Under the current government strategy of building a Silk Road economic belt, tourism in Chinese border counties has becoming increasingly popular. Studying tourism competitiveness in Chinese border counties is of sizable theoretical and practical importance, as there are several notable factors involved. In this study, we constructed a tourism competitiveness evaluation model based on eight factors: natural environment, tourism resource, location and transportation, social environment, tourism service facility, border port, tourism industrial cluster and tourism market. We then analyzed the spatial characteristics of tourism competitiveness in border counties and identified five types of border counties: resource advantage type(RA), border-port advantage type(PA), location advantage type(LA), agglomeration advantage type(AA), and relative balance type(RB), and examined the correlation between tourism market competitiveness and interior competitiveness factors in the counties from 2006 to 2011. Results showed that tourism resource, location and transportation, and tourism service facility are the most important competition factors for RA border counties during the study period. Competition factors in PA counties transferred from tourism resource, social environment and tourism service facility to border port and tourism industrial cluster; competition factors in LA counties transferred from natural environment and tourism resource to tourism service facility and tourism industrial cluster and border port. Competition factors in AA counties transferred from tourism service facility to tourism resource. Tourism industrial cluster, tourism service facility and tourism resource proved to be important competition factors in RB counties. Architectural heritage comprises one o the most important elements of mountain settlements in Greece. It holds high cultural value, represents the tangible continuation of the past and forms the unique character and identity of each mountain region. Yet, controversy regarding funding for its preservation often arises. In this paper, we used two Contingent Valuation surveys to estimate the socia benefit deriving from protecting the traditiona architecture in the mountainous village of Sirako and through it, to examine perceptions and attitudes o local residents and visitors. Research findings revealed a strong social will in favor of the good's protection followed by high percentages of positive willingness to pay(WTP). However, WTP is significantly higher among residents. Cultura heritage value, of the good, appears to prevail, along with the environmental one. However, both residents and visitors pointed out that local heritage, if wellpreserved, will boost tourism development. Residents appeared to better recognize the true level o architectural decay, expressed higher apprehension for its protection and were willing to pay higher amount of money. Tourists, on the other side expressed high satisfaction for their visit, appreciated the beauty and serenity emerging from local built and natural environment and spent several days visiting the surrounding area. The longer they stayed and gotfamiliar with the village, the more willing they were to contribute to local heritage's protection. Percentages reflecting indifference for protecting architecture were extremely low. Yet, they were higher among tourists. Traditional architecture is considered as public good; an opinion resulting in an important percentage of visitors stating that national government should provide the necessary funding. In addition, the architecture appears to hold a high level of topicality. Those descending from Sirako or emotionally connected to it, of both social groups,turned out to be more concerned about the good and with a stronger sense of responsibility for it. Usevalue of the good holds high economic value, as well,while higher percentages of zero WTP appeared among non-users. Research findings revealed social attitudes and perceptions on what constitutes architectural heritage, in its cultural and economic frame. Vanuatu is an underdeveloped country,but it is rich in tourism resources and has become an increasingly popular tourist destination.Tourism is one of the pillar industries of national economy.At present,the core component of Vanuatu’s tourism consumption structure is the basic elements based on accommodation,transportation and catering.However,the proportion of shopping,sightseeing and entertainment,which are factors of tourism value-added consumption,is very low.Therefore,it is urgent to improve efficiency and quality of tourism.This study suggested that Vanuatu develop characteristic cultural tourism products in multiple dimensions,build its characteristic cultural tourism pedestrian streets,make cultural tourism products with food tourism as the theme,create a brand series of Vanuatu characteristic tourist souvenirs,design the characteristic homestay experience with "slow tourism" as the core and optimize the structure of tourism consumption in Vanuatu to improve its cultural influence and the level of modern service industry and realize the optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure. 展开更多

Coastal tourism is the main resources from tourism sector in North Kayong Regency.Despite the fact that its potential resource from coastal area tourism has similar attraction in order to attract the tourist more extensively,it is necessary to make an effort to tackle the stagnant market of tourism towards similar coastal tourism destinations.Therefore,it would be a good to make the destination to be more attractive by enhancing the existing tourist attractions through strengthening the destination characteristics as attractiveness that are derived from its signature.Moreover,it could diverse the destination that would impact for its benefits in terms of diversity destination.The lack of development in costal tourism destination tends not to take all part of the area for the benefit of its tourist destination development that is caused by many factors.One of many possible efforts to support the development of coastal tourism is the identification of its availability and establishment of signature tourist destination characteristics.Every tourist destination has their own difference characteristic.This is one of the reason why the development and develop of tourist destination for coastal tourism tend to be influenced by its own unique characteristics.In order to enhance the values,it is needed to put an effort to classify and look for the uniqueness,for further appreciate of uniqueness characteristic.The result of classification from this research has been determined by its own potential and characteristic for each destination.For every category derived from the variable identified from existing condition of every destination.The variables are used to determine many factors of successful development of destination,which are very dependable to the existing resources and coastal resources such as tourism infrastructure,general infrastructure and accessibility as part of the efforts of shortening the access time.The purpose of this research is to search for characteristic of coastal tourism in Remote Island and coastal area of North Kayong Regency.Secondly,it is to find the opportunity to create multi-destination concept in the pattern of tourist visits in the corridor of coastal tourism and to match the appropriateness between the tourist destination characteristic toward the opportunity to create multi-destination concept as direction for strategic development concept to enhance the value of representative destination in remote area location.This research uses descriptive qualitative method with an emphasis on deductive approach.The instruments used for analysis are questionnaire,interview,and continum scale that produce from the Likert method of satisfaction questionnaire.This research reveals that there are many strong characteristics from the uniqueness of nature,i.e.,geographic condition,and ecology which has unique landscape for its gold sand color and natural geological coastal stone distinctive for every destination and its own unique panorama.There are many opportunities to develop the potential of rich natural from coastal area,such as the potency to match up the creative economy with community based tourism.There are many factors that are very crucial to support coastal tourism as multi-destination tourist destination such as infrastructure availability.All of those things will make contribution to enhance the potential of economic growth from tourism industry especially coastal area of tourist destination. 展开更多

