When two complementary firms with heterogeneous assets are both breached, it is assumed that they suffer different losses which are associated with their information assets. Some insights about optimal strategies for the firms and the attacker are obtained by the game theory, which forms a comparison with those derived from substitutable firms, and those derived from complementary firms with homogenous loss. In addition, both the unit transform cost of investment and the extent of firms'loss affect the optimal strategies.Assuming that firms can control information sharing, security investments and both of them, respectively, the effect of the social planner is further analyzed on the information sharing, firms' aggregate defence, the aggregate attack and social total cost. Finally, some policy advice is provided through numerical simulation. Results show that firms are willing to choose security investment centrally rather than individually, but an intervention in information sharing by the social planner may not necessarily be preferable.展开更多

In order to better mitigate risks and enhance the safety of investments, it is of significant importance to research the oil and gas investment environment in these countries for China's overseas investment macro-layout. This paper proposes an indicator system including 27 indicators from 6 dimensions. On this basis, game theory models combined with global entropy method and analytic hierarchy process are applied to determine the combined weights, and the TOPSIS-GRA model is utilized to assess the risks of oil and gas investment in 76 countries along the Initiative from 2014 to 2021. Finally, the GM(1,1) model is employed to predict risk values for 2022-2025. In conclusion, oil and gas resources and political factors have the greatest impact on investment environment risk, and 12 countries with greater investment potential are selected through cluster analysis in conjunction with the predicted results. The research findings may provide scientific decisionmaking recommendations for the Chinese government and oil enterprises to strengthen oil and gas investment cooperation with countries along the Belt and Road Initiative.展开更多

文摘This study examined the impact of current solution treatment on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the Co-28Cr-6Mo-0.22C alloy investment castings. The findings reveal that the current solution treatment significantly promotes the dissolution of carbides at a lower temperature. The optimal conditions for solution treatment are determined as a solution temperature of 1,125°C and a holding time of 5.0 min.Under these parameters, the size and volume fraction of precipitated phases in the investment castings are measured as6.2μm and 1.1vol.%.The yield strength, ultimate tensile strength, and total elongation of the Co-28Cr-6Mo-0.22C investment castings are 535 MPa,760 MPa,and 12.6%,respectively.These values exceed those obtained with the conventional solution treatment at 1,200°C for 4.0 h.The findings suggest a phase transformation of M_(23)C_(6)→σ+C following the current solution treatment at 1,125°C for 5.0 min.In comparison, the traditional solution treatment at 1,200°C for 4.0 h leads to the formation of M_(23)C_(6)and M_(6)C carbides. It is noteworthy that the non-thermal effect of the current during the solution treatment modifies the free energy of both the matrix and precipitation phase. This modification lowers the phase transition temperature of the M_(23)C_(6)→σ+C reaction, thereby facilitating the dissolution of carbides. As a result, the current solution treatment approach achieves carbide dissolution at a lower temperature and within a significantly shorter time when compared to the traditional solution treatment methods.

文摘This study analysed the socio-economic contributions of N-Power programme amongst the beneficiaries of the scheme in Benue State.Prior to the introduction of N-Power programme, successive administrations in Nigeria have made concerted efforts towards improving the standard of living of the citizenry through the execution of various welfare or social intervention programmes, but not much successes were recorded.Learning from the mistakes of the past regimes, and by way of deliberate state policy, the Buhari’s government initiated a multi-pronged social investment policy, one of which is the N-power programme that came onboard in 2016,which also doubles as the subject of this study. To achieve the goal of this study,a combination of desktop research and survey design was employed.Questionnaires were administered to 390 respondents through a combination of stratified and random sampling techniques. The results of the survey were matched with that of the secondary data obtained through online websites and other related sources. The result indicated that N-Power made positive contributions to the socio-economic life of the beneficiaries in Benue State:specifically, the scheme contributed in poverty eradication, employment generation, skills acquisitions and capacity building. However, some aspect of our findings revealed that the programme has a number of challenges such as:inadequate cash support, delay in monthly cash transfer to beneficiaries, distance participants had to move to their work stations, absence of posting in N-Teach scheme, and lack of adequate working tools amongst others. To salvage this problem the paper recommended the following solutions:expansion of the scheme to cover N-Teach and other aspects, increment in the monthly cash transfer to cushion the high rate of inflation, support for the participants/beneficiaries in transportation and logistics, enrolment of more youth into the various schemes, proper monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the schemes amongst others.
文摘Historically, geopolitical risk(GPR)has posed significant challenges to international economic, social, and political frameworks. This study investigated how internal GPR in the selected five Southeast Asian countries(Indonesia,South Korea,Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand)influences foreign direct investment(FDI)during 1996-2019.The stationarity of the data was assessed using the Augmented Dickey-Fuller(ADF)unit root test, which shows that the data became stationary after the first difference. The Kao,Pedroni, and Westerlund cointegration tests were employed to examine long-term cointegration among the selected variables(FDI,GPR index(GPRI),gross domestic product(GDP),inflation, interest rate, and trade openness(TOP)).The results indicated that these variables have a long-term cointegration.Consequently, regression analysis using the Pooled Ordinary Least Squares(OLS)regression, fixed effect, random effect,Arellano-Bond dynamic panel-data estimation, and system generalized moment method(GMM)revealed that GPRI and TOP negatively impacted FDI in the selected five Southeast Asian countries. At the same time,GDP,inflation, and interest rate positively influenced FDI in these countries.Because FDI is crucial to shaping a country’s macroeconomic structure, this study recommends that governments and central banks of the selected five Southeast Asian countries should implement policies and strategies to encourage foreign investments.
文摘In the Turkish Economy, there were radical changes in the structure of the economy with the policies of opening up to the outside world and transition to a free market economy in the 1980s,and the last step of this opening up and liberalization process was realized with the decision number 32 in 1989.We can say that with the liberalization of capital movements in the 1990s,economic growth and development were tried to be achieved through hot money inflows rather than direct foreign investments. This trend made the economy more open to crises, and for the first time,a crisis occurred in the form of the 1994 economic crisis, which was understood to be caused by hot money. The same economic structure experienced a financial and economic crisis caused by hot money again in November 2000 and February 2001.While the crisis was overcome with the stand-by agreement made with the IMF(International Monetary Fund)and the announced Transition to a Strong Economy program, the economy started to grow rapidly with the ease of using foreign resources, and political stability seems to have enabled this economic growth process to continue uninterruptedly except 2009.There was also a decrease in inflation rates. The same economic structure continued in the period between 2010 and 2020,and the financing need of economic growth was met by outsourcing. However, this process was different from the previous decade and there was no economic and financial crisis other than the sudden increase in exchange rates in 2018.We can say that the sudden exchange rate increase in 2018 was perceived as a harbinger of possible exchange rate shocks in the following years.

文摘Instead of existing methods,a recurrent neural network is conceived to deal with three stages of portfolio management.Mainly,a deterministic annealing neural network is proposed for the approach to portfolio problem, which is a kind of quadratic programming. Finally, through a real example,we verify that the neural network model proposed in this paper is a good tool to solve the portfolio problem.
