The article is divided into two main sections: firstly, we focus on the case of uni-variable depth-one polynomial recurrences. Subsequently, the systems of depth-one polynomial recurrence relations are discussed. The corresponding transition matrix is constructed and upper triangularized. Furthermore, the powers of the transition matrix are calculated using the back substitution procedure. The explicit expression for a solution to a broad family of recurrence relations is obtained. We investigate to which recurrences the framework can be applied and construct sufficient conditions for the method to work. It is shown how introduction of auxiliary variables can be used to reduce arbitrary depth systems to the depth-one system of recurrences dealt with earlier. Finally, the limitations of the method are discussed, outlining possible directions for future research.展开更多

The recursive character of the procedure is proposed to overcome the difficulties with high dimension of the observation vector in computation of a statistical regularized estimator. As to deal with high dimension of the vector of unknown parameters, the regularization is introduced by specifying a priori non-negative covariance structure for the vector of estimated parameters. Numerical example with Monte-Carlo simulation for a low-dimensional system as well as the state/parameter estimation in a very high dimensional oceanic model is presented to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed approach.展开更多

An accelerometer can be mounted on the wheel hub for measuring road disturbance; this signal is used to identify the CARMA model parameters by recursive forgetting factors least square method. The linear quadratic integral (LQI) control method for the active suspension is presented. The LQI control algorithm is fit for vehicle suspension control, for the control performance index can comprise multi controlled variables. The simulation results show that the vertical acceleration and suspension travel both are decreased with the LQI control in the low frequency band, and the suspension travel is increased with the LQI control in the middle or high frequency band. The suspension travel is very small in the middle or high frequency band, the suspension bottoming stop will not happen, so the vehicle ride quality can be improved apparently by the LQI control.展开更多
