Analysis of Characteristics of the Rural Political Participation in Yan'an Period

From October 1935 when the Central Red Army arrived in northern Shaanxi to March 1948 when the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China crossed the Yellow River,the Communist Party of China inspired ordinary party members' political participation consciousness through rectification and seeking the opinions of non-party individuals,and stimulated the political participation enthusiasm of democracy activists through the special election to improve farmers' political participation awareness,in order to form a unique " Yan'an democratic model",which greatly accelerated the victory of the resistance war and accumulated rich experience for democratic construction.

Social Media Use and Political Participation in Rural China:A Case Study

Among the few studies conducted on political participation in China,most, if not all, provided an urban-centric picture of participation with both Internet-based debate on certain topics or offline movement on a specific issue.Little attention is paid to the role social media use which might play in rural politics in China. This paper takes it from here and looks at how factory nongmingong in China use social media to participate in rural politics, as well as the relationship between such use and political participation.We employ a processual approach to rural politics where rural politics is viewed as the interaction between individual participant and the structural forces,cultural or political, that comprise the current cultural nexus of power within the enlarged social landscape of rural politics. We will in this process examine the participation of their perception of rural politics, expression as well as action. By interviews and participant observation among nongmingong in this villa,ge, we demonstrated that their perception of the factory culture, the time limits imposed by the factory, and extant social networks on social media and the renting and mianzi principles attached to it are three important cultural forces shaping both their political use of social media and the observed political participation. The very affordance of friends and group chats offered by WeChat, when adopted by them, in our case, play a central role in this process.

Bangsamoro Women＇s Participation on Political Processes in Lanao Del Sur

This study attempts to examine the conceptual and political bases of Bangsamoro women＇s participation on politics in terms of electoral, policy-making, and peace processes in Lanao del Sur. The descriptive correlation method was used, which utilized a survey questionnaire as the primary source in acquiring the data. The findings showed that the majority of the respondents were young, most of them were married and had finished elementary degree. It was observed that their participation in electoral, policy-making, and peace processes was high but vote buying, political ideology, and corruption were considered to be their problems. Despite cultural barriers, a clear understanding of their role as Muslim woman can increase their participation. Hence, total reform in the government as well as the Barangay should be done including their participation for the training programs on leadership, accountability and transparency, human and political rights awareness as well as the Shariah Law and the Philippine Constitution. Political party system that has a strong alliance to other political parties shall also be established in order to assure their participation. Linkages to other civil society like class-based organizations, occupation-based associations, and interest-based societies shall be tapped by the leaders of Bangsamoro women.

Survey of Contemporary College Students＇ Political Participation

The network of political participation is relative to the traditional political participation, it takes the Internet as a carrier, with distinctive character, with a more convenient, fast, and even without time and space constraints advantage. Political participation has to be affected by the social and economic development, political system, social and environmental factors, countries generally believe that collaboration between the Government and social organizations, networks of enterprises, schools and other interested parties are currently the main mode of network governance. College students are the main power of the network of political participation, the university plays an important role in the political participation process. Therefore, this article takes online political participation of college students as a starting point, through questionnaires and case interviews and other methods to investigate the current status of college students online political participation, analyze network characteristics and problems of college students in political participation, to guide the college network path which provides reference for orderly participation in political studies.

On the Value of the Legalization of Political Participation in Protecting Human Rights

It＇s necessary to legalize political participation in contemporary China because of its value in protecting human rights in terms of function and value. That is, the legalization of political participation aims to promote human rights protec- tion. Applying Politeness Strategies in Teacher Talk to Increase Students Participation

Based on Brown and Levinson's face theory, this paper points out that Chinese students keep silent in the English class for the sake of their face wants. As facilitators of language learning, teachers need to learn some politeness strategies and employ various politeness strategies to maintain and enhance students' face to spark their motivation to participate in the interactive activities so as to develop their language control.

