The subway evacuation mo...The subway is the primary travel tool for urban residents in China. Due to the complex structure of the subway and high personnel density in rush hours, subway evacuation capacity is critical. The subway evacuation model is explored in this work by combining the improved social force model with the view radius using the Vicsek model. The pedestrians are divided into two categories based on different force models. The first category is sensitive pedestrians who have normal responses to emergency signs. The second category is insensitive pedestrians. By simulating different proportions of the insensitive pedestrians, we find that the escape time is directly proportional to the number of insensitive pedestrians and inversely proportional to the view radius. However, when the view radius is large enough, the escape time does not change significantly, and the evacuation of people in a small view radius environment tends to be integrated. With the improvement of view radius conditions, the escape time changes more obviously with the proportion of insensitive pedestrians. A new emergency sign layout is proposed, and the simulations show that the proposed layout can effectively reduce the escape time in a small view radius environment. However, the evacuation effect of the new escape sign layout on the large view radius environment is not apparent. In this case, the exit setting emerges as an additional factor affecting the escape time.展开更多

As the world's second-largest economy, China is committed to the development of new quality productive forces and will make significant contributions to global development. In theory, it shows direction for the development of new quality productive forces on a global scale. In practice, it provides experiences for other economies to develop new quality productive forces. It also helps address the common challenges facing global development. The competition between major countries in traditional fields will continue, but in the case of the development of new quality productive forces, it will show some new characteristics. Based on data analysis, this paper uses the neural network, operational research, modelling and simulation to predict and analyze social security events, studies the usage rule of emergency force and deployment algorithm, and conducts simulation experiments to evaluate and compare the different force deployment schemes for selection.展开更多

Validation was performed against the experimental data. Using this model, the emergency braking process for a combined marshalling heavy haul train was investigated to obtain the distributions of the longitudinal compressive forces and strokes of coupler devices. Then, the influences of the initial braking velocity, the synchronization time of master and slave locomotives, the coupler stiffness and the vibrator mass on the longitudinal forces and strokes were analyzed. The results show that it should be avoided that the emergency braking starts at a low initial speed. Keeping synchronism between master locomotive and slave locomotives effectively helps to reduce the longitudinal forces. Reducing the coupler stiffness appropriately and adding rigid arm connections, the longitudinal vibration frequency can be brought down and the longitudinal forces will be decreased, which improves the running safety of heavy haul trains. All of these research results can provide a reference for the operation and development of heavy haul trains.展开更多

Due to the rapid development of society,public places,especially large shopping malls,are relatively frequent places for emergencies.Such emergencies not only seriously affect public security and property,but also bri...Due to the rapid development of society,public places,especially large shopping malls,are relatively frequent places for emergencies.Such emergencies not only seriously affect public security and property,but also bring great psychological pressure to citizens.Therefore,this study is of great significance for the exploration and study of public place emergencies.The research object of this study is the public shopping mall.Based on the AnyLogic simulation platform and guided by the relevant principles of social force model,this study utilize the pedestrian storehouse in the platform as the core module to build the simulation environment,and attempts to simulate the police force restraining effect on the overall event and the perpetrators after the occur of emergent incident under different police force allocations.In order to ensure the accuracy of the experimental data,the research team conducted field survey to estimate the average flow of people and the general data of the security personnel in shopping malls,also estimated the rest rain and capture time after repeated experiments.The results indicate that increasing additional police force outside the shopping malls and pre-organizing reasonable patrol routes can obviously facilitate police officers to restrain perpetrators.Meanwhile,it is also clear that the AnyLogic platform can effectively simulate pedestrian movement and interaction behaviour in emergencies.展开更多
