Construction of Urban Space in Shengming Kangyuan Area of Liyang Based on Fengshui Theory

Under the background of stereotyped urban planning and construction and the pursuit of high land value,it is particularly important to explore the application of urban environmental characteristics in urban design and highlight the integration of local characteristics and people’s life.In this paper,based on the origin of Fengshui theory and the planning points of an ideal Fengshui pattern,the planning and design of Shengming Kangyuan Area in Liyang were studied to explore the positive influence of Fengshui theory in the construction of urban space,and some planning suggestions were put forward to improve the urban environment and achieve harmony and unity between man and the natural environment.

Practical Strategies for Urban Rail Transit Loop Planning, Construction, and Operation

Urban rail transit loops are essential in urban rail transit systems and transportation networks.However,precise requirements and reference standards for rail transit loop design have yet to be established.There are certain areas for improvement in planning,construction,and operation.In the planning and design of urban rail transit loops,the scale of the city and the relationship between line operations should be considered to ensure that the line conforms to the city’s operating traffic conditions and can effectively cater to peak passenger flow requirements.This article presents strategies for planning,constructing,and operating urban rail transit loops,laying the foundation for the healthy operation of urban rail transit.

Spatiotemporal Characteristics of Rural Labor Migration in China: Evidence from the Migration Stability under New-type Urbanization

Although the factors affecting rural-to-urban migration have been discussed and analyzed in detail, few studies have examined the spatiotemporal dynamic characteristics of rural migrants’ employment and working-cities in the post-immigrate era, which is essential for the citizenization and social integration of new-type urbanization in China. This study uses survey data from rural migration laborers across the eastern, central, and western China to construct a comprehensive labor migration stability index, and compares the determinants of the migration stability of rural labor among cities and industries using Geodetector. The results are as follows: 1) Compared with the midwestern cities, eastern cities have attracted younger and more skilled rural labor, and industries with higher technical content have higher migration stability among rural laborers. 2) Rural laborers more often adapt to changes by changing employment instead of changing working-cities. 3) The individual experiences of rural laborers and urban characteristics have significant impacts on the stability of migration, and family and societal guanxi(Chinese interpersonal relationships) enhance migration stability. 4) A unified labor market and convenient transportation have somewhat slowed industrial transfers and labor backflow. This study enhances our understanding of the roles of industrial transfer and new-type urbanization in shaping the labor geography landscape and provides policy implications for the promotion of people-oriented urbanization.

Dynamic changes and driving factors of land use under new-type urbanization: A case of Guiyang

With the continuous progress of new-type urbanization in Karst mountain area, how to correctly deal with the relationship between urban economy and land use are attracting much attention. Based on the land-use change data, this paper analyzes the characteristics of land use change and its driving factors in Guiyang with the method of land-use dynamic analysis, land utilization and factor correlation analysis. We get the following results:(1) the change of land use was obvious during 2004 and 2012. The area of arable land and other land were decreased, the rate of decrease are 3.89% and 8.24%. In the meantime, a series of construction land and forest area increased a lot, the rate of increase are 3.89% and 8.24%.(2) The integrated land use dynamic degree of two research stages(2004-2009 and 2009-2012) were decreased from 2.12% to 0.34%, this suggests dynamic changes of land tend to be stable.(3) Four kinds of Land use class have a great contribution to the index of land use degree respectively. The composite index of land use degree rose from 229.58 to 247.19 during 2004 and 2012; the land use is still in the development stage.(4) Economy, population, transportation and policy guidance are the main drivers of land use change.

Exploration of Priority Strategies for Harmonious Development between Urbanization and the Construction of New Countryside in China Based on the Theory of Unbalanced Growth

Based on the theory of unbalanced growth,we analyze priority strategy of different regions in China.It is prior to enhance the quality of urbanization in the East,make a long-term planning for construction of small towns,focus on harmony between human and nature,so as to realize its development to integrate with international urbanization level.For the middle areas,urbanization and construction of new countryside should be developed simultaneously,take a road of interactive development of urban and rural areas,finally to raise the level of urbanization.As to the western areas,it is required to firstly build new countryside,focus on construction of infrastructural facilities,adjust and optimize structure of agricultural production,and push forward the agricultural industrialization.

