An Exploration of Higher Vocational English Teachers’Professional Development on Students’Learning Ability in the Context of New Liberal Arts

The concept of New Liberal Arts,a multidisciplinary combined integrator with Chinese values at its core,has brought new challenges to the teaching methods and professional development of higher-level English teachers.Based on the evolving professional development process of higher vocational English teachers in the context of the New Liberal Arts,this article analyzes how English teachers can integrate multidisciplinary knowledge and adopt advanced educational technology in the teaching process.On this basis,it discusses the role of teachers’professional development in enhancing students’learning ability,such as through deepening disciplinary understanding,adopting innovative teaching strategies,and implementing personalized teaching.At the end of the article,based on a variety of pedagogical theories,we put forward suggestions,including continuous professional training,interdisciplinary cooperation,and the application of innovative teaching techniques,which are mainly aimed at helping higher vocational English teachers get rid of the dilemma of the new situation,adapt to the needs of the new liberal arts education as soon as possible,and then effectively improve students’abilities.

An Analysis of Teacher's Professional Development of Higher Vocational Education

Teachers are the backbones of any educational institutions. They not only play vital roles in students' development;they also directly affect the stature of their respective scholastic organizations. Highly qualified instructors produce competent and well-rounded students— learners who are more than ready to face the quirks and challenges of the labor force. This paper primarily discusses the following questions: What is teacher's professional development? What is higher vocational teacher's professional development? And how can scholastic institutions promote it? The conclusion states that the characteristics of higher vocational education directly influence the higher vocational teacher's professional development; therefore, it must be nurtured and promoted for the development of all the stakeholders of learning institutions – students, teachers, management staff,the learning institution itself, and the nation as a whole.

Exploration of Professional Practice Teaching Skill of Higher Vocational English Education

Higher vocational English education major is an important channel to train teaching staff for primary and secondary schools of China and professional skill is one of essential factors which forms the training goal of higher vocational English education.In view of this, this article summarizes the current status of practice teaching of higher vocational English education which aims to explore a set of teaching ideas, teaching modes and teaching theories that suit professional skills training practice of higher vocational education, so as to find some effective teaching methods for professional skill training practice to meet the social requirements for the graduates and pave the way for their future employment.

Evaluation of Technical Education by Using a Modern Structured MOODLE Laboratory Course, in Relation to Recent Data

E-learning platforms support education systems worldwide, transferring theoretical knowledge as well as soft skills. In the present study high-school pupils’, and adult students’ opinions were evaluated through a modern structured MOODLE interactive course, designed for the needs of the laboratory course “Automotive Systems”. The study concerns Greek secondary vocational education pupils aged 18 and vocational training adult students aged 20 to 50 years. The multistage, equal size simple random cluster sample was used as a sampling method. Pupils and adult students of each cluster completed structured 10-question questionnaires both before and after attending the course. A total of 120 questionnaires were collected. In general, our findings disclosed that the majority of pupils and adult students had significantly improved their knowledge and skills from using MOODLE. They reported strengthening conventional teaching, using the new MOODLE technology. The satisfaction indices improved quite, with the differences in their mean values being statistically significant.

The integration of digital teaching resources in higher education has become increasingly prevalent,offering transformative potential for teaching and learning.This study employed a mixed-methods approach to investigate the application and impact of digital resources on learning outcomes within higher education settings.Quantitative data from surveys indicated a positive correlation between digital resource usage and learning motivation,with students demonstrating higher knowledge retention and engagement levels.Qualitative interviews highlighted themes such as personalization,engagement,and the challenges of the digital divide and professional development needs.The research underscores the importance of strategic integration,equitable access,and ongoing support for educators and students.Recommendations for higher education institutions and policy makers include improving digital access,fostering a culture of innovation,and providing professional development opportunities.The study also identifies areas for future research,such as the long-term impact of digital resources and the potential of emerging technologies.