Visualizing Clashes and Alliances in Social Networks of Political Discussions

Political discussions are characterized by conflicts of interest, and decisions are made based on negotiations. In general, participants need to reinforce their opinions and influence other participants. In this context, it is important to know how allies and opponents are positioned, in order to understand the discussion dynamics and plan adequate actions. This paper suggests the use of social network visualizations to explicit oppositions and alliances in order to support the understanding and following of political discussions. A system which supports these visualizations was built. An experiment performed to test the proposed visualizations showed to which extent they can be more efficient in identifying information about clashes and alliances than an online discussion system can.

Corruption,which is a serious problem for us today,covers a wide range of social and political phenomena and processes,from the normal functioning of ordinary citizens to the forms and structures of political governance.In particular,the personality is determined by the way of life,the environment,and the needs of the family and social group,and then a political ideology is formed based on the multifaceted interests of social groups,which are expressed in complex social,economic,and political forms.Indicators of the extent to which social well-being is achieved in developing democracies raise questions about whether citizens are united in their views and actions,as well as how they participate and are interested in social and political activities.On the other hand,this is reflected in the differences in views and the level of trust in the government and other social institutions,and as an important tool for determining the development of the country.It is necessary to determine the level of social and political participation.This is the root cause of the problem.Because every democracy is very different,to understand how they affect human development,and to be a social person,people need to be able to provide a little economic security and an understanding of the issues at stake.This is the basis for building a transparent society based on the principles of zero tolerance for corruption,justice,equal participation,and equality.That is why in this subsection we explore the relationships between political parties,groups,political,business,and criminal groups in the form of political corruption,as well as the causes of political corruption in the political sphere.

Review on Political Efficacy:Four Approaches and Various Measurements

The one-dimensional understanding of political efficacy has developed into the two-dimensional understanding,including the internal efficacy and the external efficacy.There are various measurements concerning political efficacy researched and acceptable abroad.In China,scholars localize such measurements in order to adapt to the Chinese national conditions.After researches from the perspective of sociology,social psychology,rational choice and participative behavior,scholars continue to research political efficacy from various perspectives.However,as far as the research perspective,research content and research approach are concerned,China still has a long way to go.

数字技术与政府治理有效性:来自285个城市的经验证据

政府治理有效性是对治理能力予以定量识别的重要参考。本文基于2003—2021年我国285个城市的面板数据,实证检验了数字技术对提升政府治理有效性的作用。研究发现:数字技术能够提升政府治理有效性。进一步将政府治理有效性细分为经济治理有效性和社会治理有效性发现,数字技术既能够通过要素流动机制让企业信息获取能力提升和重资产比重降低,提升经济治理有效性,也能通过政治参与机制增强民众政治效能感和政府信息处理水平,帮助政府提升社会治理有效性。在高数字基础设施建设水平城市、适度数字人才集聚度城市、超特大城市、副省级以上城市、资源型城市以及市场化程度和财政透明度高的城市中,数字技术对政府治理有效性的作用更强。同时,数字技术对政府治理有效性的影响在东部沿海、黄河中游等人口密集地区显著为正,在西北地区显著为负。数字技术对政府治理有效性存在正向空间溢出,本地数字技术发展也能促进相邻城市政府治理有效性提升。对此,政府应制定企业数字化转型的激励政策,加强民众数字素养教育,制定全国性的数字治理发展规划,构建地区间协同互通的数字政务体系。

新时代河北省高职院校大学生有序政治参与现状及对策研究

高职院校大学生有序政治参与在推进新时代我国民主政治建设、促进大学生自身成长发展上具有重要意义。高职大学生有序政治参与呈现出参与热情提高、参与心态理性、参与方式多样等积极态势,但同时存在政治参与态度冷漠化、动机功利化、过程无序化、行为效能感低等消极倾向。高职院校通过采取发挥思政课的主阵地作用、构建大思政教育体系、营造良好的校园文化氛围、开展丰富的社团实践活动等对策,实现对学生有序政治参与的有效引导。