Environmental Impact Assessment and Eco-civilization Construction of Urbanization in China

As major policy put forward by the new leadership of China, urbanization will play an irreplaceable role in improving people＇s living standards and guaranteeing sustainable growth of economy. But in the process of urbanization, there are many problems, such as environmental damage and ecological imbalance. Therefore, organic combination of eco-civilization construction and urbanization will be the key solving the problem. As one of preconditions of planning and project, environmental impact assessment will also play pivotal role in eco-civilization construction of urbani- zation in China. We detailedly introduce environmental impact assessment, and put forward how to effectively use environmental impact assessment for the eco-civilization construction of urbanization in China.

An Analysis of the Degree of Coupling and Coordination of Agricultural Modernization and New-Type Urbanization in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle

Based on the panel data(2005-2019)of cities(prefectures)in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle,we have developed an evaluation system for agricultural modernization and new-type urbanization that measures the development level of each city and applies the coupling and coordination model to calculate their coupling and combination levels.The results indicate that the level of comprehensive order parameters of agricultural modernization in various cities(prefectures)in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle generally displays an upward trend.The areas with high-degree agricultural modernization were mainly distributed in Chengdu from 2005 to 2010,and the center of agricultural modernization was shifted to western areas after 2010,with a stable upward trend in the level of comprehensive order parameters of new-type urbanization.In terms of coupling degree,there was an overall upward trend.Except for Nanchong and Dazhou,other cities(prefectures)progressed from“Undeveloped Coordination”to“Intermediate Coordination.”The imbalanced development of agricultural modernization and new-type urbanization continually improved,with the combination level increasing from“Low-Low”to“Medium-Medium.”

Analysis on the Referential Role of Western Urbanization Theory in the Process of Urban and Rural Construction in China

Western urbanization theory has crucial influence on the course of China' s urban and rural construction.Social economy and the scientific distribution of population are the key of the layout of urban and rural construction and an important factor in facilitating the innovative development of urban and rural construction.The continuous improvement of the environment of social resources as well as the quality of life is the focus of China' s urban and rural construction.As western urbanization theory just probes into this specific issue,it offers referential value in urging us to take the path of sustainable development in urban and rural construction.

The Evolution of Urban and Rural Construction Land Based on Spatial Econometrics:A Case Study of Bijie City

Based on the theory of spatial econometrics,we test and process the urban and rural construction land data during the base period of planning and late period of planning in Bijie City.And we conduct comparative analysis of the spatial pattern and evolution characteristics of urban and rural construction land in 41 towns of Bijie City before and after the planning.According to Getis-ord G i coefficient test results,the cold spot area of urban and rural construction land in northeast of Bijie City will gradually disappear,and the key point of hot spot area will be gradually transferred from the central region to the central and eastern regions.The results show that under the guidance of the overall land use planning in Bijie City,the urban and rural construction land will show strong spatial autocorrelation;agglomeration benefits and scale merit will appear clearly,in line with the actual situation of current development of Bijie City.

Study on Urban Forest Construction Concepts and Layouts in Taizhou City

Taizhou is an economically-developed port city on the golden coastline of China, characterized by typical coastal and combined green cores, mountains and waters, and special plants. This paper analyzed natural conditions and city features of Taizhou, assessed current construction of local urban forests, and proposed pertinent construction concepts in view of diversifi ed needs of urban development on forest construction. On the basis of the city development, principles of urban forest layout were put forward, and the overall structure of "one core, one belt, two rings, three corridors, four groups, fi ve windows, and multiple bases" was given for the construction of urban forest in coastal landscape cities, in addition, the effect and feasibility of the layout were analyzed.

How does the construction of China’s ecological civilization affect the health burden of urban and rural residents?

Accelerating the construction of ecological civilization and promoting the management of health environment problems is one of the core elements of the implementation of the“Beautiful China”and“Healthy China”strategies with Chinese characteristics in the new era.Based on the scientific connotation of ecological civilization,this paper systematically assesses the level of interprovincial ecological civilization construction in China using the combined CRITIC empowerment method and explores the impact of ecological civilization construction on the health burden of urban and rural residents using interprovincial panel data from 2003 to 2018 with the help of panel feasible generalized least squares,simultaneous equation estimation,and the extended regression model.It is found that there is a significant inverted U-shaped relationship between provincial ecological civilization construction and urban and rural residents’economic health burden,as well as a significant U-shaped relationship between ecological civilization construction and urban and rural residents’disease burden.Fiscal decentralization,urbanization,and industrialization are the three important indirect mechanisms through which ecological civilization affects the health burden of urban and rural residents,and fiscal decentralization plays a typical role in crowding out the health effect of ecological civilization.In the eastern and central regions,ecological civilization construction has effectively reduced the health burden of urban and rural residents,but it is more significant for improving the economic health burden of rural residents.While the“catching-up trend”of the progress of ecological civilization construction in the western region is obvious,ecological civilization plays an important role in alleviating the economic health burden of urban residents.After the robustness test,the conclusion still holds.This study provides an important empirical basis for local governments to improve the accuracy of their policies in promoting the“Beautiful China”and“Healthy China”strategies.