The Application of "Four-step" Teaching Method in the Process of Professional English Teaching in Polytechnic

Under the background of economic globalization,the compound technical and skilled talents with a certain compre?hensive ability of professional foreign languages are the urgent needs of enterprises.Under the current environment of Higher Vo?cational education,there are many problems in the teaching of professional foreign languages.Students,teachers and textbooks are not well integrated to form an effective teaching.By investigating the actual situation and according to my own experience,the teachers put forward the"four-step"teaching method of professional English,which can simplify the complexity,orientate accurately,simulate the training of various situations and strengthen the use of various means.It not only improves the interest of students in learning professional English,but also reduces the teachers'teaching burden and improves the existing teaching effect.

Thoughts on the Professional Growth of University Teachers in Digital Era

The development of information and technology has changed education namely teaching and learning.This paper analyzed the main characteristic of university teachers’professional growth in digital era by theoretically analyzing the impact on education of information and technology.In the new era,teachers should assume more abundant roles,such as lecturer in the classroom environment,model of students’life,mentor/instructor,teaching evaluator,resource developer,planner,leader and manager,etc.Teachers in the digital era should own the qualities of“foundation”,“growth”,and“expansion”.On this basis,several suggestions for promotion of teachers’professional growth have been given.It is necessary to explore the way of professional growth for university teachers in the IT age by constructing a UGIT collaborative“front and behind continued”teacher cultivation mechanism;exploring a practice-oriented,precise,scientific and demand-driven cultivation model;and strengthening the training of teachers’IT application ability.

基于职业发展视角下的高职学生职业素养培养研究

新时期的职业教育改革发展,对职业人才职业素养的教育提出更高要求。以职业发展为核心的职业教育体系建设,要围绕提升职业人才的职业素养做好教育布局与教育设计,充分以产业发展、经济发展及企业发展为主体,培养具备高素质、高水平的职业人才,并利用强化职业信念教育、加强职业道德教育引导及深化职业潜力挖掘等基础策略,不断提升职业人才的就业发展水平,促使高职的职业人才教育输送,能有效填补我国职业人才的行业缺口。

我国法律职业教育的发展与展望

中央《关于加强新时代法学教育和法学理论研究的意见》《关于推动现代职业教育高质量发展的意见》等相关部署和政策举措,为扶持发展法律职业教育带来新的发展机遇,为优化法学院校体系和构建法学教育新发展格局提供了有力制度保障。为更好把握法律职业教育今后发展,思想认识上要明确法律高等职业教育与法律专业学位教育属于同一的人才培养的性质,二者不能分别开来;要重新审视和总结提炼法律职业人才培养积累的丰富经验,在国家重新布局“普通高等教育”和“职高”两个并立体系基础上,要统筹考虑法律专科、法律本科、法律硕士、法律博士各层次人才培养环节的管理体制、工作机制与政策协调,各层次人才培养与现行三级学位制度的关系,与国家统一法律职业资格考试准入条件设计的关系,以及职业教育体系中法律本科与普通高等教育中法学本科之间的关系等重大问题。在这个过程中,必须强化系统思维,加强统筹谋划,努力一体推进。

新时期医药行业对高职药学专业人才的职业核心能力要求调查

为了解新时期医药行业对高职药学人才的职业核心能力要求,为教育教学改革提供依据,笔者从社会能力、方法能力及专业能力三个维度设计评价职业核心能力问卷,对长三角地区药学全产业链上下游企事业单位的101名不同层级管理人员进行调研。调查发现,医药行业对学生职业核心能力有一些新变化和新要求。医药行业对学生的敬业精神、职业道德、诚实守信及责任担当要求非常高,各医药行业对专业知识与技能的要求也有所不同。

课程思政对培养医学生职业道德观念的影响

目的 以普通外科学为例,探讨医学生课程思政教育对其职业道德观念培养的影响。方法 2020年1—12月,在佳木斯大学临床医学专业普通外科学的教学中未采取课程思政改革,选择某班50名学生为对照组;2021年1—12月,在佳木斯大学临床医学专业普通外科学的教学中采取课程思政改革,选择某班50名学生为观察组。对比两组学生的职业道德评分、本学期期末考试成绩和教学满意度。结果 教学前,两组学生的行医求仁信念评分、无私奉献精神评分、以人为本原则评分比较,差异无统计学意义(P> 0.05);教学后,观察组以上评分均较对照组高,差异有统计学意义(P <0.05)。观察组考试成绩、教学满意度均较对照组高,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论 在普通外科学课堂上添加课程思政元素,有助于提升医学生的思政水平,推动医学生职业道德观念的养成。