Based on the climate observation data of Kangding City in recent 60 years,the changing trends of temperature and humidity index and wind efficiency index in Kangding City are analyzed.The results show that the annual average temperature and humidity index and wind efficiency index of Kangding in recent 60 years showed an upward trend,which is consistent with global warming climate.Temperature and humidity index tended to change from the cold grade to the relatively cold and cool grades,and wind efficiency index changed from the slightly cold wind grade to the cool wind grade.Seen from temperature and humidity index and wind efficiency index,the climate was comfortable and relatively comfortable from May to September,which will become an important climatic reference to attract tourists. 展开更多

新冠疫情防控转段后,中国经济正在恢复发展,旅游市场在其中发挥了独特的作用。在此背景下,文章对疫情转段后我国旅游业复苏态势作出学理解释,并分别利用官方统计数据与第一手调查数据加以分析。研究显示:旅游业复苏的宏观趋势是国内旅... 新冠疫情防控转段后,中国经济正在恢复发展,旅游市场在其中发挥了独特的作用。在此背景下,文章对疫情转段后我国旅游业复苏态势作出学理解释,并分别利用官方统计数据与第一手调查数据加以分析。研究显示:旅游业复苏的宏观趋势是国内旅游市场成为复苏主力,重要节假日市场带动整体复苏,入境旅游市场复苏形势优于出境旅游;旅游业复苏的微观特征为个人及家庭旅游消费明显回暖,自然观光游等产品更受青睐,旅游信息获取主要依赖线上平台,旅游交通和目的地信息等公共服务较受关注,游客整体满意度高但购物和旅行社评价偏低;旅游业复苏面临的主要问题为旅游时间高度集中于法定节假日,旅游消费结构不均衡,行业复苏基础不牢固,市场预期需进一步增强。为此,短期内要巩固扩大旅游市场复苏趋势,长期要培育旅游业新质生产力,以人民为中心实现旅游业价值,并针对痛点和堵点优化治理环境。 展开更多

在对旅游业综合指数和新型城镇化综合指数进行定量测度的基础上,文章利用2004—2019年中国内地省际面板数据,分别采用面板空间计量模型、面板分位数模型和门槛空间动态面板模型,对新型城镇化影响旅游业的空间效应及非线性门槛效应进行... 在对旅游业综合指数和新型城镇化综合指数进行定量测度的基础上,文章利用2004—2019年中国内地省际面板数据,分别采用面板空间计量模型、面板分位数模型和门槛空间动态面板模型,对新型城镇化影响旅游业的空间效应及非线性门槛效应进行实证检验。结果发现:新型城镇化不仅对本地区旅游业具有促进效应,还对邻接地区存在积极的空间溢出效应;在旅游业发展水平由低到高的动态过程中,新型城镇化建设对旅游业发展的边际影响效应呈现显著递增的非线性特征;当考虑地区间新型城镇化建设水平差异时,旅游业发展策略存在显著的地区间非对称空间互动,即新型城镇化建设对旅游业发展的影响存在正向的非线性时空效应。 展开更多

乡村旅游地是乡村旅游发展的空间载体,研究其空间分布格局有利于优化乡村旅游供给,助推乡村振兴战略。以广东省259个文旅特色村为研究样本,运用最邻近指数、缓冲区分析、地理探测器等空间分析方法探究广东省文旅特色村空间分布特征及其... 乡村旅游地是乡村旅游发展的空间载体,研究其空间分布格局有利于优化乡村旅游供给,助推乡村振兴战略。以广东省259个文旅特色村为研究样本,运用最邻近指数、缓冲区分析、地理探测器等空间分析方法探究广东省文旅特色村空间分布特征及其影响因素。结果表明:(1)广东省文旅特色村的空间分布类型为集聚型,在市域范围内分布不均衡;(2)广东省文旅特色村呈多核心集聚发展态势,可分为珠三角双核心区与粤东单核心区,3大集聚区均形成明显的“中心-外围”结构,珠三角双核心区已形成连绵发展态势;(3)在地形、水文、交通、人口密度等自然地理与社会经济因素综合作用下,广东省文旅特色村呈现出南密北疏的空间分布格局。 展开更多
