Design and implementation of user information sharing system using location-based services for social network services

Internet takes a role as a place for communication between people beyond a space simply for the acquisition of information.Recently,social network service(SNS)reflecting human’s basic desire for talking and communicating with others is focused on around the world.And location-based service(LBS)is a service that provides various life conveniences like improving productivity through location information,such as GPS and WiFi.This paper suggests an application combining LBS and SNS based on Android OS.By using smart phone which is personal mobile information equipment,it combines location information with user information and SNS so that the service can be developed.It also maximizes sharing and use of information via twit based on locations of friends.This proposed system is aims for users to show online identity more actively and more conveniently.

Using IQA to Extract Mental Models Concerning Quality Evaluation Factors for Social Networking Services on Smartphones

Although today’s users of mobile phones are afforded increasing control as the popularity and richness of information provided by smartphones increases, how these users make choices and evaluations cannot be explicitly expressed. This study uses an acute observation of designers of technology and aesthetics to conduct a mental-model analysis of smartphones with the purpose of explicitly identifying the differences in the schemas of users. This study also modifies the mental model to evaluate the practicability of the mental model. Hence, this study investigates groups of subjects, comparing freshmen and graduating students froma college of design, and adopts a schematized data collection and analysis approach, Interactive Qualitative Analysis (IQA), to ascertain the relationships between factors and establish a complete user mental model. The study results present 11 primary affinity factors: “Pricing,” “Advertisement,” “User Interface,” “Innovation Functions,” “System Maintenance,” “Privacy,” “Utility Functions,” “Personalization,” “Network Performance,” “Customer Service,” and “Multimedia Contents.” The primary driver in evaluating smartphones is found to be “Pricing” for graduating students and “Privacy” for freshmen. The two groups share the same final effect factor, “Multimedia Contents.” This study has successfully identified differences between the different mental models of the two groups, supporting the method that using IQA to perform a quality evaluation of social networking for smartphones is effective. Consequently, platform developers can understand user demand through a mental model and can design good platform functions to effectively improve users’ experience of smartphones.

ML-SLD:A message-level stateless design for cloud-native 5G core network

The Internet of Things(IoTs)has become an essential component of the 5th Generation(5G)network and beyond,accelerating the transition to digital society.The increasing signaling traffic generated by billions of IoT devices has placed significant strain on the 5G Core network(5GC)control plane.To address this issue,the 3rd Gener-ation Partnership Project(3GPP)first proposed a Service-Based Architecture(SBA),intending to create a flexible,scalable,and agile cloud-native 5GC.However,considering the coupling of protocol states and functions,there are still many challenges to fully utilize the benefits of the cloud computing and orchestrate the 5GC in a cloud-native manner.We propose a Message-Level StateLess Design(ML-SLD)to provide a cloud-native 5GC from an architectural standpoint in this paper.Firstly,we propose an innovative mechanism for servitization of the N2 interface to maintain the connection between Radio Access Network(RAN)and the 5GC,avoiding interruptions and dropouts of large-scale user data.Furthermore,we propose an On-demand Message Forwarding(OMF)al-gorithm to reduce the impact of cloud fluctuations on the performance of cloud-native 5GC.Finally,we create a prototype that is based on the OpenAirInterface(OAI)5G core network projects,with all Network Functions(NFs)packaged in dockers and deployed in a kubernetes-based cloud environment.Several experiments have been built with UERANSIM and Chaosblade simulation tools.The findings demonstrate the viability and efficiency of our proposed methods.

The Management of Mental Health, and Service Networks in Italy

Madness has attracted and frightened for centuries,and talking about this means discussing how this diversity was built and managed in different social contexts and historical periods.Not all societies have had,and still have,the same relationship with madness.It is only with the affirmation of the Modern State,and of Capitalism,that the idea of“normality”indispensable to be able to conceive diversity as something dangerously distant and different from the norm takes over.In our post-modern society,people with mental illness in Italy can resort to specialists and social-health services.But the heterogeneous answers given after the approval of law 180 appear to be increasingly diversified.In this research,much attention will be paid to how the social and health services,located in different areas of Italy(Messina,Rome,Trento)face the current growing risk of social,housing and economic isolation of these fragile subjects.The aim of the research is to explore the possibility of a new relationship between the social-health service and the local community.On the one hand,research investigates what the contribution of the services could be.On the other what the spaces of protagonism and participation of the community could be in inclusion process account.In order to better understand the differences between these two dimensions,a qualitative research approach was chosen through the conduct of in-depth interviews.In this way it was possible to investigate:(1)the partial representations characteristic of the single individual,family members,operators and stackholders in general;(2)the services around the topic dealt with is articulated.From the first results of the research it emerges that the territory can no longer be considered as an abstract entity,but becomes the social space within which the construction of a new community welfare can and must take place.

