The purposes of this research were: (1) to create a training package to prepare secondary school students in northeastern of Thailand toward ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Community; (2) to comp...The purposes of this research were: (1) to create a training package to prepare secondary school students in northeastern of Thailand toward ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Community; (2) to compare the knowledge of secondary school students toward ASEAN before and after use training package; and (3) the expectations of the students in the northeast of their own preparation for the ASEAN community. Experimental research was used in this research. The subject was including 2,000 students who were randomly divided into groups of seven provinces. The statistics used in data analysis were percentage, average, standard deviation, and T-test. The research results showed that: (1) a training package to prepare secondary school students in northeastern of Thailand toward ASEAN Community, the effectiveness index (E.I.) was .57, according to the established criteria; (2) a comparison of pretest and post-test results found the use of cognitive training may vary, statistically significant at the .05 level; (3) an expectation of the secondary school students in the preparation of role into ASEAN Community found that the students who participated in a concept reflect that the knowledge and attitudes to prepare themselves for the ASEAN community.展开更多

文摘In the span of thousands of years of history,especially during the confrontation with western powers in the past centuries,the Chinese nation has transformed itself from a"self-being"to a"self-conscious"national entity,forming a multi-level and multi-dimensional community structure.As"the marginal"in the"Chinese cultural circle",visible and intangible,overseas O Chinese communities have always maintained a dynamic relationship with the"core",and overseas Chinese have constantly expanded the scope of the Chinese national space through alternative channels of culture and society.By analyzing the progression of three phases,namely the period before the 1850s,1850s-1950s and the period after the 1950s,this paper examines the role of overseas Chinese in the multidimensional space expansion of the Chinese nation.We deem that overseas Chinese maintained varied degrees of spatial connection and participated in the construction of the national homeland in multiple scales such as ethnic identity,cultural identity,economic ties and social networks;The sense of ethnic community of overseas Chinese is embodied in the inclinations toward the ancestral country,multi-dimensional identification and the concept of righteousness,showing the characteristics of pluralism and consensus;Due to the variance of affecting factors,such as migration time and intergenerational relations,geographical distance and cyberspace accessibility,policies of the country of origin and transnational interaction,there are distinguishable traits between different groups of overseas Chinese and the"core"of the multidimensional space of the Chinese nation.Overseas Chinese not only expand out,but also bridge and tie up the multidimensional and three-dimensional space of the Chinese nation.

文摘A crucial issue in comprehending the commonality of"Community for the Chinese Nation"is finding an appropriate way to understand the relationship between the Han ethnic group and ethnic minorities.This article explores the formation,development,nature,and characteristics of the Han ethnic group,as well as its inherent connections with ethnic minorities in China from both historical and contemporary perspectives.It posits that the Han ethnic group and ethnic minorities in China are intertwined and interdependent,with elements of both groups mutually present in each other.There is no clear boundary between the two,and their relationship is close,both historically and in reality.The Han ethnic group is a unity resulting from the integration of diverse ethnicities,and its composition and tremendous inclusiveness make it the cohesive core of the Chinese nation.Han ethnic group and ethnic minorities,due to their difference in geographical environments,have different economic types;however,their differences in economic types and the resulting economic complementation between the two have become the very reason for the high dependence and close connection between Han and ethnic minorities,which also demonstrate the commonality of"community for the Chinese nation".The Chinese nation has gradually become an organic whole with commonality and diversity through the mutual absorption,integration,and interdependence between the Han ethnic group and ethnic minorities in the long historical process.Therefore,it is necessary to shift away from the mindset of separating or opposing the Han ethnic group and ethnic minorities.

文摘The ancestor worship myths of various ethnic groups in China constitute the common ancestor worship mythological system of the Chinese nation after long-term interactions,exchanges and integration.By conducting diachronic and synchronic comparative studies between ancestor worship myths of the people in the Central Plains and those of other ethnic groups in the Southwest and Northeast regions,and by applying a dual perspective to the common ancestor worship theme of these myths,we find that the common ancestor worship mythology shared by various ethnic groups in China is not only the historical expression of the sense of community for the Chinese nation,but also the natural result of long-term interactions,exchanges and integration between people of the Central Plains and ethnic groups in the Southwest and Northeast.The common ancestor worship mythology shared by different ethnic groups in China can provide strong spiritual cohesion in building a shared spiritual home for the Chinese people and in forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation.