Urban Construction Land Suitability Evaluation Based on Improved Multi-criteria Evaluation Based on GIS(MCE-GIS): Case of New Hefei City,China

Urban construction land suitability evaluation(UCLSE)is a complex system engineering and the basis for rational use of the limited urban land resources in China.It has an important practical value on urban construction land use planning and management from the angle of methodology.As a widely used technique,traditional multi-criteria evaluation based on GIS(MCE-GIS),is not suitable for UCLSE.This study develops an improved MCE-GIS method which could be more suitable for UCLSE based on urban complex ecological system theory and the summary of the shortcomings of traditional MCE-GIS.The improvements include three aspects:a composite evaluation index system rather than natural indexes alone,an index weight calculated by using fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)method rather than the common AHP method,and the integrated overlay rule,which includes selecting the minimum value,weighted linear combination(WLC)and simple summation.The main advantage of this improved technique is that it can make UCLSE more comprehensive,more operational and more reasonable.It can provide a scientific basis for decision making in the planning and management of urban construction land use.The improved MCE-GIS system has been adopted in the New Hefei City,Anhui Province,China.Based on the results of UCLSE in New Hefei,three functional areas including construction-appropriate areas,construction-restricted areas and construction-forbidden areas could be worked out,in which 36.90%of the total study area could be developed as urban construction land and the remaining 63.10%should be protected as reserves land or as ecological land.Furthermore,the results can provide scientific decision support for spatial planning and eco-environment protection in New Hefei.

Analyzing and Pondering on the Regulation of Urban Construction Land Expansion

Along with the economic development and the acceleration of urbanization,urban construction land expands rapidly in China,and has resulted in a series of socio-economic problems.This article summarized the major points of controlling the unchecked and rash expansion of construction land in the academic circle,and analyzed the problems of regulating the expansion of construction land from three aspects.First,this article analyzed the relationships between socio-economic development and urbanization from the historical viewpoints,and pointed out that the expansion of construction land is a historical phenomenon which will be surely appeared in the development of human race.Second,the authors utilized two-sector model to analyze the importance of urbanization in the socio-economic development from the academic angles.At last,the authors utilize four-quadrant model and bidrent curve model to analyze the influence that brought by the strict control of construction land expansion.Through analysis,this article drew some conclusions.First,the expansion of construction land is a phenomenon which will surely appear in the social development.It is impossible to accomplish the national modernization on the basis of dualistic structure between urban and rural areas.Second,under the function of rent gradient gap,strict control of construction land expansion will not only obtain the anticipated effects,but also cause a series of socio-economic problems,such as land-levying contradiction,the appearance of limited property right house,and being dependant on lease instead of expropriation.Third,unreasonable policies and governmental behaviors are the roots of the unchecked and rash expansion of urban construction land.Based on these conclusions,this article proposed that three transformations should be realized to regulate the unchecked and rash expansion of construction land:transfers from quantity regulation to quality regulation,from direct regulation to indirect regulation,and from single-measure regulation to multi-measures regulation.

Discussion on Mode of Key Link in Increase and Decrease Connection of Urban and Rural Construction Land

With the methods of qualitative analysis, induction and deduction, modes of key links in increase and decrease connection of urban and rural construction land are proposed in view of the involved three key links, namely reclamation of rural construction land, fund raising and management of connection turnover index, based on the comprehensive analysis of political connotation in increase and decrease of urban and rural construction land. The modes include "village relocation and combination", "hollow village" reconstruction, high-rise stereo, village relocation in the mountain and related capital raising and turnover index management and the applicable regions of various modes are analyzed and studied. The research result provides reference for the reasonable operation of increase and decrease link of urban and rural construction land.

Study of Urban and Rural Construction Land Change Based on Small Scale in Dafang

This paper is to examine the urban and rural construction land data of Dafang between basic year and final year based on country scale and spatial econometrics,and analyze its spatial pattern and change feature. According to the results,the construction lands in all the villages of Dafang County showed strong spatial autocorrelation and significant spatial cluster. After the analysis of local Moran's I,the construction lands in 381 villages of 36 counties presented strong activity. The original small-scale villages were gradually enlarging,which will not only gradually benefit local development,but also be in accordance with the strategy of " one city,one district,eight parks".

