A quantitative description is obtained, assuming a mixing of a scalar bound state of 3(f f¯)fstructure with its corresponding vector (f f¯)fstate (f indicating massless elementary fermions). Only a few parameters are needed, mainly fixed by energy and momentum conservation. The nucleon stability is explained by an extra binding in the confinement potential, negative for electric and positive for magnetic binding of the proton, and opposite for the neutron. The stronger electric extra binding of the proton allows a decay of the neutron to proton and electron.展开更多

For components operating at high temperatures, temperature measurement is very important. In many situations, the environmental conditions are too hostile for conventional techniques to be used. Researchers over the world have been looking for new techniques for temperature measurement and one such device, called Feroplug, has been developed previously by the and coworkers. The Feroplug has been patented in USA, UK and Europe by the British Technology Group. The underlying principle of the Feroplug is based on the transformation of ferrite in some specially designed duplex stainless steels. The nonlinear optical (NLO) and optical limiting (OL) properties of three new structures of organic NLO guest host Poly(N-vinylcarbozole)/disperse orange 3 (PVK/DO3), PVK/disperse orange 13 (PVK/DO13). and P...The nonlinear optical (NLO) and optical limiting (OL) properties of three new structures of organic NLO guest host Poly(N-vinylcarbozole)/disperse orange 3 (PVK/DO3), PVK/disperse orange 13 (PVK/DO13). and PVK/disperse orange 25 (PVK/DO25) as a solution at different concentrations and as a thin-film sample are studied using continuous wave z-scan system at 532 nm. The open-aperture z-scan data of the NLO materials in the solution and thin-film samples displayed two-photon and saturable absorptions, respectively. The PVK/DO13 exhibites the largest and best values of the nonlinearities, such as n2, β, X(3) compared with those of PVK/DO3 and PVK/DO25. This nonlinearity increases as the concentration increases. Tile results indicate that these NLO materials are good candidates for optical switching and OL devices.展开更多

Biotechnology and the rights on biotechnological products are present-day topics, but at the same time, topics with deep historical roots. Biotechnological achievements are not a novelty to Bulgaria. They have existed...Biotechnology and the rights on biotechnological products are present-day topics, but at the same time, topics with deep historical roots. Biotechnological achievements are not a novelty to Bulgaria. They have existed for thousands of years and are connected with the production of milk and milk products, rose oil, herbal raw materials, and etc.. Contemporary biotechnological achievements are marketed in the form of nutritional, medicinal, and chemical products or as environmental protection. Traditional knowledge and achievements of modern science put the legal protection of biotechnology and its products on the agenda. In the national context, such rights have been statutory regulated and studied by specialists in the field of intellectual property. The problematic issues have not been so adequately treated in the country in terms of accounting theory and practice. The rights on biotechnology and biotechnological products are not within the scope of accounting items and accounting assets respectively. This is the motivation for the author to study the rights on biotechnology products within the context of their recognition as intangible assets. The author tries to present the conceptual framework for their identification and recognition as accounting items, as well as to define some scientific application problems on the topic.展开更多
