果。 展开更多

TiO2 powders with different Fe^3+ / Ti^4 + molar ratios ranging from 0. 05% to 25% were synthesized by calcinating the gels in the temperature range of 200-600 ℃ . The effects of the content of iron ions and calcination temperature on the physical properties of the powders and their photocatalytic activities were examined by the photodecorapositon of methyl orange in sunlight. The results show that Fe dopant can decrease the temperature of nanatase-ratile transformation. The ideal photocatalytic property was achieved when the sample with an Fe^3+ / Ti^4+ ratio of 20 at% was calcined at about 300 ℃ for an hour, which is superior to that of commercial Degussa P-25. The optimum microstructure of the Fe-doped TiO2 for a high photocatalytic activity in sunlight is consisted of nanatase and ratile. 展开更多

Titania coating of multi wall carbon nano tube(MWCNT) was carried out by sol-gel method in order to improve its photo catalytic properties.The effect of MWCNT/TiO_2 mass to volume ratio on adsorption ability,reaction rate and photo-catalytic removal efficiency of dibenzothiophene(DBT) from n-hexane solution was investigated using a 9 W UV lamp.The results show that the addition of nanotubes improves the photo-catalytic properties of TiO_2 by two factors;however,the DBT removal rate versus MWCNT content is found to follow a bimodal pattern.Two factors are observed to affect the removal rate of DBT and produce two optimum values for MWCNT content.First,large quantities of MWCNTs prevent light absorption by the solution and decrease removal efficiency.By contrast,a low dosage of MWCNT causes recombination of the electron holes,which also decreases the DBT removal rate.The optimum MWCNT contents in the composite are found to be 0.25 g and 0.75 g MWCNT per 80 m L of sol. 展开更多

The different investigation has been carried out on the biological activities of titanium dioxide nanoparticle but the effect of this nano product on the antibacterial activity of different antibiotics has not been yet demonstrated. In this study the nano size TiO2 is synthesized using citric acid and alpha dextrose and the enhancement effect of TiO2 nanoparticle on the antibacterial activity of different antibiotics was evaluated against Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). During the present study, different concentrations of nano-scale TiO2 were tested to find out the best concentration that can have the most effective antibacterial property against the MRSA culture. Disk diffusion method was used to determine the antibacterial activity of these antibiotics in the absence and presence of sub inhibitory concentration of TiO2 nano particle. A clinical isolate of MRSA, isolated from Intensive Care Unit (ICU) was used as test strain. In the presence of sub-inhibitory concentration of TiO2 nanoparticle (20 μg/disc) the antibacterial activities of all antibiotics have been increased against test strain with minimum 2 mm to maximum 10mm. The highest increase in inhibitory zone for MRSA was observed against pencillin G and amikacin (each 10 mm). Conversely, in case of nalidixic acid, TiO2 nanoparticle showed a Synergic effect on the antibacterial activity of this antibiotic against test strain. These results signify that the TiO2 nanoparticle potentate the antimicrobial action of beta lactums, cephalosporins, aminoglycosides, glycopeptides, macrolids and lincosamides, tetracycline a possible utilization of nano compound in combination effect against MRSA. 展开更多

A maximum biodiesel yield of 91.83% was achieved at the concentration of Ce^(3+) up to 0.1 mol/L, calcination temperature 500 °C, calcination time 3.0 h, and the concentration of phosphoric acid of 3.5 mol/L. Ce-nano PO_4^(3-)/ZrO_2 catalyst activities were correlated with the observed physico-chemical characteristics derived from scanning electron microscopy(SEM), FT-infrared(FT-IR), X-ray diffraction(XRD), thermogravimetric(TG) and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET) analysis. The delayed crystallization of ZrO_2 made surface oxides have more defects which were beneficial to the adsorption of PO_4^(3-) by the concentration increment of Ce^(3+). The chemical composition of synthesized biodiesel was confirmed by gas chromatography(GC). The characteristics of Xanthoceras Sorbiflia Bunge oil were found within the optimal range in accordance with Chinese No. 0 diesel standard as a substitute diesel fuel. 展开更多

