As part of its efforts to promote a sustainable and high-quality development,China has pledged to reduce water consumption and create a water-efficient society.On the basis of identifying the institutional root causes...As part of its efforts to promote a sustainable and high-quality development,China has pledged to reduce water consumption and create a water-efficient society.On the basis of identifying the institutional root causes of excessive capital allocation and excessive water consumption in China’s water-intensive industrial sectors,this study elaborates how the national water-efficient cities assessment contributes to optimized capital allocation.Our research shows that national water-efficient cities assessment has motivated local governments to compete for water efficiency.To conserve water,local governments regulated the entry and exit of water-intensive enterprises,discouraged excessive investments in water-intensive sectors,and phased out obsolete water-intensive capacities within their jurisdictions.This approach has resulted in mutually beneficial outcomes,including improved allocation of capital,enhanced water efficiency,and reduced emissions.This paper offers policy recommendations for establishing a water-efficient society throughout the 14^(th) Five-Year Plan(2021-2025)period by presenting empirical evidence on the policy effects of resource efficiency evaluation.展开更多
In recent years,more and more researches focus on the self characteristics and spatial location of housing,and explore the influencing factors of urban housing price from the micro perspective.As representative of big...In recent years,more and more researches focus on the self characteristics and spatial location of housing,and explore the influencing factors of urban housing price from the micro perspective.As representative of big cities,spatial distribution pattern of housing price in national central cities has attracted much attention.In order to return the spatial distribution pattern of housing price to the research on influencing factors of housing price,the reasons behind the spatial distribution pattern of housing price in three national central cities:Beijing,Wuhan and Chongqing are explored.The results show that①urban housing price is affected by many factors.Due to different social and economic conditions in each city,there are differences in the influence direction of the proximity to expressways,city squares,universities and living facilities,characteristics of companies and enterprises on Beijing,Wuhan and Chongqing.②Various factors have different value-added effects on housing price in different cities.The location of ring line in Beijing and Wuhan has the greatest increase effect on housing price,while metro station of Chongqing has the greatest increase effect on housing price.展开更多
Based on the perspective of heritage tourism,this paper selected Dali Ancient City,one of the first group of national historic and cultural cities,located in Yunnan Province,China,as case study to analyze the motivati...Based on the perspective of heritage tourism,this paper selected Dali Ancient City,one of the first group of national historic and cultural cities,located in Yunnan Province,China,as case study to analyze the motivation,satisfaction,and loyalty of tourists to national historic and cultural cities with concentrations of ethnic minorities.Through the questionnaire survey on the experience of tourists during their stay in Dali Ancient City,the study identified two motivations related to their visit:cultural motivation and multi-factor motivation,such as delicious food,enjoying holidays.By identifying and understanding the type,motivation,behavior,perception,and experience of tourists in national historic and cultural cities,it was hoped to provide reference for destination management and formulation of corresponding countermeasures.In addition,this study also discussed how tourist motivation analysis contributed to higher satisfaction and loyalty of tourists to a destination.展开更多