Enhanced Reliability in Network Function Virtualization by Hybrid Hexagon-Cost Efficient Algorithm

In this,communication world, the Network Function Virtualization concept is utilized for many businesses, small services to virtualize the network nodefunction and to build a block that may connect the chain, communication services.Mainly, Virtualized Network Function Forwarding Graph (VNF-FG) has beenused to define the connection between the VNF and to give the best end-to-endservices. In the existing method, VNF mapping and backup VNF were proposedbut there was no profit and reliability improvement of the backup and mapping ofthe primary VNF. As a consequence, this paper offers a Hybrid Hexagon-CostEfficient algorithm for determining the best VNF among multiple VNF and backing up the best VNF, lowering backup costs while increasing dependability. TheVNF is chosen based on the highest cost-aware important measure (CIM) rate,which is used to assess the relevance of the VNF forwarding graph.To achieveoptimal cost-efficiency, VNF with the maximum CIM is selected. After the selection process, updating is processed by three steps which include one backup VNFfrom one SFC, two backup VNF from one Service Function Chain (SFC),and twobackup VNF from different SFC. Finally, this proposed method is compared withCERA, MinCost, MaxRbyInr based on backup cost, number of used PN nodes,SFC request utility, and latency. The simulation result shows that the proposedmethod cuts down the backup cost and computation time by 57% and 45% compared with the CER scheme and improves the cost-efficiency. As a result, this proposed system achieves less backup cost, high reliability, and low timeconsumption which can improve the Virtualized Network Function operation.

Machine learning-based zero-touch network and service management:a survey

The exponential growth of mobile applications and services during the last years has challenged the existing network infrastructures.Consequently,the arrival of multiple management solutions to cope with this explosion along the end-to-end network chain has increased the complexity in the coordinated orchestration of different segments composing the whole infrastructure.The Zero-touch Network and Service Management(ZSM)concept has recently emerged to automatically orchestrate and manage network resources while assuring the Quality of Experience(QoE)demanded by users.Machine Learning(ML)is one of the key enabling technologies that many ZSM frameworks are adopting to bring intelligent decision making to the network management system.This paper presents a comprehensive survey of the state-of-the-art application of ML-based techniques to improve ZSM performance.To this end,the main related standardization activities and the aligned international projects and research efforts are deeply examined.From this dissection,the skyrocketing growth of the ZSM paradigm can be observed.Concretely,different standardization bodies have already designed reference architectures to set the foundations of novel automatic network management functions and resource orchestration.Aligned with these advances,diverse ML techniques are being currently exploited to build further ZSM developments in different aspects,including multi-tenancy management,traffic monitoring,and architecture coordination,among others.However,different challenges,such as the complexity,scalability,and security of ML mechanisms,are also identified,and future research guidelines are provided to accomplish a firm development of the ZSM ecosystem.

Service Customized Space-Air-Ground Integrated Network for Immersive Media: Architecture, Key Technologies, and Prospects

The space-air-ground integrated network(SAGIN) is regarded as the key approach to realize global coverage in future network and it reaches broad access for various services. Being the new paradigm of service, immersive media(IM) has attracted users’ attention for its virtualization, but it poses challenges to network performance, e.g. bandwidth, rate, latency. However, the SAGIN has limitations in supporting IM services, such as 4 K/8 K video, virtual reality, and interactive games. In this paper, a novel service customized SAGIN architecture for IM applications(SAG-IM) is proposed, which achieves content interactive and real-time communication among terminal users. State-of-the-art research is investigated in detail to facilitate the combination of SAGIN and service customized technology, which provides endto-end differentiated services for users. Besides, the functional components of SAG-IM contain the infrastructure layer, perception layer, intelligence layer, and application layer, reaching the capabilities of intelligent management of the network. Moreover, to provide IM content with ultra-high-definition and high frame rate for the optimal user experience, the promising key technologies on intelligent routing and delivery are discussed. The performance evaluation shows the superiority of SAG-IM in supporting IM service.Finally, the prospects in practical application are high-lighted.

A synthesizing control model of networked control systems to guarantee QoP and QoS

The whole performance of the networked control system （NCSs） depends on two interaction factors, namely the quality of control performance （QoP） and quality of network service （QoS）. So, to optimize the whole perfor-mance of NCSs, the problem of guaranteeing QoP and QoS plays an important role in the design of NCSs. However, up to now, little work has been done in this field. In this paper, a synthesizing control model of NCSs to guarantee QoP and QoS is proposed, and a feasible condition of optimizing whole performance of NCSs is also suggested. Finally, the simulation results show that the proposed model is effective.

