A New Study on the Superplasticity of TiAl Alloys

The superplasticity of Ti-46.7Al-2.2Cr(at.%)alloy was studied by mathematical induction.It is found that Zener Hollomon relative formula and there are serious deflections.According to the true superplastic stress and true strain curves,the deflection values of n=-7.46 and B=1439MPa are obtained,indicating that the limit of n>0 has been exceeded,which needs to be characterized by a negative sign.This shows that it conforms to the principle that the smaller n is,the better superplasticity is,but the problem that it has become a negative number needs to attract the attention of peers meantime B is a better match.

Estimation Study of New Cancer Cases and Deaths in Wuwei, Hexi Corridor Region, China, 2018

Population-based cancer registration data were collected to estimate the cancer incidence and mortality in Wuwei, Hexi Corridor Region, China in 2018. We used the 2011-2013 data to predict the number of new cases and deaths in 2018 and the 2003-2013 data to analyze trends in cancer incidence and mortality. The goal is to enable cancer prevention and control directions. Our results indicated that stomach cancer is the most common cancer. For all cancers combined, the incidence and mortality rates showed significantly increasing trends（＋2.63% per year; P 〈 0.05 and ＋1.9% per year; P 〈 0.05）. This study revealed a significant cancer burden among the population of this area. Cancer screening and prevention should be performed after an epidemiological study of the cause of the cancer is completed.

Study on a New Ultraviolet Sterilizer to the Surface Disinfection of the Ultrasound Probe

We studied the disinfection effect of a new ultraviolet （UV） sterilizer and its utilization on ultrasound probe surfaces. Carrier quantitative germicidal tests, simulated on-the-spot trials, and organic substance influence tests were used to carry out experimental observation. Artificially infected probes were disinfected using the sterilizer or a germicidal lamp for comparison. The total number and types of bacteria were determined and identified. Our results demonstrated the sterilizer had the best disinfection effect among three different disinfection methods in hospital. The sterilizer has been used in a hospital setting for 2 years with no notable damage to the ultrasound probe instrument. It has the advantages of fast disinfection, high disinfection effect, and good compatibility with the ultrasound instrument, worthy of being a promoted application in medical institutions.

Fe^(3+)-Doped Anatase TiO_2 Study Prepared by New Sol-Gel Precursors

FeTi_1-O_2（= 0.00,0.05,0.10） nanocomposites are synthesized using a sol-gel method involving an ethanol solvent in the presence of ethylene glycol as the stabilizer,and acetic acid as the chemical reagent.Their structural and optical analyses are studied to reveal their physicochemical properties.Using the x-ray diffractometer（XRD）analysis,the size of the nanoparticles（NPs） is found to be 18-32 nm,where the size of the NPs decreases down to 18 nm when Fe impurity of up to 10% is added,whereas their structure remains unchanged.The results also indicate that the structure of the NPs is tetragonal in the anatase phase.The Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy analysis suggests the presence of a vibration bond（Ti-O） in the sample.The photoluminescence analysis indicates that the diffusion of Fe^（3＋） ions into the TiO_2 matrix results in a decreasing electron-hole recombination,and increases the photocatalytic properties,where the best efficiency appears at an impurity of10%.The UV-diffuse reflection spectroscopy analysis indicates that with the elevation of iron impurity,the band gap value decreases from 3.47 eV for the pure sample to 2.95 eV for the 10 mol% Fe-doped TiO_2 NPs.

STUDY ON THE SYNTHESIS OF A NEW TYPE OF PHOSPHORUS HETEROCYCLIC COMPOUNDS-PYRAZOLO[3,4-d]-1,3,2-DIAZAPHOSPHORIN-6-ONE

1-substituted-5-benzoylamino-4-pyrazolecarboxamides(2)were prepared by the reaction of 1-substituted pyrazolo[3,4-d]-oxazinone(1) with amines in benzene.The compound 2 was refluxed with excess LiAlH_4 in a mixture of THF and ether,one of the two carbamoyl groups in the molecule 2 was reduced selectively.As the results,1-substituted-5- benzylamino-4-pyrazolecarboxamides(3)were obtained.Compounds 3 reacted with Cl_2PPh-X,or P(NET_2)_3,producing the title compounds(4). The conditions of the reactions were studied.

STUDY ON THE CHEMICAL CONSTITUENTS OF BIDENS BIPINNATA A NEW POLYACETYLENE GLYCOSIDE

A new naturally occurring compound 1-polyacetylene glycoside has been isolated form the n- butanol soluble fraction of the leaves of Bidens bipinnata. The chemical structure of 1 was shown to be 3E, 11E—Diethenylene 5. 7. 9—triacetylene, 1, 13—tridecanglycol-2-O-β-D-glycoside named bipinnatpolyacetyloside according to spectral analyses of UV. IR. FDMS, ~1H-NMR, ~H-~H COSY, ^(13)C-NMR and DEPT.

New models to study vulvodynia: hyperinnervation and nociceptor sensitization in the female genital tract

Vulvodynia is a prevalent form of chronic pain, most com- monly affecting the vaginal vestibule （vestibulodynia） （Pukall et al., 2016）. Women with vulvodynia describe intense pain in response to light touch of the affected region, such that sexual function and other activities can be severely limited. Medical costs associated with vulvodynia are high, exceeding $21 billion annually in the United States （Xie et al., 2012）. The high level of direct medical costs has been linked to high treatment failure rates. Many women with the disorder consult multiple practitioners and undergo multiple courses of treatment with limited benefit.

