Accordingly, it is a technology regarding opportunities providing the development during the formation of new products not applicable in advance and the formation of new processes. This technology that has the potential of affecting the world economy is at the development stage just now and it is thought that it will cause high changes in human life in the future 15-20 years. Nanotechnology provides an opportunity bringing new technological developments and applications appeared as impossible before as well as bringing a new perspective for available technological processes. In the context of the report in the light of mentioned information, brief information was given on the place and use of nanotechnology in fields such as systems of drug delivery, diagnosis of diseases, vaccine development, treatment of diseases, improvement of fertility functions of animals, determination of fertility capabilities of animals, store of gametes and embryos by freezing, animal breeding, farm medicine, meat and meat production, food safety, and neutralization of animals as use areas in veterinary medicine. Furthermore, in our country and the world, knowledge regarding the intended use of nano-technology based drugs used in veterinary medicine was presented in Table 1.展开更多

This article briefly reviews several up-to-date published studies using Arginine-Glycine-Aspartic acid peptide sequence, nanocomposite based on polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane nanoparticle and nanofibrous scaffolds as promising strategies to enhance peripheral nerve regeneration by influencing cellular behaviour such as attachment, spreading and proliferation. The aim is to establish the potent manipulations, which are simple and easy to employ in the clinical conditions for nerve regeneration and repair.展开更多

Treatment of diabetics often poses a problem in selection of the proper drug, its dose and unwanted side effects. Therefore, newer drugs with the least side effects but with highest efficiency are being relentlessly searched for. In recent years, nanotechnology has given new hope for the formulation of various drugs against a myriad of diseases, including diabetes. This review tries to give an overview of the advantages of various new drugs being used, including a wide range of nanoformulations of orthodox as well complementary and alternative medicines. Several studies and research reports based on nanotechnological approaches in the formulation of anti-diabetic drugs have pointed out the fact that research in the formulation of nanodrugs improved strategies for combating diabetes based on the plausible molecular mechanism of action of the drugs. Furthermore, attempts have also been made to delineate the optimum drug concentration and time of exposure in order to recommend a scientifically validated drug dose response in developing different therapeutic strategies. Thus, to a considerable extent, recent studies have contributed towards improving thelife expectancy and quality of life of diabetics, through both targeted orthodox medicine and complementary medicine, particularly those obtained from natural resources.展开更多

The scoping review was performed according to systemic style. The research articles included the selected studies dealing with primary information on nanotechnology and medicinal plants published between 2000 and 2023. The search was at grassroots platforms such as Web of Science and PubMed. Many studies correlated the properties of plants’ nanoparticles such as stability, surface area, and high reactivity, and their small size. It was found that nanoparticles (NPs) have size ranging from some nanometers to 100 nm and their morphology is controlled because of their tiny size, NPs have a big surface area, which makes them suitable for many applications. Green nanotechnology has the potential to become an industry with very high green credentials as it is increasingly commercialized. In general, nanoparticles derived from medicinal plants offer a promising avenue for various bio-applications. Their green synthesis, biocompatibility, and potential therapeutic properties make them an attractive area of research with the potential to impact fields ranging from medicine to agriculture.展开更多