职业教育适应性是指职业教育作为一种类型教育、适应外部环境需求和变化的能力,是衡量职业教育高质量发展的核心指标。专业群分类精准育人能够立足产业发展,注重学生个性化和可持续发展,有助于增强职业教育适应性。作者以苏州健雄职业技术学院药品生物技术专业群人才培养为研究对象,聚焦职业教育适应性与学生个性发展,探索基于职业教育适应性的精准育人路径,并从课程体系、教学平台、教学资源、评价体系和管理制度等方面进行阐述。

优化职业教育类型定位,走好通往专业高职之路——基于ISCED2011及《前往专业行当的通道》评核报告的新视角

国际教育标准化分组2011通过职业专业与普通学术两种取向的划分,为国际层面更好地收集、比较和分析各国教育系统数据打开了一扇方便之门,很大程度上弥补了该分组1997版本在概念准确性和实践适切性方面的缺失。但囿于其对专业取向具体定义的悬而未决,仍让国际间数据收集、比较和分析工作无所适从,留下了进一步研究解读和实践探索的空间。OECD最新发布的职业教育与培训评核报告《前往专业行当的通道:理解高等职业与专业第三级教育系统》较好地回应了这一问题,找到了务实可行的进一步定义方案,是ISCED2011修订版发布以来的一项重大进展。该报告以相关国家系统数据及调查数据为基础,分析了专业教育计划的实际现状,阐释了技术变革时代经济社会对理想技能的新要求,在继承和发展ISCED2011的专业取向构念基础上,提出了专业第三级教育计划分组的架构与思考。该报告提出的关于聚焦专业取向教育计划的政策辩论意见、“三向度”高教分组中的“二向度”专业教育计划分组方案以及专业取向教育的独特性、增值性和高等性等理念,对于我国把握终生学习背景下的职教类型定位、专业第三级教育计划分组下的贯通衔接以及技能型社会的技能需求和专业技能系统的治理等有诸多新的启示。正确理解和积极吸收相关有益经验,有利于我们优化职业教育类型定位,走好通往中国式现代化的专业高职之路。

高素质职业农民高职课程教学探索与实践——以设施农业生产技术与装备课程为例

基于高素质职业农民学生学习特点,以北京农业职业学院高素质职业农民招生专业设施农业与装备的核心课程之一——设施农业生产技术与装备为例,从课程教学目标、课程内容、教学模式、课程思政、考核方案等方面对课程教学总体方案进行了详细阐述,并通过“无土栽培设施安装与运维”学习模块任务的教学实施过程分析,展示了课程教学团队对于该课程的教学探索与实践,为更深层次的课程改革提供经验借鉴。

基于Delphi-AHP法的高职专业课教师课程思政能力评价指标体系建构

专业课教师的课程思政能力是高职院校全面推进课程思政工作的关键。针对高职专业课教师课程思政能力结构尚不明晰,评价体系粗放等问题,采用Delphi-AHP法构建高职专业课教师课程思政能力评价指标体系。通过文献三级编码、专家咨询和研究小组讨论,拟定高职专业课教师课程思政能力评价指标体系草案,然后经过两轮德尔菲(Delphi)专家咨询,确定了包含5个一级指标、17个二级指标和58个三级指标的评价指标体系,再采用层次分析法(AHP),构建各级指标判断矩阵,计算各指标权重并检验判断矩阵的一致性,确定各指标的合理权重。研究结果在理论上为探究高职专业课教师课程思政能力内涵拓展了新的认知视角,在实践上为高职院校教师课程思政能力测评提供了可操作的依据和方向。

高职酒店管理专业学生职业认同感的培养探析

目前高职酒店管理专业普遍存在学生工作态度不积极,对行业认知不全面,工作强度较大的现象,影响了学生的职业认同感,学生的择业心态有待提升,学校的职业认知教育有待加强,酒店的工作环境有待完善,社会的传统观念有待改变。为此,要培养学生对行业的专属情感,学校要增强对学生的职业意识教育,提高酒店对学生职业认同感的意识培养,推动社会对服务行业的认同和理解。