Effects of Yb ^(3+)-Doping on Phase Transformation and Photocatalytic Activities of TiO_2 Nano-Powders

Yb 3+-doped TiO_2 composite nano-particles were prepared by the acid-catalyzed sol-gel method using Ti(OC_4H_9)_4 and Yb(NO_3)_3 as precursors. The effects of the amount of Yb 3+ doping and calcination temperature on the phase transformation, crystallite size, surface texture of the nanopowders were investigated by XRD and BET specific surface area. Their photocatalytic activities were evaluated using the photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue in aqueous solution as a probe reaction. At the interface, titanium ions substitute for ytterbium ions in the lattice of Yb_2O_3 to form Ti-O-Yb bonds, which cause distortion and inhibit the anatase to rutile phase transformation in TiO_2. The results indicate that Yb 3+-doping can enhance the photocatalytic activity of TiO_2 nano-powders as compared with pure TiO_2. 0.125%(mass fraction) Yb 3+ doped TiO_2 nano-powders calcined at 600 ℃ for 2 h show the highest photocatalytic activity. The increase in photoactivity is due to the effects of the factors such as crystal phase, crystallite size, surface chemical property, surface density of OH groups, and surface texture properties of the TiO_2 nano-powders. 展开更多

In order to study the effect mechanism of N-doping on the visible-light photoactivity of TiO2,N-doped and un-doped TiO2 nano-powders were prepared by an acid-catalyzed sol-gel method and characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),electron spin resonance(ESR),UV-Vis diffuse reflection spectra(DRS),and photoluminescence spectra(PL)techniques.Their photoactivities are evaluated by the photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue(MB)in aqueous solution under UV light and visible-light irradiation,respectively.The results reveal that the as-prepared N-doped sample with single anatase exhibits a good visible-light photoactivity,whereas its UV photoactivity decreases slightly,compared with the un-doped sample.The N-doping increases surface hydroxyl groups and forms abundant oxygen vacancies bounding single electrons.The visible-light response of the N-doped sample can be ascribed to a synergetic effect of impurity energy levels due to the substitutional N-doping and defect energy levels owing to the formation of oxygen vacancies.The separation of the photo-generated electron and hole can be promoted by the increase in both oxygen vacancies and surface hydroxyl groups,which are conducive for enhancement of photoactivity.The increase in visible-light photoactivity of the N-doped sample is related with the decrease in its PL spectral intensity in visible-light region. 展开更多

利用溶胶-凝胶技术,以尿素为氮源,采用原位掺杂方式制备了TiO2-yNx纳米粉体;以亚甲基蓝(MB)溶液在可见光下的光催化降解评价其可见光催化活性;考察了体系初始pH值、N的掺杂量和焙烧温度对样品可见光催化活性的影响。结合XRD、XPS、ESR和... 利用溶胶-凝胶技术,以尿素为氮源,采用原位掺杂方式制备了TiO2-yNx纳米粉体;以亚甲基蓝(MB)溶液在可见光下的光催化降解评价其可见光催化活性;考察了体系初始pH值、N的掺杂量和焙烧温度对样品可见光催化活性的影响。结合XRD、XPS、ESR和DRS测试技术,研究了N掺杂纳米TiO2的可见光响应机理。研究结果表明,TiO2-yNx纳米粉体的优化制备工艺条件为:体系初始pH=0.52,掺杂比n(N)∶n(Ti)=1∶6,焙烧温度为440℃。此条件下制备的样品N含量为0.77%,为单一的锐钛矿相,平均粒径为19.0nm,具有良好的可见光催化活性。N掺杂导致TiO2纳米粉体的表面羟基含量增加,形成了大量束缚单电子的氧空位;N取代晶格O形成了N—Ti—O和O—N—Ti键合结构。N掺杂导致TiO2纳米粒子的吸收带边红移,对可见光的吸收能力明显增强,这表明N掺杂改变TiO2电子结构,使带隙窄化,降低光响应阈值。N掺杂TiO2纳米粒子的可见光响应归因于N取代掺杂形成的掺杂能级与氧空位形成的缺陷能级共同作用所致。 展开更多