公域视界的捍卫:自由议题的新共和主义论证

消极自由本身所带有的逃避政治的倾向在不断深入的现代生活中走向了激进,从而使得自由这一价值成为了隔绝公共生活的防火墙。在此基础上,主张私域优先与宽容原则的结果是公共生活出现了“部落化”特征。为了捍卫日益衰退的公共生活,新共和主义者们从自由概念出发对这一价值进行重新论证,不论是强调自由的积极参与面向还是免于支配面向,其最终都将视界锁定在公共领域的维护之上。尽管新共和主义者们给出的自由方案遭到了各方的质疑与批判,但是却为弥合个人生活与公共生活间的裂痕提供了新的思考路径与方案。

20年来“新的社会阶层”研究回顾与展望

自党中央提出“新的社会阶层(人士)”概念后,学术界进行了大量研究,但缺乏系统性的总结。基于CNKI(2000—2022年)的文献数据,对20年来新的社会阶层研究进行回顾发现:在基本概况上,该研究领域经历了探索、爆发、回落、上升企稳四个时期,统战部门期刊、人员、网络占据主导地位;在研究内容上,主要是对新的社会阶层人士概念进行溯源与群体确认,了解此群体的政治态度以及对他们的政治引导和组织;在发展脉络上,呈现出从参政议政的主体参与到社会治理的组织动员全过程。展望未来,需要在加强统战研究、丰富群体研究、深化理论研究等重点方向上着力。

论杜甫参政实践及其文学影响

杜甫入仕之路坎坷,疏救房琯失败,表明其实际政治能力不足。儒家“学而优则仕”为杜甫参政提供了社会基础,“致君尧舜”的儒家政治理想促使杜甫一生积极参政,从而具有敏锐的政治眼光。杜甫参政的失败,与盛唐时期“吏治与文学之争”有关,而文学的浪漫与现实政治的冷峻功利的天然矛盾是杜甫参政失败的根本原因。杜甫的参政理想和政治理想代表着人类伟大而宝贵的良知。参政的经历乃至参政的失败,激发了杜甫文学创作的激情,并形成其独特的文学面貌。

“共促”还是“区隔”?两种短视频使用对青年线上政治参与的影响——基于短视频治理感知的中介作用

利用问卷调查数据,研究意在探析短视频这一深受青年喜爱的新型视觉化社交媒介对其线上政治参与行为的影响。鉴于短视频的产制和使用均在政府“改进和创新正面宣传,加强互联网内容治理、塑造清朗网络空间”的宏观背景下进行,研究亦考察政务短视频这一特殊的短视频形式的影响,以及作为中介变量的短视频治理感知在这一过程中发挥的作用及效应。结果表明,一般性短视频使用削弱了青年线上政治参与,且不受短视频治理感知的中介影响,而政务短视频使用却对青年线上政治参与具有显著促进作用。同时,青年在接触和利用政务短视频的过程中,改善性治理感知(信息公开感知)程度较高,会进一步强化其线上政治参与,且即使限制性治理感知(网络秩序感知)程度较高,亦不会减少其线上政治参与。由此可以推断,政务短视频青年用户更趋向认可这种紧张且有序的短视频治理秩序,而是否频繁使用政务短视频等政务新媒体,有利于辨认或“区隔”青年用户中的积极参与者,从而给予正确引导。

皖籍进步青年的思想转变与身份转换——以1919—1923 年安徽青年运动为中心

1919—1923年,安徽相继爆发了五四运动、六二学潮、反对第三届省议会贿选等十数次影响较大的青年运动。作为青年运动的主体,部分皖籍青年在此过程中逐渐认识马克思主义的科学性和无产阶级力量的强大,思想开始由改良转向革命,站到无产阶级革命的立场上来。随着运动目标从争取学生权益发展到反对当局,皖籍青年进而加入政党以寻求政治力量,在思想转变的基础上进一步实现了身份转换。需要指出的是,以上环节并不是单一的线性过程,也不是皖籍青年个人发展的唯一路径。但对这一发展路径的内在逻辑进行探析,可以回溯一代皖籍革命青年的成长轨迹,也可从中映照出安徽马克思主义传播和中共党组织发展的历史进路。