SNS model for providing social network channels through queries

Users can obtain the information through a basic web searching and find the answer to the questions directly,but maybe the expected answer does not exist.Besides,we do not know the update of new information in time.The online social networking services spread quickly and store many user data,but these data are worth less and may be unreliable answer to users’ questions.Users can obtain the simple answer but can not expect more additional information in knowledge question-answering(QA)system.In this paper,we design the system with the advantages of knowledge QA system,web searching and characteristics of social networking service for providing social network channel based on the query and answer without users’ contact network.The user can obtain real-time answers by the user network interested in users’ querires through the network channel of this system,get the additional information effectively and share it with others in the social network channel in this system.

Next Generation Network Service Provision Mode and Its Developing Trend

The provision mode of the telecommunication service has experienced an evolving process, and showing the developing trend from distributed to centralized, from integrated to separated, and from closed to open. To suit this trend, there will be three provision modes as Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) server, Open Service Access (OSA) application server and intelligent network(IN) in Next Generation Network (NGN), provides all kinds of services and applications to the subscribers. With the popularity of broadband access and Internet, the NGN will provide single telecommunication service and act as the important national infrastructure to offer various information services to the subscribers. The service provision mode will be more open, diversified, and individualized.

Network Convergence and Service Convergence

Convergence is the main trend for future network development. The multi-service bearer network,built upon the Internet Protocol/Multi-protocol Label Switching (IP/MPLS) technology,is a converged network with Quality of Service (QoS) guarantee for business and enterprise customers. The integrated and unified service provisioning platform (including both service execution and development enviroments) can provide integrated audio,video and data services over multiple access networks. However,achieving network convergence and service convergence are long-term goals,which can only be realized step by step after comprehensive consideration of many factors like market demands,technologies,services and costs.

Virtualizing Network and Service Functions: Impact on ICT Transformation and Standardization

Virtualization of network/service functions means time sharing network/service（and affiliated）resources in a hyper speed manner.The concept of time sharing was popularized in the 1970s with mainframe computing.The same concept has recently resurfaced under the guise of cloud computing and virtualized computing.Although cloud computing was originally used in IT for server virtualization,the ICT industry is taking a new look at virtualization.This paradigm shift is shaking up the computing,storage,networking,and ser vice industries.The hope is that virtualizing and automating configuration and service management/orchestration will save both capes and opex for network transformation.A complimentary trend is the separation（over an open interface）of control and transmission.This is commonly referred to as software defined networking（SDN）.This paper reviews trends in network/service functions,efforts to standardize these functions,and required management and orchestration.

Service Convergence in Next Generation Network

The convergence of communication services becomes a focus in the industry along with the requirement for full-service operation and technical development. Service convergence includes two aspects: The convergence of the fixed and mobile networks; and the convergence of traditional communications and Internet services. This requires balancing the conflicts between the openness and operationability of terminal capability and network convergence. Unified authentication and authorization are the basis for service convergence in terms of operationability. Modular network and open terminal are technical solutions for the service convergence.

IMS and Converged Service Network

The current telecom target network architecture with IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) as the core lacks the actual verification of existing large-scale networks and faces the stiff competition from Internet technologies. In the process of promoting the commercial usage of IMS services, the Service Delivery Platform (SDP) is evolving into a more convergent and open Service Delivery Environment (SDE) and will become the mainstream of the next generation Telecom Service Network. ZTE’s concept of the Converged Service Network (CSN) is to integrate various network service capabilities to realize the unification of data, service, capability and management and thus the fast provisioning of various Value-Added Services (VASs), which helps the carriers to maintain a leading position in the value chain, meeting the telecom carriers ’ requirements for service network development.

Quality of Service in Next Generation Networks

To guarantee the Quality of Service (QoS) is one of the key objectives of the next generation network.Based on the introduction of the Next Generation Network(NGN) and the definition of QoS,various aspects of QoS are analyzed in this article,with emphasis on different approaches and business models.It is noted that QoS concerns the parametric network performance parameters and the application “satisfaction” level.

User satisfaction-based quality evaluation model and survey analysis of network information service

On the basis of user satisfaction,authors made research hypotheses by learning from relevant e-service quality evaluation models.A questionnaire survey was then conducted on some content-based websites in terms of their convenience,information quality,personalization and site aesthetics,which may affect the overall satisfaction of users.Statistical analysis was also made to build a user satisfaction-based quality evaluation system of network information service.

Optimization Strategy of Road Traffic System in Urban Renewal Area

At present,problems such as insufficient road infrastructure and supporting facilities,and limited parking spaces are increasingly prevalent,and there are large conflicts of interest in the process of urban renewal.Therefore,it is crucial to improve the quality of the road network.This paper presents an analysis on the current situation of the road traffic system in a completed area outside the Third Ring Road in Xindu District,Chengdu,and provides corresponding road traffic optimization strategies,with aims of solving the existing road traffic problems,improve road service levels,and promote the overall development of the area and improve the quality of urban space.