文摘Kumbum Monastery,also known as Kumbum Jama Ling or Ta'er Temple,is a Tibetan Buddhism temple of Gelugpa Sect in Qinghai Province,China.It is the home of monks from different ethnic groups,a place of long-standing religious traditions,and multi-ethnic history and culture.Due to its unique geological position and multi-ethnic cultural environment,ever since its initial establishment,Kumbum Monastery has been consciously adapting itself to the social environment and political situation of the time,and promoting"patriotism and love of the religion"and"religious harmony",thus have fostered a custom of being inclusive to all as well as coexistence in harmony.By studying the historical experience of ethnic interaction and exchange of Kumbum Monastery and the spirit within,we can promote the adaption of Tibetan Buddhism to socialist society,promote the development of Tibetan Buddhism in the Chinese context,foster a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation,and carry forward Tibetan Buddhism's tradition of patriotism and love of the religion.Taking the perspective of ethnic religion study in the new era,this article will:1)explore and tease out Kumbum Monastery's historical experience on interactions,exchanges among different ethnic groups in the Hehuang area;2)summarize and analyze the core spirit Kumbum Monastery has formed alongside its development;3)summarize the experience of the development of Tibetan Buddhism in the Chinese context;4)and provide enhancing ethnic solidarity.Meanwhile,the monasteries can best demonstrate the degree of the development of Tibetan Buddhism in the Chinese context.Kumbum Monastery is one of the six great monasteries of the Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism.Its cultural spirit of keeping abreast of the times,being inclusive to all and co-existing in harmony and its social awareness of patriotism and love of the religion,safeguarding the country and benefiting the people and maintaining ethnic solidarity can be of great inspiration to the sound development of contemporary Tibetan Buddhist Monasteries as well as to the development of Tibetan Buddhism in the Chinese context.

文摘The community of the Chinese nation is a unified whole that consists of all ethnic groups in China;it is a cultural community that's formed alongside the long-term exchanges and interactions among all ethnic groups in China.When disastrous events occur,the cultural community of the Chinese nation will gradually take its shape and reveal its unique characteristics as it fights against disasters.Ancient myths are the carrier of a nation's national history and memory,cultural value,and spiritual character.Specifically,the Great Flood myths,which signify utter destruction and rebirth,demonstrate the ideological basis and spiritual origin of a cultural community.There are a large number of Great Flood myths around the world that have longstanding influence.However,Great Flood myths in China are distinctively different from foreign Great Flood myths:foreign flood myths mostly emphasize the authority of heavenly divinity,and humans can do nothing about the flood but evade and struggle to survive.In comparison,flood-taming heroes in Chinese myths always take positive perspectives and proactive actions to courageously fight against and tame the flood,which demonstrates the national spirit of solidarity and perseverance of Chinese people.Great Flood myths of different ethnic groups in China reflect the history of exchanges and interactions of the Chinese nation and show that all Chinese people are of the same origin.From the perspective of both national history and spiritual value,Great Flood myths in China vividly demonstrate that the Chinese nation is an objectively existing,widely acknowledged by Chinese people,and indestructible community bound together by a common culture.
文摘The musical dance art recorded in early Dunhuang Grottoes,though supposed to be created by ancient northern ethnic groups such as the Hun and Xianbei,gives expression to a strong thought of"Chinafication"and a sense of community for the Chinese nation.By analyzing the essence and content of the musical dance art in the Dunhuang Grottoes created during the Northern Liang(A.D.397-460),Northern Wei(A.D.386-534),Western Wei(A.D.535-556)and Northern Zhou(A.D.557-581)Dynasties,and by exploring the contribution of ancient ethnic groups such as the Hun and Xianbei in the formation and development of Chinese nation,this study reveals that the musical dance art in early Dunhuang Grottoes faithfully reflects the community pattern of the Chinese nation featured by"unity in diversity"developed since ancient times,and hopes that the future research and creation may expand their horizon by incorporating the musical dance art of early Dunhuang Grottoes into the system of contemporary Dunhuang dance.
