NPWTi accelerates wound healing through macrostrain, microstrain, and cyclic fluid instillation. Wounds benefit from additional superficial infection control with the removal of microorganisms, the release of proinflammatory mediators, stimulation of angiogenesis, as well as mechanical debridement. However, very few cases of utilizing NPWTi in the treatment of sternal wound infections have been reported in the literature. This case study describes the use of NPWTi with hypochlorous acid for the treatment of a sternal wound infection.展开更多

It is shown that it possesses an orthorhombic structure with space group Pmmm ...A solid solution of (HfSc)0.83W2.25P0.83O12-δ is synthesized by the high-temperature, solid-state reaction and fast-quenching method. It is shown that it possesses an orthorhombic structure with space group Pmmm (47) and exhibits negative thermal expansion (NTE) property with low anisotropy in thermal expansion. The coefficients of thermal expansion (CTEs) for a, b, and c axes are -1.41×10^-6 K^-1, -2.23×10^-6 K^-1, and -1.87×10^-6 K^-1, respectively. This gives rise to volume and linear CTEs of -3.10×10^-6 K^-1 and -1.03×10^-6 K^-1, respectively. Besides, it exhibits also intense photoluminescence from 360 nm to about 600 nm. The mechanism of NTE and the correlation of the PL with axial thermal expansion property are discussed.展开更多

The non-Marko...We present a non-Markovian master equation for a qubit interacting with a general reservoir, which is derived according to the Nakajima-Zwanzig and the time convolutionless projection operator technique. The non-Markovian solutions and Markovian solution of dynamical decay of a qubit are compared. The results indicate the validity of non-Markovian approach in different coupling regimes and also show that the Markovian master equation may not precisely describe the dynamics of an open quantum system in some situation. The non-Markovian solutions may be effective for many qubits independently interacting with the heated reservoirs.展开更多

Objective:To investigate the effect of intensive psycho1ogical nursing on the mood and coping ways of spinal tuberculosis patients.Methods:The clinical data of 102 patients undergoing spinal tuberculosis surgery in ou...Objective:To investigate the effect of intensive psycho1ogical nursing on the mood and coping ways of spinal tuberculosis patients.Methods:The clinical data of 102 patients undergoing spinal tuberculosis surgery in our hospital from February 2017 to January 2020 were retrospectively analyzed.A11 the cases were grouped according to different nursing plans,patients who received routine care were included in the control group(n=50),and the ones with intensive psychological care were included in the observation group(n=52).Compare negative emotions after nursing[assessment using self-assessment scale of anxiety(SAS),depression self-assessment scale(SDS)]and solutions[assessment using medical response questionnaire(MCMQ)]of the two groups.Results:After nursing,the SAs,SDs scores,avoidance and yield scores of the two groups were reduced,and the coping scores were increased,and the change of the observation group was greater than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Spinal tuberculosis surgery patients were treated with intensive psychological care,which can relieve patients'negative emotions,improve solutions and are worthy of clinical use.展开更多

Using imprest data, we determine the optimal objective function, dual decision variables, primal decision variables;the range of values, the cost coefficient and RHS constraint must lie for the solution to stay optimal. It is seen that there is a critical power q = qc such that this equation has no positive radial entire solution that has finite Morse index when q 〉 qc but it admits a family of stable positive radial entire solutions when 0 〈 q ≤ qc- Proof of the stability of positive radial entire solutions of the equation when 1 〈 p 〈 2 and 0 〈 q ≤ qc relies on Caffarelli-Kohn Nirenberg's inequality. Similar Liouville type result still holds for general positive entire solutions when 2 〈 p ≤ N and q 〉 qc. The case of 1 〈 p 〈 2 is still open. Our main results imply that the structure of positive entire solutions of the equation is similar to that of the equation with p = 2 obtained previously. With increasing the content of W, solid solutions of Hf Mg Mo3-xWx O12 crystallize in an orthorhombic structure for x≤2.0 and a monoclinic structure for x2.0. A near-zero thermal expansion(ZTE) is realized for HfMgMo(2.5)W(0.5)O(12) and negative coefficients of thermal expansion(NCTE) are achieved for other compositions with different values. The ZTE and variation of NCTE are attributed to the difference in electronegativity between W and Mo and incorporation of a different amount of W, which cause variable distortion of the octahedra and softening of the MoO4 tetrahedra, and hence an enhanced NCTE in the a- and c-axis and reduced CTE in the b-axis as revealed by Raman spectroscopy and x-ray diffraction.展开更多

These include the Parallel Flow (PF) and the Counter Flow (CF) protruding-edgedplate exchangers...Laminar flow and heat transfer in different protruding-edged plate systems are modelled and analyzed in the present work. These include the Parallel Flow (PF) and the Counter Flow (CF) protruding-edgedplate exchangers as well as those systems being subjected to Constant Wall Temperature (CWT) and Uniform Heat Flux (UHF) conditions. These systems are subjected to normal free stream having both power-law velocity profile and same average velocity. The continuity, momentum and energy equations are transformed to either similarity or nonsimilar equations and then solved by using well validated finite difference methods. Accurate correlations for various flow and heat transfer parameters are obtained. It is found that there are specific power-law indices that maximize the heat transfer in both PF and CF systems. The maximum reported enhancement ratios are 1.075 and 1.109 for the PF and CF systems, respectively, at Pr = 100. These ratios are 1.076 and 1.023 for CWT and UHF conditions, respectively, at Pr = 128. Per same friction force, the CF system is preferable over the PF system only when the power-law indices are smaller than zero. Finally, this work demonstrates that by appropriately distributing the free stream velocity, the heat transfer from a plate can be increased up to 10% fold.展开更多