Empirical Study on the Relationship between Economic Development and Urban Construction Land in China: Based on the Panel Data of Provinces

The panel data of 31 provinces,cities and autonomous regions was used in order to test the relationship between economic development and urban land. The result showed that the sequences of economic development and urban land were in accordance with first order integration. Secondly,there was cointegration between economic development and urban land and the cointegration equation illustrated that 10% of increase in GDP per capita would drive 4. 94% of expansion in city construction land. Thirdly,according to error correction model,economic development is the Granger cause of urban land expansion in the long term while the reverse relationship was not proved. In short-term,economic development and urban land expansion were Granger causes of each other. The long-term equilibrium can only regulate the short-term imbalance of urban land,arriving at 33. 83%. Therefore,the government should formulate related policies to encourage real estate developers and enterprises to increase land utilization efficiency,strictly control the increase of urban land and regulate short-term imbalance.

Focusing on urban construction land expansion,governmental influence on expansion of urban construction land in China is analyzed from fiscal decentralization,government game and land system.Due to fiscal decentralization and coupled with GDP-based performance evaluation system,local government seeks to maximizing economic profits.Whereas,land systems such as land property,land expropriation and land transfer system,let the local governments' profit seeking behavior achieved.The conclusion is that the government's role in urban construction land expansion is mainly from local governments.

Study on Jinan urban construction planning based on the protection of karst landscape

Study on urban construction planning based on karst landscape protection contributes to sustainable development of urban construction in karst area. Jinan is a city famous for karst spring water. Karst landscape plays a decisive role in urban construction. Through hydrogeological analysis, the distribution characteristics of karst mountain, cave, gully and flat dam in Jinan are analyzed. It is revealed that various karst landforms are involved in the spring circulation process to varying degrees. Some karst landforms have been destroyed in the process of urban construction and the karst landscape has been overexploited resulting in the direct or indirect weakening of spring water recharge and infiltration capacity and the decrease of spring water flow. Through the study of the principle of organic combination of karst landscape and urban construction planning, on the basis of protecting the ecological environment of the south, paying attention to the overall protection of the karst geomorphology system and the principle of accessibility of the karst landscape, the development countermeasures guided by urban planning are put forward based on karst landforms protection. On the basis of fully considering the special karst landform conditions in Jinan, the countermeasures are that the ecological control red line of urban construction planning should be set up based on karst mountains and valleys in southern of Jinan City. It is suggested that the bare carbonate rock continuous mountain foot line in the direct recharge area should be taken as the south control red line of urban development and included in the overall planning. The urban landscape is mainly displayed in the main axis based on karst mountains and springs, constructing East-West Axis-characteristic Landscape Belt along the Wufeng Mountain-Langmao Mountain-Hero Mountain-Qianfo Mountain-Long cave-Panlong cave-Jinping Mountain line and North-South Axis Landscape Belt along the Baotu SpringQianfo Mountain line, Baiquan-Panlong cave line, Baimai spring-Dajian Mountain line. Based on the karst river valleys and the river system, the urban spatial pattern is constructed, forming ecological corridor, restoring infiltration function of river. The form of urban construction should be shaped based on karst landform and the river system. The main form is semi-star like radiation type and the combination of central intensive type and zonal type. Based on the whole protection of karst geomorphology system and the scientific molding of karst landscape, the ecological landscape city with the symbiosis of spring and urban can be built.

Promoting Poverty Alleviation through the Project of Linkage of Urban Construction Land Increase with Rural Construction Land Decrease——A Case Study of Binchuan County in Yunnan Province

The policy of linkage of urban construction land increase with rural construction land decrease is an important task for poverty alleviation. It not only promotes the intensive use of land and the coordinated development of urban and rural areas,but also plays an essential role in poverty alleviation development and the relocation of poverty alleviation. It provides a strong guarantee for winning the project of poverty alleviation. Taking the project of linkage of urban construction land increase with rural construction land decrease in Binchuan County in Yunnan Province,combined with the current situation of poverty alleviation and relocation in Binchuan County,the implementation of related policies of linkage of urban construction land increase with rural construction land decrease,and path of relocation poverty alleviation,this paper introduced problems in the implementation of policies of linkage of urban construction land increase with rural construction land decrease in Binchuan County,and came up with recommendations for the project of poverty alleviation through linkage of urban construction land increase with rural construction land decrease.
