In this paper, the author first discusses the connotation of the teaching method as integration of theory and practice and illustrates the background and significance of employing this teaching method in the curriculum reform of hotel management in higher vocational colleges. After that, the teaching content, methods as well as evaluation system are elaborated for implementing the integration of theory and practice teaching, and finally, some countermeasures are put forward for improving this teaching method.展开更多

The cultivation of engineering talents in Computer Engineering under the new engineering is an important part of the construction and exploration of new engineering in universities. According to the teaching reform of computer specialty in the new engineering construction, starting from the practice of curriculum system of software, mainly discusses the basic ideas of practice teaching reform of the course of computer software, software engineering practice curriculum system and practice curriculum system implementation method. The basic ideas of teaching reform practice in the course of the software include: expanding computer professional students' knowledge, strengthening students' computer science and software engineering knowledge and engineering practice ability, strengthening the frontiers of computer science and technology guide. Software practice course system is divided into three levels, including basic language course, engineering basic professional practice course and the professional practice course of engineering application direction. The implementation method of engineering application practice curriculum system is discussed in detail, such as strengthening university-enterprise cooperation, introducing teachers of social training institutions and guiding students to participate in subject competition and innovation projects.展开更多

This paper takes new consumption phenomena in the digital media-dominated ...Most of the existing literature on the emergence of new consumption and its essence is based on the discussion of micro consumption phenomena. This paper takes new consumption phenomena in the digital media-dominated polymedia environment as the object of study to review the theoretical history of “mediatization,” and explores new consumption’s emergence, essence, and related issues systematically through deductive reasoning. More specifically, this paper is to first interpret the mediatization theory and then analyze two dimensions(i.e., the formation of mediatized consumption and the resultant reinvention of practice rules) from the perspective of media affordances. On this basis, we conclude mediatized consumption’s essence, forms, and practice rules. This study indicates that new consumption is essentially mediatized consumption, which concerns “media-shaped consumption” and “consumption-shaped media,” and that new consumption has two representations;consumption-oriented media and banal consumption. Media affordances make new consumption fields human-oriented, connecting “people” and “things,” and are becoming a major contributor to the formation of mediatized consumption. Thus, the practice rules concerning “people, goods, and fields” in the new consumption sector are reinvented;the social interactions in the “middle region” are highlighted;the imaginative, narrative, and social characteristics of goods are emphasized;and the cross-field integration of consumption is realized.展开更多
Since the application of the new curriculum,the English teaching material of the national junior high school is no longer unified.Thus,there come numerous junior high school English tesching materials,such as Renjiao,...Since the application of the new curriculum,the English teaching material of the national junior high school is no longer unified.Thus,there come numerous junior high school English tesching materials,such as Renjiao,Beijing Normal University,Oxford,Cambridge,New Concept,Ren’ai and so on and so forth.These abundant teaching materials offer the majority of teachers and students a broad choice space and are different from the traditional teaching material.Among these materials,Ren’ai version is introduced to Zhangzhou City,Fujian Province.Compared with the traditional teaching materials,Ren’ai version has a new form both in language and content,which put forward to higher request on teachers and students.As is published recently,there is not much related research.This article,on one hand,makes a brief analysis on the characteristics of the material.On the other hand,it gives some suggestions on how to handle the material with the help of Constructivism,the Task-based Teaching theory and Cognitive Psychology,hoping to improve the efficiency of classroom teaching and the students’English comprehensive ability.展开更多