New Approach to Study the Evolution of Rossby Wave Packet

The average variational principle was employed in this paper to study the evolution of large-scale and slowly varying Rossby wave packet with basic flow both in barotropic and baroclinic atmospheres. The evolution of the structure of Rossby wave packet with both time and space was studied. The results obtained in this paper are similar to the results of by WKBJ method. In addition, the dispersive process of the wave packet was analysed by taking Gaussian type wave packet as an initial disturbance. The valid time scale for application of wave packet theory in the atmosphere was obtained.

SPECTRAL STUDY ON A NEW 3d_z^2 TYPE COPPER(Ⅱ)COMPLEX OF PHENOLIC POLYMERIC CROWN ETHER

ESR and IR measurements have been carried out for a copper(Ⅱ)complex of phenolic polymeric crown ether,As a result,the triplet ESR spectrum(S=1)of 3d_z2 ground state copper(Ⅱ)ions was first observed for the powder sample.It indicated that there existed intramolecular spin-spin interaction betweeen 3d_Z2 ground state copper(Ⅱ)and copper(Ⅱ)ions.In this binuclear triplet cluster,the axial ligntion of one water molecule in a sandwich position to two adjacent copper(Ⅱ) ions was also confirmed by IR spectra,All things considered,a possible structure for the complex was proposed.

Study on a New Type of All-Solid-StateReference Electrode

A new type of all-solid-state Ag/AgCl reference electrode was constructed by using urea-formaldehyde resin as the frame material and KCl powder as the active component. The properties of the electrode were studied in detail. The electrode exhibited excellent characteristics and could be applied to the electrochemical measurements in syrupy, colloidal and higher temperature solutions as a reference electrode.

STUDY OF CALCIUM ION-SELECTIVE ELECTRODE BASED ON A NEW NEUTRAL CARRIER

A calcium ion-setective eletrode based on a new neutral carrier was studied.The electrode gives a Nernstian response in the rang 5.9-1 Pa and the response is stable in a wide pH range.Logarithms of setectivity coefficents are -2.3 Li(+),-3.5 Na(+),-4.0 K(+),-3.7NH_4(+),-4.5 Mg(2+) and -4.4Zn(2+).

A Study of Making Iron Aluminide Alloy Powders with New Rotating Electrode Technology

A new process was used for producing FeAl alloy pow de rs with double consumable rotating electrodes and the powders made in this appar atus were analyzed. In this new technology, tungsten rod serves as a cathode ele ctrode, while the alloy rod as an anode electrode. The conventional rotating ele ctrode process must have an anode with pre-melting alloys; however, in this new process, using pure iron as cathode electrode and pure aluminum as anode electr ode can eliminate the step of pre-melting. The effects of process variables, which include electrode rotational speed, a nd electrode diameter of the mean particle diameter were determined. Results showed that both the rotational speed and diameter of electrodes would a ffect the mean diameter of particles. There are three kinds of powders with diff erent composition produced in this study and the possible mechanisms are discuss ed. The process parameters and volume mean diameter of the powders have been cor related to find an experimental equation. The results show that when the rotational speed and the diameter of the anode el ectrode are increased, the powders size will decrease. However, the powders size will increase with cathode electrode.

THE ADVANCES IN SYNTHESIS AND STUDY OF NEW NUCLIDES IN CHINA

This paper introduces the importance of synthesis and study of new nuclides far from the stability line. Following the example of new nuclides 208Hg, 185Hf and 237Th, which were synthesized for the first time by the scientists in the Institute of Modern Physics, the progress of physics and technology in this aspect in our country are summarized. This paper also outlines a proposal about farther development of the synthesis and study of new nuclides and the construction of relevant key facilities in our country at the beginning of the next century.

Study on a new grain-cash cropping pattern in paddy field

We studied a new grain-cash cropping pattern composed of "barley/watermelon + waize-rice", comparing with "barley / watermelon-rice" (CKI), "watermelon-rice", (CK2). The experiment was conducted in CNRRI’s field for 3 yr, employing completely randomized design with three replications, and each plot occupied 207 m~2. The soil in the experiment field contained: N, 2.48 g. kg, quick effective P 4 mg. kg, and quick effective K 53 mg·kg. The varieties tested were Zhemai 2 (barley), Zhemi 1 (watermelon), Suyu 1 (maize), and Shanyou 63 (hybrid rice).

STUDIES ON NEW ALKALOIDS OF STEMONA JAPONICA

Four new alkaloids, didehydroprotostemonine, isoprotostemonine, neostemonine and stemodiol, were isolated from the roots of a Chinese medicinal plant, Stemona japonica, collected form Zhejiang Province, southern China. Their structures were elucidated by extensive spectral analyses.

STUDIES ON TWO NEW FUROSTANOL GLYCOSIDES FROM ALLIUM MACROSTEMON BUNGE

Two new furostanol saponins,named macrostemonoside E(1)and F(2),were isolated from the bulbs of Allium macrostemon Bunge (Liliaceae),their structures were established oy spectroscopic analysis and chemical evidences.Both possessed strong inhibitory activity on human platelet aggregation.
